You know what's fucked up about this entire Horner situation?

They were never gonna let him go. They did the investigation just to fulfill a formality. They even set the grounds for today's announcement by already posting yesterday:

"Any statement from Red Bull GmbH is expected to reflect a thorough and fair investigation, but matters of confidentiality are likely to limit the amount of information shared publicly."

By this, they just meant that whatever bullshit we post tomorrow (translation: we're not kicking him out) it'll be fair and impartial. And if someone asks us any questions (translation: we know we'll get the backlash) we can't say anything because it's a matter of confidentiality and we can't share private information (translation: you can fuck off, we don't have anything to prove him innocent, so we'll use the confidentiality clause).

And that is exactly what they did! They posted that their investigation was "impartial" and "fair" and it contains "private information".

They had been setting the stage for this all along!! Who are they trying to fool though?

I hope she takes him to court and drags him in the mud.

I've been thinking a lot about Loki and Frigga these days, I don't think she's an evil, manipulative monster like some people but I do think she's a very flawed mother, from what we see in the movies she's very quick to justify and sugarcoat Odin's actions, Yes there's a deleted scene where she confronts him about Thor's banishment but it was deleted for a reason, in the movie itself we see her telling Loki that "there's always a purpose to everything your father does", she's always defending him, never her sons and that tells us a lot about the kind of mother she is, idk if it's bc she puts her position as queen above her position as a mother but she always stand by Odin's side no matter what.

Ofc we know she asks Odin not to kill Loki in tdw but that's just the bare minimum she could do, she always does everything thinking about pleasing Odin above all, she goes visiting Loki as a illusion, in secret to not anger her husband, when Loki is going through the trauma of finding out the truth about his adoption she never acknowledges any responsability for what she and Odin did, she justifies his lies agian by saying he lied to protect Loki

She doesn't acknowledge Loki's pain or his right to be angry at them, she tells him he's their son as if that's enough to heal his wounds, she doesn't ask for forgiveness and doesn't offer Loki any comfort bc her husband was taking a nap and she had to stay by his side at all seconds, it doesn't matter that her son had his whole sense of identity stripped away from him, holding Odin's hand was way more important than giving Loki a hug or anything else

I think at some moment Loki realized that she cared more about being Odin's queen than being their mother bc she'd never stand up for her sons and defend them from the abuses Odin put them through, she just kept justifying it bc she wouldn't dare going against her king, it must've hurt for Loki, realizing that he was truly all by himself in Asgard, he couldn't count on his own mother to publicly defend him from the humiliations he undoubtedly suffered, she would just sneak into his chambers and whisper some words of encouragement privately but when in public he was entirely on his own and he knew it

That's why I care more about Loki reuniting with his friends/found family than him going to New Asgard or to Asgard in the past, I have no doubts that he loves his family with his whole heart and he wants to see them again but I love the new family he built for himself in the show, he has Mobius who will defend him with everything he has and will be his emotional support, validating his feelings and genuinely listening to him, he NEVER felt like he belonged in Asgard but in the show he finally found his place, he found the people he belonged to (as stated by the crew) and he fought to save them for hundreds of years so there's no way I'd want him to leave his new home for him to go back to the place where he was mistreated, belittled and mocked just for being who he was, I want him to stay in the place where feels free to be his true self thank you very much

(Ofc that doesn't mean I don't want him and Thor to reunite again, I just think it's best for him to stay with the people he chose to be his family)

It's not gonna be big, but dialogue has been running in my head 24/7 and if I don't write it down I'll explode. Writing is a fun break from drawing besides and I genuinely feel like slowly dissecting other characters is helping me revisit my original stories, and dissect my own characters and bring more continuity and subtlety into them.

there are a few aspects of h/l I don’t really like but they are absolutely, undeniably soulmates. they wouldn’t be happy with anyone else because they’re both freaks in the same way. insane chemistry. within literal minutes of meeting each other as adults they were vibing so hard they just decided to be best friends and their level of intimacy only went up from there

hey. hey. if you're getting an automatic litter box to reduce smells. reconsider. I have the litter-robot 4. ya know, the 700 dollar one. (gifted by my housemate, specifically for smell reduction). so I assumed, great, the used litter will be in a little closed compartment, that will contain the smell.

I am here to say that the EXACT OPPOSITE has occurred. while it does have the great bonus of always providing clean litter for the cat, in doing so it removes the smelliness limiting factor, the litter blanket cover.

picture this. your robit senses your cat use the litter. it waits exactly 7 minutes for ideal clumping time. it filters out the used litter. and then puts that completely unsmothered in a little box. the reason cats bury their business is specifically to cover the smell. this. this does not happen. in a robit port a potty.

so yeah probably look into ways to reduce that issue before you buy one. this round of litter I'm trying baking soda in the bottom of the liner, as I've seen suggested for normal litter boxes. will report back on the efficacy of this. please keep in mind things that may affect your cat's health in exploring assorted strategies (using strong cleaners and the like). (never use bleach).

I'm not outright saying to not buy one, especially because there are many other reasons that one would use this device. I'm not talking about those reasons. do not come into my life saying that I'm ableist for saying this. there are many many reasons a disabled or abled person would use this. I'm only giving a word to the wise that the device *by itself* likely will not cause smell reduction, and MAY, in fact, do the opposite.
