And wants to be his friend so badly!#Kabru also has another great character moment when he immediatly clocks Laios as not being as malicious as expected.#We love a character who can put the clues together! It is such a good subversion of what role we think Kabru is to play in this story!#Now he's eager to befriend Laios - who is barely interested and currently trying to befriend Shuro - who is barely interested and...well.#The painful triangle of people trying to get to know the other person better and being rejected...Friendship triangle.#We have all had a friendship triangle situation before. Right? You guys have also struggled to read people. Right?#Laios is universally relatable. Right?

Autism does not need to come with "exceptionalism" to be accepted.

Autism does not need to come with special skills or talents to be accepted.

Playing into the narrative that autistics have something they can offer to the world, to society, in a form of a special skill in order to make autism more palatable, acceptable, helpful, essentially plays into the notion of an autistic "superpower".

We should be accepting of autism even if it doesn't come with "benefits" to society.

BUT IM JUST THINKING ABOUT IN THE MOMENT OF IT ALL bc in the same chapter #ww asks for a chance for tomorrow and then gets news of earth ships coming. in this same arc vash is thinking of all the things he needs to #resolve so his home doesn't get attacked so the people he love doesn't have to die and the humans he wants to protect gets to live.#i feel like deep down they both semi-recognize that it can't be this easy and regardless of earth ships coming- there's still a wait for #them to arrive and they have to hold out. and regardless ww still has a mission to follow through and vash knows knives would find out #but in that mood of celebration the entire ship brought in - they can at least let themselves relax for a moment and indulge #how they basically engaged with no violence for the few days they were on that ship coaxing them into domesticity... i feel like their #thoughts would wander to somewhere soft and all #allowing them to push aside the tiptoeing and tenseness and be sweet for a night #ruporas art

i think people would stop finding it so shocking when a trans man is misogynistic if they just saw them as men instead of women lol. men are misogynistic sometimes they just do that

#like some of the 'omg look what this trans man said about women' stuff just seems to be w the underlying implication that trans men are #women who identify as men? why else is it so shocking to you that a man said something sexist #even if the argument is 'well they used to be a woman so they should know what it's like' is just untrue. cagab describes a singular moment #in time there's plenty of trans people with no memory of living as their cagab #& pre transition trans people are obviously going to have experiences not at all representative of what most people of their cagab #experience so even for ppl who transitioned later in life their experience of being a 'woman' or 'man' is often gonna be fundamentally #different to the average experience of being a 'woman' or 'man'
