Currently reading: Scum Villain Self Saving System [finishing up volume 3]. I've been enjoying this series. Shen Yuan sure does end up in situations

Currently watching: The Apothecary Diaries. I've been going through my list of anime to watch and the last few haven't really clicked with me so I was a little worried starting this one, but I ended up liking it. Interested to see where the story goes!

"You can't possibly think this is appropriate work attire," he said sharply, reaching out towards the choker around mister Gerard Keay's neck with the intention of prodding it with a finger.

He started to, anyway, but Gerard snatched Jon's hand out of the air before it was even halfway there. They both stared at each other from inches away for a long moment, then two. Then Gerard's mouth twisted and he let Jon's hand drop as suddenly as he'd taken hold of it. "Gerry," he said.

"What?"

"My name is Gerry. If you're going to go around poking at me, you could at least use the one I prefer." He raised eyebrows that had clearly held piercings in the past, and gave Jon an appraising look.

Jon sputtered, then paused. "Have you been eavesdropping?" He asked suspiciously. "I did not, in fact, use your name just now."

i think it’s when we finally left the lab and i saw him in something that wasn’t his clean, white orderly clothes.

we had to blend in because brenner and co were looking for him, so i pulled the first thing i saw off a store rack, which was one of those vintage dad sweaters. i laughed and said, without thinking about it, something like “you know, i didn’t realize how old you look until just now.” he frowned and tried to put it back but i told him that i liked it on him.

we’re only a little over ten years apart but i look kind of young so it’s a running joke i have.

the main character punched him for saying they shouldn’t rescue johnny gat, and he says that as they’re helping him up off the ground. and like. even though my s/i would never have punched him in the first place, knowing that’s how he would’ve reacted makes me Feel Things yknow

okay so Dan is a badass character, like he’s nicknamed ‘THE HELLION’ for his calculating shots from his gun/revolver. Like?? That’s SUCH A BADASS NICKNAME??! like?? it’s something that would strike fear in the hearts of the most evil men imaginable!

ALSO LOOK AT THE WAY HE HOLDS HIS GUN

I mean  -  I have strange taste but honestly like?? it exudes not only character, charm and personality but like it’s such a telling pose to tell people that ‘you’re tired of this shit’ but also like??? It’s KINDA HOT?? Like I’m sorry I can’t help but SWOON OVER THIS POSE.

DANNY‘S ONE LINERS- I LOVE THEM

Dan has a few lines in the game especially in regards to the fact that it really isn’t dialogue heavy - and while he is a main-side character but only in the sense that he’s playable and there’s only some side story that’s pretty important to him but after that there’s no real further deep dive. What he does say however is like??? iconic in it own right?? I mean I adore his lines and catchphrases, it builds and gives life to his character and personality - painting a picture of an assassin/hitman who doesn’t GIVE A CRAP. The only thing on his mind is that he’s got a job to do and he’s gonna do it as swiftly and as efficiently as possible.

oh those quotes and one liners?:

 “Wait here.”

“This is too easy.”

"What? Is this a bad time? I hope I'm not interrupting. Or am I?"

and then there are some that make me chuckle cause they are so freaking edgy but at the same time I love it??

"You wanna die?! Huh?!"
