Fire to a Lifeless Heart (Part 1)
Reader X Undisclosed (It’s not Jongup, I promise. NCT is here for a reason)
Info: A gang/mafia AU currently featuring B.A.P and NCT.
Current Warnings: Smut, Trigger Warnings, Graphic at times, many more. 18+.
Part One Contains: No warnings.
Notes (If you read the teaser you kinda have an idea):
B.A.P, a very large and powerful gang, is now in your hands to take care of. You are no longer a Matoki, a well known name given, from other gangs, to the most elusive B.A.P agents. You are the new leader of B.A.P and your current goal is to avenge Yongguk and end the war between B.A.P and NCT, a rival gang, once and for all.
As an additional note, all B.A.P member appearances coincide with their looks (hair, tattoos, etc.) from their MV Skydive while NCT 127 member appearances coincide with their looks from their MV Regular.

"You're next in line."
You ignored Zelo, continuing to stare out of the office window. He sighed behind you. His frustration with you was growing and you knew it. You knew him too well to not notice the slight change in his tone of voice. Yet, you weren't ready to speak after the events from this morning.
"Yongguk would want you to pick up what he left behind."
You flinched. You scolded yourself mentally for showing a brief sign of weakness to him. Zelo immediately pounced at the opportunity upon seeing your shoulders tighten. "You don't have long to act. We're in the middle of a war. Eventually Himchan will be forced to call a meeting and you won't be invited."
You heard him leave after that, closing the office door behind him. Welcome silence cascaded into the room. You sighed heavily allowing your walls to fall if only for these brief moments. You knew what you had to do but you wouldn't be given another moment to mourn Yongguk.
The office still smelled like a mix of his cologne and the sweet-smelling candle occupying a corner of his desk. You were his right hand and you two had only recently become something more. Only five people knew this about you two. Zelo and Himchan were two of them. Youngjae, Daehyun, and Jongup were the other three.
Typically, another family member would take over, specifically a son, but no one else in Yongguk's family was involved in this life anymore and he didn't have a son or a wife. But he had you.
You straightened your white blouse and black pencil skirt before turning around to look at the office the way Yongguk left it one last time. His dark, modern style was something you also liked and appreciated. The dark wood flooring and glass tables complimented each other. The only decoration he had was the candle you gave to him as a gift. Everything else was an office necessity.
You could practically see him sitting there at his leather desk chair, looking at you with a cocked head and raised eyebrows. You shook your head trying to clear your thoughts and looked away, to face the bookcase on the far wall.
You couldn't cry. You weren't allowed the freedom to cry right now. You couldn't let anyone here see you with puffy, red eyes. In their mind, he was your leader and nothing else.
You moved swiftly with a newfound determination and strength. Your black high heels clacked on the floor and your high ponytail swayed freely.
If it's war our rivals, NCT, want then it's a war they will get.
----------
All eyes present were on you at the head of the extremely long black table. Even the elder men at the other end looked at you with a reverence you had only seen them give Yongguk. You were quickly realizing it was a look they reserved for their leader.
Your best and closest men personally, Jongup, Youngjae, Himchan, Daehyun, and Zelo, were currently looking at you with their undivided attention. Zelo and Himchan were the closest to you. Zelo was on your left and Himchan was on your right. Daehyun was seated next to Himchan and Youngjae was next to Zelo. Jongup sat on Youngjae's left.
The other leading agents, all younger than the elders, were looking at you a bit skeptical at first but when you took the time to stare into each man's and woman's eyes, they looked at you without any doubts in theirs.
"You all know why you're here." They nodded in unison. "I'm going to take Yongguk's place with Himchan as my right-hand man and my first action in this war is retaliation for killing Yongguk. However, -" Mouths that were beginning to open closed again at the darkening of your tone, "it will take time to achieve this retaliation because it will bring our rivals to their knees and not cost us any more lives."
Himchan was the first to speak up, "What's your plan, Y/N?"
Murmurs spread around the dozens of people here. You responded immediately, trying to hush them and squash any doubts. "Getting an agent of ours on the inside so they don't have ties to the leader or other NCT members."
Youngjae shifted in his seat. He was the second, only coming after you, go to agent when Yongguk needed someone to blend in but no one had successfully infiltrated NCT before. Your gang had converted people already in NCT, but you've never had someone infiltrate from the bottom up successfully. The members converted were too tied to the NCT members to carry out violent missions against NCT so they always preferred intel work. Therefore, the leader had been nearly untouchable...
"Who do you suggest go on the inside and how do you guarantee their life won't be taken?" Zelo was looking at you with narrowed eyes. He always saw right through you. It was one of the reasons why you were considering making him your second right hand man.
When you didn't respond immediately, the room became eerily silent and Zelo frowned at you, revealing his wariness. "We know our rivals only have males at the highest positions. We have only tried getting a male through our rival's network and even Youngjae couldn't do it. A female may be able to get through the network easier, but she will need to have conviction and be extremely skilled because she will undoubtedly catch their attention." You could almost see Youngjae's gears turning in his head as he looked at you with his mouth beginning to gape open. "Therefore, I suggest I perform this mission."
At first there was silence as everyone processed your proposal. This was the lightning before the thunder. Zelo sighed loudly, shaking his head just before thunder struck.
You heard Himchan over everyone when he spoke. "It's too dangerous for you."
Other comments you heard included, "We need you here!"
"Are you going to seduce everyone?"
"You'll die if you fail and we can't get you out in time."
You banged your fist on the table. The impact was almost loud enough to quiet all of them. "Enough!" Your voice carried over everyone. Their mouths slammed shut, all sensing the dangerous note in your voice. If you hadn't assured them of your authority before, this action did. The look in your eyes and on your face made it clear that you were not taking any bullshit. "We will vote on my proposal after having a civil discussion on it. Got it?" Silent nods answered you and you were able to lean back in your seat again. "Good." You slowly looked toward Himchan. "Himchan?"
He cleared his throat, adjusting the dark blue tie that matched his suit. "You're our leader now. You're a lot less replaceable so going inside our largest and most powerful rivals as an undercover agent is way too risky." He paused for a second. "However, I do have faith in your skill. If you were not chosen by Yongguk as the future leader and I was, I would insist you go."
You nodded to him, grateful for his last few words. "I hear your concern as well but as my designated right-hand man, you will carry out my demands and wishes while I'm not here like you have done before when Yongguk and I weren't able to. You know this business as well as I do so I trust your skill to stand in for me, Himchan, and to take over if I do fail. But I believe I can carry out this mission and I swear I will kill the sniper that murdered Yongguk in his own house and I will kill the leader of NCT to put an end to this war."
Your voice had grown louder with each word and the conviction in your tone sent goosebumps across some of the member's arms. Himchan respectfully inclined his head to you. He was one of the five that understood exactly where this conviction was coming from and he completely respected it now that he heard it in your voice and saw it burning in your eyes.
"How do you plan on advancing in their network and being successful?"
One of the elder men asked this question but you couldn't tell which one it was. You turned to Youngjae. Since he tried infiltrating before, you directed your own question toward him. "Didn't you participate in tests to find out where you should be placed in their network?"
He nodded diligently. "Yes. When you manage to contact them, you tell them you want to convert to their group. They will ask why and where you came from, if you came from anywhere. After that, they will meet you, blindfold you, and take you somewhere to participate in trials that test your skills. Your trials depend on how well you do for certain ones. It's like a game almost. You do well for one you unlock more."
You thanked Youngjae and spoke out toward the elder men. "Considering I am capable of sniping, I'm sure I will advance at least a little further up the ladder after doing these trials."
Youngjae nodded in agreement. He wasn't skilled at sniping but Himchan was your best sniper and he was also nodding in agreement and understanding. Zelo, the best marksman, didn't say or do anything which wasn't helping you acquire support. He just sat there looking at you with a blank expression, quietly listening.
"How are you going to get close enough to the sniper or the leader? The sniper was their best and no one even knows what the leader looks like. Do we even have his name or a name?" Daehyun's cautious and unique approach was valued by everyone. There was a reason he monitored missions more often than participating in them.
You smiled at him. "I might just be a little cocky, but I don't think it will be that hard to catch the sniper's attention once I reveal my skill. If I catch his attention and he's close to the leader then that makes my job easier. If he's not close to the leader then I'll just have to capture the leader's interest."
"And how would you do that?"
You smirked. "I'm sure word would travel about me. It did here."
Jongup spoke to you for the first time since yesterday evening. Your eyes met his piercing brown ones when your head swiveled in his direction. "Are you willing to seduce some of the men, including the leader, if you have to?"
Himchan, Zelo, Daehyun, and Youngjae looked at you now with stoic expressions. Although there was another meaning lying under Jongup's words others wouldn't notice, the physical exchange between the two of you was more readable than a book. It doesn't help that word about you two in the past got out and everyone at the table at least knew you had sex. And a lot of it.
You raised your eyes above his. Once again, your tone of voice darkened to set Jongup in his place. "Yes, I am more than willing to go to those lengths."
It felt like years ago but really it was only a year since you and Jongup shared a bed together for the final time. There was plenty of emotion behind it all but in the end, you both knew you weren't meant for each other in the long run. To this day, thoughts about that last night still make your heart beat a little faster. How could it not?
Jongup was the most dangerous man you ever met. That danger didn't leave the bedroom either. If anything, it became more pressing because both of you were exposed to the other. However, you had the exact opposite reaction of fleeing.
You took his cock any time he wanted you. The current dilation of his pupils only fueled what everyone was reading. It was obvious he wanted you right now after answering his question, a question that was actually a very serious one despite how vulgar it sounded.
"I would do anything it takes to end this war for all of you."
You looked at the five people closest to you. Jongup might not be family to you but he was a part of the group and that's what made him family. You may never stick your neck out for anyone like you would for these men. You would give your life for their safety. Just like Yongguk.
"Are there any more questions?"
Silence.
Himchan spoke, "All in favor of sending her on the mission please raise your hands."
Himchan's hand rose after he spoke. Youngjae's and Deahyun's hands followed. Then Jongup's and finally Zelo's, after much reluctance.
You smiled in triumph as the majority raised their hands. Only a few disagreed but they were greatly outnumbered.
"Congratulations, former Matoki." The eldest man at the other end inclined his head to you respectfully. "Your first quest as our leader is one no one has accomplished before."

Hack This Part 10
A/N: You may or may not know the drill by now, but here it is anyways: this is in 1st POV (like my other stuff), I hope it will be 10 parts (if it isn’t I will make it very clear), and I would also like to clarify that everything written in this story is complete fiction. I didn’t proofread this or have someone else go over it like I typically do, so as mistakes are found I will edit it. Sorry for the long wait, I lost inspiration for this story for some reason but I managed to gain some back to finish it.
Summary: Reina devises a plan to get them both out from the boss’ influence.
Word Count: 3, 952
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9
Bonus Scene
***Warning violence and gore?

Finally, it was done. I had accumulated the necessary funds to free Z from this life, to erase the debt that bound him to the mafia. All that was left to do was actually get it to the boss, with the message of what the money was for. That was going to be the hardest part. There was no way Z would be let go willingly, even if his family’s debt was cleared. They would try to find anything else to get him to stay, threaten him, or kill him if they couldn’t convince him to stay. He needs to disappear once I do this. He won’t ever get to stay in one place again, he’ll be on the run for the rest of his life. This is something that I can do only with his permission.
Hesitantly I step out of my room into the living area, immediately spotting Z slouched over on the couch. I know he wants to be free of this life, but I’m not sure how he’ll react knowing that he finally has an out. Treading softly I make my way over to him, plopping down beside him on the couch. He smiles widely at me, wrapping an arm around me to pull me in close.
“What’s with the face?” Z questions, muting the show on the tv.
I bite my lip, looking away from him for a second before the words come tumbling from my lips. “I did it. There’s enough money to clear your family’s debt.”
    “What?” He asked, freezing.
“I put my hacking to use and gathered enough money to clear your debts. The only problem being is I need your permission to go through with it and send it in to the boss because when I do it, you’re going to have to run. I don’t believe that he’ll-.” I get cut off by his lips on mine.
It was a brief, almost chaste kiss, one that showed his excitement and gratitude. But it also showed that he’d stopped listening about halfway through. With a gentle push, I moved him away from me, earning a confused look.
“It might help if you actually listened and let me finish speaking before you celebrate, Z. This isn’t going to be what you might expect, you know, finally being out of their grasp.”
    “What do you mean?”
“I mean there’s no way they’re going to let you go without a fight! Before I even send in the money, you need to be gone, completely disappeared. A new identity, new appearance, new everything. There’s no telling what they’d try to do to have you stay. So, before I do anything, I need your decision.” My words seemed to stunt the excitement that had been building in his eyes, causing it to fade away.
“What about you?” He asked quietly.
I furrowed my brows at his question. “What about me?”
“In all of this planning about how I need to disappear, you never mentioned anything about you other than sending the money in. Where are you planning to be when all of this goes down?”
I sigh quietly, wishing he hadn’t asked that question. Although knowing him, it was almost inevitable and I really should’ve seen it coming. “I… Have to stay behind. Both of us can’t just disappear, someone needs to be here to maintain a cover. I have to make sure you can get out safely.”
Z jumps to his feet, looking at me like I just said the stupidest thing he’d ever heard. “No! There’s no way in hell I’m letting you do that, Reina. I won’t leave you behind, we leave together or we stay. There is no splitting up. If you think something could happen to me for trying to leave, what do you think they’d do to you for helping me?”
    “I don’t care.”
“Reina, what the fuck? How could you say that? I care about what happens to you, how could you even think I wouldn’t?”
“It’s not that I didn’t think you’d care, I was more hoping you wouldn’t ask.” I mutter, looking away from his searing gaze.
Z scoffs at my response. “You didn’t really think I was that dense did you?”
“No, Z, I don’t think you’re dense. I just… I didn’t want you to realize I wasn’t part of the plan. I knew you wouldn’t agree to it, but there’s no other way.”
“There’s got to be another way. Nothing’s happening until we find a way for both of us to get out.”
Z meant what he said. Nothing happened for weeks, at least, not in regards to getting out from under the thumb of the mafia. Life carried on as it had been, what with Z going back to do work for the boss. It felt like no progress had been made and we were just back to existing. Except this time I knew there was a way out, and it was killing me not to do anything. There was nothing I hated more than feeling like I was at a stand-still, or trapped. Essentially that’s what the situation had become. We were trapped, unable to think of a plan that could free both of us.
Each plan we came up with was flawed, in such a way that only one of us could safely make it out alive. Of course Z preferred to stay right where we were if it meant I’d be safe, this did not suit me at all though. He thought I didn’t see it- the pain in his eyes, the hatred he felt for himself burning like an all-consuming fire. This pain, this hate, was brought on by the work he was forced to do. Everytime he came back, sometimes with little bits of blood on his clothes, I could tell how much he abhorred it. There was only so much I could do, short of turning in the entire operation to the authorities, which Z wouldn’t let me do.
His rationale is that we have friends within that are doing good things. To a point I can agree with him, as I’ve gone through the files so I know that the majority of people taken out have done some despicable things. But this also raises the question of what makes this group any different from those they kill? Are they better because they only kill those deserving of it? If so then that brings up that, by their own logic, eventually they too will be taken out due to their misdeeds and criminal actions.
But I’ve had enough of our run-around conversations, I don’t want more excuses for why we can’t do something. I need action to be taken before I lose my mind doing such menial tasks and remaining stagnant. I came up with a plan over the past few days that could manage to get us both out safely, albeit a few potential risk factors linger. Simplified, the idea is to get him out before I send the money in, afterwards I wait a day or so then cause a distraction that would allow me to escape and meet up with Z.
Storming out of my room, I make my way to Z’s, where I know he’s probably conked out but I can’t stay quiet anymore. “Z!” I yell out in front of his door, slamming my hand on the wood a few times for effect.
It takes a minute for him to reach and open the door, during which I hear him clambering and bumping into things. “Yes?” He blinks slowly, reaching a hand up to rub at his eyes.
“I can’t do this anymore. Either you agree to this new idea or I will turn in the entire organization to the authorities- friends and all.”
Even tired as he was from being abruptly pulled from sleep, he understood my threat instantly, causing his eyes to widen. “What?”
    “You heard me.”
“Well then tell me the plan I have to agree to.”
I explained it to him in detail. It’s a lot like my original plan, where I stay behind only this time I create a diversion of some kind to drag their focus off me so that I have adequate time to escape. Throughout the explanation I could tell he wanted to protest, but he apparently decided to hold all of his objections in until the end. Leading to him to all but explode at me once I finished my final sentence.
“That plan has too many holes, Reina and you are completely aware of that! Firstly, there’s no guarantee they’ll even let you close enough to a computer so that you could set up a distraction. Then you’re also assuming they’ll leave you completely guardless once your diversion takes effect, which they won’t. If you thought there’s no way they’ll let me go without a fight, I know there’s not a chance in hell they’ll let you live if they can’t have you.”
“I can’t live like this! Something needs to be done. You remember my threat, so it’s either this or the whole operation. Choose, Z.” I state, raising my voice to denote my anger at this situation.
“Fine, I’ll go along with your stupid plan but the second something goes wrong it’s canned.”
“No. Either you go with this to the end and trust me, or I turn everyone in.”
Z ran his hands through his hair in frustration. “Fuck! Fine, Reina, have it your way.”
“Good. Tomorrow we start setting everything up.” I respond, effectively ending the conversation.
It didn’t take more than a few days to set everything up. Fake IDs and passports were acquired easily, as well as plane tickets to get us both out of dodge. Z’s hair was cut and dyed, he also had to get rid of his piercings and gather a new wardrobe. Other than leaving me behind, that was the other part of the plan he disliked, claiming that the clothes I chose were “boring and lame”. My rebuttal was that boring and lame blends in to the crowd, and that’s exactly what we needed. With everything ready, there was nothing holding us back from setting the plan into motion.
But Z was still putting up a bit of a fight. “I just don’t want to leave you here, you could get hurt.”
I sighed and shook my head at him. “I’ll be fine, but you will get hurt, by me, if you don’t leave now. I already set a time for the money to be delivered electronically a few hours from now, and if you aren’t out of here soon you won’t have enough time to disappear and could ruin the entire plan.”
“Alright, alright. But I hope you know if you aren’t at the airport, I will wage war to get to you.” He said, voice wavering with emotion.
“I’m aware, now go.” I murmur, lightly pushing him forward.
With a chaste kiss as his parting, he finally left. Now all I had to do was wait. This would be the boring part, seeing as I’d already set up a program in advance to detect when his face was caught on security cameras and erase the footage immediately. The program was completely untraceable and practically invisible, which would allow him to move freely without fear of being caught digitally. Hours passed by slowly, my heart rate not lowering a bit due to the anxiousness I was experiencing. Thirty minutes past the time the money was sent, a knock sounded at the door. It was time for me to start lying.
I opened the door quickly, seeing no point in trying to drag out the inevitable. The boss barged in with numerous men behind him, and two people I recognized: Jongup and Noah. I wasn’t expecting to see them, so I was slightly thrown off when the first question came at me.
    “Where is he?”
“What?” I asked, turning my head to find the person who’d asked the question.
“Where is Z?” The nameless guy rephrased and stepped forward in what I suppose was meant to be an intimidating manner.
    “I don’t know.”
The guy cracked his knuckles stepping forward once more, towering over me. “That’s a lie.”
I glanced at Noah briefly, her face was blank, completely devoid of emotion. “I truly don’t know where he is.”
No one believed this response, thus when the boss spoke it came as no shock to me. “Take her and search the apartment.”
With that command two guys with muscles obnoxiously large grabbed me by each arm and practically dragged me out of the apartment. I was shoved into a large dark vehicle and both men took a seat on either side of me to prevent an escape. The time in which I waited allowed me to think through why Jongup and Noah had been brought along. Obviously they were closest to him, aside from myself, so the boss must have figured they’d be useful in this situation. All I know is that if they reveal anything, I will destroy them- friends or not.
It wasn’t long before the boss and another man got into the vehicle with us and it was set in motion. I knew where we were going, it was clear based on the way each man had his shoulders set stiffly. They were mentally preparing themselves for something, which leads me to believe that either they’re going to torture me to reveal information on Z’s whereabouts or torture me until I agree to track him. This option revelation wasn’t too shocking to me, I’d prepared myself for this. After a certain point in the torture process, I was going to agree to track him- I could plant a false lead that would make everyone run off to catch him, allowing me the perfect chance to run.
Once we reached the warehouse I’d been to once before, I was ever so gracefully removed from the car. Being dragged through hallways I had already deemed cold and oddly clean from my previous visit was a new experience, one I wasn’t too fond of. I kept my eyes trained ahead of me, occasionally making eye contact with people we passed on our way. Unsurprisingly, they took me up the stairs to the room Z had been tortured in. The scene was about to be recreated, only with a substitution as the person being beaten.
As the boss made his way over to an ornate chair that screamed of its importance, he asked me the question I’d been asked a mere hour prior. “Where is he?”
My answer remained the same. “I don’t know.”
The boss was expecting this of course and with a simple wave of his hand, one of the brutes beside me slammed his fist into my ribs. “Do you have anything to say?”
I shook my head, glaring at his confident expression. A slightly different hand motion gained me a flurry of hits, each with a significant impact which would have cause me to fall if one of the men hadn’t stepped forward and held me up. This cycle continued, blow after blow landing in attempts to make me talk. I didn’t budge, even after they started using spiked brass knuckles. Each new blow resulted in ripped skin and fabric, leaving my shirt in tatters. A small pool of my blood was beginning to form on the floor below me, to the point I could see my reflection in it. Tears began to flow from my face against my will, joining the puddle of blood.
“Now do you have anything you want to share?” The boss asked, a leering grin present on his face.
I glared at him, my hate of him shining through my eyes. “I don’t know where he is.”
His hand raised immediately to get the men to continue their abuse, but my voice had him freeze. “But I can help you track him, just stop, please.”
“This is… Unexpected. Fine, they’ll stop. Though I can’t expect you could track him in your current state. You’ll get some basic care by the doctors downstairs, and an hour or so of rest. Then you will find him for me.”
The boss stayed true to his word, and maybe three hours later after being fixed up and having two hours of restless sleep, I was sat in front of a computer. Time for me to start the diversion. Normally, I’d have no trouble creating a false trail, even while being watched, but my brain wasn’t letting me focus. Everything was distracting me, and time was ticking by faster and faster. The code in front of me blurred together as my head throbbed. I ran my hands through my hair in annoyance, I need to get this done. I can’t let them find him, and he will come after me if I don’t manage to get out of here- which could lead to his death. That can’t happen.
With a new sense of urgency and determination, my hands fly over the keyboard, typing furiously. I don’t think I’ve ever done anything so fast in my life, but I went over it multiple times, checking for errors that could be deadly. A small smile came to my face as I found it was free of mistakes, this was it. It’s go time.
“I found him.” The lie passed my lips with ease.
Two hours later the warehouse was devoid of most people. So many people were taken as they had taken the bait that Z had decided to hole up with a rival of theirs, and they needed to prepare for a fight to get to him. Of course this wasn’t true and I’d just led them to start a full-on war. To my surprise the boss only left one man to guard me, though he was the beefiest looking brute from what I could tell. Now I had to disarm him and get out.
I stood up quietly, my voice soft as I spoke. “Could- could I lay down somewhere? I feel faint.”
The man nodded as I made my way over to him. When he turned around to lead me from the small room we were in, I stumbled into him apologizing profusely as my hand freed his gun from the holster on his hip. Without hesitation I pressed the barrel of the gun against the back of his head.
“I know there’s got to be a spare vehicle around here, tell me where.”
He froze, caught completely by surprise at the gun pressed against his head. “There’s a garage near where we brought you in, a lot of vehicles around there along with keys.” He choked out.
The boss may have chosen the strongest guy to keep watch over me, but he also chose the stupidest. I averted my gaze from him because of what I was about to do. I pulled the trigger, and felt his blood spray back on my face as the shot rang out. His body hit the floor with a dull thud and ran. I sprinted through the halls, quickly making my way back to where I’d been brought in. Minutes later I found the garage, eerily I hadn’t even run into anybody.
Hooks lined the wall by the door, keys dangling from each one. My hand shook as I reached out and grabbed the first one I saw. I pressed the unlock button on the key fob and watched as a small nondescript car lit up. Before rushing over to the car I hit the button on the wall beside the keys to open the garage. My heart pounded as I put the car in reverse and sped out of there. I was surprised that no one had come to investigate the shot, I knew there were still people in the building. It almost felt too easy, but I can’t worry about that now. I need to get somewhere to clean myself off so that I can get to the airport to meet Z.
A small gas station twenty minutes from the warehouse is where I stopped. The gun I had taken from the guard tucked into the back of my jeans, the safety on of course. I tried to keep my hair covering my face, but it was difficult seeing as I have relatively short hair. Inside the gas station I was greeted by a cool blast of air which managed to make me shiver as I made my way to the bathrooms. As expected of a gas station bathroom it was a little shoddy, but I made do. It took five minutes of scrubbing to get all the blood off my face and out of my hair. Through the speckled mirror I could tell I looked haggard, my eyes were red and my skin dull.
Relief surged through me as the thought that we were almost free entered my mind. I just had to make it to the airport where Z was waiting for me. A fresh burst of adrenaline surged through my veins making the exhaustion I was feeling almost nonexistent. All I had to do was get to him. That’s the only thing, and then we’d disappear.
People were rushing about the airport when I arrived, everyone bumping into each other without a care as they raced to their destination. I scanned the crowd, looking for Z, who despite being quite tall was appearing difficult to find. I almost jumped out of my skin when I felt a hand land on my shoulder, and my heart raced in my chest as I turned to face whoever it was. As I laid eyes on the person, my pulse calmed and I let out the breath I’d been holding.
“You were almost late.” Z complained. “Let’s go.”
After I changed, we made our way through security, joining the large crowd of people trying to rush through. I kept feeling like it was too easy as we moved through the airport to our flight departure gate. I’m certain that my heart won’t stop racing until we’re on that plane and it’s taken off. While I recognized that Z and I blended in seamlessly, I still was afraid that we stood out, what with our height difference. Maybe we should have taken separate flights. That would have been safer, and would turn less eyes if anyone managed to recognize one of us. Though now it’s too late and I also don’t think that Z would have gone along with that, seeing as how he barely let me stay behind in the first place.
“You need to give her your ticket.” Z murmured, lightly pushing me forward.
I smiled at the attendant and handed her my ticket and passport. With a quick check she verified the ticket and my passport and waved me through, though I did stand and wait for Z to get passed too. Walking the ramp onto the plane eased my anxiety, we’re almost out. At our seats, as I tried to put my bag in the overhead compartment, my shirt rode up revealing bandaged skin. Z’s hand shot out, tracing the edges of the bandages.
“You didn’t tell me.” He whispered.
I sighed, giving up on my attempt to put my bag up, handing it to him before sitting down. “It wasn’t urgent.”
Z scoffed at my words as he quickly shoved both of our bags into the overhead compartment. “That doesn’t matter, you still should have told me. How bad is it?”
“Well, let’s just say I’m going to need a lot of help once the adrenaline leaves my system.”

Zelo Scenario: Mafia AU
A/N: Well hello! I finally have Zelo’s Mafia AU oneshot here for you. I tried so hard to not use Y/N cuz I find it to just break the flow of the story but it was either that or giving the character/reader a gender and I like keeping my scenarios gender neutral so here we are. I hope you enjoy!
Member Profile
Mafia AU Prologue
Yongguk Mafia AU
Himchan Mafia AU
Daehyun Mafia AU
Youngjae Maia AU
Jongup Mafia AU
Zelo was 15 when he left his family to go out on his own and fend for himself. At 16, he had made a name for himself as a skilled sniper and at 17; Yongguk and Jongup found and took him in. Despite being famous in the gang world for being a skilled sniper he had struggled on his own. His family wanted to help him but he had refused saying he wanted to make it on his own without the name Choi stuck to his back. He had abonded everything so he could make it on his own. Even his name…what was his legal name?
He had fended for himself for 2 years but a little help was appreciated. He quickly became friends with Jongup and Yongguk was a good mentor. Himchan came after him but it was like he belonged in their little group. Just like Zelo, Himchan was also from a family of mafia so naturally he fit, even though he nagged too much sometimes for Zelo’s liking.
When Zelo had just joined the duo, he heard them talk about Youngjae and how he gave them valuable information and it wasn’t until after a year of being with Yongguk, Himchan and Jongup that he met Youngjae. He stated that he had finally decided to just do this “mafia business” full time. He might as well; he was already neck deep in the mafia world.
They spent years together as a group of 5 before Daehyun finally came. Youngjae had bought him saying he had some interesting skills. So now they were a group of 6 and Zelo loved every second of his new life. They were perfect together, they were B.A.P.
His whole world was with these 5 members, 5 brothers. He was always so focused, so what in the world had he done wrong to suddenly find his mind wondering to your small figure and the bright smile you had given to him when he bumped into you was beyond him.
He was distracted, which was bad. Someone could get killed, or more specifically, Jongup, his best friend, who relied on him to cover for him could die. He had to find a way to stop being so distracted while working.
“Don’t light that up!”
It’s Himchan.
He takes the cigarette from between Zelo’s lips and throws it in the bin before Zelo has the chance to light it.
“Aw, come on!” Zelo whines.
“How old are you?” Himchan asks.
“Old enough”, Zelo grumbles.
“Yeah, well unless you want to die when you turn 30, you stop”, Himchan says as he offers out his hand.
“Hand it over child, you know he will only nag more”
It’s Yongguk.
Zelo sighs before he pulls put several packets of cigarettes and places them in Himchan’s hand.
“You will thank me one day”, Himchan says with a smug look on his face.
“Until then I will hate you”, Zelo says with a sarcastic smile on his face.
“Aw, I love you too”, Himchan says.
“Stop teasing him, Himchan. I think you made him suffer enough”, Yongguk says as he walks away.
“What’s got you to want to go back to smoking anyway?” Himchan asks, as Zelo had been so good for almost a year.
“I just need a distraction”, Zelo says.
“Why don’t you go dancing with Jongup?” Himchan suggests.
“Ew, no. I love Jongup, he is my best friend but I am not going on a date with him”, Zelo says in mock horror.
“Break dancing you idiot! And I don’t want a date with you anyway!” Jongup yells from the sofa where he is lying down with a book in his hand.
“Try it out. It helps him, it might help you too”
And so Zelo is forced to go join Jongup to the empty basement, which Jongup has practically turned into dance studio/gym.
“Himchan nags too much”, Zelo grumbles once again as he stretches along with Jongup.
“You think so? I think he worries too much”, Jongup says.
“You say that cuz he likes you and lets you do as you please. All he does with me is nag” and Jongup laughs at this.
“Come on, you know what to do. You are a good dancer”, Jongup says as they finish stretching.
He had secretly been dancing on his own and Jongup had just caught him practicing late at night. But this was their little secret. And for a time it does help Zelo keep his mind occupied. It keeps his mind clear for a while so when he sees you unconscious and tied up in their base he is beyond shocked.
“What happened?” he asks and Himchan calmly explains that you worked for the company they were keeping an eye on for illegal activities. Zelo still doesn’t understand and asks why you were here.
“We needed information”, Daehyun says flatly.
“I don’t think this is how we should be getting those information!” Zelo protests.
“What are you so against it?” Himchan asks but Zelo has no answer.
“Gyus…” it’s Youngjae.
They look at him and see that you are now awake. You looked scared.
“Where am I?”
“I think you should answer our questions first, I’m Yongguk the leader”, Yongguk says.
“Your full name and your occupation, please”, Yongguk says almost kindly.
You tell them everything they asked without a second thought. You were so scared of what would happen to you if you didn’t answer. As you answered their question your eyes wondered around the group and Zelo caught your eyes. He looked a little bit distressed but didn’t speak.
“I guess you really don’t know anything”, Daehyun sighs.
“Will you let me go now?” you ask feeling a little bit hopeful.
“No, it’s still a little bit risky but you can do some work for us”, Yongguk says and you feel defeated.
“Zelo”
Zelo’s head snaps up at his name.
“I’m putting you in charge of looking after Y/N”
“Yes, sir”, Zelo says.
“Jongup, untie her”, Yongguk orders and Jongup cuts the rope around your legs and wrists.
Zelo offers you a hand and you hesitate but eventually take it. He helps you stand up.
“You are going to live here from now on until we figure out what your boss is up to. You will go to work as normal but you have to do some data collecting for us while at work. You can do that right?” Yongguk asks.
You can only nod.
“Good, we’ll send Zelo with you for protection. We may look like the bad guys right now but we don’t want you getting hurt for no reason”, Himchan says.
Zelo has an urge to whine at Himchan but bites his lower lip.
“Youngjae will be listening to everything you hear with this little device”, Yongguk says and passes you a necklace.
“Activate it by pressing the red jewel when you are at work”, Youngjae explains simply and you nod again.
“And you can sleep in Zelo’s room”
“Himchan!” this time Zelo can’t help but while.
“There is a pull out sofa in the living room just outside his room where Zelo will sleep and keep guard”, Himchan doesn’t even blink while Zelo pouts.
“Now Zelo will show you around”, Yongguk dismisses.
As the rest of the guys go do there own thing Zelo whines.
“Freaking Kim Himchan!”
“Erm…”
Zelo looks at you and sighs.
“I wanted to meet you again but not like this”
His words shocks you a little bit.
“It can’t be helped, I guess… Come on, I’ll show you around”, he says with a smile.
He starts walking and you follow behind his steps.
“Zelo…should I be scared?” you ask.
“Nah, I’ll protect you so you will be safe”, he says with another bright smile and you can’t help but smile back at him.
And he kept his words; he came with you to work and looked after you from a hidden spot. You didn’t know where he hid but he would always drop you off at work and be there to pick you up. Your colleagues started to ask questions and they wanted to know if you two were dating. You would just blush and tell them the two of you were just friends.
He was really sweet and took good care of you. In fact, they all took care of you. Himchan would cook you your favourite dishes and Youngjae would help you with some work, even though you secretly suspected he was looking for extra information. But mostly your job was just to do the inventory for your company. They all had their own little ways of taking care of you.
Zelo would stay awake with you until you felt like going to bed. Then he would make sure you went to bed before closing the door to his own room and sleeping on the sofa. You felt bad for taking over his room but he said he didn’t mind. The first few nights were really bad. You couldn’t sleep in fear of what was going to happen but Zelo would always comfort you. Sometimes he would stay with you until you feel asleep on his bed.
Daehyun teased but Zelo would tell you to ignore him.
And whenever you got back to the base after work with Zelo, Youngjae would tell you that you were doing well and that they were getting close to figuring out what exactly was going on in your work. Every once in a while you were asked to leave a hidden reorder in your bosses’ office once you were done giving him your report or to leave a recorder in the meeting rooms but that was all you did really.
One day after work, Zelo asks you if you would like to go get some ice cream with him before heading back to the base. You agreed and the two of you went to the small ice cream parlour.
The two of you pick your ice creams and Zelo paid. You thanked him and the two of you sat down at a table.
“So, I heard Youngjae saying that we are close to a breakthrough”, Zelo says.
“That is good”, you say.
“What do you plan on doing after that?”
“Huh?”
“Well, your job for us would be done and Yongguk will set you free”, Zelo says slowly.
“Well, I guess I would need a new job”, you say with a laugh and Zelo laughs with you.
“Honestly though, I haven’t given it much thought”, you say as you play around with the spoon of your ice cream.
“You would probably get paid a good amount to keep you going for, well, for the rest of your life”, Zelo says.
“You think so?”
“Yeah, you may not realise it but this is a big case”, Zelo replied.
“Huh, then I might just lazy around for the rest of my life”, you laugh and Zelo smiles at your carefree attitude.
“What about you? You would get quiet a big sum of money too right?” you ask.
“Yeah, but I just send mine to my family and keep a little bit to do things I like”, he says simply.
“That’s nice of you”
“Nah, I’m just replaying my parents for raising me, although I don’t really think they need all that money but I heard from my brother that he is working on a charity for victims of illegal businesses and for civilians who are affected by our work. So I guess that’s where all my money is going”, Zelo says.
“Oh?”
“Oh, I never mentioned that I come from a family of the Choi mafia did I?”
“Oh, wow. Even I’ve heard of them”, you say.
Zelo laughs.
“That’s why I left. Cuz EVERYONE just knows”. I threw away the name Choi and my birth name. But I am always thankful to my parents for everything they have done for me. They still send me letters and things once in a while”
“That’s sweet”
“Enough about that. What else do you plan on doing?” he asks as he feels a little bit embarrassed at the fact that his parents still baby him.
“Maybe I’ll buy my parents a house and find myself a house to live the rest of my life in”, you say.
What about me? Us? He wants to ask but bits his lips.
“Sounds nice”, he says instead.
“I’d have to kidnap you and take you with me though”, you say with a smile.
“What?”
“Yeah, I don’t think I could live without you anymore”, you say honestly.
“Really?”
“Really”
A stunned Zelo watches you. You have a hint of blush creeping up on your cheeks as Zelo feels his own face heating up.
“What are you saying?”
“I’m saying I love you”, you say it.
“I…”
“Don’t!”
“Huh?”
“I don’t want your answer. I know how this ends so that’s why I wanted to tell you how I really feel”
Zelo still looks confused.
“Youngjae says tonight they are going to confront my boss and then it will be over. Like you said Yongguk will let me go and I will go on to live my normal life without seeing any of you, without seeing you for the rest of my life so I just wanted to tell you”, you ramble.
Zelo is still stunned.
“I’m going to take a walk before I get back to the base, alone”, you say as you stand up and leave.
“What just happened?” Zelo asks himself.
He doesn’t know how long he sits there wondering what happened until he gets a phone call from Himchan saying that you went missing and where the hell was he. He panics but Himchan tells him to calm down. Himchan eventually meets up with Zelo and tells him that your necklace was a GPS tracker too so he has managed to track you down.
The two follow the GPS signal and they know you are at your office building. Himchan gives Zelo a shotgun.
“I know this isn’t how you operate but this is how we will have to do it today”, Himchan says as he gets his own gun ready.
“Youngjae and Daehyun are getting the police and Jongup and Yongguk are already in there”, Himchan explains as they enter the building.
They can already hear the gunshots. They head upstairs to the top floor where they can see your GPS signal. They silently approach the top floor and Zelo leads. All he thinks about is you. He hopes you are safe.
“Think Yongguk and Jongup are in there fighting already. So what I want you to do is get Y/N and get to safety. By then hopefully, Daehyun and Youngjae get here with the police”, Himchan explains and Zelo nods.
When they enter the top floor, indeed, Yongguk and Jongup are both occupied. As soon as they enter they run and hide. Himchan signals for Zelo to go while he coves for him. Zelo nods and checks his surrounding and sneaks around. He can see Jongup with his usual killer smirk on his face; there was no sign of struggling as he shot all the enemy, skilfully avoiding all the vitals. Yongguk is calm as always as he too shoots the enemy.
Himchan closely follows behind Zelo and shoots every once in a while when he feels their safety threatened. Zelo can see you, tied up. You looked scared as you watched the chaos. Your boss was distracted with a shoot off with Jongup. They were standing off looking at each other. Neither wanting to back down.
Zelo took the chance to sneak up to you. You were so revelled to see him. He gently cut the roped tying you up.
“Give up!” your boss says to Jongup who is still smirking.
“I don’t feel like it, but maybe you should”, Jongup says as Zelo’s gun comes in contact with the back of his head.
“Drop the gun”, he hisses at your boss.
Your boss freezes and drops the gun in his hand. Zelo kicks the gun on the floor to Jongup. Himchan walks up to your boss and ties his hands up while Zelo’s gun is still pointed on the back of his head.
“Kidnaping your own employee to pull us in, how disgusting”, Zelo says.
“Ha! Y/N was the one who betrayed me first!”
“At our request so if you have anything to say, say it us”, Zelo replies simply.
“The police are here”, Yongguk announces and eventually your boss is arrested and taken away.
Zelo is next to you while Himchan checks your vitals and gives you a thumb up. Himchan then scolds Zelo for leaving you alone. You tell him it was your fault and it was your stupid decision to walk off on your own that got you kidnaped. But Himchan still nags Zelo. Jongup offers Zelo a hand and they hi5 before taking Himchan away with him to leave you two alone.
“So…”
“I’m sorry!” you say.
“It’s ok, Himchan is right. I shouldn’t have left you alone and I have something else to tell you…if you want to listen”, Zelo says.
“What is it?” you ask.
You are almost sure its rejection. You braced yourself as you lower your head. But Zelo uses his hand to lift your face up and forces you to look up at him.
“I love you”
“Wh…?”
Before you can say anything he has claimed your lips with his own.
“Oh, my baby is growing up!” Himchan is practically crying as the rest of the boys watch the two of you.
“Shh!” Daehyun says.
“Freaking Kim Himchan!”
“Run!”

Blood Is Thicker
tw:signs of an unhealthy relationship, sorta kinda big age gap (24 and 19).
You were innocent, well you made sure to pass off as innocent especially to your enemies and by all means your brother.
Your brother was especially overprotective when it came to dating. He wanted you to date the complete opposite of someone like him. You tried to, you tried to find somebody on your college campus who was like that but it just didn't work. Yongguk didn't like them either.
It didn't matter anyways.
You already have a boyfriend, your relationship was rocky sometimes but you loved him regardless. Jongup is one of your brothers most skilled workers, he got the job done and he got it done well. Maybe thats what you liked about him, how he gets what he wants easily.
Yongguk seemed to hate Jongup, if he saw you two together anywhere he'd always separate you two. He didn't trust jongup as if he wasn't working for him, which puzzled you.
Tumblr media
"I don't recall asking.." Yongguk basically growled.
"Why can't I go?" You asked.
Yongguk sighed "You're a child, and I'm not letting you go anywhere with a criminal"
"Like you aren't one?" Yongguk slammed his hand on the table making you flinch. "You're not going to some party, I won't be at, you don't know who will show up" You rolled your eyes "Whatever" you muttered leaving his office. "I have a final tomorrow anyway" You lied.
You were 19 now not 9, you no longer had to listen to him even though he'd be hurt. Since you've been seeing Jongup, you've had to lie a lot more. Claiming college was getting in the way of you seeing your beloved brother when in actuality it was Jongup. He hated Yongguk just as much Yongguk hated him.
You walked into your room to see Jongup chilling on your bed texting whoever. "He said I couldn't go.." You mumbled with a scowl on your face. "Why are you listening to him again? You're grown remember?" You shrugged. "Its like you put him over me, as if he love's you. When its clear he doesn't" You rolled your eyes and let out a heavy sigh.
"Didn't I say stop that?"
"It's true, I don't know why you don't listen to me when I tell you I'm the only one that loves you"
"Maybe..." You nodded in realization.
"Good, so maybe you should get dressed for tonight."
"Maybe I should.." You whispered going into your closet and finding something to wear.
Tumblr media
You held onto Jongup's hand as tightly as you could. You didn't recognize anyone at the party you were at. Jongup laughed as planted a kiss on your forehead "Chill baby, it's just a party. Just go sit down somewhere." He looked across the room at somebody and nodded. "I'll be back sit right here" He sat you down on a oddly damp couch. The stench of weed and liquor stung your nose.
You heard yelling, lots of it, and with yelling comes gunfire from where you're from so you automatically hit the deck. You watched as bullets painted the room and naked girls wrapped up in bed sheets run down the stairs trying to escape whatever was going on up there. You watched ass glass broke and more and more people fell down.
You frowned as you felt something wet run down your stomach. You looked at the white t-shirt you were wearing it was stained with red. Your body shook registering the pain. "JONGUP" You screamed paralyzed by the pain. You felt your vision blur and black dots clouded your sight. "Please" You yelled out weakly.
The last thing you saw was Jongup darting down the stairs with some girl. He took one look at you and cursed silently. He looked at you one last time before leaving the now shot up house.
Tumblr media
Yongguk stood in the hospital waiting furiously, 3000 things running through his mind. He blew up Jongups burner and his regular phone with no response. He felt stupid for leaving you alone. He regret every single time he left you or ignored you or let you down.
Jongup walked in fronting a sad face. He walked in the through the automatic doors looking concerned. "Where is she?" He asked Yongguk. Yongguk smirked "More importantly, where were you?" He grabbed Jongup by his collar and dragged him to one of the private grieving rooms. He shoved him down into a chair and sat across from him. "Like I was saying," Yongguk took a glock out his pocket and looked up at Jongup who seemed scared.
"Oh you must have left your gun elsewhere, no problem" Yongguk chuckled. "I-i was in the b-b-bathroom"The younger stammered. Yongguk pressed the cold metal againist Jongups head "Wrong answer, try again"
"I said i was in the bathroom" Jongup said with more confidence. "Please, I can smell the perfume all over you" Yongguk shook his head "It's a shame to see my best worker go...but blood is thicker than water" Yongguk pressed the trigger but when the door opened he quickly hid it in  his pocket.
"Are you two the family of Y/N Bang?" The nurse asked
The two boys nodded.
"I have some bad news...."

B.A.P Mafia Fic.
Skydive: Free fall
Capitulo 1
- Y yo a ti
* * *
" Tu padre te presentara a unos hombres.
- Viéndole a usted no tenia grandes expectativas...
- ¿Me has oído?, no te muevas
- N..no...

The office still smelled like a mix of his cologne and the sweet smelling candle occupying a corner of his desk. You were his right hand and you two had only recently become something more. Only five people knew this about you two. Zelo and Himchan were two of them. Youngjae, Daehyun, and Jongup were the other three.
Hmmmmmmm......

I’ve been standing outside the door to Jongup’s apartment for ten minutes now. My heart felt like it was in my throat, to the point I might even choke on it. Now I could face strangers and pull their deepest secrets from them, and take them down without a second glance, all without them ever knowing my true emotions. But how am I supposed to face someone who knows me? I mean, I know I have to go in eventually, I can’t just stand outside his apartment forever.
“How long are you planning on standing there?” Jongup’s voice whispered in my ear, sending shivers racing down my spine.
I spun around, my loud gasp echoing throughout the hallway. “I thought you were inside!” I exclaimed.
“You didn’t answer my question, Noah.” He murmured darkly, moving around me to open the door, guiding me inside.
“Ten minutes or so.” I breathed out on a sigh.
Jongup moved in front of me, his hand coming up to lightly grasp the base of my neck. His fingers teased my skin in slight swirls, while his dark eyes bored into mine.
“What was keeping you from coming into the apartment? I know you were given the passcode.” He questioned, his hand moving to the back of my throat and pulling me closer so that the fronts of our bodies pressed together.
“I didn’t know what to expect.”
At my words, his lips came down on my throat before he replied with a crude question that sent fire flooding through my veins. “You mean since we fucked?”
I nodded as he continued to lay kisses on my neck. “I told you that you didn’t know what you got yourself into, Noah. I’m not the type to back off so easily, especially when you make everything so... Entertaining.” He growled into my ear, the heat of his breath sending delicious shivers through me.
Over the next few hours Jongup made me extremely aware of how he felt about me, in such pleasurable ways. So, now, here I was laying completely naked, covered only by a sheet on his bed, as he clambered off the bed. Somehow, we’d seemingly slipped right back into how it would have been if I hadn’t been sent off to Wersik for training. Except, this time it’s harder for me to allow my emotions to come out.
I wanted to tell him how happy I was to be back, to let him know how much I’d missed annoying him, and just him in general. But I found myself holding these sentiments back, emotions are dangerous. When people understand your emotions, they know how to manipulate you, they can control you however they want. With a gentle sigh, I got up to pull on one of his shirts and my panties, but he stopped me with a hand on my shoulder.
“What’s this?” Jongup’s voice held an edge to it as his fingers traced the single scar marring my back.
“That’s a gift from Wersik.” I muttered, yanking myself away from him, which was going against every fiber of my being that just wanted to turn around and find comfort in his arms. I pulled on his shirt deftly, managing to avoid getting my hair caught in the neck of it.
    “Why?”
“Because I snuck out of the house in the middle of the night to look at the stars.”
    “Noah...” Jongup sighed in disapproval.
I turned to face him, controlling myself perfectly, and I felt my pride swell as I managed to keep my voice even and free of emotion despite the raging anger inside me. “Do not ‘Noah’ me. You weren’t there, you did not train under that monster. I only went outside like that to bring myself some perspective. The night sky calms me, it always has, and I got punished for it.”
With that said, I turned on my heel and stalked out of his room. Of course, of course he was upset that I’d disobeyed Wersik. That was what he cared about, well that, and apparently my body, but not me, how foolish I was to think he cared about me as a person. Why would he need to care about me when I’d practically thrown myself at him, annoyed him half to death, and got him into trouble with his boss. Although, maybe I’m just spiraling without someone to constantly keep me in check even though it’s only been twelve hours since I’ve left Wersik’s.
“Noah.” Jongup’s voice was soft, a sharp contrast to the way his arms wrapped tightly around my waist.
I didn’t respond, opting to instead pull at his hands in a feeble attempt to free myself from him.
He just tightened his grip before responding. “You’re right, I wasn’t there. I don’t agree with Wersik’s methods and that’s why I told you to listen to her, because her punishments are quite severe for rather minor infractions. I was pissed that you got hurt.”
Bitterness seeped into my words. “Why do you even care?”
“Fucking hell, Noah, are you dense? I care about you, the crazy, annoying person you are, because you weaseled your way into my head and I can’t stop thinking about what stunt you might pull next. It doesn’t make sense, it really doesn’t, and I don’t know how to explain it better, especially with how you’re behaving right now.”
The next few days were a kind of push and pull between the two of us. He kept trying to get me to express how I felt, or be annoying in some way, and I wouldn’t, I flat out refused. Jongup started to do the things I did to annoy him, leaving random objects strewn about, except I didn’t get annoyed, at least not outwardly. As he found that my old tricks could not be used against me, he didn’t run out of steam, attempting new pranks I hadn’t even pulled on him.
Jongup’s first original prank was painting the bar of soap in my bathroom with clear nail polish so it wouldn’t lather, that didn’t bother me as I just went to his bathroom and used his soap. When that didn’t work he tried to up the ante by switching the salt and sugar containers, this was a basic prank and I knew something was up by the small smile he held on his face as he watched me prepare my coffee. Then came a series of pranks that would’ve annoyed most people since they all came in quick succession of each other. The order was mentos ice cubes in a glass of soda, a fake bug in the fridge, an air horn that went off when I opened my bedroom door, and bubble wrap under my bath mat.
I could tell that after these pranks, he’d run out of ideas on how to get me to, well, at this point I wasn’t sure what he wanted from me. Currently, I’m sitting on the couch, reading a book on mind games, waiting for him to make his next move. Jongup appears next to me, gently pulling the book from my grasp and setting it down on the coffee table. I raise an eyebrow at him.
Jongup smiled at me. “Just go with me on this.”
I purse my lips, but nod in response regardless. Unexpectedly, he sits down on the couch and then twists himself upside-down, like how he found me all those months ago. He motions for me to join him, a giddy expression on his face. I swiftly get into an upside-down position beside him, my feet hanging off the back of the couch as my head hovers above the floor. The familiar rush of blood to my head brings with it the need to laugh, I bite my cheek in an attempt to hold it back, but I ultimately fail, a loud burst of laughter breaking the silence in the apartment. With that one laugh it was like the dam in me broke, and I was laughing and crying at the same time.
I was laughing because, oddly, hanging upside down from a couch is fun, and crying because now I could realize the reason Jongup had been pulling pranks on me. He was trying to get me to do something, to say something, to just return to how I was before I got sent to Wersik. That doesn’t mean he wants me to forget the training altogether, just that when I’m with him, I don’t have to keep that barrier that was drilled into me up. Basically, he was trying to get me to understand I was safe with him.
I turned to look at him, my eyes glistening. “Thank you.”

BAP Reaction: You are cute and small (Mafia au)
Yongguk: After a long and tiring day of running a mafia group, he couldn’t wait to get home. Not only was the work day done, but he got to go home to his cute little girlfriend. As soon as he closed the front door, and locking it, he heard footsteps rushing towards him. “You’re home!!!” you screamed and jumped into his arms. He easily caught your small body and smiled widely. “I love it when do this” He said, looking down at you. “I know!” You smiled at him, “That’s why I do it.” Yongguk kissed your forehead before heading to the kitchen with you in his arms
Tumblr media
Himchan: When the sun rays hit his face, he slowly woke up and found your spot next to him empty. He looked around the room confused, but when he smelled food coming from downstairs, he smiled to himself. How did the 2nd in command of a mafia group ever get a cute girlfriend? Himchan went downstairs and saw you placing a plate of pancakes and a cup of coffee on the table. You looked up and smiled brightly. “I made you your favorite pancakes!” You squealed and bounced excitedly. He chuckled and gave you a hug. “Thank you for being the best girlfriend ever” He kissed your cheek. When he sat down to begin eating with you, he saw that his coffee was still black. He looked up at you and you blushed looking down, “I couldn’t reach the sugar...” Himchan broke out laughing right there.
Tumblr media
Daehyun: You knew Daehyun was going to be out for a while so you decided to get some work done around the house. You put on one of his shirts, some shorts, and your hair back. With your favorite playlist on, you began cleaning the downstairs first. Within 30 minutes, the dishes were clean, the kitchen was clean, and now you were in the middle of sweeping the living room floor. Your most favorite song came and you knew you had to jam out to it. With the broom now a microphone, you began singing into it with all of your soul. Daehyun entered the living room in the middle of your “performance” and decided to stay quiet and watch you with a big smile. After being worried if a job was going smoothly, this is what he definitely needed.
Tumblr media
Youngjae: As the hacker of a mafia group, he was constantly on the computer to make sure no one got into their computers and saw their illegal work. He had been on the computer for about 4 hours and within those hours, you came in gave him some food, drinks, some snacks, and a blanket. You came in again and this time, gave him a back hug and kiss on the cheek. Before you left, Yongjae grabbed your hand and had you sit on his lap. He gave you a kiss on the lips before smiling at you. “How did I get so lucky to have a caring girlfriend that fits perfectly on my lap?” You giggled and kissed him again before watching him work.
Tumblr media
Jongup: Many would describe Jongup as quiet, mysterious, reserved, and most of all hella scary. He sometimes got a kick out of killing people and never minded getting his hands dirty during a job. However, that all stopped when he met you. This small, cute, pure girl that he fell in love with. One night, after a long trade, he came in and was instantly greeted with the smell of chocolate chip cookies. Jongup went into the kitchen and wrapped his arms around your waist as you were putting the last batch on a tray to cool. You smiled at him, “I made enough for your team” You beamed. However, he shook his head, “They don’t get any. They’re all mine.” You giggled and feed him a cookie then kissed his cheek.
Tumblr media
Zelo: He was young when he joined the mafia and is still pretty young to this day. He went through some tough training physically, mentally, and emotionally. After all, you had to be prepared for anything in the mafia. However, no matter how strong he was, he knew he couldn’t last much longer. Zelo was watching his small girlfriend struggle to reach the mixing bowl while she stuck her tongue out and mumbled about how short she is. He broke out laughing and went over to hand her the bowl. “How long have you watching me!?” You asked as he handed you the bowl. “A while, you’re just so cute!” He chuckled as you pouted, which he kissed and now both of you were smiling.
