summary: Caulifla and Gine join Bardock’s crew, the two being inseparable and best friends. A year into their recruitment, they both realize they love Bardock. On their day off they enjoy it lounging off in the open fields, catching a certain saiyan’s attention.

Gine and Caulifla are inseparable. From the moment these two were born on planet Vegeta, their ki collided amongst each other as they were drawn to each other almost immediately. As the two grew up, they decided to live in a house together. Gine would take care of the house and cook while Caulifla would go on missions and make sure she was strong enough to protect herself and Gine.

Lucky for the both of them they were enlisted in team Bardock, though Gine was a bit hesitant to be in such a team. Caulifla still kept her strong vow of protecting Gine.

Today was their day off while the rest of team Bardock was off doing their own missions. Caulifla and Gine didn't mind, as long as they had each other to keep company.

The enchanted forest is one of the saiyans' favorite spots to go to for relaxation. Caulifla found it while adventuring around once, and then the very next day she brought Gine along with her. Since then, they always came here to get away from their troubles or to ease some stress.

"I can't believe it's almost been a year since we joined team Bardock!" Gine declares happily, her tail wagging as it thumps on the grass.

Caulifla rests back on the ground with her hands behind her head. She allows the tree's cherry blossoms to provide shade. "Yeah, who would've thought we'd be the two lucky girls to be on that squad? Pretty cool huh?" She says with a smirk but keeps an eye on Gine.

Gine grasps a fistful of the grass before swallowing her embarrassment. A flow of scarlet takes her cheeks as she then says, "Uhhh, listen . . . Caulifla . . . I believe I've grown feelings for someone on the Bardock squad." Gine could practically feel her heart hammering in her chest.

"Really?" Caulifla opens both eyes as she turns her head to look at Gine. "I . . . Have fallen for someone too." She admits quickly.

Gine smiles wide, glad that someone had taken the heart of her best friend. After all, she deserves to be happy. If Gine had to assume who Caulifla had fallen for, it had to be Tora. Tora goofed a lot with her and would tag team with her if she wasn't with Bardock. Caulifla talked to him more than she did with Fasha, and they had lunch a couple times.

Caulifla couldn't believe that Gine finally found someone she had fallen for. Once upon a time, did Caulifla consider her more than a friend, but figured that maybe Gine was only attracted to the opposite gender. Then again, she was starting to get really close to Fasha and wouldn't be surprised if she already had a sexual thing going on with Fasha.

"That's amazing! How about on the count of three, we reveal who we like?" Gine says, keeping that big smile.

"Yeah, sure thing!"

"One . . ."

"Two . . ."

"Three!"

"Bardock!" They both say in unison and then gasp in horror. The saiyans were too stunned to speak and chose to be silent for a few moments.

" . . . N-No way . . . You like Bardock too?!" Caulifla says, sitting up slowly as she stares at Gine long and hard.

Gine felt ashamed that she had fallen for a man that Caulifla loved as well. " . . . I can stop liking him so you can be his mate." Gine sheepishly says while her heart sank to her stomach. She'll get over Bardock overtime, but she would never be happy being with Bardock while Caulifla was secretly hurting. She winces as she feels Caulifla's hands grip her shoulders.

"Gine, what the hell! I'd rather you be happy with Bardock! Forget about me, I'd rather value your friendship than my own happiness!" Caulifla says as the two look at each other, unable to read the mixture of emotions that laid in each other's eyes.

"B-But, Caulifla . . . I love you too and would rather keep this relationship we have now instead of sacrificing it for some dumb temporary feelings we have for our captain!" Gine says, placing her hands on Caulifla's waist as she then throws herself forward, hugging Caulifla tightly. A radish red takes her cheeks as her eyes soften.

Caulifla hugs back, squeezing her eyes shut as she tries her best not to cry while holding Gine in her arms. Their tails numbly outstretch towards each other and grip each other tightly, causing the saiyans to shiver.

"Hehe, okay Gine. How about this," she curls her forefinger under Gine's chin and places her thumb on the end of it. "Whoever Bardock chooses as his mate, we just accept it."

Gine nods only once, but was so unsure about what the future would hold. Sure, she would love one with Bardock, but couldn't see a future without Caulifla. "Okay, but I'm fine without a mate, as long as it means you stay in my life." Gine says as Caulifla grits her teeth, tightening her hold on Gine.

"You can be such an idiot sometimes." And before Gine could respond, Caulifla had pulled her in for a kiss, pressing her lips on hers for a few seconds—then pulling away, just in case Gine wasn't into girls too. Caulifla hangs her head as she hides the scarlet flush that took her face. "I-I'm sorry, I-I shouldn't have kissed you without your consent . . . I just couldn't help it."

Gine smiles, but of course Caulifla couldn't see this reaction. "Caulifla?"

Caulifla hesitates to look at her, "Y-Yeah?"

"Now you're being an idiot." Gine says, and practically lunges at her, pinning her down the grass as Caulifla squeaks in response. Placing both hands on Caulifla's face, Gine gifts her a kiss of her own. Caulifla's eyes widen in surprise as she never expected this from Gine, but Kami she loved it.

Caulifla pulls Gine closer, spreading her legs so that Gine's waist would lower down on hers. It was too bad that Gine chose to wear the dress armor rather than her casual team Bardock armor. Breaking the kiss, Caulifla gently raises Gine back, "How much further do you want to go?" She asks, breathless.

Gine's gentle obsidian orbs gaze into those of Caulifla as she smiles. In a husky and seductive voice Gine replies with, "All the way."

Caulifla smirks, pulling Gine in for another kiss as Gine's tail wags. Gine kisses back with much fervor as Caulifla's fingers grip at the waistband of Gine's long pink armor skirt and tugs on it. Gine grins into the kiss, helping Caulifla pull down her skirt as she stretches it a bit to let her tail free. Down the skirt goes, leaving Gine in her black battle tights. She breaks the kiss to take a look at Caulifla who was trapped under a love spell casted by Gine.

"You know, I don't want to be the only one with armor coming off." She says with a sheepish smile.

Caulifla smirks up at Gine as she lowers a hand down her waist, nearing her ass. "Guess you wanna see me naked too, huh? What's stopping you Gine?"

Gine returns the smirk as she plays with the red straps of Caulifla's armor, lowering it down her shoulders as Caulifla works with herself to move her arms up to allow Gine to pull it off. "What's wrong, Gine? Want more?" Caulifla mistook the gesture as the spiky haired saiyan quickens up her thrusting practically bouncing up and down as their wet clits continue to rub against each other. Gine couldn't help but moan loudly as she tries to speak through them.

"Brats deserve to be punished, and believe me, I'm going to punish both of my naughty saiyans." Okay, so.... I’ve got four things in progress right now. And they’re all kind of a mess, so I’m not sure seven lines would even be consecutive.

I’m gonna use the Bardock fic, since that’s got the strongest start, and the seven lines actually seem reasonably coherent.

"Don't listen to 'em, Toteppo," said Seripa as she patted him on the arm. "Your cooking's fine. Better than anything the rest of us could manage, or we'd be doing it ourselves."

By humanoid standards, a woman of Seripa's shape and features might have been considered conventionally attractive. Like the others, she wore form-fitting armor that flattered their powerful physiques, and she had an earring on her right ear that implied a sense of aesthetics to balance her warrior's attire. At first glance, an onlooker might have found such an aesthetic to be exotic or adventurous, but such an illusion would be shattered up close. To meet Seripa in person was to smell the stench of dried blood in her hair, and the odor of viscera on her breath. There was nothing mysterious or captivating about the steely gaze in her dark eyes; her expression was merely a warning to any who would dare to cross her.

Toteppo grumbled at her compliment and made a half-hearted shrug.

"It's not about the cooking," Toma insisted. The others regarded him skeptically until he added: "Okay, I miss her cooking, but it's not just that. She was good for morale."

"That's true enough," Panbukin said. "Right about now she'd be telling us how great we did in the battle last night."

"Or going on about her brats," Seripa said. "I wouldn't mind hearing how Raditz is doing."

"I can tell you how he's doing," Toma said. "The little guy's eating better than we are."

I’m reluctant to post seven lines from my Caulifla/Kale story, because with any luck I aim the post the whole thing very soon, but this excerpt is mostly abour Dr. Rota, so let’s run with it.

Still, despite their miraculous reprieve, Universe 6 had still lost the game. The team had fought hard, but they simply lacked the power to cope with their opponents. Dr. Rota was especially frustrated, since he was eliminated from the tournament by Vegeta before he had gotten a chance to show off his true abilities. This was what had brought him to Parnassan III.

"After we were brought back from erasure, your fellow Saiyans expressed a desire to continue training," Rota went on. "This got me to thinking. Perhaps the gods will hold other tournaments in the future."

"Maybe," Cabba said. His dark eyes kept darting around, as if he were waiting for something to happen. Rota paid no attention. So great was Rota's love for his own voice that he cared little if anyone else heard him.

"Naturally, you three would want to catch up to your Universe 7 counterparts," Rota said. "That odd fellow, Son Goku, and Vegeta. I have a score to settle with him. Well, I don't mean to make it sound like a grudge. More of a friendly rivalry, if you will. Perhaps not exactly friendly. I'd like to humiliate him, if at all possible."

"Yeah," Cabba said.

"So I contacted the Sadala Defense Force to look you up, and they told me you were here. I must say, this is an ideal training spot you've chosen. No sapient life forms, plenty of open space, a wide variety of environments and climates to challenge both mind and body. Nothing but me and three Super Saiyans. A fine place to hone my skills."

"Uh-huh," Cabba said.

This other thing I’ve got is an X-Men bit that probably needs a lot more work. Mostly, it’s just dialogue that I was going to flesh out later. But here ya go.

"Nope. Sorry to worry you."

"No it's okay. I'm actually kind of... Did you just apologize for something?"

"Yeah, so?"

"Well, I guess you really have changed," Cecilia said.

"Life is change, healer," Sarah said. "I really didn't mean to surprise you." She pointed at one of the lengths of bone on her back. "I didn't think dropping by during the day would be a good idea."

"I understand," Cecelia said. "But you never asked for medical help before. From what I can tell you heal almost as quickly as Logan."

"Relax, doc," Sarah said. "It's just a social call. Thought I'd be friendly like all the respectable X-Men."

Basically, I learned that Dr. Reyes never quite left the X-Men’s neighborhood, so it might be cute to have Marrow drop by her place unannounced. But I’m not sure if I want to set this before or after Marrow got zapped by the Alan Davis Ray.

Just as a bonus, I’ll toss in paragraphs seven and eight from Luffa #87, since they’re ominous and perhaps the only two paragraphs that don’t spoil a bunch of stuff.

As she chewed on a ration bar, she glanced up at the main viewer occasionally. It was set to display a continuous readout on the sensor sweeps and life sign readings she had requested. She had an hour before she would fire her pistol on the bridge again, and she hoped that she could knock out two more chapters of the novel she was working on.

She was not alone.

I dunno who to tag for this. Off the top of my head, I know @raxceni, @ediblenonsense, and @semercury write stuff, but I’m probably overlooking someone. If you see this and you wanted an excuse to plug your work, this is it, effendi.

When he finally catches her off guard and defenseless, he plans to seek out his revenge in a sadistic way Caulifla would never see coming. However, after their erotic encounter, it seems that the two saiyans are eternally entertwined in this twisted tale.

Anger fuels his body as the rest of his crew remain silently still. Bardock's rage was sensed in the room, and his lord Frieza could smell it right off of him. Frieza wasn't really angry about this whole failed ordeal; he was absolutely amused that another saiyan could get Bardock beyond his own usual frustrated self. Bardock and the rest of the saiyans in his squad were Frieza's top saiyans, he wasn't about to let some stupid rivalry blindly punish his best saiyans.

The saiyans were somewhat intimidated by Frieza, and wondered what he had to say about the failure this time. Most of the time, he shrugged it off and told them to forget about the small and scrawny saiyan Caulifla and her sorry excuse for a squad. The rest of Bardock's squad were baffled to say the least, but the more they reported to the emperor about their failures were they accustomed to his unusual behavior.

Bardock however, remained rugged and enraged with their failures.

"Alright, you're all free to go, minus you Bardock." Frieza declares, the saiyans looking amongst each other, wondering if they should heed their emperor or stick their ground with their captain. When he didn't see the saiyans get a move-on, he stares into the direction of Bardock, knowing that with his words alone they would flee.

"You guys heard him, get a move on." Bardock begrudgingly says, not turning to look at his squad, but instead keeps his eyes fixated on the burgundy tiles of the throne room.

Fasha turns to look at Bardock in disbelief, placing a hand on his shoulder. "But Bardock . . ."

"Just go!" Bardock growls, shaking off her hand from resting on his shoulder.

"Come on, Fasha." Tora beckons the female saiyan as she stares at Bardock a little longer before following the rest of her teammates out.

Frieza's lips curl into a soft grin, turning to face his second favorite saiyan. As usual, whenever Bardock came back showered with defeat, he would avoid as much eye contact as possible. Frieza loved picking up on all of the unique little quirks all of his saiyans had to offer. "Now Bardock, care to explain to me as to why you're still hung up over this pointless insignificant hatred towards that saiyan brat? It's not like you to drawl on over nuisances like this. Believe me, my precious saiyan. I am in no way angered with your losses. You're still the best saiyan I have, so obviously I could care less."

Bardock shakes his head, "With all due respect Frieza, I wouldn't be so fucking pissed off over something like this . . . but it's that stupid brat who keeps getting in our way from completing our planet purging!"

Frieza's eyes widen with excitement, his lips remaining in the shape it previously was in. "Ah, yes. That saiyan you speak of is Caulifla, correct? The one from Universe Six who has befriended that weakling Frost alongside the other saiyalings. It seems she's on your mind twenty-four seven."

Bardock folds his arms across his chest. As if he needed to be reminded of her clouding up his mind, and not in a good way. "Really wish she wasn't, if it wasn't for her being in that pathetic little squad and her friend being a legendary super saiyan I would've killed her off a long time ago."

Frieza notices the look in Bardock's eye when he even talked about the stubborn saiyan, and a dark dark dark idea formulates in his brain. A wicked and purely evil idea that he knew would be a better way than murdering that saiyan. Tapping at his chin, Frieza chuckles. Bardock immediately stares into the emperor's eyes as his right eyebrow arches upward. He wanted to know what Frieza found so funny.

However, Bardock continued to dodge each and every move he threw. "Just give up now kid, and we can move on to what I have in store for you!"

Caulifla's heart drops to her stomach as she throws all punches and kicks at Bardock, hoping at least a couple would do a decent blow. "No! There's no way I'll let you beat the shit out of me! No way! I'm stronger than you!"

"To make sure you don't do shit to that brat." A third voice intrudes, making everyone flinch in the room, exclusively Caulifla. "Yes Bardock." Tora nods, turning to Fasha. "Come on, Fasha."

Fasha stays silent, keeping her pair of glaring eyes at Caulifla and then looking at Bardock with a defeated look. She couldn't believe any of this was happening right now. She couldn't believe that Bardock was actually going through with this.
