Hello there (: so I have been riddled with insomnia & last night around 2:30, I found your fic, Forever Rain. It was soothing to my soul, to put it simply. & for you to be open about how you needed this I think makes it more special. Reading it was like a warm hug I wasn't aware I really needed, not to mention Namjoon is my bias so it made it even better TT Thank you for sharing this with us & also for comforting us with this writing, it was so poetic in my mind as I read it. I have just found your page, and finished reading Forever Rain. As someone who has depression, and been dealing with quite a bit lately in particular, I have to say this was just so lovely and soothing to read. I relate to how the oc in this story feels. Oh, how wonderful would it be to have Kim Namjoon cuddle me and read to me and tell me everything is going to be ok ❤ I'm following you now, because after reading that masterpiece, I'm definitely looking forward to reading more of your work. 😊

Also!!!! I saw your post about prosopagnosia- have you ever seen the k-drama My Holo Love??? The female lead has facial blindness and its woven into the story in the coolest way! There are some moments that really end up pulling on your heart strings - it’s SO good ✨ I still have a few episodes left to go but what I’ve seen so far is so unique. Hii! Question nr 19☺️

This is from an ancient ask game: I believe the one you chose from the prompt list was about how i keep the details of my storyline straight as I’m writing:

I honestly am terribly non traditional about outlines or mapping things out when it comes to story arcs. I know the bones of where I want to go and generally ( mentally ) know the points I want to hit, but I rarely ever write it out. Once I have a rough draft, I try to edit out anything that doesn’t help me get to those emotional points or makes them feel cloudy. I like to keep my map really simple and focus the crux of my stories on the character’s interactions and less on a really complex plot. There are only a few stories where I’ve taken the time to actually make bullet points of where I want/need the story to go. Like in the Jungkook series or make a wish. The Jungkook series has suffered a little bit from this because I kind of wrote myself into a corner. I know where it’s logically going but im town between the ending I think fits the story, the ending I personally want, and the ending I assume readers would want. I’ve written all three actually but none have felt right so I’ve never released them. I started that series purely wanting to explore a love triangle that felt really compelling but wasn’t simple because there was no clear “bad guy.” I think I achieved that but it made it really unclear how to land the plane with an ending that felt deserved with the amount of emotional investment the reader has by this point. I wish I’d mapped it out sooner instead of around chapter 8 or so like I did. I think the story would have run smoother if I had a clear vision of who y/n ends up with initially and wrote it with that as my end goal. Instead I let the story take me with it, until we both got kind of lost 😂

As a writer I really love diving into translating emotion into story, but as a reader, I’ve got to say, I’m a sucker for an intricate plot that I can’t predict. In the future, I’d love to write a story with time travel but I know that level of planning and foresight is just not in my skill set *just* yet. YET. But one day I think it will be. It will just require practice. I hope that was in anyway helpful. @thedreaming-poet your name is always an immensely pleasant spot of sunshine in my day when it pops up in my notifications. :) I hope you’re having a wonderful day where you are!!!!
