oh man, you figured right. from the description:

"A mix of the folk music popular across the Appalachian region in the Eastern United States, with a unique confluence of traditions that owe as much to Scottish ballads and fiddle music as they do to early blues and traditional African music."

already 100% sold. this not so little detail gets left out so much when we talk about our folk origins. how much of the greater appalachian culture and dialect is owed to the influence and direct contribution of the Black community should not be understated, but unfortunately it usually is like just for example, its wild to me how so many folks dont even know the banjo, which pretty much everyone instantly associates with hillbilly shit and appalachian/traditional southern folk, is actually an african instrument!

anyway, tangent aside, thanks so much <3 i know this is gonna be good

[shaking chihuahua noises] so i saw Amigo the Devil a few nights ago and i cant stop thinking abt it,, , mans literally hopped down into the audience to play instead of on stage to make it more intimate,, he's so cool

Painted a little banjo-playing possum on an old shirt (the orange marker should wash out). It's a little messy, but overall I'm happy with it :)
