Krampus!Law AU

Young krampus Law coming to take Luffy to hell for being bad and instead ends up being non-consensually assimilated into Luffy's found family and he doesn't have enough energy as a person to fight it. (He's also too week to that smile but no one has to know that.) It goes downhill from there and they eventually get married and adopt twp cats and a little cerberus puppy (is not very little after a few months). Law only bothers to actually take Luffy to hell when Luffy's at the end of his lifespan so they can keep being happily married (in hell)

Law's grandpa Is Not Pleased™ but when did Law ever care what Sengoku has to say? He'll come around eventually anyway, he's too soft (Cora's words)

Cora is very supportive and he comes visit every sunday with meat freshly roasted over hell's fire (made by Baby 5 and Baarbara the hell-goat because Cora might be a krampus and he might live in hell but he is also NOT allowed anywhere near a fire)

Ace thinks Luffy dating a krampus is fucking hilarious. Sabo likes to threaten Law any chance he can get just for the hell of it but he actually kind of likes him

Garp also thinks it's fucking hilarious but he also threatens Law every time he sees him (and he means it)

Dadan is the one who accidentally called Law to take Luffy after the shitty little brat broke one too many of her favourite mugs, glasses, plates, chairs, and dining tables. She's not even surprised that, not only is Luffy still running around breaking things, but he's now also dragging this poor, poor tired krampus along. She apologises to Law for the first time 2 minutes after Law first steps into their house

(Law just sighs and glances at Luffy, who grins and waves at him excitedly, and Law then can do nothing but shrug and mumble something about "his life getting ruined and for what? A smile so bright it blinds him? How disgusting.")

(Dadan is not entirely sure how she feels about Law's disturbingly relaxed tone but she also isn't getting paid enough to deal with That™)

The Straw Hats are not even surprised when Luffy introduces his new krampus friend to them and they all just look at him, look at Luffy, look at each other, shrug, and that's it

It only occurs to them a week later that Law is from hell and can therefore share info on unexplored lands, powerful demons, exotic kitchen, unknown plants, funny bugs (a question that was not well received by some), different medicine technics, ancient, undiscovered relics, and--oh god do these questions ever stop?!

Bepo, Penguin and Shachi freak out for a moment but then they notice how happy Law looks talking about how much Luffy drives him crazy and that's about enough for them

(Shachi and Penguin like to whine and complain about how Law should take his stupid pining elsewhere, some of us are lonely, you ass)

(They also like to actively and loudly plan the wedding years before it even becomes an option for Law and Luffy. They do it to tease and bother Law but also because once it comes down to it, they WILL be ready)

Doffy is that one aunt who drops by once a year unannounced, tries to get all the dirt on everyone and everything, shares the dirt on everyone and everything (without being asked), and then fucks off and is never heard of again until the next time he decides it's time to bother his favourite nephew and his cute little boyfriend again just because he thinks Law's reactions are funny

(Law has to recover for a week after each and every one of Doffy's visits)

Fwiw-- common cold #2 is far more of the sore throat, mild bouts of hacking cough, feeling run down and tired whereas NASTY ASS COLD #1 was a full on Stuffy Head So MUCH FUCKING MUCUS MAKE IT STOP that took 5evah to clear out because so much fucking mucus.

Common cold #2 is at that point where it will either be a brief annoyance and gone in a day or three, or it will decide to blossom into mucus-fucking-hell. Hopefully it won't. It doesn't have that feeling and is mostly a nasty sore throat and full body laziness.

I would like it to clear out soon.

Hide and Seek - Sam Golbach X Fem!Reader - Part 2

Okay. Finally. After weeks of waiting, here it is! I am really sorry for how long this took for me to finish, everyone. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. I know I made you wait waaaay too long for the ending.

“I am not kidding, there was a little girl - a little girl laugh - like ‘ahahaha’ over in the corner. There’s no other girls in the building, (Y/n) is right beside me.”

“Dude, we were just talking quietly. That was creepy as hell!” You looked around and sat quietly for a moment. “I kind of hope we get found soon so we don’t have to deal with any entity alone.”

“Hey, you’ve got me right here,” Sam teased.

“Cool, so I can just push you forward and book it, yeah?” You joked back. Luckily it was common for you two to interact like this in front of the cameras so it wouldn’t seem weird to Sam and Colby’s fans.

“Why are you so mean to me?”

“Who was it that planned this challenge without telling anyone?” You pointed out, crossing your arms and giving him a fake glare.

“Okay, fair. But it shouldn’t be too much longer. Colby’s at least found some of the guys.”

Sam and you both sit in silence for a few minutes, waiting to see if anything else happens. Eventually Sam turns the camera off again and turns to you. “We can probably get a bit more time together before they find us.”

“Oh? Are you that eager, Golbach?” Now it was your turn to tease him a little.

“Now that I know I can kiss you, I don’t want to pass up the opportunity.” With his infectious smile he leans in closer. You smile and chuckle a little before quickly giving in. I can’t fault him for being honest, but I can at least give him shit about it. While kissing Sam you grab onto his jumper again, but this time pull him closer just to be mischievous. Apparently it flipped a switch because Sam suddenly had his hands on your waist and was pulling you onto him. You held in a shriek of surprise as not to give yourselves away. Without pause the kiss was becoming more heated as you snaked your arms around his neck, losing all sense of your surroundings. You wanted so badly to just melt into Sam and enjoy this moment forever.

Pulling away slowly, Sam stares into your eyes with his own baby blues and smiles at you. Suddenly you feel a little self conscious and your stomach is full of butterflies.

“What?” You ask softly, wanting to hide your face.

“You’re breathtaking, (Y/n).” Sam rubs little circles on your lower back before continuing. “And not just because we made out.”

You scoff and roll your eyes at him despite the smile on your face. The two of you are brought back to the present as you hear the whole group (Colby and The Boys) calling for you and Sam. With a small pout you leave Sam’s lap and pick up your camera. He stands up and dusts himself off before picking up his.

“I guess we won.”

“I’d say,” Sam jokes as he nudges you, earning a small shove to his shoulder. He laughs and leaves the Gymnasium with you following behind. As you both near the railing of the upper floors Sam whistles to draw their attention.

“Sam, whistle!” Colby yells out. He whistles again. “No fucking way!” The guys start looking around confused since the whistle is bouncing around the building.

“It’s coming from everywhere, guys,” You hear Josh say.

Juicy pipes up. “I swear to god if Sam walks outta that door and is like ‘Hey guys, I was just going to the bathroom,’ I’m gonna fucking lose it.” No one knew that you two were hiding together and you wondered if you should try to split off to seem less suspicious.

Sam whistled again and everyone immediately looked up at the two of you. So much for not being suspicious.

“He’s right upstairs!” Mully shouts out.

“We didn’t check the other side,” Colby says, a little disappointed. Honestly they probably would have found the two of you sooner if they did. You weren’t sure if you would have preferred that or not considering the shenanigans the two of you got into.

As the two of you walked down the stairs, Narrator turned to Colby. “I told you I saw them running around together!” He turned to you and Sam. “Why didn’t you two split up?”

“I didn’t want to leave (Y/n) alone in case something happened.”

“You’re just saying that because you wanted to steal her away!” Colby countered. He wasn’t wrong since he knew better than anyone how you and Sam interact with one another.

“I’m the only girl here, so I didn’t want to be alone in case the male ghosts felt like getting handsy,” you pointed out. This was a men’s prison after all and many of the inmates probably went decades without a woman’s presence.

“Yo I didn’t even think about that. They totally would target (Y/n) if she were alone.”

“Yeah (Y/n), this is a boys only investigation.” Mully said, obviously joking. You made a face at him and flipped him off when the camera wasn’t pointed at you. They were all pretty nice and always teased one another so you didn’t mind being included. If anything it was just like spending time with Sam and Colby, only twice as chaotic.

Since you and Sam won you both chose Mully to go solo in solitary confinement, especially since he decided to pick on you. The investigation only got more interesting and creepy from there, especially with the entity known as Mr. Nasty. You were happy when it was time to wrap up and head to the hotel for the rest of the night.

“I think running around to hide took more energy than I thought,” you sighed as you climbed into the back of the rental car.

“You sure that’s the only thing you were doing when you and Sam ran off?”

“Other than getting scared by that little girl, yes.”

“Suuuuure,” Colby said as he started up the car. You were pretty sure Sam would tell him about you two later, if he hadn’t already.

Later, you thought to yourself. Did he mean tomorrow? It’s already kind of late and we’re all pretty exhausted. Once again your heart was fluttering and your cheeks felt warm as you remembered what happened in the gymnasium. You were glad Colby had to focus on driving so he couldn’t see your face in the rearview.

After arriving at the hotel and lugging the equipment up to the boy’s room you stretched and yawned. “I think I’m gonna head to my room for the night. See you guys tomorrow?”

“I’ll go ahead and walk you to your room, (Y/n),” Sam volunteers as he sets down the last bag of equipment.

“Don’t have too much fun, you two,” Colby calls out, busy unpacking some stuff.

“Yeah, yeah.” Sam follows you out the bedroom door and walks with you down the hall. It’s super quiet in the building as the other guests sleep the night away. You feel awkward again and fidget as you walk beside Sam, glancing at him. He catches your eye and smiles before taking your hand in his. Your heart lurches and you smile back.

You reach your room and unlock it before turning to say good night. Sam suddenly pulls you closer to him and leans in close, glancing between your eyes and your lips. “Can I come in?”

“S-sure,” you manage to stutter. You open the door and wait for Sam to step in first before entering. The interior is pretty much the same as the room Sam and Colby are sharing for the trip, except less bags scattered around. They have more equipment and cameras to keep track of for their investigations. Since you aren’t much of a content creator you only have a few items of your own for trips like these.

Sam turns to you and gently takes your hand in his, seeming a little nervous. “I wanted to make sure things were good between us before doing much else,” he explains. “I really do like you and I want to take things slow, make sure we’re both comfortable.”

“I don’t make out with just anyone at a haunted jail, Sam.” You tease with a soft smile. He chuckles and shakes his head.

“I’m glad I’m not just anyone, then.”

“Obviously.” You step closer and look up at Sam, squeezing his hand a little. “I’ve liked you for a long time, Sam. I’m definitely comfortable with being close to you and kissing and stuff.”

“And stuff?” Sam raises his eyebrows at you, curious but also intrigued. “Hey, what happened to going slow?”

“I’m comfortable with whatever you are, (Y/n). And you are the one that said ‘stuff’ which is extremely vague.”

You scoff and roll your eyes at him. “Yeah, yeah. I didn’t mean right now.”

“I know. But I’m happy to do whatever with you.” He squeezes your hand and smiles at you.

“Now who’s being vague?” You tease. Now Sam rolled his eyes before putting his free hand on your waist and gently pulling you against him. Even though you two had already made out, your ears felt hot and you felt shy under his gaze. There wasn’t any time to think about it before Sam’s lips were on yours; that familiar warmth you experienced hours ago. You had all but forgotten how long you yearned for this, how long you waited to be held by Sam like this. It almost felt like a vivid dream that would disappear if you weren’t careful.

The feeling of his tongue grazing your bottom lip brought you back to the present. Sam’s movements seemed hesitant as he waited for your reaction, testing the waters of what was acceptable. You let go of Sam’s hand to hold the back of his neck and pull him further into you, opening your mouth for full exploration. Suddenly it was as if floodgates had opened as he gingerly moved his hand up to cup the side of your face, tilting your head to deepen the kiss. Although his tongue lounged forward to caress yours he was still gentle and attentive.

It felt like the kiss lasted forever and not long enough at the same time when you both pulled away. Sam’s hair was messed up, his lips red and a little swollen from you nibbling on them here and there. He gave a lopsided grin as he planted a kiss on your forehead.

“I think that’s enough for tonight, as much as I would like to stay here with you.”

“Do you think we should wait until we get back to the states to make things, y’know, official?” You ask, absentmindedly messing with the sleeve of his shirt.

“We can tell Colby and The Boys if you want to,” Sam offers. “I’ve missed out on being with you long enough.”

A smile crosses your lips as you match his warm gaze. “Yeah, we can do that. Worry about the social stuff after the trip.”

“Works for me, cutie.”

“Cutie?” You chuckle and shake your head.

“It’s less forward than babe or baby,” Sam counters before feigning a pout. “You don’t like it?”

“It’s alright,” You tease as you kiss his cheek. “We can always worry about semantics later.”

Sam heaves a sigh dramatically before glancing at the door to your hotel room. “I guess I’ll see you tomorrow, yeah?”

“Of course. Now get back to your room before Colbs decides to make you sleep in the hallway.”

“You wouldn’t let me stay here with you?”

“Sam, if you stay in my room I’m afraid I won’t be able to sleep. And not because we’d be doing ‘stuff’, mind you.”

“Yeah, alright. Goodnight, (Y/N). I’m glad we are together now.”

Your heart swells and warms up at his words. “Me too. Goodnight, Sam.” He begrudgingly walks to the door and looks back at you as he opens the door. With a final wink Sam walks out and closes the door behind him. You sigh and plop down onto your hotel bed to process everything that had happened throughout the day. It was hard to suppress the squeal that was threatening to escape your lips as you recounted your moment with Sam in the gaol. If it weren’t for my big mouth, who knows how much longer it would have been before you confessed.

Despite the giddiness and the constant replay of the kisses you exchanged with Sam, you managed to get ready for bed and settled in to sleep. Eventually the exhaustion of the investigation began to set in, allowing you to drift off and dream of your adorable boyfriend.

3. Were there any barriers to you establishing your OCs relationship? Perhaps social or cultural stigma? Or a concern that “ships” with that character were already overdone? Or simply a fear of being seen as “cringe”? If so then how did you overcome this?

Shilberd (Shira x Ilberd) is extremely dark. He's 24 years her senior, and he finds her attractive and vulnerable enough to take advantage of. There are already a lot of implications of grooming and just general discomfort there for a lot of people. The worst thing is that she finds him attractive, despite everything he's done. She wants to hate him but she can't deny her feelings either.

I have had a lot of experiences being in Shira's situation, so writing about this kind of stuff is cathartic to me. Ilberd is just my perfect vehicle to explore these themes because (I hope) he's utterly irredeemable. I hope at least that some people would at least find the same catharsis as me in reading or enjoying my Shilberd content.

I have a lot of thoughts on sex and taboo, though at the end of the day: if you felt that you could only resonate with dark stories and things that make you uncomfortable, you are not alone, nor are you broken for it.

10. Is it important to include tension or outright areas of conflict in a relationship? If so then how do you explore these? Or does this not appeal to you?

For sure. Ilberd and Shira is a relationship built on friction. At first, I thought some of my friends believed I would write Shira being utterly love-struck with Ilberd. I actually find that more difficult to write than if there is some contention. If he says small things to get under her skin, or if he wants to try to get a certain answer out of her, or if she sees him do something completely reprehensible, yet still can't shake her crush off him.

I need them to sword fight to the death because that's sexy.

11. Does it matter to you how many other people also ship their OC with a particular character? Would this make it more likely that you will compare your material to theirs? Or does this not enter into your thinking?

I've read some of your fics I will be honest and I think James and Ilberd are a real treat! ^^ I love early James and Ilberd especially since it has that tension that sets my brain and pulse running. There's not a lot of Ilberd x WoL works so I really want to add to the small list of stories.

Ayaka sighed as she went through the paperwork for this week. An upcoming festival was being held by the Kamisato Estate in Ritou, so she needed to oversee everything.

Though something was bothering here about one of the events being held. It was a singing event by a...'Everybody's Idol'?

It was then she heard the door slide open.

(Ayaka) "Ah, Thoma. Can you please do some research about this Idol? I'm not sure who they are."

(???) "I can answer that easily for ya, AYAKA-CHAN!"

She'd recognize that shouting calling of her name anywhere.

(Ayaka) "S/O?!"

Her S/O was wearing a some...strange outfit. Even moreso than their tacky leopard-print jacket.

It was a shiny silky material, complete with pink accents, a yellow headband-...Were those wheels on their shoes?!

(Ayaka) "What on earth are you wearing?"

(S/O) "I'm the top performance, Everybody's Idol: S/O!"

(Ayaka) "..."

She blinked a few times, still not sure what she was seeing.

With a dramatic spin, they suddenly broke out into song, stunning Ayaka into complete silence.

She had heard of this song from foreign performers, but it was the first time she heard it sang so enthusiastically.

(S/O) "Hell yeah I am! Got me some cool folk from Fontaine and a Liyue chick using something called the electric guitar on the instruments!"

This was the most genuinely excited she had heard them in a very long time.

(Ayaka) "Well, I'll be sure to be in the front seats, dear."

(S/O) "You better."

(Ayaka) "...By the way, why are there wheels on your shoes?"

(S/O) "Apparently they're called 'Roller Skates'. Invented in Fontaine by a dude named Petibled."

(Ayaka) "Aren't those hard to get around in?"

(S/O) "Oh yeah! Almost fuckin' tripped like 3 times on the way here."

They tried to slide in before hitting the carpet floor and slipping, making Ayaka cover her mouth to laugh again.

Ayaka didn't know it was possible to fall even more in love than she already has.

But, it was nice to see the 'Mad Dog' enjoy themselves for the first time in a while.

Yanfei thinks it's hilarious watching S/O burst into song with their clothing.

If people were already afraid of that Xinyan woman, then OH MAN, would the people of Liyue have opinions on S/O.

She's not sure if she completely enjoys the type of music they're doing, but she can't deny it's at least different.

She just hopes they won't get into any trouble wearing those shoes, that looks like that would make a LOT of insurance on property damage come up.

Shinobu blinks in disbelief on what she is witnessing.

S/O doesn't even need to lift her mask up to know her jaw is dropped.

While she doesn't hate the song, and actually finds their singing impressive, she is downright horrified by the Arataki Gang seeing this.

For the next few weeks, she has to stop S/O from converting the Arataki gang into a boy band and terrorizing Inazuma.

She has seen fear incarnate, and it is Arataki Itto on roller skates.

Jean laughs the entire time, a mouth shyly covering her mouth watching S/O go at it.

Barbara most likely taught them what the word 'Idol' meant, and got them to do this whole song and dance.

And it was during the Windblume festival, meaning EVERYONE saw it. She wasn't sure if she should be proud or mortified by it.

If anything though, she wants to try out the wheel shoes S/O was wearing, it seemed like a lot of fun!

And she also wants to know how much Barbara taught them how to sing, or if it came naturally.

(Keqing) "What in the...?!"

She has seen S/O pull lots of crazy stunts, to the point of disregarding Lady Ninguangg's advice, moreso if they were given by her or Ganyu.

But this might be the most insane thing she's seen.

What the hell was that outfit?!

What the hell were those shoes?!

WHY THE HELL IS THEIR VOICE SO GOOD?!

Keqing refuses to admit that she actually liked the song because she knows the moment she admits it, they'll pull even crazier stunts out.

She double checks her surroundings before she starts to quietly hum the song to herself.

Thicker than demo spoilers, but I LOVE Iliya so much, and this SCENE oh my god. You meet your ex, they've got a new partner, and he just jumps in as back up. A GOOD EGG.

Even more spoilers below the cut, but I finally caught up with the demo and I have Iliya THOUGHTS

I LOVED THAT ILIYA WAS ALSO A FRIEND OF FREYA. He is rapidly becoming a favourite in this game, for as much as he wears the mantle of the Muscle, he's also well read, and I get the impression he misses humanity? From appearing more human to partying with fledglings, for him finding you aggressively attractive for being reckless and unknowingly walking into a lions den. There's an allure to humanity, to being young, and he's drawn to it, and therefore the MC as well.

And look, he's dangerous, and no vampire can really be trusted in this verse, but I feel as if he would at least regret any actions made against you ahahaha

Final point, he was gifted a book where he was mentioned in the acknowledgements, and so following the trend of his love for humanity, I reckon he's had human lovers that know what he is, and that he cares for. They're older now, probably, but I think he also has ties to humanity that he tries to hide.

My MC in this is Ash, and they're a bleeding heart who is way too honest and attached to their old life, is now missing a finger, and is likely going to get hurt by their fragile alliances, but I am ENJOYING THIS okay. Plus, they have Lee on their side, that has to count for something, right?

Re reading book 2 and I swear Jesse's first appearance is SO different from how he is now! He appears so Cool and secretive from the Dork I know now! How he walks with his hand in his pockets and talks to Cole or broke up the fight between Olivia and Kai! Did you decide to change his personality through the storie or is this just his true self that gets revealed after hanging out with the Ninja? because he seems to act more dorky with new people too now

"Okay, wait, wait, wait!" Nya exclaims, frantically poking at her bracelet. How can they just fight without analyzing the situation?! “We got a ping about the Shark Activity earlier, and—" "Oh! Yeah, that was, uh, me, actually," says Fuchsia, shrugging as he ducks under the swing of a chainsaw. "I was trying to wait around for help, but these guys were about to start attacking the arcade, so—yeah. I may have jumped the gun a bit.” Fuchsia shrugs with a wide grin, yelping as he swerves away from a swinging morning star.

...nah, always been a giant dork. Though he just has less incentive to try and hide that about him as time goes on (especially because Cole finds it endearing shgfhgfds)

That being said, I did reaaaaally struggle with early!Jesse because I wasn't even sure I could sell anyone on his character (and I kind of had to give myself space to backpedal if it didn't pan out), but sometime in April '22 I just decided to fully commit to the bit because I loved what he brought to the table and doubled down on just going ham with him when I could, and look at us now :V

Also he only reason he broke up that fight with Kai and Olivia was because he was annoyed with them snjhhgfdjhgf (and the meta reason was to let people know he was also in that class lol), BUT it also started the precedent of him acting as the group mediator, as seen in the True Potential Arc (post-Zane and during Cole's), and various points vs the Great Devourer.

And I mean, something similar happened with Olivia–she was far more "cold and calculating" in Book 1, but after her dynamic with Kai kinda took off, she's become the loud, abrasive, snarky individual we know now...and that's why Bridget now exists, to fill in the more analytical aspects of Olivia's role that would've died otherwise T-T)9

Anyway anyway, back to Jesse, I started writing all those sidestories about him to give myself a better foundation for his character even if most of them are Cole-related and to help anchor down the direction I wanted to take with him. Supplementing an existing character's growth is one thing; trying to do it from scratch? Exceedingly intimidating.

But, all has seemed to have gone well! And if nothing else, at least there's visible growth/change! :D

(...and it's not like he isn't still secretive–Kai's onto him for that much ;P)

A One Punch Man Meta (Where I overthink about One Punch Man because no one wants to)

Disclaimer: Don't take this so seriously. I just love Saitama and more so Tatsumaki so this is a fun little side project lol If you're not a fan, then think of it as my little headcanon that I want to ruminate on.

So, I have been rereading OPM partly because it’s the Psychic Sister Arc being adapted in the manga now and I simply love Tatsumaki. I need more content of her before she disappears again (insert sad face) 

To be honest, it’s going well but I am stuck in Chapter 137. Like I keep saying repeatedly, I love Tatsumaki so this chapter needs more drilling into

 In the opposite spectrum, Chapter 77 is Saitama’s chapter. Here. we have insight of his psyche via King’s introspection. He feels lonely. He doesn’t feel any emotion anymore. He thinks strength is the only metrics to be had but now he feels bored out of his mind

King actually suggests Saitama to maybe have friends outside of the Hero’s association but he rejected it quite vehemently. He doesn’t need any more friends let alone outside of the Hero Association. (SO WHAT DO YOU WANT SAITAMA)

Here we have an overpowered hero who feels nothing.

On the other hand, we have Tatsumaki who feels every emotion in the maximum capacity.

Both person, with overwhelming strength, felt very alone

I still can’t make heads or tails on how to perceive Tatsumaki’s character and how I feel Saitama will have a profound effect on her debilitating psyche. You ask, why these two specifically and why not others? Because I want to shoo.

For sure, I think we’re all expecting it but Saitama is going to be the catalyst for her change. And by we, I mean maybe it's just me. Lol.

Blast was the one who put the curse in her heart and someone else is going to have to remove it. Who else but someone who actually parallels Blast but is more open to have positive relationship with other people?

Once Saitama utters the phrase “I’m just a hero for fun”, her mind has to go to Blast immediately. It has to!! But unlike Blast who told her to not expect anyone to come save her, this one’s going to be sticking with her.

And before all of you say it’s going to be Fubuki that should help her sister out, it’s not. At least, it's what I believe.

I think Fubuki is a hindrance to Tatsumaki. Tatsumaki feels obligated and responsible for her sister’s safety (Because Blast said so and she took it so seriously) therefore if she’s going to do any growing up, Fubuki needs to be out of the way.

For #1 to happen, Fubuki needs to have her own storyline out of her Sister's sphere. This is where Psychos and the Blizzard group comes into play, so many forthcoming things on that front (especially with the new scenes in the webcomic)

In Chapter 144, Fubuki mentions that she is gathering forces to help her sister so she can save her. This is why Saitama and Fubuki's arc are interconnected because Fubuki will be the leeway to connect Saitama and Tatsumaki's paths together

Saitama by way of meeting Fubuki was actually the reason why Fubuki understood her sister a little better (It's lonely at the top) which establishes that Saitama and Tatsumaki are one and the same person. They just need to realize this Fubuki panels that make a direct comparison between Saitama and Tatsumaki

Anyway onto reading the rest of the chapter and overthinking. Until this arc is over, I'm not gonna shut up ahahaha *Evil laugh*

You made many valid points about the wags, I think it's important to remember that we probably (can't speak for all of us, can I) don't have the same money as them to buy designed clothes, have surgical procedures (let's be honest, some have) and look after themselves as they do and being stunning is part of their job. With that being said, I hate that some fans are putting them on a pedestal, makes me think they are only interested in drivers and their life and not the sport. I particularly hate reading things like "she is everything, he is just there" like... another important thing, especially from a feminist point of view, is how these women are literally put against each other. the edits we see about current wags and exes and constant comments on their social medias about their boyfriends, their exes, their friends, is ridiculous.

these women are more than their respective s/os, in fact they are their own independent selves who suddenly got thrown into a world where they are glorified without asking for it yet insulted and torn apart for the same reasons.

i have seen certain wags being targets of such amount of scrutiny for 5 second clips, i can only imagine the mental toll that exerts on them. women are always a bigger target of scrutiny, insult and ridicule, comparison and everything in-between than men. they have to be pretty enough for the men, sweet enough, but not too much or people will say they want fame or something.

and then this idolization of these women is equally harmful because they are not role models to have. we know even less about them than about the drivers we like. we know absolutely nothing about them and placing this responsibility to be perfect on their shoulders is ridiculous both for them and for whoever does it.

we are force-fed a ridiculous amount of capitalistic propaganda from this system that it goes almost unnoticed from how obvious it is. most of them are and live in very privileged social statuses and have not done much to earn any sort of fanbase (as in wag fan accs and edits. very superficial.)

we, as women, never quite win. and neither do they. i think acknowledging their existence is fine, calling them pretty is fine, but constantly reinforcing our love for people who are normal and unknown to us is peculiar to say the least. just like micro analyzing everything they do and sending them hate is peculiar. and even more - constantly talking about their relationships.

i can only imagine how odd it would be if i started dating a famous person and, by association, people started idolizing me. women are not a performance or a trophy to be admired simply for existing. they are complex, deep, and have their own personalities outside their relationships. we need to let them have that. while also acknowledging their privilege.

Elijah: haha... ahahaha. :') He is practically allergic to it. I don't think he's ever said it to anyone who wasn't his mom, and even then it was like pulling (very sincere) teeth.

Once someone told him he was their friend and they cared about him and it was enough to have him packing his bags in the middle of the night without word or warning and fleeing manfully going on a perfectly normal work trip straight to the Bozjan front (forced medical leave be damned). Very normal and healthy response to the threat prospect of sincere attachments.

it's not that he hasn't loved anyone. If he was being honest with himself -- which is something he struggles with, to be fair -- he is probably maybe sorta hopelessly and stupidly in love fond of someone presently. The kind of fond with embarrassingly soft feelings involved. However, when faced with this person saying I love you to him, Elijah's first response was to internally panic while externally shutting down, say something incredibly dismissive and a little bit unkind, then attempt to abscond without any intention of ever coming back (A classic, really). He didn't get as far as the last part this time but it was an impulse that struck him right down to his core.

But, despite everything, even if he might not say it, he does show he cares. Regularly. It's one of the few areas in his overly verbose life where he errs entirely in the realm of show rather than tell.

I rambled more than intended (on brand, given the character) so I am only going to answer quickly for the other two lads:

Baiju: He used to be very free with it for his mother and brother before he left home, but it's a phrase he reserves more for sincerely deep affection that is either familial or romantic. He finds it very easy to verbalize his affections for those he cares about in other ways. Declarations like: I care about you, you are important to me, I consider you to be as kin, etc etc.

Larkspur: Completely free with it, liberated from the confines of attaching meaning to I Love You beyond it being a thing said to a person who you like in that moment. It has lead to at least one (1) internal crisis with a friend back in Kugane -- who was both relieved and unexpectedly disappointed when he realized that Lark just meant "thanks for buying me soba dude, I was soooo hungry!"

Ooooof I haven't been on a date in so long 😭, Soo stipulations money isn't a factor and we will disband all aspects of time 🤣 that will be relative to what I'ma say. Cause I am aware this date idea would probably not be feasible if the places aren't close by or cause of traffic and time.

With that preface out of the way: where to begin hmmm- I'ma lame guy to be honest lol pretty boring, nonchalant, and chill guy. So I'm aware I'm not the type of date a woman would really like.

I love the beach, I love the ocean, and I love a bit of sports. So hear me out 🤣 id need you to bend your aspect of reality for a minute okay, let me cook. 😭.

7-8 am we get ready

9-10 let's say I'm either picking you up or we are heading to our destination.

11 am to 1 pm: we head to the zoo and enjoy the animals. You can tell me about your favorite childhood animal and what's a wild encounter you've had with one. As some conversation ice breakers 🤣 in-between us viewing the animals. If they have the golf carts we'd definitely have to get on one of those 😂 for the fun of it. And also we are getting older help the knees stay healthy for the next part of the date. Uhh if their is penguins we have to see the penguins lol- I love penguins they are my favorite. -

Remember suspend all aspects of reality for this date lol 😆.

2-3: let's say we hit up a local restaurant of your choice, but for the sake of this let's say ummm idk I'm lame LMAO, I do love some good Italian food so let's say that. I say Italian but I'm honestly hungry at the moment thinking of pizza ahahaha. Let's forget that point though 🤣. It's totally cause I can't think of a restaurant.

4-7 let's say there's a beach and there's an open amusement spot near the pier. And they have a ferris wheel, gives us some time to maybe be a bit intimate or at least close to each other while we enjoy the views of the sun soon to be setting. But before it does we see people playing a bit of beach volleyball 😂. At this time our food would be digested. So why not a game with some random people having fun being active.

7:30 pm we decided after a nice break we want to do a bonfire. And they're local shops near by so we buy some wood and everything. And I sneak in some chocolate, and sweet crackers and marshmallows to make some s'mores lol 😂. I am sooo lameee but let me carry on. Maybe a nice wine, I'll do the driving so you can really enjoy the wine lol. So respectfully I'd at most drink two glasses lol.

8-9:30 we have everything set up and we enjoy the night with a bonfire s'mores a nice moon reflecting over the Sea with waves crashing. We can just sit in some silence and enjoy the day we had together or we could have some small talk about how the day went. And if you're w smoker like me then we could smoke a spliff lol and get high if not then we don't have too.

10 pm we can finally head home for the night and call our date over.

How is that ? Lol, it's 3 am so bare with my imagination. If I'm honest Im not good with showing affection when I'm first dating though I have to be able to grow out of my shell first. I didn't grow up with parents that showed me much of any during the more important years of my childhood so go figure. I have worked on it tremendously these few years and have been able to work on it.

This date idea just come to my mind honestly lol. 3 am brain fog lol 😆.

26: My biggest pet peeves:

If I'm being honest it depends lol, cause if I'm trying to have an important conversation and you're stuck on the phone I just straight up do not appreciate it at all. Hence the run on sentence 🤣. I couldn't bother with punctuation or grammar lol. Like I can understand being able to listen while being on the phone as a solid argument. But there are times I want to feel like I'm actually being heard ? I guess that comes from childhood 🤣. It's something about saying something to someone and they're so stuck in their phone it's like their ignoring the fact you're talking. Its one thing if we're in the middle of an important conversation and your phone rings by all means see if it's something you need to handle and I can wait. But if I see you scrolling through social media while I'm trying to talk 🤣 I can't lie that's very annoying to me. Solely in the aspect of an important talk or when I made it clear I really just want to talk to you and have a conversation. If I ask for a conversation and you just get on your phone I'll just feel like you aren't interested and then I'll just go on to do something else. Be it game, watch sports, or get ready to go to sleep for work LMAO.

Is that a reasonable pet peeve ? Not sure to be honest it is also situational and I can understand I won't have someones attention a majority of the time. But it's one thing when you call someone and ask them can we have a conversation about something or a thing that's important just to immediately get on the phone and scroll through social media or apps. Idk it's just a pet peeve. I would say at the moment that's my biggest pet peeve. Like I'm understandable guy so it isn't that it will always annoy me. It's just in those instances where it would be my biggest one. 2nd place would being too petty. I can see playful petty here and there but if it becomes a theme or a constant thing it would get old quickly for me.

27: A description of the girl/boy I like:

Lol; I don't necessarily have a crush IRL. But, I like a lady who is open and honest like I am. Someone I'm able to have hard conversations with be it: relationship wise, financial wise, family wise, or overall a deep question that's lingering. Someone who isn't afraid to hurt my feelings with an opinion or statement. Someone who is patience, kind, and understanding. I don't like someone who only thinks of money, to me it is superficial Ina way even if it is a natural necessity to live these days. Someone who is willing to do the things they don't necessarily want to do but have to do and not leave a needed task be undone. That's in itself is situational I am aware. Cause some task can't be fixed or mended right that moment. I'm just the type to want to figure out what's wrong or what I can do and go from there and fix it or find a way to get it done. But that's for the super important task like repairs Ina home hence situational. But, also could extend to helping me wash or clean up even when we are tired but we just don't want the plates to pile up lol. One can do the laundry like collecting clothes, the other can collect trash for trash day, then one can run the bath while one gets the clothes from the washer to put in the dryer. Things like that. Idk I'ma very considerate person so I would like it if my partner would be as well. I don't want someone who is always going to tell me yes. If I want that I can just play video games lol. I also don't want a women who is fixated on being independent. Everyone needs help and the fixation on having to be independent is a trauma response. They have to be able to tune it down a bit. That comes from a prideful place more times than not and pride isn't something I would want Ina partner. It can be difficult to get through to someone who is prideful. Lmao, I also hate driving so preferably one who loves driving lol I can be your DJ and tell me what you want to hear I'll play it 😜 thanks for driving lol eyes on the road pls. Don't want to die.
