betrothal au is so funny actually. jay & cole are still beefing because of the love triangle, except cole has been engaged to skylor the whole time. chen made sure that cole and skylor's rooms are next to each other so kai has to look to the balcony on the other side of cole's to make googoo eyes at skylor. skylor unintentionally cracks kai's egg. kai sees cole and skylor doing a lil waltz in the courtyard one night and immediately joins jay in giving cole the stinkeye over lunch. chen sees cole and skylor sneaking off and gets one of his underlings to play romantic music in whatever room they go to. clouse suggests just using a love potion to ensure cole turns against the ninja but chen wants that to happen organically because he thinks it's funny/more satisfying. cole and skylor make up stupid pet names that make no sense. soap opera level drama. chen going all bridezilla for what should be his daughter's special day, bc he's chen.

At roughly 4 to 5am one of the cats decided to climb on top of the shelves right above my head where i sleep. Shelves that we put there specifically bc they couldn't reach them. (They grew since then. They can now...) And I was rudely woken up by a lego succulent that was on display hitting me right in the head.

The little shits have mastered verticality and I'm hating it.

So, the new episode of OSP's JttW was said to drop sometime tomorrow, and a lot of people (including myself) theorize it to be the episode the Six Eared Macaque/Liu'Er Mihou will debut, so I'm going to say this here and now...

If OSP mentions Macaque and Wukong to be brothers, DO NOT get angry and cause an uproar!!

She'll most likely mention it but as a theory, as that is a very popular theory as well as a headcanon some fans take on for the two monkeys.

The last thing we want is for another wonderful content creator to be harassed left and right to the point where they have to take a break, this fandom already tends to be a hurricane when shit goes down, let's not let it happen again.

Oh, wait, Wildbrain? Hm. It does look noticeably worse, but the effects are still good, and if they really push it they could probably still get really good things out of these models. p sure Wildbrain were the ones that worked on MLP:FiM, right? at least for some of it; and even the early seasons weren't bad, so this could be a lot worse.

I do still prefer Flying Bark's animation, and it does seem like mostly frame-by-frame animation is a dying breed, sadly, so it doesn't seem as though they could just get another studio with that specialty. I do hope that they can eventually get things better; I don't exactly know why Flying Bark left, other than some unspecified logistical issues. I should look into that, maybe. But at least it's not cancelled, and for now, Wildbrain is reasonably competent in the meantime.
