Zodiac Kwamis

Mullo is an energetic little imp. She discovered long ago that people were startled by rodents, and it's been her favorite game to prank new users who weren't expecting her. Mischievousness aside, Mullo likes to encourage activity and productivity, to be clever, observant, and to develop her human into being a multitasker. She likes to touch on the promise of their own independence and self-reliance, but to also be open to being a team player and learning how to share leadership. Mullo can be a bit antagonistic, and will recommend betrayals and being petty/spiteful. Eons later, she and Plagg still have yet to make up when she lied to him about the race.

Stompp is strict, gruff, dedicated, and a little short tempered. He's very serious about responsibility and staying on task, he likes humans to take their time and be efficient. He dislikes dishonesty and dicey behavior. He demands integrity, for people to embrace who they are and work off their true strength. When his humans are strong, he likes to encourage his humans to shoulder the burdens of others when they are in need.

Roaar is bold and wily, she likes to see confidence in her humans, ready to face challenges, and likes to see them be mischievous and ambitious. She wants humans who are able to toe the line of being elusive but charismatic, and will guide them so they will be able to do so. Roaar would also work to develop her humans to be leaders, know how to direct and use people.

Fluff is energetic and observant and aims to be productive and on task, though she can be easily distracted and literally hop between tasks. She is a restless kwami and is impatient to see things completed quickly, but efficiently, though she does understand she needs to take care to not rush or stress out her humans. She is a kwami who doesn't really recommend confrontation, that it is better to flee and escape, to face that opponent smartly and resourcefully.

Longg is talkative, ambitious, and eager. He's a kwami who can recognize the hidden potential in others, and know that they just need to find a goal and reach it, aim for it, and what's kept within will arise and thrive. He's a very optimistic kwami, knowing well that good things will come to those who endure and persist, even in the face of failure, failure is not an end but a stepping stone, and he urges humans to keep going.

Sass is observant, a little quiet, manipulative, and patient. He's a rival of Trixx for having the most silver of tongue, and knowing how to direct and influence humans. While overall benevolent, he is willing to dabble in questionable choices, especially when dealing with enemies. He can be one of the greatest allies a human can have, and one of the scariest kwamis to irk.

Kaalki is the most elitist of the kwamis, very egotistical and poised, she demands a certain standard from her humans, desiring them to be wealthy or famous. She'd be put off by any human beneath her standards, but if she sees that potential, she will work to elevate them to her standards, make them famous or wealthy. In spite of her prestige, Kaalki stands that her humans must become the ideal heroes. Those who champion on in the face of hardships, who have a noble heart that step up for others; anyone who doesn't act like the ideal hero is bound to get quite the earful.

Ziggy is curious, ambitious, clever, sweet, and reckless. It was often recommended by Guardians that she was to be paired with hardheaded humans with her tendency to ram her head against theirs, either out of excitement or annoyance. She likes to urge humans to be creative, look upon the world in a new perspective, to be independent and ready to solve their own problems. She's also a notorious escape artist, back in the days of the Order, she rivaled Plagg in how many times she'd just disappear and go exploring.

Xuppu is volatile and impish. He will be nosy, hey himself in everything, and is very sporadic and lively. He can be quick to connect with humans, but also quicker to fight them. He likes humans to be adaptable, open to change on the fly, have a sense of honor to live by, and be active. The Order actually tied Xuppu with Kaalki as the biggest handful of the Zodiac (much to Kaalki's offense).

Orikko is blunt, bold, and egotistical. He likes to think highly of himself, and eagerly welcomes humans into his "flock", already having high regards for them. He likes to urge his humans to be clever, honest, and ready leaders. He prefers humans to take time to think things through, have a good plan before they act, for as courageous as a rooster is, it's still quite limited in fights, so they need to be clever. Orikko will also take up the task of waking humans up at the crack of dawn, and he likes to do so with a song.

Barkk is friendly and embracing of all humans, and she's a kwami who mastered the line between work mode and play mode, knowing well there's a time for play and a time for work, and she likes to help humans develops this as she has found humans who overwork themselves or prioritize play too much. She's the most empathic kwami, having a lot of faith in humanity and can easily understand their reasoning. In spite of her compassion, she is able to draw the line when dealing with an unruly human, and she is willing to bite to back her warning barks.

Daizzi is an easy going, brilliant, and affectionate kwami. Daizzi loves to eat, sleep, play in the mud, then get bathed afterwards. A lot of humans don't initially regard him as clever as a kwami and he will make use of that to take it easy. He is one of the few manipulative kwamis, specializing with empathy. If needed, he will try to open up a human's perspective, consider what they may be feeling. He is not above feeding into a human's vices though, as his power is changing someone's true colors. Much like Kaalki, Daizzi does prefer to be with wealthy humans, though it's nor a deal breaker if he isn't.

Hero LineUp (1/3)

I finally finished writing up the pairings and reasons, but it was too long for one post, so I'm slicing them up and here are the first five... enjoy.

We first begin our roster with the golden child himself, Adrien Agreste. I thought this one was a no-brainer so I decided to give him Tikki as his kwami as I think the pairing is a very interesting one plus he could use a warm light in his cold dark room. Our next pairing is with one of my favorite characters Marc, but when it came to which miraculous to give them I decided on Barkk as their kwami for the sole reason that they're good at soccer which isn't a valid reason, but this was one of the kwamis I had difficulty, so cut me some slack, but I must say I can see the pair playing ball together and Marc deserves all the "Adoration" hehe get it. For this next one, I was okay with being Aurore and Longg since I would think Aurore would be very knowledgeable on the weather since she ran for weather girl and Longg's powers are the makings of a storm plus she would have a head start with the powers as she's been akumatized as Stormy Weather. Let me be honest with y'all, I loved Chloe's character since S1 and 2, so I refuse to believe what "Ass-truc" did to her character just because she's someone who bullied him in real life to me that's no excuse to waste a character, so with that ramble out of the way I gave her Xuppu to shake up the formula as I could see them having a rocky start, but slowly during a much-needed arc they become good friends. This next one doesn't deviate from canon that being Ivan and Stompp. I did try to pair Ivan with another kwami, but in the end, he and Stompp just felt right, so we carried on.

            Chloe sat in a library for study hall. She worked on her assignments alone when Barkk burst into the silent library. Everyone turned to stare at Barkk while Chloe hid herself behind a book.

            “Chloe! Did you see the news?” Barkk whined.

            Chloe flinched. “No. No, I didn’t.”

            Barkk stood beside Chloe and pulled out her phone. Chloe’s eyes widened seeing a news report of a bank heist. She skimmed the report and saw a blurry photo of a man in a black cat themed prince outfit.

            “What the-?” Chloe started.

            “A bank has been robbed by a supervillain!” Barkk howled.

            Gasps tore through the library as it buzzed from the other students. Chloe grabbed Barkk’s tie and pulled her down.

            “Was that a holder?” Chloe whispered.

            “It had to be. I’m also sure it’s Plagg, the black cat kwami of destruction.”

            “Wait, wasn’t that Chat Noir’s kwami?”

            “Not anymore. Chat Noir has a new kwami. His old one is with someone new.”

            “And this person is out there robbing banks?”

            “Apparently.”

            “This isn’t good, you know that, right?”

            “Well, what can be done? He’s a holder. He has free reign. It’s not like any mortal can hurt him.”

            Chloe’s eyes widened and she smiled. “No, but another holder can.”

            Barkk gasped. “Wait, you aren’t suggesting-!”

            “Cheri, it’s perfect. This is my chance. A chance I thought I’d never have again. I can finally prove myself a hero.”

            “But, Chloe, should we? Or rather, should you? You have enough with school and trying to adjust.”

            “That’ll come later, but this, this won’t. C’mon, I can be a hero again, like when I was Queen Bee. I can finally prove myself worthy.”

            “You don’t need to prove yourself worthy though.”

            “Yes, I do. I had Pollen taken from me because I revealed who I was. But I still tried my best to be good, to be a hero. I hoped Ladybug would give me a second chance, but she never did. Then she gave Kagami a second chance knowing Kagami revealed her identity. I was furious and… and helped our enemy.”

            Barkk’s pigtails drooped.

            “I know I’ll always be worthy to you, but I need to prove it to myself. I betrayed everyone. Ladybug, Chat Noir, the whole city of Paris. I may not be in Paris, London may not know who Chloe Bourgeois is, but this is my chance. I have a fresh start, a second chance thanks to Velze. I’ll make sure to make things right.”

            Barkk sighed, then smiled. “Alright, alright. You have me on board. What’s the plan?”

            “We sneak out after lights out. If we’re lucky, we’ll come across him.”

            “And when we do?”

            “Well, I don’t know. I guess pelt him with arrows until he runs scared with his tail between his legs.”

            Barkk hummed. “Simple. I like it. Just don’t strike anywhere vital.”

            “About that. Are you sure there’s no way I can dull the arrows?”

            “What do you mean?”

            “Well, I don’t exactly want to hurt anyone. Not anymore. I’ve done that enough. So, can I, I dunno, hit them and something happen that isn’t it piercing them?”

            “Well, I suppose? I never thought of my arrows doing much else other than making people fall in love or killing.”

            Chloe paled. “Cheri, please. I really don’t want to hurt him. Villain or not.”

            “I’ll see what I can do. Just, give me time to figure out what to do.”

            “How long will that take though?”

            “Just a few hours. I should have something put together as a first prototype when we head out later. Ok?”

            “Ok.”

            “Good. Cover for me.”

            Chloe opened her mouth as Barkk ran out the door. She sighed and returned to her assignments.

            Chloe returned to her dorm for lights out. She looked around her room but didn’t see Barkk. She pursed her lips and stepped in. She dressed down for bed when Barkk materialized. She jumped, then scowled.

            “What the heck, Barkk? Where were you? And you need to be careful doing that.”

            “I know, I know, but it’s just easier.”

            “What’s easier?”

            “Yes. Anyway, I have a prototype arrow available.”

            “Thank goodness. What can it do?”

            “Well, it doesn’t kill.”

            “Barkk.”

            “Ok, ok. It’s a dulled arrow filled with a fog. Whatever it hits will release the fog that disorients those caught in it. Just, uh, one condition.”

            “What’s the condition?”

            “Well, it needs to be related to, well, me. So, the fog sorta, you know, uh, makes those in the fog, uh, fall for the first person they see.”

            “What? Barkk!” Chloe screeched.

            “I’m sorry! It was that or make them really, well, in the mood. If you catch my drift.”

            “Seriously? Couldn’t you have made it literally anything else? Aren’t there more types of loves than just romantic?”

            “Well, yes, but that’s the thing. You don’t know which love it’ll be. So, hey, maybe you’ll get lucky and it’ll just be another friend.”

            “And if I’m not?”

            “Uh, do you like boys?”

            Chloe groaned. “Ridiculous! Utterly-!”

            Chloe took a deep breath as she caught herself. She swallowed hard and shook her head.

            “I’m sorry. I… that may be a habit that’ll be hard to kick.”

            “It’s ok, Chloe. I did just drop something big, but that is the unfortunate thing. I am love. I can’t be anything other than that, same with everything about me, including my weapons. I wish I could be more, but I can’t.”

            “I… understand. I’ll just… still have to be careful.”

            “You’re going to need to be anyway. We aren’t what you remember us. We’re stronger, more powerful, everything. It’ll be a whole new experience, but a dangerous one. If you’re ready, you know what you need to say.”

            Chloe nodded. She took several deep breaths, then sighed. “Barkk, let’s play.”

Everyone, you remember my other comfort character

Purple Tigress is perfect. Power, weapon, costume. All hail Juleka. Just wish they didn't get lazy with the Kwami names all of a sudden. Roarr, Stompp, and Barkk. They stick out and not in a good way. Oh well.

Tharra (Pantera), Vobbo (Bovidae) or Nuii (Chinese Ox), and Creebes (Cerberus) or Spott.

I tried to give them names closer to Orikko and Longg, the animal, while following that early rule of vowels for Kwamis.

It just felt off to me. Maybe they just ran out of time. Anyway, the Dog Miraculous.

"Fetch" really feels like a secondary power. It's certainly unique, but it's also just teleporting objects, which I feel should be an evolution of the horse ability. So how about giving it the power "Detect" to mimic a dog sniffing for trouble. Instead of Adoration, it can be the Kwami of Sensation.

The Dog can now sense negative and positive energy to find whatever it's looking for, as well as sensing for disruptions in people, something that would help with Chameleon, Puppeteer, and Penalteam situations. As a side-effect, the Dog wielder can automatically find the akumatized object.

The Dog Kwami can also sense for other kwamis on its own, a concept that seems to be forgotten with Wayzz. However, doing so can leave the dog kwami overwhelmed with a sensory overload, leaving it exhausted and in pain. It'll come back with a general radius of the miraculous but won't be able to pinpoint it.

Sabrina needs a defense.

Claws have been used already, and I can't think of a weapon that could mimic biting. So how about giving her a boomerang, mimicking a dog's loyalty. Using "Fetch," the boomerang will hit something and magically fly back with it in tow instead of teleport.

What do you think would be the canon kwamis favourite hobies?

Tikki - Planning out the next generation of giant reptiles that Plagg will not destroy this time. xD On a more serious note, I think Tikki would easily be consumed with the internet and all the information and stories and art on it.

Plagg - Cheese tasting. But not just flat out eating cheese, but I feel he would like to go all out fancy. And not just cheese tasting, but he would like things like wine tasting too, etc. Just luxury and food somewhere he can laze about and eat, but feel like the king he is.

Longg - I think Longg would enjoy reading a nice long book. xD But I do think he'd love to read.

Fluff - Watching history documentaries, just so she and her holders can mock them for how wrong they are.

Sass - Sass loves calming things; reading, music and the like. However he's also a big sucker for gossip, though he doesn't admit it.

Wayzz - Puzzles, whether it be actual puzzles or something like crosswords or Sudoku. He also loves learning about the modern world.

Orikko - He's definitely a singer. Vote's out on if he's a good one though.

Kaalki - I think outer space would capture her attention. Not that she's unfamiliar with it, but rather she loves seeing everything humans have managed to do with space, from space travel to powerful telescopes.

Barkk - I can see her becoming super invested in TV shows and their fandoms. (She's one of us!)

Daizzi - Looking at baby animal pictures. They are all adorable, whether it be dogs, deer, snakes, or larva.

Mullo - I could see them being an avid collector, of what? Well that changes every few decades. Their corner of the Miracle Box is stuffed with random things they've collected over the years.

Pollen - I think Pollen would have a cute little garden. :)

Ziggy - Okay but Ziggy in a chefs hat cooking.

Stompp - She loves Janga, though her favorite part is when it all comes tumbling down.

Trixx - Disney movies. And practical jokes, of course. And Pokemon.

Xuppu - He loves games of any kind. Board games, party games, video games, card games, etc. Anything fun that he can do with others. The problem is that if he has no one to play with his favorite game becomes playing pranks on everyone.

Roaar - A connoisseur of music. From classical to heavy metal.

Liiri - Stargazing.

Nooroo - Not being used for evil, being with other kwamis, hugs, being treated like a living creature, drinking fine wine.

Duusu - Video games! And fanfiction. They are a huge shipper and you can't change my mind.

Tikki- Tikki has the terrifying power of Manifestation but with no care or emotions for humanity anymore she creates the worst of the worst. Plaguing humanity with curses and horrifying monster like titans and man-eating creatures. Turning Paris into an Empire for her chosen and those her chosen holds dear. Tikki reverses the world back to the days of fear where death was around every corner.

Plagg- Plagg never cared much for humanity but since Tikki loved them he kept them safe, now that Tikki is corrupted like the rest of the kwamis he sees no need to keep them safe. With the power of Ruination he creates deadly diseases and curses that can kill a man instantly. Though most are safe from Plagg’s reign of destruction if you live inside Paris under the protection of the Divines if not then your screwed.

Trixx- Trixx uses the harsh power of reality to torture the humans, forcing them to face the reality that nothing will ever be as it was. Trixx creates traps that they hide across the world and if a human were to fall into it then they would have to face the reality of their trauma. Trixx picks their victims based on the amount of heavy trauma they have, like some sick game they toy with the emotions of humanity for fun.

Pollen- Pollen uses the power of submission to gain followers, brainwashing them and forcing her victims into a Hive mind. This helps the Divines keep people under their control but it’s Pollens sick pleasure to find the best of the best to join her Hive, only the best may serve her Hive and her Guardian.

Wayzz- The power of Endangerment is dangerous which is why many people of Paris try their hardest to live in the turtles territory for safety, Wayzz protects those that live in his territory and those that don’t or trespassers face a worse fate. His Shelter allows those with good intentions to pass but those that don’t feel agonizing pain that endanger their health. Unlike Trixx he does not torture humanity for fun. It’s not what his Guardian would want. Especially since she loves all of her people.

Duusu- Duusu creates as many sentimonsters as she wants, helping Tikki fill the world with monsters. Some sentimonsters are human like and some are not, some are safe and some are not. Duusu mainly stays with her Guardian who doesn’t mind Duusu’s terrifying creations. Just for fun though Duusu manipulates the emotions of humanity. Mainly turning them on one another for sick enjoyment. She sometimes imprisons them so they know how she and Nooroo felt.

Nooroo- Nooroo uses his power to force random people to turn into monsters, transforming them as if they were clay. Though he never leaves his Guardians side he transforms them into creepy monsters. Nooroo makes humanity suffer through what he endured under Gabriels hand. Not being able to move, takes away their mouths, or force them to follow orders. But if you live in Paris your safe as long as you live under their protection.

Longg- Longg controls the sky, creating deadly storms that have sank ships and ripped cities apart. Using the power of Limitation though they curse humanity to forever be flawed never allowing them to have their perfect world back. Longg creates tornados and cloudy skies blocking the sun. Unless you live in Paris.

Ziggy- Ziggy uses their powers to suppress the emotions of humanity, things like Love, and passion only exist in Paris.

Kaalki-Kaalki uses the power of stagnation to stop all animal migration causing the animals to turn violent and the natural order to topple. She has fun stealing people from where they are and teleporting them else where causing people to lose their family members and friends. Sometimes she rearranges the iconic monuments to be elsewhere, Kaalki likes to redesign the world by placing things or statues in places they don’t belong.

Barkk- Like a dog Barkk hunts down her victims, not giving them a chance to hide. She plays fetch with human beings and sometimes that causes a limb or two to be lost. She enjoys humiliating humanity, sometimes she bites the people she likes and turns them into were-beasts which is a high honor because they end up meeting the Guardian and enjoying the kindness given to them. Barkk mainly hangs out with the Guardian but from time to time she goes out of Paris to humiliate and torture humanity.

Stompp-Stompp doesn’t do much, he likes sleeping and being lazy. Though he does punish humans if they dare try to harm his people or territory. But if any of the people of Paris try to fight back Stompp has the power to steal their determination leaving them to the wrath of the Guardian. He can brainwash humans into accepting anything, no determination no revolution.

Orikko- Orikko loves to play god even if he is a literal god, he grants audience to people and gives them limited power at a price, it causes a lot of people to fall into debt with him. Sometimes he gives them the power they want only so it can backfire causing the person who asked for the power to lose everything and then enslaving them for all eternity. The only way out of enslavement is being transferred to another kwamis domain or territory. But the mercy of freedom from enslavement is if the Guardian chooses to free them and prints them back to her part of the Empire.

Roarr- Roarr loves to steal peoples happiness causing them to fall into deep depression, that sometimes causes the victim to fall. Roarr gathers the souls of the depressed and keeps them as Knick knacks. No one is safe from her soul collecting, that is unless the Guardian is gifted the soul and is freed.

Fluff- Fluff has fun conquering the timelines with her army and Alix. She mainly goes back into moments were her Guardian was hurt or bullied and tortures those that hurt her Guardian. Fluff also collects different versions of Marinette from different timelines, placing them in a sort of sanctuary. Though the Guardian says she can only have so many. The people of Paris under Fluffs control don’t mind serving her that is until you cross her and she turns you into one of her mindless soldiers.

Sass- Sass helps Fluff conquer the timelines by helping Alix and Luka with winning. Using his power he can see into different timelines through the Snake holders eyes, if Fluff likes their Marinette he’ll help capture her. Sass though loves torturing Gabriel and his accomplices over and over again, he has an eternal hell just for them. Sometimes he asks Nooroo to transform Gabriel into a useless Kwami so they can lock him in the same cages they were locked in and suck him dry of his life.

Xuppu- Xuppu sometimes joins in on the conquering of timelines only so he can make fun and mock Gabriel or the enemies of his Guardian. But Xuppu makes humanity his puppets, like a wish with a monkeys paw, he acts nice and grants them their wish with praises and false luck on so it can go wrong sometimes leading to death.

Mullo- Mullo is always on the conquering of timelines, her power to take away a persons power is needed every time. Though she sometimes uses her powers to take a limb or two away from a human or humans just for fun.

Daizzi- Using her power she reveals humanity’s deepest desires and takes them away. Diazzi sometimes even manipulates their desires to fit her needs. There are rare occasions where she meets kind-hearted people like her Guardian and trap them in their desire forever, it is her mercy. Then their are moments where she turns a desire into a nightmare.
