2. Sunkissed: My most popular fic to date and my beloved (if bittersweet) baby. Written while meetup fics were still all the rage, I get to boast that it predicted Dream's face reveal having over a million people watch it live and that one time he jumpscared George while he was playing fnaf security breach. Also known as the fic I (nearly) posted a chapter of each day while it was being published, a feat I have never pulled off before and really don't recommend

Magic Mirror, on the wall (He is the Fairest of Them All): Of course I had to put my newest story at the top! The latest example of "I had an idea and it Grew", this in-progress beast of a story has so much worldbuilding poured into it that I have an actual Minecraft seed I used to make a map/plot the story/build some of the locations. Thanks again to Nunki and Nov so much for pulling me out of art block 😭💕 I had so much fun drawing all of this and experimenting with poses and colors, etc. that I wouldn't have tried before this!! i'm so sorry this took like 2 months to finish there was lots of stuff going on but I finally finished it and i'm very happy how it all turned out. I made this post just to go through my thought process LMAO

DAY 1: Early SMP Days

This one was inspired by the "he asked for no pickles" meme and how in an early dsmp stream c!dream (in full enchanted netherite armor) asks c!george (half iron/diamond armor) to protect him with a crossbow while they go to l'manburg

At first this one was gonna be a quick drawing but then i got too invested into drawing the armor that it got out of hand and suddenly i had spent 2 days on that 💀

Also all the other drawings were gonna be like this one, a bit simple than what i usually do, but i got too invested x2 and ended up rendering(?) more the rest of drawings

DAY 2: Objects of Affection

THE SHIELD DEMONS GOT ME 👹👹👹👹 also c!gnf keeps the mask even though it's a bit broken :3

C!gnf is a bit dirty because he doesn't shower, also he sleeps on the grass sometimes, he doesn't get sunburnt because XD protects him from that, also c!sapnap is the one that finds him like that and brings him back to kinoko

I think this is the drawing with most layers only because it was for setting the lighting

This one set the bar of how many details can i put on the next drawings haha got too silly and flew too close to the sun

DAY 3: Worship/Devotion

Inspired by religious imagery in renaissance paintings, they're very pretty and detailed and ohgggg i thought that aesthetic fit XDNF's dynamic ^_^

When I finished the drawing i added a canvas texture so it looked like the mentioned paintings' texture

The pose was so complicated but thankfully i hid all the weird anatomy under capes and hair(?) 🤭 and I have a mirror right next to my computer so i used myself as reference for the hands

The halo around c!gnf's head could be a reference to the headcanon of georgeeeHD existing and being another dsmp deity or also hinting at george's "destroying the smp" stream and how powerful and crazy insane he is!!! also the reflection of XD's halos on his eyes, they worship each other i think, xdnf makes my tummy hurt /pos

DAY 4: Visions/Dreams

Inspired by my weirdcore demons :3 i love that aesthetic so much

I did the error pop up on this custom generator!!

Saved a lot of time by making c!dream faceless since it would be covered by the pop up anyway, but it can also be symbolism for c!gnf not remembering his face or something crazy

I again used myself as reference for the hands i'm so cool and epic

Also I used a tutorial on how to make the vhs effect/chromatic aberration on paint tool sai and added grainy texture on the background for more spice :3

DAY 5: Reunion/Post-Nuke

I reused an old sketch of c!dnf side profile for this one, hashtag work smart not hard 😎 except i polished it and changed some stuff and now it looks way better than the old version

The concept was happy reunion, they're happy to see each other!! c!dnf good ending, i say in tears.

DAY 6: Roleswap

RS!dnf wear matching chains!! also the concept for this drawing was that someone interrupted their make out session :3

Symbolism moment!! I like to draw characters with nail polish of the color it represents them, in this case green for dream and blue for george, but for this au, their colors are swapped: green for george and blue for dream, it symbolizes how their roles (king/knight) on that story are different and don't match with the canon. storywise, they're so in love they wanted to keep each other on themselves somehow so they exchanged nail polish colors

DAY 7: CC Roleplay/Cosplay

Sisyphus would be proud of me (<- almost gave up before drawing this), unironically i got demotivated when i finished day 6 so i took a break and then i went insane with this one

The concept was c!dnfies wearing cc!dnf outfits, dream specifically has so many outfit options but I ended up choosing the famous "dteam in madrid" outfit plus a cat beanie, and I couldn't find a fortnite jesus poster for george's shirt so i just found a silly cat pic and yeah ^_^

oh my gosh okay this is the moment i realized this was no ordinary fic :') the "fondness plain" in Sapnap's voice and Dream's absolute haste to get out there and see him after hearing his voice through the door oh my GOD the amount of emotion kills me

ok this is not a fluffy moment LOL sorry i'm a sucker for hurt/comfort and the amount of hurt/comfort in this ?? i love the image of Dream leaping onto the bed with Sapnap held tightly in his arms and then them huddling under the blankets "hugging each other so tight it hurts" OUGH when you do something so passionately that it hurts just wow the emotion :')

omg the Karl dialogue here is so spot on ?? and it's such a cute moment :') Karl being unapologetically flirtatious and Dream getting flustered ?? girl i'm in love

I LOVED THIS MOMENT i'm such a sucker for good dialogue and just the image of Karl, head in hands bc of how cute dreamnap are, is so cute ?? and with George just sitting beside him, seemingly unbothered but still providing support but still secretly endeared by the whole situation ?? god so lovely. and the exchange "remember when our relationship was new, dearest?" "no" goes from affectionate to blunt real quick and that's my type of humor so it's perfect to me lol

OMG i loved this moment so much too :') the image is so cute. i love sleepy lovers who cling to their partners for warmth :') and Karl just handing him off to Dream? oh man

okay last but not least i have to gush about the kisses bc they did an excellent job of showcasing their individual personalities and relationships with each other and that's one of my favorite things about polycules: how each pairing has a different dynamic.

kwt's kiss is so sweet. sweet as sugar :') Karl being described as playful and teasing, and Dream getting whiny. but in the end they don't want to stop. they're both absolutely lovesick romantics and it perfectly suits their personalities :')

snf's kiss is more competitive. more snappish. more charged. it fits their dynamic so well. but despite what they say about each other, they just can't get enough. they try to appear unfazed by each other but girl they were waiting for that kiss

dnf's kiss is so lovely bc the contrast between George's cool confidence and Dream's warm, bumbling affection clashes where Dream's a blushing mess whenever he interacts with George, and it's so endearing to George that they just can't get enough of each other like wow

karlnap's kiss is so beloved. Sapnap's confidence draws Karl in and leaves the romantic a blushing mess in a much similar way to how George's does. Karl literally melts into him like ough he's head over heels fr

i won't be commenting on the not sfw stuff bc we try to keep this blog pg (we toe the line sometimes yesyes very sorry) but that too was very well written. the dreamnap moments and the dnf moments and kwt moments were fantastic

Vibrating out of my skin, feel like the pressure for Daniel to perform well in Austin is suffocating. Me, personally, idc if he comes dead last like that’s my baby and I’m happy he’s in the car. But all the sceptics and straight up haters and the promise of the Redbull seat and something something about last chances. Like I really hope to god that mf AT car goes fast, no dnf, pit stops are smooth, everyone is safe, and Daniel has fun and feels confident. Okay actually talking about DNF but Brazilian dictatorship, it's basically like, a university au in the 60s but there's also the Ghost of Communism™. Both George and Dream are in uni but different majors (although we don't do majors/minors here, we can only get one degree at a time). Dream's with journalism (or literature, I wasn't a 100% sure on which one) and George with Electrical engineering (computer science only came to Brazil like, a few years into the dictatorship, and the story is right at the beginning of it). Dream's against the "milicos" (pejorative slang we still use today [in some parts of the country] to refer to soldiers or any other positions in the army) with the student league (student league's were like. Big against the dictatorship, to this day there's this idea that people from universities are lazy weed smokers who do nothing because of the propaganda against the student leagues) George's the son of a colonel, aka a guy who was working for the dictatorship. So that was the first point of conflict, there were more down the line, but if I keep going I'll Talk About It Forever.

Horny at 4am is like. Actually not horny at all, and it also wasn't 4am, the title is a lie, and I'm pretty sure it's a Thilbo fic (Thorin x Bilbo from The Hobbit [my beloved]). It's a very very long ramble about the possible differences between Hobbit and Dwarfs courtship. This one is really heavy on world building, but it's more an outline than an actual story. I have a 350 word chapter on it I think? It's about one of my favorite headcanons for Hobbit culture, which is that they court with food and flowers. Food is like, a Huge deal for Hobbits, so obviously I had to put it in, and flowers because hobbits were made by Yavanna, the green lady (aka if I start explaining her I'll never stop cause I Love Yavanna so much I have so many headcanons on her I Will read The Silmarilion again or my name's not Domi), so I also had to put flowers in.

But yeah if I keep talking about those I'll never stop they're my babies and I love them dearly even if I haven't worked on them for like a year at this point. One day they'll Maybe see the light but I would nawt count on it.

Don't see the point, unless the character can't speak the language and doesn't understand also, but then just say they can't understand. I don't see the point unless it's elvish in LOTR I need that shit.

OMG you have had me brain rotting for like two days straight with the lore swap au and I have SO MANY QUESTIONS (that I'm not THAT able to put into words because English is not my first language but let's try):

- Okay so, I rewatched the video where george was building his mushroom cottage and I noticed that he was getting the messages about people dying and everything, but he was apathetic about the whole thing like "they're fighting? Meh I don't think so, let's keep building", on the other hand, I think ls!dream would react differently, so that had me wondering, how would ls!dream deal with the fact that people are constantly fighting in HIS server and the one that interacts with it the most AND causing more conflict is ls!george? Would he confront him about it? Would ls!george try to manipulate him into thinking that nothing is happening at all? Or a mixture of both were ls!dream is confused and wants to believe ls!george but everything seems against what he's been told?

- You mentioned that ls!dream doesn't use his admin powers to hurt a long time ago 👀, how much power is that? Since the land is connected to him, does the land fisically change when he gets enraged or emotional? Is he the one that directly brings people in? Because that could make him feel really guilty about bringing people that messed the perfect world he built with ls!george

george tells dream that he's only doing what's best for him. dream in this au is also apathetic in a way, because he just. sits back and lets george have free reign over the server. because dream loves him, he wholeheartedly believes that george knows what he’s doing and that it’s all for Some Greater Good™ (even if the violence is a little questionable. george sweetly kisses his cheek, pulls dream’s head down and whispers in his ear to “trust in me”. and dream, with all of his blind passion, does exactly that) after all, george has been with him since the start of the server; he physically knows the world just as well as dream, although not as intimately.

as for the admin powers, they’d just be the usual: commands and the ability to summon items. dream in the early days was far more Actively protective in that he didn’t hesitate to point weapons at those who opposed the peace of the land, like tommy for example. however, once george started handling matters on dream’s behalf more often, dream gradually retreated further into the forest and quietly let george take control. 

i imagine the land Is affected by dream’s emotions... sun-facing plants dip towards the ground in acquiescence when he’s angry and unfurl back up when he’s calmed down. and as admin, he’s the one bringing people in, but if they’re in, they’re in. there’s no going back (people leave their mark even if they’re kicked out and forgotten) so he just has to accept the course of life and keep moving forward.
