Reading the cursed child (scorbus, norvelize version in a03). I read the script years ago when I was 11 (funfact it was the first harry potter book I've ever bought). So I'm rereading it again because I have a scorbus brainrot suddenly (11 y/o me shipped Scorpius and Rose so hard but now I grew up let just say my taste had change lmao).
List of thought gonna go longer as I read:
- yo Albus surly personality is basically me when I was 15 it was like looking into a mirror. Hold on there baby I understand you 😭
- I want to write a whole essay on Albus and Harry's relationship. They both are so precious but they just have a hard time with each other.
- Scorpius is the sunshine most sunshine cinnamon role ever. I would kill for him. I would die for him.
- ALL THOSE BULLY BETTER STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY OUTCASTS BABIES.
- “And be my good friend.” what if I die.
- why do people love to torture the cinnamon roll??? I want to hug Scorpio so bad like baby you deserve the moon and the sky and the world. And the fact that he's still trying to be so cheerful and optimistic. THE WORLD DOESN'T DESERVE HIM.
- Albus and Harry's father and son angst is killing me but it is also so delicious I relish in it (it's just so complicated I love it).
- "you’re kind, Scorpius. From the depths of your belly, to the tips of your fingers." Is the sweetest thing I've ever heard anyone said. I love this quote so much I want it tattooed on my forehead.
- Again, Scorpius deserve the fucking world.
- Scorpius and Draco's relationship is SO GOOD, SO PURE, SO SOFT. They love each other so much 😭
- brb I'm going to cry at the fact that Dark AU Ron and Hermione die in such a terrible way a few minutes after they finally confess their feelings (they were scared). 😭😭😭😭😭😭
- Snape is so dramatic. Girl "you're giving up your kingdom for Albus... All it takes is one person." he made it sound like they're in a romance fantasy novel (they are).
- Head empty. Scorpius happiest memory with Albus is strong enough for him to produce a patronus.
- Scorpius is once, again, a cutie pie that deserves everything.
- Delphi is more manipulative than I realized when I first read this lmao.
- GIRL the way Albus said that he and Scorpius ran away to start a new life in the muggle world as an excuse — what do you mean you're eloping at 14??? (Out of chronological order but I just remembered this)
- Delphi when I catch you —
- Never thought I'd be rooting for Draco and Harry duo yet here we are (did I say I love Draco as a dad?? I don't think he's appreciated enough. He's a brilliant dad! THIS is his best redemption arc).
- "What did you say to our son, Harry?" GO OFF QUEEN (Albus is a confirmed mommy boy)
- RON WANT TO MARRY HERMIONE AGAIN. I don't quite ship them in the book/movie but they're just the sweetest in here 😩😩
- I just had the sudden realisation that Scorbus might be the only couple that I ship in hp that is so close to canon (and was canonised by some play if I heard correctly).
- that time where they were in godric hollow and Scorpius was surprised that Albus never knew the full story of his grandparents or visited the place just bc he was being a petty, moody uninterested teenager hit so hard (he is me and I am him). And the shame he felt was real too. I always regret those years in my life where I acted like that and I don't even have a daddy issue like Al did, what's my bloody excuse lmao (I blame fucking hormones) 😩😭
- okay so finished it!! When I was a kid I don't quite like the time travel thingy and find it very confusing but I think it's because it's a screenplay yk, and it was meant to be watched not read. But the novel version did help a lot (and I give the author my hundreds of gratitude, her writing is absolutely beautiful! And she captured the characters perfectly! If you're scared to read The Cursed Child, read her novel version in ao3!!!).
I'm surprised that I actually love the plot more than I thought I would. Yeah it can get a bit unrealistic at times but all in all it's very entertaining and Albus and Scorpius are very well written, very rounded and nuanced characters that carry the book. I'm glad their parents didn't overshadow their personality etc (like them being mini-copies of Harry and Draco). They're their own person and I love that about them!!
They're not Drarry or even Jegulus as I've seen people say, they're in their own league. There are no enemies or hatred or tension between them; Scorpius and Albus genuinely like each other so much from the first they laid their eyes on each other and I adore them for it.
I read a theory that Albus was sent in Slytherin because he subconsciously wanted to be in a house with this kind boy met on the train and it made me want to cry (they were made for each other). (Although I do think Albus have many Slytherin traits, Scorpius I was less sure he screamed Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw to me but admittedly he can be cunning to).
So yeah, I don't think it's that bad as everyone said (and my 11 y/o self). It's fun and I actually cried a lot at the end of it (I have to watch Jily die, do you have any idea what that did to me???) (I don't even ship them but i swear this book set me to default back to canon).
I really want to watch the play, would die for it but it's impossible and I can only dream.xoxo

FALLOUT JASICO AU
Vault Dweller Jason & Half Ghoul Topsider Nico
Jason
He's the "son" of Overseers Zeus & Juno. Same as canon, Beryl is Jason's mother but he doesn't remember her.
Thalia "died" due to the pandemic that happened when Jason was young.
Like Lucy, he's naive in some aspects, optimistic, and tires very hard to always keep a smile and not doubt Vault life BUT
He's best friend with Reyna and her "mother" Lupa is very fond of Jason. They were Vault Dwellers who moved in after an exchange with another vault.
They are kinda outcasts but Lupa is a pillar for their vault since she's the combat & weapon trainer and Reyna is one of the best fighters. So not too much of outcasts
Either way spending time with them makes Jason start to question things but he pushes his doubts away
Soon his parents start pushing for his marriage and Reyna is a top candidate but they hold off in a final decision until the annual Vault Get Together
(Just my made up idea of the 3 Conntected Vaults doing a Get Together to keep track on what's happening in the other Vaults. See what the others need and even set up marriages or moves, a 3 day event.)
There Jason meets Piper & Leo, they are "siblings". They hit it off and Zeus & Juno think Piper is perfect to be Jason's future wife. So the marriage is set and decided after the Get Together
Jason has mixed feelings about it but Piper seems nice, they get along and she is pretty. So maybe he'll learn to love her over time
On the last day, Zeus & Juno hold a feast at their vault. The party is going well and Jason, Reyna, Leo, Piper, and maybe others sneak off and go have fun.
As they do, one in the 3 Vault groups reveal themselves as riders and start killing the Vault Dwellers.
It's chaos and soon Jason and the others figure out what's happening, Jason & Reyna go and fight while Leo & Piper hide.
Aftermath, Lupa & Zeus/maybe Juno? Maybe both are kidnapped by the raiders and their leader say a few things.
That Reyna & Lupa were topsiders and maybe even former Raiders and that "Jason has his sister's eyes"
So Reyna is locked up and any raiders the Vault Dwellers managed to capture.
That no rescue party is going after the raiders at the moment because of low man power and that Jason & Piper's wedding will proceed when everyone is recovered
Jason, Leo, Piper all start planning. Reyna & Jadon had a heart to heart where she explained her and Lupa's past
The way I see it, they were all going to escape the Vault together but their plan went wrong.
Jason escaped first, later on Reyna & Piper, and Leo stayed behind
As Jason navigates the topside he meets the Ghost King, making an unlikely ally in him
And as always Jason falls in love with said Ghost King.

Luc Noceda: Hogwarts AU
Tumblr media
Luc Noceda is a Muggleborn witch that was born on the 16th of April 1985 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1996, being sorted into Gryffindor house.
She has an Ebony wand with a Phoenix Feather Core.
Her Patronus is an Otter.
Her favorite subject is Charms and her least favorite is Defense Against the Dark Arts.
She was the Quidditch commentator from her 4th year onward.
Luz is a kind-hearted, outgoing, eccentric, energetic, and exceedingly geeky girl, who possesses a strong love of fantasy and adventure. She is an extremely optimistic person who always attempts to see the best in others, even in past enemies. She is eager to find her place in the world and be accepted for who she feels she truly is. She is clever, creative, and a quick thinker, capable of coming up with solutions to problems on the fly, but if she has too much on her mind, she can be oblivious to things like, initially, Amity's crush on her. At times, Luz has also been shown to utter small phrases in Spanish when experiencing certain bouts of emotion. She also possesses fondness for certain animals that most would find creepy and disgusting, such as snakes, spiders, and possums.
Luz is determined to be who she wants to be regardless of the opposition she receives. However, her remarkably headstrong personality has also landed her in trouble on several occasions. As noted by Hunter, Luz tends to rush into dangerous situations without always thinking things through. This is translated during Hogwarts years by way of occasionally disobeying Professor Clawthorne and getting into trouble. Despite this, Luz is intelligent and surprisingly introspective when she allows herself the room to breathe.
Multiple times Luz has shown herself to be exceptionally brave and heroic, risking her life on several occasions to protect others, especially those she loves. She does not tolerate when others take advantage of their positions in life, regularly standing up for herself, and those who cannot do so themselves or inspiring them to as seen against the likes of Boscha at school and Belos' oppressive rule over Britain. In addition, when provoked enough, Luz is capable of great rage and is quite formidable as an opponent. This was seen during Eda was almost given the Dementor's Kiss, where Luz entered a state of despair-induced aggression capable of not only appearing to empower her magic but even striking fear into veteran members of the Ministry of Magic such as Wrath and Eda's sister Lilith Clawthorne and earning the praise of the Minister Belos himself.
However, behind much of her optimism and creativity, Luz possesses deep insecurities due to the years of ostracism she endured during school before she started attending Hogwarts. Because of her accidental magic, eccentric interests and neurodivergent behavior, she was seen as an outcast in muggle school and difficult to engage with by her peers, school staff, and, initially, her mother, leading to her not only suffering an utterly friendless childhood in Winchester but also frequent resentment and open ridicule from other children and their parents. This constant rejection from her peers, along with her inability to make friends, has resulted in Luz developing underlying self-esteem issues which will occasionally manifest. This has also left Luz afraid of basic interactions with most other people, especially those her age, as was demonstrated when she initially assumed Vee's companions from camp to be bullies who would pick on her, before being left dumbfounded when it was revealed that they were her friends. It has also been implied that Luz also was bullied by other kids for her inability to fit in, which possibly served to reinforce her fear of other teens.
In addition, another factor that weighs heavily on Luz's mind is the loss of her father, Manny, whom she still grieves for, even years after his passing. It's also been implied on occasion that much of Luz's creativity, eccentricity, optimism, and love of fantasy, especially her fondness for the Azura franchise, which was the final gift her father gave her, is a means of coping with his loss.
Arguably, Luz's devotion to her loved ones also serves as her greatest weakness, as she is constantly placing their burdens on her shoulders and blaming herself whenever she believes that her actions have hurt them. This was seen when she blamed herself intensely for both Eda's capture by Lilith and later the loss of her leg, despite Eda's reassurances that neither was her fault. This sense of guilt would traumatically increase, however, after discovering the truth about Belos' identity and the role she inadvertently played in his rise to power, finding the Collector, and nearly wiping out the whole wizarding world on Halloween in her fifth year. Following this, Luz's optimism was increasingly worn down by the traumas she endured and the constant blame she placed on herself for them, causing her to become a much more hardened and serious person who was determined to end Belos' evil even at the cost of her own life.
By the time of her sixth year, after spending the summer with her friends in the muggle world, Luz became little more than a shell of her former self, with both her mental and emotional health degrading to worrisome extents, showing multiple signs of depression. By this point, Luz's earlier insecurities and low self-esteem transformed into an intense, unhealthy sense of self-loathing, believing herself to be responsible for all of her friends and family's suffering, to the point of furiously cursing her very existence. Because of this, the traumas she endured, and the repeated failures in returning to the Isles, all of her previous optimism and cheerfulness had faded, leaving her near constantly miserable and sullen, with her mood only lightening up to save face in front of her friends and not burden them with her problems. In addition, Luz also blamed herself for nearly every mistake or hindrance that she and her friends came across, even when they weren't her fault. This eventually spurned her into deciding to permanently remain in the muggle world once Belos and the Collector were finally defeated, being convinced that being out of her friends' lives is the best way to protect them from her own flaws, despite both her friends' reassurances and the obvious heartbreak such a choice would bring her.
However, Luz's personality began to heal following a heart-to-heart talk with her mother, in which Camila apologized to Luz for attempting to change Luz into someone she wasn't and voiced her acceptance for who Luz truly is. This not only helped bring Luz closure, but also helped her realize her heart's deepest desire: to be understood. It was through this revelation that Luz was finally able to produce a Patronus, which proved to be a major catalyst in healing Luz's damaged mental and emotional states.
Following learning the Patronus Charm, Luz managed to regain some of her previous spirit, being noticeably more happy, playful and confident in herself once again, which continued to grow following her heartfelt reunion with King and Eda after enduring months of separation from them. In addition, Luz also retained her sense of compassion and empathetic nature, as shown when, despite all the harm the Collector had caused to both the Wizarding World and her loved ones, she sympathized with his yearning for companionship, offering him a chance at redemption and teaching him how to establish genuine friendships with others. This selfless nature was further exemplified when Luz sacrificed herself to protect the Collector from Belos' attack, highlighting how she is willing to lay down her own life to protect others without hesitation, and assuring the Collector they did nothing wrong, not wanting the child to blame himself for failing to redeem Belos.
After meeting and receiving wisdom from King's father in Purgatory, Luz would finally make peace with her previous mistakes and was finally able to let go of her guilt over accidentally helping Belos in the past. Finally freed from these emotions, her previously eccentric and optimistic personality showed through once again, which proved essential in allowing her to defeat Belos for good. However, after the final battle with Belos, Luz demonstrated a darker side when she confronted him for the final time, during which she showed little emotion towards the witch hunter while torturing him with the Cruciatus Curse, before allowing Eda, King, and Raine to finish him off for good. This demonstrated that as compassionate and forgiving as Luz can be, her empathy has limits, to the point where she's willing to let enemies that she deems beyond redemption die. While she didn't participate in stomping Belos to death, she did nothing to prevent it, knowing that he didn't deserve any kindness or forgiveness she otherwise shows to others.
In the four years since defeating Belos and restoring peace to the Wizarding World, Luz continues to maintain her recovered kind-hearted, eccentric, and optimistic personality as she prepares to start working as a Curse Breaker, having finally acquired the acceptance and happiness she had always longed for. She has also become much more confident in herself as she continues to pursue her dream of becoming a witch, no longer looking down on herself as she did years prior. Because of this, Luz abandoned all pretense she once held of permanently leaving the Wizarding World, instead now being able to happily travel between them and regularly visiting her loved ones in both worlds before she started working as a Curse Breaker.

Blood is Thicker than Ooze | Chapter Thirteen
Word Count: 6170 Warnings: Bad Parent Draxum, Hurt Donatello, Unreliable narrator, Psychological abuse, Separated Donnie AU, child abuse, murder Description: Purple is the son of Draxum, a great warrior alchemist. With his help, Draxum will eradicate the prophesied human threat, and restore yōkai to the surface. Purple doesn’t understand why these three turtles are trying to stop them.
Navigation First | Previous | Next
As it turned out, Hueso’s prized pizza cutter had been stolen by a yōkai using a cloaking broach. Hueso had described the yōkai’s disguised form in great detail, which had led Leo to recognize that the perpetrator wasn’t a yōkai at all. The thief was none other than a certain mutant turtle that he had become far too familiar with over the last couple of months. It was Purple, his long-lost brother.
He’d been on the fence about their relationship before, but now he was sure where the purple-masked turtle stood in his life. He was the enemy. It was embarrassing that he’d ever questioned that. Maybe it was because Mikey, who was still ever the optimist about the whole situation, still believed that some sort of light existed within Purple’s heart that they could tap into. Even after everything that had happened and everything they’d been through. Leo couldn’t quite understand it. His little brother would have to wake up and understand the severity of the actual situation soon. He had to. There was no other choice, no matter how much Mikey wished and insisted there was. Purple was Draxum’s son, not their brother. Not anymore. There was no changing that.
Hueso had shown them an alternate route to the Hidden City located within a dumpster. It was the closest portal (or so Hueso claimed), and taking it had thrown them to a dock just above a cliff’s ledge.
The moment when Leo and Mikey realized how close they both were to the edge, they scrambled back. Leo grabbed onto Hueso while Mikey kept his distance from both the drop and his brother. The skeleton yōkai rolled his eyes, seemingly unbothered by what had frightened the slider.
Despite Mikey’s continued gloom over the situation, both turtles took in their new surroundings, in awe by the great contrast this place had to the rest of the Hidden City. While most of the underground city was brightly lit and colored, this area was darker- with muted tones and flickering lights.
“What is this place?” Leo asked, tugging on the cuffs of Hueso’s jacket.
“This is the Pirate’s Cove,” Hueso explained as he led the turtles through the Pirate’s Cove. “It is the one place in the Hidden City where the police dare not go.”
“Woah,” Leo gasped, watching as two large, mean-looking yōkai arm wrested just outside a bar. “This place rules!”
“No, it does not,” Hueso said sternly, shaking his arm to force the turtle to stop holding onto him. “There are no laws here. The thief’s father is Baron Draxum, no?”
“Yeah,” Mikey confirmed, seemingly ignoring Leo’s hand moving to grip the hilt of his ōdachi securely. “Why? You know him?”
“He was once a great warrior that worked for the Council of Heads,” Hueso explained as he continued down the docks. “It is unknown what led him astray, but he was banished from the Hidden City for crimes against yōkai and humanity. It is likely that he resides here.”
Leo huffed while Mikey remained quiet as they continued to walk. It only made sense that the guy who was after them would also be outcasted by the yōkai. “So it means Purple’s here, too.”
“Sí,” Hueso replied with a sad look in his eyesockets. “And my pizza cutter. It was a gift from mí papa before he passed.”
Leo gave Hueso a sympathetic glance. He couldn’t imagine a life without Splinter. His dad was always there for him when he needed him to be. Sure, he wasn’t the best, but he tried his best, given the circumstances. And considering that Leo now knew the circumstances included loads of undealt trauma, he was a little more forgiving of the rat.
“So, what is the plan?” Hueso asked with determination.
“Yeah, I don’t do those,” Leo said smugly. He was too good for plans.
Mikey gave him a serious glare. “Leo! I thought you had a plan!” He cried out, lightly punching his older brother’s arm.
Leo only rolled his eyes, ignoring his little brother’s worry. “Relax! We never have plans, and things go fine!”
“We’re doomed,” Hueso sighed, bones rattling as he shook his head. “Is there any reason he might have wanted my pizza cutter? Maybe we can find out if he sold it to anyone.”
Leo hummed in contemplation, stopping in his tracks to think about it. It was out of character. Why would Purple and Draxum, evil scientists, want a pizza cutter, of all things? “Was there anything special about it?”
“Other than sentimental value, it had some gemstones embedded into it,” Hueso explained.
“What could Baron Draxum want with gems?” Leo murmured to himself, trying to wrack his brain for an answer. “Maybe they’re using the crystals to power a super weapon? That sounds science-y.”
“I forget that you did not attend a school of any kind,” Hueso said, disappointment clear in his voice.
“I am going to ignore that,” Leo grumbled to himself. He began to inspect the docks, looking for anything that might scream, ‘Hey! I’m into evil science!’. The blue-masked turtle could see a bar with a drunken zebra-like yokai stumbling out. Next to it was a tattoo parlor. Many of the shops there were seemingly ordinary- not bizarre or necessarily nefarious at all.
“Do non-criminals hang out here?” He asked, confused by the lack of violence and illegal activity.
“This is the Docks,” Hueso said as if it were obvious. “Nothing illegal will happen here. At least, nothing blatantly so. We will have to venture further into the Pirate’s Cove for that.”
“Gotcha,” Leo nodded before spinning around and using his sword to point them forward. “Ahoy, my lad! Let us continue our adventure!”
“I regret choosing you to help me with this,” Hueso lamented but continued by Leo’s side as they continued into the lawless part of the Hidden City.
-
Just like Cassandra requested, Purple had been outside the Foot Shack at 6:00 sharp.
The mask his father had gifted him with was secured tightly to his face, tight enough that he couldn’t move his jaws much. He’d been allowed to take it off to eat and was careful to not say anything during the meal. The mask was on for a reason. When he could demonstrate he was mature enough to go without it, then he could return to his cloth mask.
Cassandra stood at the entrance to the store, its sign still displaying that it had yet to open to the public for the day. The sun had barely begun to rise, which allowed Purple to be out in the city without a cloaking broach.
“Oh. You still have that on,” Cassandra said, gesturing to his mask. She wore her own mask, which was made of cloth and had a nice velvet hue. Cassandra shook her head, clearing whatever thoughts she might have had. “NO MATTER! We will continue to serve the FOOT CLAN and the SHREDDER by searching for the missing ARMOR PIECES! ARE YOU READY?!”
Purple attempted to respond verbally before the muzzle held his jaws close together and refused the attempt. He winced at the sudden pain, silently reprimanding himself for already breaking Father’s deliberate rule. Why can’t I even do this right?
Cassandra seemed to have noticed the issue, and Purple could see a look of pity in her eyes. He hated it. He narrowed his eyes and nodded, making a soft clicking sound without extending his jaws too wide.
Cassandra seemed to have accepted that as she continued her loud, obnoxious speech. “We will find as many ARMOR PIECES as we can TODAY. There has already been a REPORT of a PIECE being AUCTIONED OFF JUST ACROSS THE STREET. ARE YOU READY TO BREAK INTO A BUILDING LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT?!”
Purple made the same clicking sound as before in response, his eyes narrowed with determination. Cassandra seemed to approve of that answer once again because she began to (very angrily) march across the street. Purple followed her, lightly tapping on his cloaking broach belt buckle to transform into his human form. He collapsed his bō into a miniature form, placing it in his pocket.
He silently regretted leaving Shelldon at home. He wanted his friend alongside him but didn’t want him to see him like this. It was embarrassing! Being forced to wear a muzzle because you couldn’t keep your mouth shut? Purple felt humiliated and kept his head low as he continued down the street.
Purple then accidentally bumped into Cassandra, having not noticed she had stopped walking. The human turned to him, her eyes holding within them a fire that burned with fierce determination.
“We will be STEALING the ARMOR PIECE from HERE,” Cassandra said, her voice quieter but still retaining the same harsh intensity.
Purple wasn’t sure he liked her. She was really loud, even when he was sure she didn’t mean to be. It made him feel like she was yelling at him, and the anxiety that surrounded his heart when she spoke wouldn’t go away, no matter how much he told himself he was okay. Despite this, he admired her determination, however bold it was.
Cassandra was trying to brute force her way through the metal door that led into the building. To her credit, she did make noticeable dents in the door. Purple rolled his eyes and pushed her aside, using the lockpick function of his techbō to open the door without much hassle.
After a moment, the metal door swung open from Purple’s successful lock-picking abilities. He motioned for her to go in first, a small bitter part of him reminding himself that she was the leader of this operation, not him.
She marched through the doorway. Even her movements were loud and exaggerated. Purple followed behind her, closing the door and locking it behind them so they wouldn’t be disturbed.
Soon after, they began to search the storage rooms of the auction house. Each item was labeled in a neat and orderly fashion. It made Purple’s heart sing, but he knew that the organization of the auctioned items was no help in searching for a mystic metal that was most definitely disguised.
He flicked his goggles down and began to scan the room. Some of the items glowed with a mystic energy. Still, none matched the specific radiance given off by the armor pieces.
He attempted to open his jaw to call out to his partner, but the muzzle kept him from doing so. He made a small, pathetic whine of pain. The muzzle made Purple feel hot with immense shame. It was supposed to be a punishment for kids- not for a teenager like him.
Cassandra must have heard his whine because she turned to him with a look Purple couldn’t decipher. “Have you LOCATED the ARMOR PIECE?”
Purple shook his head, frustrated that he couldn’t speak, before perking up when an idea popped into his head. He knew he would technically be breaking the rule of no talking by doing it, but he decided to go for it anyway. Slowly, he signed, Do you know sign language?
Cassandra blinked at him before scrunching her face together in deep concentration. Purple took that as a sign that she did not know the language, and he sighed in annoyance. Instead, he continued his search, scanning the last of the items before moving on to the next storage room. It would’ve been helpful if Cassandra had told him the auction number, but of course, nothing could ever be that simple. After a few minutes of looking around the shelves, he heard a triumphant shout from the next room.
“AHA!” Cassandra cried happily. “I FOUND THE ARMOR PIECE!”
Purple narrowed his gaze, feeling his shoulders slump at the announcement. Of course, she’d had found it before him. Why can’t I do this?
Cassandra hurried over to him, her eyes holding a sense of accomplishment that Purple wished he could share with her. “Let us return this to the FOOT SHACK and continue onto the NEXT LOCATION!”
-
Deep within the Pirate’s Cove, located within the Hidden City, Leo, Mikey, and Hueso struggled to find both Draxum and Purple.
While Leo and Mikey had gone to Baron Draxum’s house before, it wasn’t like they’d memorized the route there. Leo barely remembered what it looked like from the outside.
Asking for information about the area and a few other yōkai proved useless, too. Most heckled for dabloons, the currency of the Hidden City, before revealing that they had no clue who they were talking about. And even if they had heard of Baron Draxum, most looked perplexed when they brought up a turtle yōkai who accompanied him.
“Maybe he does not leave the house much?” Hueso offered after the third time they were shrugged off. “My son does not leave his room.”
“I just don't understand why!” Leo grumbled, crossing his arms as he kicked a stray rock. “My brothers and I were trapped in the sewers for years, and even when Dad finally let us go to the surface, we had to be careful to not get spotted. But here?” He gestured toward the streets of criminals and banished yōkai. “He never had to worry about getting pricked or prodded by some crazy scientist!”
“Leo…” Mikey murmured, reaching out toward his brother. Leo knew he was just trying to comfort him, but he didn’t want Dr. Feelings at the moment. He just wanted his childhood with his brothers.
Hueso looked lost for words, and Leo wondered if he had gone too far. He considered Hueso like a family member- maybe an uncle. But he realized that maybe the skeleton yōkai only considered him an annoying kid.
“I’m sorry,” Leo murmured, turning to the yōkai with a remorseful look. “Just… That’s been on my chest for a while now. I’m sorry, Hueso.”
“No need to apologize, Pepino,” Hueso assured him, giving him a light pat on the shoulder. “I… admittedly, do not understand. But you deserved a normal childhood, and I am so sorry that was robbed of you.”
Leo felt embarrassed by the compassion that the yōkai showed him. He’d always been envious of April for the life she was able to lead but had never expressed his jealousy to her. It felt good to have it out in the open and not be judged. He didn’t like coming to Mikey for things. His brother was thirteen and certainly didn’t need the weight of his older brother’s mental health weighing on his psyche. “Thank you, Tío Hueso,” Leo murmured.
“Tío?” The yōkai repeated with a chuckle, smiling softly. “Where did this come from?”
“My love of free pizza,” the blue-masked turtle smirked. “I expect a freshly baked Hawaiian pizza after we’ve finished this conquest. And I will call ahead of time for my future free pizzas.”
“Can we get free flan, too?” Mikey perked up with a large smile. “I can help make it! I’ve always wanted to learn!”
“What makes you think I will be giving you free food?” Hueso asked with an amused tone. “As you both should know, neither of you are my favorite customer. That title goes to Todd.”
“I guess I won’t call you Tío then….” Leo sighed dramatically, slumping his shoulders and slowly moving forward down the Pirate Cove’s path.
“And I’ll start calling it flan,” Mikey threatened, butchering the pronunciation of the word so horribly that Leo physically recoiled in disgust.
“Fine! You can have free pizza! And flan!” Hueso said in defeat. “But you do not get any more pizzas until we get my pizza cutter back.”
Leo perked up with a large smile while Mikey fist-bumped the air. “Great! Then let us continue! Vamos!”
-
The next location Purple and Cassandra ventured to was within the Pirate’s Cove. He felt more at ease within his home region of the Hidden City and was able to ditch his human disguise once again in favor of returning to his own turtle skin. He’d grown up on these streets and was able to navigate the paths easily.
On the other hand, Cassandra was a human, leaving her unfamiliar with the yōkai’s hidden world. So, naturally, he was leading them both toward the whereabouts of the next armor piece, despite the nagging thoughts in the back of his mind that told him that someone like him wasn’t fit to lead, even if he knew these streets like the back of his hands.
“It’s said to be located within a PIRATE SHIP,” Cassandra reported. Her loud voice caused attention to be brought to them, making Purple feel anxious. He didn’t want prying eyes on them.
Purple looked up, spotting various ships in midair. Most pirates rarely left their ship, and when they did, they had their own secret portal access from inside their vessels to the docks, where they sold and traded the various goods they’d stolen via portal jacking.
“How are we supposed to get up there?!” Cassandra cried out, kicking a lamp post in frustration. She bounced back in pain, to which Purple rolled his eyes.
He clicked a button on his techbō, transforming it into a bike. He handed it off to Cassandra, before switching his battle shell into flight mode. He motioned for her to follow him, which she did rather gracefully, considering it was supposedly her first time trying this particular variation of the method of transportation.
Purple couldn’t help but blink at her in surprise, thinking she’d have a harder time with the bike. Instead, she was a natural.
Cassandra narrowed her gaze, seemingly offended by his lack of confidence in her. “I know how to ride a bike!”
Purple clicked in response and continued into the air. The ship they were heading to was the S.S. Queen Alexis, captained by Capitán Piel. Each boat had its name inscribed on both sides, which made finding the exact boat rather easy. The vessel looked like an old sailing ship despite the fact that it soared the skies instead of being plunged into the depths of the sea.
Eventually, the Foot recruit and the mutant turtle landed on the deck of the S.S. Alexis. As soon as they did, Purple took back his bike and returned it to its natural form of a bō. While he hoped this mission might present itself as a peaceful negotiation, he knew that it was most likely bound to lead to them fighting for the piece. You can never trust pirates.
“Ar, who be ye?” One of the crew called out to them. He was a loch ness monster yōkai with an eye patch over his left eye. In fact, all of the pirates on board had an eye patch.
“How did you all lose your left eye?” Cassandra asked bluntly, but the pirates ignored her.
Purple snorted at her stupidity and wished he could verbally correct her. Pirates don’t wear eye patches for injuries. They wear them so they can fight in the dark.
One of the yōkai, who looked like a squid with a muscular body, pointed a sword at the Foot recruit’s neck. “If ye don’t tell us wha’ ye’re doin’ here, we be goin’ t’ throw ye overboard,” the squid yōkai threatened.
“WE’RE HERE TO MAKE A TRADE!” Cassandra shouted, using a hand to slap away the blade. “THERE IS A VALUABLE METAL ON THIS VESSEL WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE OFF YOUR HANDS.”
“What valuable item on my ship do ye seek?” A voice echoed from above.
Purple looked up to see a flag made out of flesh waving on the ship before realizing it was, in fact, a yōkai. The man dropped down from where he’d been waving in the wind, his body making awful noises.
He was just… skin. He was entirely made of skin. Purple felt like he was going to vomit but forced himself to keep it in. He wouldn’t be able to clean it up until the end of the day, until Father returned home, where he would be forced to shamefully explain his inability to control himself.
“We are searching for MYSTIC METALS. We have located one in the BOW OF YOUR SHIP. We will offer you PREMIUM LIFE-TIME DISCOUNTS AT THE FOOT SHACK for it,” Cassandra shouted, her body rigid as she spoke.
The yōkai, who Purple had deduced as Capitán Piel, laughed. “And what makes you think I need new shoes, gata?”
Cassandra looked at the captain’s boots, which were shiny and magnificent. She sighed, conceding to his point.
The softshell snapped his fingers, getting the crew’s attention. Do any of you know sign language? Purple signed before lightly tapping on his muzzle.
“I know a wee,” the squid yōkai nodded. “I be nah fluent.” The yōkai turned to the rest of the crew to explain what Purple was doing. “The sprog be natterin’ in sign. I can translate.”
The captain nodded to his crewmate and ushered for the turtle to continue.
I am a scientist and inventor, Purple explained slowly, ensuring that the other yōkai could understand him. For a month, I will create what you want. No questions asked.
The squid yōkai relayed his message to the captain, who nodded thoughtfully. “Can you do ship repairs?” He asked. “We get into a bit of fighting with the other bands.”
Purple nodded in response. Before he could go on to explain more, the captain smirked in delight.
“I accept your deal. Show me to this magical metal, eh?”
-
Leo was going to give up on this wild goose chase. He was sure he could buy some random ass pizza cutter online, glue some pebbles on it, and Hueso wouldn’t know the difference. But Hueso was adamant about getting it back.
Mikey was empathetic toward Hueso’s plight, too. While Leo’s sympathy had slowly died down as the day progressed, his little brother’s spirits remained high.
If I didn’t love him so much, I might just abandon them both here, he thought bitterly. His stomach growled, only making his conviction stronger.
Leo turned to his brother, wondering if he’d like to stop for food soon. But his little brother looked… anxious. Like he was having some internal struggle that he was trying to bottle up but was failing miserably to do. He slowed down to his brother’s side, leaning over to him.
“You okay?” He asked, keeping his voice low. “We can stop for food if you wanna eat.”
“I’m not hungry,” Mikey shook his head. “I um… I think I saw Purple.”
Leo halted in his tracks, unsheathing his sword immediately. “Where?” He asked, his hands gripping his ōdachi firmly. Is he stalking us?
“Are you going to hurt him?” Mikey asked, grabbing Leo’s wrist gently. His eyes shone with fear and worry that stemmed from deep love and care. “Leo, are you going to hurt our brother?”
“...No, I won’t hurt our brother,” Leo said after a few seconds of contemplation. It wasn’t a lie. He wouldn’t hurt any of his brothers- he would never. But Purple isn’t our brother.
Mikey relaxed and released his hold on Leo. “Thank you,” he said. “Can you agree that we’ll try to talk with him?”
Leo grumbled something under his breath before rolling his eyes and slumping his shoulders. “We will try talking to him first.”
“What is the hold-up, Pepino?” Hueso asked, strolling over to the two turtles with a worried expression.
“I saw Purple,” Mikey explained before pointing to the sky.
It was only then that Leo realized there were pirate ships in the sky. He gawked in fascination, taking a step back in awe. “Woah…”
“Which one?” Hueso asked desperately, taking hold of the box turtle’s shoulders.
“Uhh… It’s a bit hard to read if I’m honest,” Mikey explained before pointing at one of the ships in the sky, “I think it says, S.S. Queen Alexis.”
Hueso let go of the orange-masked turtle and spun around to see the ship, his face falling immediately. “Ah, mierda.”
“Hey, if we can’t swear, neither can you,” Leo exclaimed before readying his ōdachi. “One portal to that ship coming right up!”
“Wait, Pepino- Don’t!” Hueso shouted, rushing over to stop the turtle. But before the yōkai could grab his swords and force him to stop, a portal formed beneath the three of them. Within moments, they were falling through.
The three of them landed with a thud on the planks of the S.S. Queen Alexis. Leo looked up, startled by the appearance of three mean-looking pirates hovering over them.
“Capitán Piel!” One of them called over their shoulder, “we ‘ave more turtles o’er here!”
Leo picked himself up from the floor before helping his brother up. He observed what he could of the ship, with some of his view being blocked by the pirates cornering them.
He could see that Purple and a Foot recruit were currently dismantling the door to what Leo assumed was the captain’s quarters. The pirate beside them was a yōkai made of pure flesh, which disgusted Leo. Mikey scrambled to the side of the ship, throwing up overboard.
“Ah, your brothers?” The presumed captain asked Purple. The turtle, whose mask was now metallic rather than cloth, shook his head in response.
The enemy turtle looked at Leo specifically, his eyes narrowing. His gaze then moved beside him to Hueso, and he could see a sense of regret in his heterochromatic eyes. Why did he get the cool genes?!
Purple’s attention moved to Mikey, who was excitedly waving at him. Purple gave him a weird look before waving back slowly.
“Hueso!” The captain called out, grinning wildly. Oh my God, are his teeth made of flesh? Leo thought as he recoiled with disgust, goosebumps rising on his skin.
“Piel,” Hueso greeted in response, bitterness tainting his voice.
“Wait, you two know each other?!” Leo exclaimed, looking between the two.
“Why, of course,” Piel snickered. “Who does not know of Hueso, the most wanted pirate in the Hidden City?”
“You were a pirate?” Mikey cried out with a smile. “THAT IS SO COOL!”
“I was never a pirate,” Hueso declared. “He tricked me into going on one mission, and I’m forever branded a criminal!”
“You were such a coward,” Capitán Piel sneered. “You ran away from a basic plundering. Ha! You should’ve heard his bones rattle.”
“I was a child,” Hueso countered, shaking his head. “But I fear you no more, Hermano.”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa- hermano?!” Leo gasped, looking between the two of them. “This skin dude is your brother?! Sheesh, and I thought Purple was an eyesore!” He looked over to see said turtle glaring at him, and he couldn’t help but smirk in response.
“Yes, we are brothers,” Hueso confirmed, drawing a sword. “But skin and bones do not mix.”
“WE AREN’T HERE TO FIGHT!” Mikey exclaimed, pushing himself between Hueso, Leo, and the pirates. “We just want to negotiate for the safe return of Señor Hueso’s prized pizza cutter!”
“Negotiate?” Piel laughed, stabbing his sword into the deck of his ship. “Pirates do not negotiate.”
“Technically, we’re not here for you,” Leo explained before pointing at the turtle behind them. “We’re here for him.”
Purple rolled his eyes and moved his attention back to the door, flipping his goggles on his face before continuing to try and remove a piece from the door frame.
“HEY!” Leo shouted, waving his arms in the air frantically in an attempt to grab his attention. “WE’RE TALKING TO YOU!”
Despite his yells, the turtle wouldn’t respond. Leo tried to sprint through the blockade but was caught by one of the pirates. He struggled against their hold, but they wouldn’t give up.
Purple must’ve seen this and thought it was his cue to book it because both he and the Foot recruit hopped on whatever ungodly inventions the purple turtle had made and was zooming off.
“Oh no, you don’t!” Leo shouted, elbowing the pirate holding him in his side before using his ōdachi to open a portal. He swiftly jumped through and landed directly on Purple’s back. He then proceeded to grip onto the spikes attached to Purple’s prosthetic shell for dear life, pleading to whatever pizza god there was that he wouldn’t die.
The purple turtle began to panic, his eyes wide with terror. Leo felt bad for him but shook away the feeling. There was a reason he was in this position. And it was partly because of his stupidity, but mostly because he stole a pizza cutter from his Tío!
“You stole something from Hueso,” He shouted, ignoring the fact that his voice wobbled with anxiety, “and you’re gonna give it back!”
The other turtle didn’t respond, instead trying to steady himself in the air. They were staggering towards the grown fast, with Purple desperately trying to regain control. Oddly enough, he wasn’t trying to push Leo off.
“Too good to respond to me?” Leo asked, gritting his teeth as he was smacked against a huge stalagmite. “Give it back!”
Purple seemingly refused to respond to him. Leo couldn’t understand why. Was he just being petty? He huffed, annoyed by the silence from the turtle. “I could turn you in to the Hidden City police for stealing.”
He heard a snort come from the turtle and found himself smiling, happy he’d gotten a response. “I totally could!”
When they were close enough to the ground, Purple pushed Leo off. The blue-masked turtle grunted as he hit the hard rock below. He grabbed his ōdachi, which had landed just a bit away from him. He knew he should go after the flying turtle, but Hueso and Mikey were still on the S.S. Queen Alexis, and they were his priority. So, with a swipe of his ōdachi through the air, he opened a new portal. He entered it, grabbed Hueso and Mikey-  who were cornered by the pirates- and dragged them back through. The portal was promptly sealed before any of the pirates could come barging through.
Leo sat back on the rock, sighing from exhaustion and the headache that began to pound against the inside of his skull. He rubbed his forehead, groaning. “Sorry, Hueso.”
“It’s okay, Sobrino,” Hueso said, putting a hand on the turtle’s shoulder. “Thank you for trying to help me. But I must move on. It will be hard, but… I will live. I have my father’s memory, and that’s all that matters.”
Leo smiled at the sentiment before a shadow cast over him, and he looked up to see Mikey bearing down on him. He scrambled back a bit, noticing that his younger brother looked angry.
“You said you wouldn’t fight him!” Mikey shouted, his hands balled into fists as he spoke. “You promised we would talk!”
“I said I wouldn’t fight my brother,” Leo corrected him, getting up and brushing himself off. “He will never be mi hermano. And I didn’t fight him! I tried talking to him, but he wouldn’t respond! He smacked me against a stalagmite!”
Mikey’s face fell, morphing into an expression of despair. “He is our brother,” he insisted, his large eyes welling up with tears as he spoke. “Why is everyone giving up on him? Are you forgetting he’s our age? He’s just a kid, Leo.”
Leo softened at his brother’s sadness. Maybe… Maybe he might be wrong. He hated the idea that he could be wrong, and even admitting it to himself felt like a dagger to his heart. But he had to consider the possibility. Perhaps he’d been too quick to judge Purple. How old was he? Did he like comic books like Leo? Or maybe he was more into art like Mikey. Leo wasn’t blind to the fact that Purple was still a teenager like them. He knew the turtle must have hopes and dreams like the rest.
But are those hopes and dreams good ones? He wondered silently, pulling his brother close to him to offer a comforting embrace. Or will he destroy everything I love? What else is he willing to take if he can steal something as valueless as a pizza cutter?
“Mike, I love you,” Leo said, stepping back after a few more moments of silent contemplation passed. “But he… he doesn’t want help. We asked him before, remember? We gave him an out the first time we saw him. And he refused. Not only that, but he continues to work against us and even hurt us and the people we care about. I think it's time we accept that… while he may be our brother, that doesn’t mean he’s a good guy.”
Mikey sniffled, wiping away his tears with his hand. He nodded numbly, his eyes holding a vacant stare. Leo sighed and looked at Hueso as he held his little brother’s hand.
“Let’s go home.”
-
Through the dumpster portal, they returned back to the streets of New York. Of course, they were thrown right onto the dirty concrete, meaning that Leo would have cuts to examine both of them later. Hueso led them back to the pizzeria. They had free food to redeem, after all.
Leo and Mikey waited at a booth in the back. The restaurant was empty, having been closed due to Hueso’s emergency. The blue-masked turtle enjoyed some Coca-Cola he’d gotten from the back fridge while Mikey had an apple juice. He was scribbling on a menu with the crayons given to kids during the open hours.
“I thought you were gonna help him with the flan,” Leo asked, watching as Mikey drew a cat with a purple, spiked collar and a singular white paw. He wondered if it was related to Purple in any way. But Mikey didn’t respond, seemingly too focused on his drawings to hear or respond to the inquiry.
After around ten minutes, Hueso returned to them, delivering their pizza in a box. “Here you are, sobrinos. I hope Raphael is doing well. And thank you for your help.”
“No problem, Señor Hueso!” Mikey exclaimed before showing him his cat drawing. “Do you like it? His name is Scourge!”
“It looks very nice, chico,” Hueso said with a smile before his eyes widened. “Oh, I did not show you.”
“Show us what?” Leo pried, squinting in suspicion.
Hueso pulled out a pizza cutter from his apron, bedazzled with gemstones. “It seems like su hermano gave it back after all. It almost feels better- as if it was polished.”
Leo’s jaw dropped. He gave it back? The blue-masked turtle couldn’t fathom why he’d do that, especially since Purple had been so adamant about not talking to him. Why hadn’t he just told him he was planning on returning it? Why hadn’t he said anything at all?
“See? I knew he wasn’t all bad,” Mikey said with a proud smile. “He reminds me of you, Leo.”
“Wha- How?!” Leo sputtered. “I am nothing like him!”
“You both got this tough guy act,” Mikey explained, emphasizing his point with various hand gestures, “but you also both got a heart of gold underneath all that sass.”
Leo rolled his eyes. “Har-har. Let’s get home before Dad and Raph start to worry,” he said, picking up the box and his ōdachi as he began to head out, waving goodbye to the bone yōkai. Mikey hurried beside him, holding his now colorful menu.
They exited the restaurant and entered the alleyway that they had exited earlier. Leo used his ōdachi to create a portal once more, this time leading to their home beneath the bustling city of New York. Mikey entered first, disappearing behind the swirling blue matter that compromised it. Still, Leo lingered behind for a moment longer, lost in his thoughts.
Maybe Mikey was right, and Purple wasn’t that bad of a turtle. He might’ve just been misguided, led astray by his no-good father. Maybe underneath that ugly, scarred skin was a turtle with a good heart. Or maybe Mikey’s optimism was finally wearing off on him.
Leo made a choice as he entered the portal back to the sewers. Purple was just as young as he was. As evil as he acted, there could still be a chance that deep down- very, very deep down- there might be a turtle that hadn’t been touched by Draxum’s harsh words and criminal schemings. And even with just that shard of hope that was stuck under the skin of his heart, he could feel that there was still a chance to save him. Mikey was undoubtedly more passionate about it, but it was a start.
Purple may have been raised by Draxum in a harsher world than Leo would ever even want to try and imagine, but he still shared the same flesh and bone as Leo and the rest of his brothers. And no matter what happened, no matter what they all got themselves into, and no matter who or what stood between them, that couldn’t and wouldn’t ever change.

ok look. we all know Michael Afton was the head of the mean girls. like. come on. So essentially I've made myself a mean girls au except it's Jeremike. And good 👍.
So obviously Mike as Regina George. He's the head honcho, the popular one, the bitch. He's got all the social power in the highschool.
Bonnie Mask (James) as Gretchen Wieners. He's Mike's confident and knows pretty much everything about everyone. School gossip. If you want information, go to James- but it'll cost you.
Freddy and Chica Mask (Matthew and Taylor) as Karen. I forgot her last name oops. Except they're not as stupid and actually do things. Matthew is the support, the muscle. He's not very academic but he can hold his own in a fight. Taylor is the money. They've got daddy's money and can buy practically anything. The way to find Taylor is by following where the designer goes.
And Jeremy as Katy Harris. The new kid in school. A bit weird, optimistic, a social outcast. He's a novelty. A new person in small town Hurricane? Unthinkable. Obviously, Michael wants him in his group since it wouldn't do to let another friend group take an object of social focus.
They start hanging out together during school, and Jeremy finds that he's actually pretty happy with his new friends. They're not as stuck up and mean as the whole school wants him to believe. They're just a couple of highschool kids who goof off during class and simultaneously have everybody's eyes on them at all times.
Michael finds himself softening around Jeremy, something he really only does when not around people. The others tease him about it, but Taylor slips him their credit card and tells him to take Jeremy somewhere nice.
Of course, Mike isn't one to back down from a challenge. He's embarrassed, mortified even, but he plays a cool face and asks Jeremy out.
Jeremy immediately walks face first into a wall and starts stammering, completely red in the face. Mike just sighs and is like "I can't believe this is the dude I'm asking out. he's such a dork."
Jeremy eventually squeaks out a yes and Michael pulls some suave move that has Jeremy physically melting into a puddle.
Inside Michael is literally on fire. Like he's so embarrassed. He's not actually that flirty what does he think he's doing? Anyway he leans down and whispers in Jeremy's ear to meet him after school, just the two of them, and Jeremy nods.
The tormentors are like "bro what the hell was that. what the fuck. you're so cringe dude." And Michael's like giggling and twirling his hair all like "shut uuuupp guyssss hehehehehe"
And then a couple months after they start dating it's obviously become public knowledge. One person planned on asking Michael out and James and Matthew very unquietly informed them that Michael was in fact taken (Matthew cracking his knuckles for emphasis) and it quickly spread around the school.
(Mike isn't rly mad tho, cuz he gets to show off his awesome and cringe boyfriend)
Then someone gets jealous and tries doing something to break them up, and the tormentors go absolutely feral. Like rabid dog feral. Jeremy gets to witness firsthand why they got their reputation (since they've all gotten a little soft being around Jeremy, he's just that cool) and he's just kinda like "wow that was hot ur beating someone up for me 😳" and they're just like "dude literally raise your standards just a bit higher please"
anyway i love this AU even tho I'll probably never touch it again :)

Synopsis: Between the middle ages and early industrial eras of human history, piracy was the most revolutionary business to save souls from the clutches of slavery, taxing economies, and oppressive kingdom structures. The last bastion of hope for those who would have nothing left to fend for themselves. Such was the business carried on by generations of the Grayson bloodline, circa 1300s A.D. Europe. Richard John "Dicky" Grayson grew up an aspiring aerialist, as opposed to being optimistic about the chance to see the seven seas from aboard a water vessel. He read stories of the greats: Sir Francis, Blackbeard, and even some tragic lores like that of Davey Jones (which he thought to be nothing more than fantasy). Outside of these romantic fantasies, he, as well as his illegitimately married parents, John and Mary, lived their entire lives in a gang of outcasts, led by one Sir Haly; a once respectable socialite praised by the British Army and the elites which they served, whose tastes for the unusual, unexplained, and otherworldly things did not sit well with the King, who sought to make Gotham prime territory for the beginning of western colonial expansion.
For you see, Sir Haly's Circus practiced, unlawfully, as a safe haven for runaway slaves and indigenous folk seeking refuge. Haly was cast out by a supposed polite society, but knew if he could turn a sense of profit out of making refugees into showmen, he'd have enough shilling for eventual provisions of equity for those to whom he gave asylum. Not to mention, pirates would also be looking to him for resources, albeit, humans to traffic. Dicky didn't take well to certain aspects of this culture. So he got wise one day, taking a heavy sack of loot from his family's ring leader while he slept, and by morning one fateful spring day, he bribed a sailor for his ship.
Thus, The Nightwing's first voyage began. He woke up the whole circus of urchins, commanding them to haul ammunition, liquor, food, herbs, cutlery, and even a risky theft of local guard armory cannons and firearms onto the boat. The Graysons were the most worrisome about Dicky's plans, alongside Sir Haly of The Narrows, to whom Dicky would bestow first mate responsibility. The three were of the last standing in concern and trivial thought over the matter before a unit of Royal Navy opened fire in the public, John and Mary hopelessly in the crossfire. Haly had been fatally shot in a calf, limping on his way aboard the vessel. Dick had no choice but to flee, in spite of the tears raining over his cheeks in a look of absolute uncertainty. This was not what he had hoped for.
The Haly's crew set a course for Blüdhaven, a town of natives and refugees alike, not yet eyed for conquest by the Navy, where they might find the means for an expansion of the crew, as well as safe passage within the rivers of the Americas, most of which had been taken over by the British Navy. The crew would rest, recuperate, and hope to set sail for plunder beyond the colonized territories that were vastly becoming the last places their kind would be in before dying. But if the Royal Navy wants to stand in the way, then the blood of the King's men shall be the price to pay, for Dicky's loss, as well as for the suffering his Haly's family went through.

Indulge me in angiekork, tell me how it be cause I'm interested now
I sat on this ask out of embarrassment for like three weeks I am so sorry AS MUCH AS I LOVE TALKING ABOUT THEM I GET SO SHAMEFUL ABOUT IT AAAH THEY MEAN SO MUCH TO ME. I’m so glad you’re interested 😭 I think their potential dynamic is SUCH a tragic missed opportunity they could’ve had in the games HOLLA!!!!!
Here’s a comprehensive list that I love revising every time I send someone it, enjoy my brain worms!!! This time with doodles attached :]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He’s a literal anthropologist and obsessed with other cultures, and Angie is the only foreigner in the entire class, with some absolutely BATSHIT culture; it only makes sense that Korekiyo would (or should’ve) take an immediate interest in her, with a notepad in hand.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kiyo has his sister’s voice in his head. Angie has Atua’s voice in her head. (whether they’re both alters or tulpas or just delusions--they’re very similar) They both grew up lonely (Angie stated she was in her freetime events, and Kiyo ONLY had his sister...and we know what happened to her) and had to cope in EERILY similar / same ways; being that both of these “voices” were formed as a way to deal with said loneliness. They would ABSOLUTELY understand each other in this regard if they were to properly get to know each other. (Kodaka knew they’d be too powerful if they interacted and that’s just the cold-hard truth)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Either way I really don’t think Kiyo would dismiss Angie’s Atua ramblings as a crazed religious nutjob, like the rest of the class does, but as a curious case of what the mind does to cope, AND as someone he can relate to.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dynamic of two generally creepy characters who are both painfully NOT self-aware AT ALL. Absolute outcasts in their class and likely able to be the only ones to truly “understand” each other as stated previously. Both absolute wildcards; unpredictable in their own ways. Angie wants to steal everyone’s blood, Korekiyo wants to steal everyone’s nerves, it all works out!! Also dynamic of Tall And Stoic And Kinda Mean™️ and Short And Bubbly And Optimistic™️. AS WELL as the dynamic of Fucked Up™ and Cinnamon Roll™. They are simultaneously opposite’s attract AND very similar in that they are both self-unaware ritual/seance creeps that no one else wants to hang out with due to being terrified of them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Going off the stories in his freetime events and how much insane things he’s done and experienced just for the hell of it, as well as his (technically non-canon) actions in the manga where he just goes along with whatever people say to do just for the experience alone;; (AS WELL AS HIS LOVE HOTEL EVENT LITERALLY JUST BEING “OUT OF CURIOSITY”) -- he would absolutely delve facefirst into Angie’s eccentric culture; going along with any of its rituals and practices, initially just to study it but with his picture perfect memory of a specific seance circle…he’d surely stick around. Shoutout to blood cults!!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kiyo sees the beauty in all people, despite how “ugly their actions and existences as a whole may be – Angie, through God, says everyone deserves forgiveness and grants that forgiveness immediately. Kind of a matching theme of looking past people’s flaws not in a “I’m choosing to ignore it” way but in a “that makes you the beautiful person you are” way I suppose!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Going with the commonly accepted idea that Kiyo was abused by his sister, and Angie just wants to make everyone happy and has a certain natural charisma to her, able to comfort basically anyone as we saw in the game;; – she would absolutely try her damndest to help him through his trauma. She has very unconventional ways of getting him to cheer up, yet with how inquisitive he is of all human behaviors, nothing she does would ever fail because she’s just so damn weird and interesting; really gets the anthropology gears turning in his head.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I KNOW I JUST POSTED ABOUT IT HAHA AND IT’S WHAT MY ANIMATIC IS ABOUT BUT In a postgame VR AU where they’re all alive, Korekiyo would eventually try to recover from said trauma, leading to him apologizing to Angie for killing her; which she’d genuinely forgive immediately because of her religion and ideals, + she’d understand everything he went through as well and why he did it due to her extremely nurturing personality. Fun angst and comfort to be had there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The idea alone of Angie being the only one not scared of Kiyo in the class and he’s kinda like “how do I deal with this” because none of his threats of nerve-tearing affect her, and he ends up being scared of her in return. Powerful. Effervescent. The other day my buddy said Kiyo is scared of Angie in the same way an elephant is scared of a mouse and I haven’t stopped thinking about it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ON THAT SAME THOUGHT he would end up giving up any threats to scare her off and just kinda lets her do whatever, he will threaten to murder someone if they look at him funny, meanwhile Angie’s just crawling all over him like a monkey trying to do a TikTok trend and he’s like “this is fine actually I’m used to it.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This fanfic that lives in my head rent-free where Kiyo casually gives blood sacrifices to hear about Angie’s culture.

So you all probably remember my silly little swap AU, and while I am pretty satisfied with Uzi/U’s place in the narrative, I wasn’t really satisfied with N/Nexter’s role, since I basically made him an Uzi 2.0 but with N’s personality. That’s gotten kind of boring for me, but luckily, I can just change bad ideas, so have an updated, slightly more fun take on Nexter.
My main retcon is that Nexter isn’t Kahn’s kid anymore. He doesn’t have daddy issues. Or a dad. Or a mom. Or any record of being part of Copper 9’s colony pre-murder drone reckoning. Where tf did this kid even come from anyway?
Yup, Nexter’s an orphan. He was separated from his parents during one of the attacks on another neighboring colony (said parents were then killed), and ended up stumbling into Copper 9, where he was taken into foster care for the kids who also lost their parents/guardians. Everyone thinks he’s kind of weird and due to the lack of records, Nexter is never taken in by anyone, and basically becomes the WDF’s ward. He’s given proper education and a place to live, but he never really gets a family. He’s put in the WDF trainee program alongside Jay and Vee, but the other teens usually push him away or are outright mean to him.
But like his canon disassembly drone counterpart, it takes a little more than constant shit-talking and getting picked on to keep Nexter down. He’s a very bright, optimistic kid and an absolute angel to those who do bother to get to know him. Basically, N and Nexter are the same in personality, but Nexter doesn’t have murderous tendencies or a body count. He does, however, have a knack for building weapons, and personally thinks that the bunker needs more than just doors to protect the worker drones, and builds the railgun to pitch to the WDF as a possible means of defense.
The pitch gets Nexter laughed off the stage before he even has the chance to share it to his class, and the WDF and his fellow trainees are equally rude about it. Nexter is understandably hurt by this, but he’s also mildly frustrated. Both because the doors won’t hold forever, and because he worked really hard on the railgun. Why can’t anyone just give him a chance to be helpful?
Nexter gets his chance, thanks to a cruel prank pulled by the other trainees that ends with him trapped outside Copper 9. Naturally, he panics, desperately banging on the door and begging to be let back inside, but when his pleas are met with silence, he decides that this is fine. If the WDF won’t listen to him, then he’ll make them listen. The murder drone’s corpse spire isn’t too far away; perhaps he can show them what it can really do…
That choice brings him to U, another, equally-outcasted loner, and Nexter manages to knock her offline and scramble her vision. Mistaking him for another disassembly drone, U’s demeanor doesn’t change, but Nexter is able to talk to her, and points out the suspicious choices of her human managers and her existence. U gets knocked back online, and follows Nexter back to the bunker. Everyone flees while U raises hell, but before Nexter can escape, the door is closed on his face, locking him in the hallway with U. Once again abandoned, alone and humble enough to admit that his own actions caused all this, Nexter is willing to let U kill him. Oddly, U’s unable to find it in herself to kill this sad, pitiful, maybe-just-as-lonely-as-her worker drone, and spares him when her other teammates, L and T, show up. U gets injected with the virus and is left to die, and while Nexter knows U just killed a bunch of people he has zero emotional connection to, he feels an odd sense of kinship with the disassembly drone, and decides to save her.
U is critical of Nexter’s judgement of character, but his genuine kindness ends up winning her over and the two form an alliance to stop L and T from killing everyone else. The adrenaline causes Nexter to finally open up and demand to know exactly what he did to make everyone hate him and treat him so differently. When no one gives him a proper answer, Nexter decides to leave with U, the only person who seems to actually like him. No one tries to stop him, adding even more salt to the wound, but he tries to not let that get to him.

Hey I just recently found your Dragonets of Despair au and it’s really cool! I have a few questions to ask if you wouldn’t mind answering. The first two are a little more spoilery so feel free to skip those.
1. Do any of the dragonets other than Tsunami get redeemed? I’m guessing Clay probably will since he seems to be the least bad of them and understand their faults. But what about Starflight, Sunny and Glory/Flare?
2. For Queen Scarlets champion is it the same dragon as the animus that helped her create it? If so that means her champion is an animus and since Stonemover and I’m pretty sure Turtle are rule out, that only leaves Darkstalker and Jerboa III as living animuses. Is it one of them?
3. Finally the Sandwing sisters. Are they any different at all or are they the same in this au?
Thanks!
First of all, I'm super surprised people are still finding out about my AU (considering it was made about a year ago?) !! I'm really happy you liked it!
1. Tsunami and Clay definitely get redeemed so ill get that out of the way. Glory/Flare is a character i love to explore in my mind and I like to think she has an arc where she accepts her true self but still has some trouble grappling with it at the end. Something major like lying to yourself for the first years of your life don't go away in a matter of weeks/months. I've thought about her meeting Peril and seeing how she's an outcast from the Sky Kingdom despite Peril being a skywing and all. And Glory getting so confused by how Peril is so optimistic even though her own (superior) tribe abandoned her. Also the juxtaposition of cheery Peril + cynical yet smug Glory haha. I think it would be really funny
Honestly Starflight gets the short end of the stick here. I really think he dies or suffers a tragic end. He's really creepy even though he's instrumental in being the voice of reason (he can literally see the future so he keeps them out of trouble half the time). I also dont like how he fell for Sunny (his adoptive sister) in the original haha. Sunny will not get with him not matter what, although that doesn't stop her from using him to get what she wants.
As for Sunny I see her realising how horrible shes been to Starflight and confessing all her lies to Starflight right as the volcano blows up. Like "I'm sorry i did this and i need to tell you the truth so i can stop leading you on" yeah Starflight gets super pissed and fights her after that lol. Does that count as a redemption arc? For sunny at least
2. I kept this a secret for so long but tbh no one can really guess it. It's Orca. But she shows up as a fake SkyWing champion at first, as a dragon named Spinel. I gave her a whole arc and everything. Basically she got found out as an animus pretty early on by Coral and she was used as a negotiating tool in the SandWing war. She grew tired and defected to the Sky Kingdom, where she believes she's more free there than in the Sea Kingdom. Although tsunami does tell her Orca's not as free as she thinks she is, Orca still says that as long as you're an animus, you will always be working for somebody's benefit in some way no matter what. Kind of a sad situation but hey
Looking back at this it was kinda dumb but i had a lot of fun writing it 💀
3. I have honestly not touched them because i love them the way they are.
Sorry if the answers weren't what you were expecting. I wrote a lot of the initial story in a google doc and i returned to it while answering this ask. I forgot how fun that was, might draw them again someday. Thanks for asking!

Mirabel Madrigal: Hogwarts AU
Tumblr media
Mirabel Madrigal is a Half-Blood Squib that was born on the 6th of March 1972 and would have started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1983.
Mirabel often shows a free-spirited and optimistic demeanor; despite being the only Madrigal grandchild without magic and an outcast by her family, she is still very much sociable and friendly to those around her. Lacking magic of her own, she admires her relatives and hold them in high regard. Her status as a Squib also does not hinder her from getting along with most of her relatives: having a very close bond with her cousin Antonio, comforting him when he needs it. At the same time, he admires her and sees her more as a sister than his cousin. She also is humble and honest, admitting easily that she and her father are both accident-prone. On top of this, Mirabel appears confident as she claims that she does not need magic to make herself happy and that she is just as special as everyone else in her family.
Despite seemingly living life happily without any magic of her own, Mirabel is very much insecure over the fact that she cannot contribute the same way her relatives do. The worst part of not being a witch is being looked down by Abuela Alma and viewed as a nobody in her own family. As she cannot relate with her magical relatives, she is lonely and feels disconnected from them. Ultimately, her greatest wish is nothing more than to be fully included in the family even if she doesn't have magic. In her pursuit to find answers behind the dark magic in Hogsmead, she is shown to be very persistent as she continually followed Luisa while she was running her errands and pestered her until her sister confesses her problems. She also insisted that Bruno conjure another vision of the future, despite him being uncomfortable with the idea of it. Later on, Mirabel persisted on reconciling with Isabela by embracing her, and while Isabela is talking about her self-expression and freedom, Mirabel attempts to rush the reconciliation process, but stopped and she eventually helps her sister embrace her true self and they both shared a genuine hug in the family mansion.
While searching for answers on the prophecy her uncle made, Mirabel discovers how much stress each of her family members are under as a result of the expectations set upon themselves, which they hide behind effortless façades. She helps to give voice to her family's problems through her compassion and helps them understand that they are valuable as they are, not because of their magic. This allows Mirabel to relate to her family members in ways she could not previously do, thus allowing her to form stronger bonds with them. Mirabel was visibly worried after Luisa reveals her insecurities and the pressure that she was under to meet their family's expectations of her, hugging Luisa to comfort her and telling her that she thinks she carries "way too much". She shows her concern several times for her sister when Luisa is in a state of depression over losing her magic. She also showed compassion to her uncle Bruno upon learning his sad upbringing and assured him his visions don't make him a bad man. When the family comes together to rebuild the Madrigal mansion, Mirabel reassures her family that they are more than just their magic.
While Mirabel greatly respects Abuela as the Head of the Improper Use of Magic Department and the matriarch of the Madrigal family, she is unhappy with the fact that Abuela mistreats her for being a Squib and frequently disallowing her from participating in familial activities. After learning the truth about her uncle's prophecy and trying to tell Abuela about it, Abuela was quick to lash out at Mirabel for "hurting the family" because she was jealous of their magic, which greatly hurts Mirabel. Finally fed up with this treatment, Mirabel stands up to Alma and defends her family by saying that she had always seen her as a disappointment and that no one would ever be good enough for her or her expectations, even with magic and how Bruno really left because she always saw the worst in him, accusing her grandmother of not caring about them. After the destruction of the Madrigal mansion, Mirabel and Abuela have a heart-to-heart conversation away from the family. Though Abuela admits that she had lost sight of what was truly important in her life: her family, and not the magic they possess; Mirabel, after learning of Abuela's trauma, maturely understood her actions better. Mirabel saw how broken her grandmother was, and forgave Abuela while lifting her spirits by reminding her how she was strong in leading a department by herself at the ministry and raising her children despite the tragedy she endured. The two then reconciled and mended their relationship. Now, Mirabel is genuinely more confident in her worth, finally seen as an equal in her family.

World Building Wednesday!~ Etherium
🌼 I decided to share one of my AU worlds that is not Fell based. Yes... I know... what is the world coming to? Etherium in essence is my stab at an Outertale based universe though the story and the designs are very different. I really enjoy this one though I don’t talk about it too much. Let’s get started!
Etherium AU
Classification: Outertale Alternate “Nicknames” Info:
Tumblr media
Sans: Nova- Nova is the trickster though he is mostly associated with that of Loki. Loki is described specifically as “Playful, malicious ( ok maybe not that one), helpful, and nihilistic.” He helps others in a kind of goofy over the top way. He just doesn’t take much seriously. Nova is one of the youngest. He acts very childish at times coming to question how long he has been among the pantheon. Some argue his many centuries gave him a nihilistic outlook on life or that he is too young to understand the true ways of the world.
Not to say that Nova can’t be serious but he is pretty laid back. It’s one of the reasons unlike the others he doesn’t really keep his cultural ties in his design. He should have more Norse in it but nah… varsity jackets are cozy right? I mean he is wearing star shorts for stars sake. When asked about his job he mentions, “Hey, there kiddo. Nice of ya to drop by. Been up to? Heh well got a “new” job which is pretty cool. Not as cool as Pollux but I help arrange stars. Ya know, like the ones you see in the sky you can make pictures out of? I think you humans call em… constellations. One time I made this giant whoopee cushion one. “Then I lost ma job. Got a second chance though. Andromeda's constantly watchin me. hehe no harm done though.”  Both Pollux and Nova refer to each other as brothers but it is unclear if they are biologically related. Their abilities and strengths are nearly opposite and their mythos even more so.
Tumblr media
Papyrus: Pollux- The presumed older brother of Nova. Pollux is associated with Egyptology specifically wisdom. Pollux tends to be the opposite of Nova in that he takes his job very seriously. Once on earth he was known as Thoth gracing humanity with a mechanical and architectural knowledge that astounded the world. His mind and intellect put him at the forefront of innovation making him one of Capricorn's best and most trusted advisors.
He enjoys testing the mental prowess of others using puzzles and riddles of his own design. Unlike canon Pap Pollux cares more about balance in life. Something his younger brother seems to lack. Not all work and not all play. He is kind, helpful, and willing to give advice to anyone that is looking for it. To the little human Frisk he is a good mentor and teacher. (Pollux has made it his pastime to create a series of challenges to prove a humans worth. If they pass then they are able to speak/ see them. No one has managed to prove themselves.)
(more characters and info below the cut)
Undyne: Andromeda- Andromeda is not different from canon Undyne as she embodies the Mayan mythology. She is mostly closely associated with the feathered serpent Quetzalcóatl. A deity of wind and rain. Also known as the life giver. Though Andromeda tends to harken back to her more aggressive roots she has a deep respect for the King and acts as his guard. Just like Pollux she too acts as an advisor, though more on matters of security than strategy or mechanics. Such a position is where she first met Elara and to this day the two are inseparable sharing their very different cultures. Her favorite kind of anime to watch are mech based.
Alphys: Elara- Very similar to canon Alphys just as this version of Undyne is. Alphys is based off of Sukuna-Biko-Na (少名毘古那) or the shinto god of medicine and rain. Elara is still very much a scientist and one that has a unique fascination with living things. Everything from the planets, to humans, animals, and plant life. She particularly enjoys spending time in her private greenhouse creating and taking care of all of the plant life. Before the monsters were forced to leave their place among the humans she was able to collect all the DNA of the plants and animals on the planet.
They are stored in a kind of ark in which to preserve them if anything threatens their existence. Elara is very traditional in her work as her medicines are derived from her magic as well as herbal substances. She is very curious however as she is not allowed to interact with the progress of humanity but rather watches from afar. This is where her love of anime takes hold. Her favorites are ones like Sailor Moon or any type of magical girl anime. She will sit with Andromeda and watch them for hours. Her demeanor is very shy at first but once she opens up she will be a friend for life.
Asgore: Capricorn- The head of the cosmic pantheon he is the King as he is in the original. He is associated with Celtic mythos though he has taken on many pantheon roles in his lifetime. Ambisagrus, a god of thunder and lightning, Ancestor God, Sky God, God of Wind, Rain & Hail is what he is based off of. One such role is that of Zeus who’s main symbol is that of lightning and thunder. Just like the Zeus of mythology Capricorn is constantly debating his involvement with humanity.
Whether that be to stop their technological advances or aiding in their lives. A large portion of his time was spent with his subjects not so much his wife Aurora who is the jealous type. Capricorn is not a ruthless leader but he does know that sometimes hard decisions must be made. Just like UT Asgore he is kind and benevolent, however, he has a temper if you make him angry enough. His magical abilities lean more toward lighting then fire but he has that ability as well. He tasked Elara to watch over human development should a problem arise.
Toriel: Aurora- The Queen to Capricorn she is known to be easily jealous. It would explain why Zeus wife Hera also shares these traits. Her Gaelic deity tie is that of Arianrhod a goddess of the moon and stars. She creates life from the stars she creates sometimes causing them to take a form of their own. They are almost like living constellations. Some say that the Queen made such life to combat her own loneliness which her Son and Husband spent time away. In addition to the stars she is also known for being a loving mother and caregiver. In her time on earth she used to watch over and protect children and their families. Aurora though previously jealous of her simple in the universe has come to accept and embrace it. She is kind but rather over protective. Anyone that forsakes life will feel her wrath.
Muffet: Umbra- Umbra is associated with Hindu mythology as a goddess of wealth and prosperity. Though earthly riches do not concern Umbra she still has a taste for the fine silks and gold that she once had on earth. A little about the goddess that she represents: Lakshmi's name comes from the Sanskrit word laksya, meaning an aim or goal. She is the goddess of wealth and prosperity, both material and spiritual. Unlike UT Muffet, Umbra also focuses on a spiritual wealth. A peace of mind.
She is ever the optimist even when things do not turn out to go her way. In times of need she is called those in the struggles of self worth trying to bring them into a different understanding. There have been many a time when Umbra calms Capricorns quick and rash judgements, much to Auroras displeasure. Just as with the rest of the pantheon she is kind and helpful even with her yearning to return to the people she so loved before they were forced to the outskirts of the galaxy.
Grillby: Helio- Helio derived from sun is my OT Grillby. He out of all the characters could care less about either being a deity or an observer. He is known to be at a middle ground. He would rather live his days running a social establishment but during his time on earth he was known for his magic. Originally he was the right hand of Capricorn being depicted as a war deity for his fiery nature. He was the general of grand armies. His armor is something he hung up long ago but if called into court he will wear it once again. It’s design is very reminiscent of Roman centurions.
Though depictions of him are curious since his name back then was referred to as Merlin. He was best known for him magic and alchemy and the concoctions he made during a period of time far lacking in imagination. Just like Nova, Helio, tended to interfere far too often in the affairs of man though noble in purpose. He tends to be outcast among the pantheon for his past conduct but he is content in his lab mixing crazy concoctions. Everything from love potions to disguises. His forte is all about alchemy and magic.
Asriel: Azicree (Azi)- Azicree or Azi for short is the Crown Prince. By monster standards Azi is still very young, however, he has lived for far longer than any human can fathom. His mother used to shelter him until he begged for his father to let him prove himself. He still acts like a child always curious and desiring some form of exploration. Much to Capricorns dismay Azi enjoys spending time with Nova and the two become pranksters in general. He tends to not do as he is told, which is why they are in this mess in the first place. His reckless behavior had him appearing to a human that begged for his salvation.
The matters of life and death are ones that are not to be messed with. Those that do find their souls being tainted for all eternity turning them into something other than just a monster. 9X is an example of such tampering. Azi does learn his lesson and begins to try and shape up to be a worthy successor to his father if such a thing ever did come to pass. He studies off of all those he knows especially Pollux who is more than happy to share such knowledge. His associations are non existent since he was born after the times of gods. His abilities seem to be mimic based.
He is able to learn about abilities and use them at will. It is rare that monsters have children and as such Azi is the little prodigy child even though there are many times he just wants to be a kid. He makes friends with Frisk very quickly and learn a lot from the human visitor.
Gaster: Nero is the Gaster of this universe. He is Capricorns pantheon counterpart. In essence the Hades to his Zeus. He is the monster that everyone thinks about when darkness takes hold. He is the one that associates with apocalyptic events such as ragnarok. He is however not evil by any stretch of the imagination. He would be better suited to be called a god of chaos. He tends to reject the laws placed upon the rest of the pantheon regardless of repercussions.
It’s speculated that both Pollux and Nova were a part of him and crafted into the monsters that are known today. Nova being his more devious side which Pollux is more his intellect and drive. He has been locked away for a very long time in a prison aptly named Tarturus. His abilities are space and time oriented very similar to Nova which makes him difficult to imprison. He of course has been in his cell for quite some time and it is unclear if he actually has had a change of heart or using it as a manipulation tactic.
The only one he speaks with on occasion is Azi wanting to learn more about this planet they all used to call home. It is information that the others tend to not speak of. His father more so as he is afraid it will instill a yearning in his son. Nero’s genius is on par with his godly abilities such as creating artificial intelligence. Something that is not considered life. He uses Azi as a template for this new program...
Tumblr media
FLOWEY:
F- Friendly
L- Life-like
O- Operating system
W- With
E- Earthbound
Y- Yearning
Tumblr media
F.L.O.W.E.Y was created by 9x and Nova with Azi as a template. He is a charismatic AI who was originally created as a helper as well as to teach the Prince about their planet of origin. Unfortunately Flowey does not have the same reservations about disobeying his father as Azi does. Even going so far as to integrate with key and vital systems in The Capital. He even manages to intercept a human vessel that he finds exploring. Flowey is not evil he just is driven to be the best help he can without regards to any type of consequences. He helps Frisk meet and learn more about their existence. He acts as a companion.
However when Frisk becomes friends with Azi Flowey's AI goes haywire. He begins to feel emotions he is not technically allowed to such as jealousy. This causes him to try and eliminate those threatening him which in this case would be all the monsters. Eventually Azi attempts to program himself into the interface changing it’s initial programming.

Background and Context:
A long time ago there lived beings of great power. They could bend space and time with a simple thought and bring life to their creations. These were the gods. Ones of great benevolence but also great and terrifying power. Humanity, a primitive race just starting to understand life itself, became their focus. At first their interaction was very rare only occasionally appearing to help but as time went on those interactions became more drastic. Their assistance and knowledge was seen as godlike to this humans.
They would bring gifts and offerings to their new deities in hopes that they would look favorably upon them. That they would impart their wisdom and magic if they were pleased. In time this became more and more tradition. A religion built upon pleasing these deities so that their lives would be far improved but this became a conundrum for the beings. Some remained benevolent and helpful while others becomes greedy and wrathful. The power began to go to their minds corrupting their souls. These instances were written down in variation by the humans making up grandiose stories of fiery chariots and jealous gods. Thus mythology came into being for humanity. A way to explain the things in which they did not understand.
As with each religion and deity the monsters each became associated with a specific culture or mythos. Some being pinnacles of their pantheon and others being lesser deities molded to suit a specific task. These monsters rarely interacted with ones of their own kind but as power shifted some of them took on roles of others. One monster could have been the god of war in Greek mythos but end up also as the god of thunder in Norse. There were no limitations to their influence. One such “deity” was that of the trickster. A monster that tended to be rather childish in his ambitions jumping from pantheon to pantheon looking to lighten up his other “deities” stern demeanors.
The monsters began to pull away leaving their presences in name only and occasional help but this was short lived. It caused problems, war, destruction, and feuding powers sadly began to use their civilizations as almost pawns. Their meddling almost destroyed that which they wanted to originally protect. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The “gods” faded from existence only being remembered in myths and legends. The great prophecy of the Norse. The architectural marvels of the Egyptians. Now they reside in the furthest reaches of the galaxy. They spread out among the stars but a group of them resided in a Capital of sorts. A station at the edge of the Universe. One which no human could ever reach.
Tumblr media
The Humans Impressions:
When the monsters left the humans to their own devices they worship continued long after. Eventually the magic and the miracles that had once been performed faded into history. The monsters were all but forgotten unless mentioned in mythology or scary stories. The humans never harbored any animosity toward them since they no longer believed in their existence in any form. They only understand what their ancestors depicted them as. The monsters as well don’t really have anything against humans either. All in all, they just go about their jobs and enjoy the universe, helping from time to time discreetly if need be but never showing their faces.

Main Plot Synop:
The plot to Outertale is very simple as it is more based around the world than it is the actual plot. It is very similar to that of the regular UT timeline with some notable differences. Once the humans reach an age of technological advancement they begin to spread out and search the stars. Some of them encounter monsters which they mistake for aliens (hilarious enough. I mean Jerry looks like an alien.) They begin to build colonies living more and more outside the reach of their own galaxy. Humans however tend to turn on their own creating factions within the space colonies. Some more prosperous than others.
Frisk’s colony was one such beast being cut off from the other colonies as a drifter. Unfortunately Frisk’s family was nearly non existent and being stuck on a space colony was little to be desired. After seeing a streak of fire slamming into the outskirts of the colony. Frisk decides to investigate. They have always been the curious type disobeying orders and questioning everything. The colonies outer and more dangerous regions became their playground finding old pieces of technology. Eventually they stumble upon a crashed ship. One that  It seems to damaged to be used but it’s nothing like they have ever seen before. Everyone else on the colony consider it to be cursed.

The strange runic language is confusing but Frisk finds that there is one lone computer onboard that seems to still function. It flickers with a bright yellow light showing an almost pixelated Flower with a =) face on the screen. Over the next few days Frisk returns to decipher the runes with the help of their new friend which they find out is called Flowey. It is a project that the curious human enjoys and for once it is nice to have a friend. Eventually the runes are deciphered claiming some sort teleportation capability. Once Frisk is close enough the system fires up on its own sending the human straight to the monster Capital on the farthest reaches of the universe. A place that no human has ever been.
The rest of the story is an exploration of this new environment. Frisk befriends the monsters who don’t attack first. They actually mostly want to engage with the human showing off their ability a little bit. A part of them misses the previous worship. Nova seems to take a particular interest in this new human especially when they befriend Azi. They work to help shut Flowey down only for Azi to impart his knowledge on the interface helping it understand. Frisk has nothing to return to so they stay with the monster and become Azi’s human tutor so that one day maybe the monsters can return and live side by side the humans once again. Both Azi and Frisk are almost like siblings coined the star children.

Hooks:
An Anomaly: Few who reside in the Steppe or even those who have visited don't at least hear of the Dotharl. They are the undying ones. Ones who have been reborn anew after a brave, glorious death. They take on their previous name and are raised and trained in a similar manner to their previous life to excel as a warrior of the Steppe. Those who get anywhere near the tribe would hear about one of their own- Aislinne, the anomaly among them. Born without an identifiable soul, she was a scandal among the tribe, and treated as such. That is, until one day a visitor- an outsider in the form of a Viera, paid a visit. Maybe one has heard of such a tale, and are now seeing the rumored Auri woman somewhere on her travels, one caught her visiting the tribe in the Steppe, or maybe you knew her former soul- before, when she was an adventurous Viera by the same name. Traveler, Fighter, and Pure of Heart: It's a tale as simple as any- Aislinne is a fighter, and one who travels around looking for coin to be earned through adventure and mercenary work. Mayhap you need assistance from someone of skills in magic, healing, and blade, or maybe she needs assistance in her own travels, in the form of bed, sustenance, information, coin, or anything else typically wanted by an adventurer. Shirogane Resident: Visiting Shirogane? Maybe you frequent Kugane, or it is your first time touring the city- with her home in the region, it would be likely to find Aislinne somewhere in the area when she isn't on the road! Scholarly Lessons: Aislinne spent a long time among the Students of Baldesion in Old Sharlayan under the care of Krile Baldesion after she had awoken to her new identity. She, too, was curious about the workings of her own soul and the power her Echo contained. Through her time spent in Old Sharlayan, she would spend much time in the libraries.
