(from the november theme search bar ask) i just checked and it actually works on chrome, but i work on firefox and checked on safari as well. the search icon isn't aligned correctly on either firefox or safari, but it does on chrome. is there a way to align the icon on those two browsers?

hi! sorry i'm just now answering this! i am actually reworking this theme on a new npf compatible basecode and i've reformatted the search bar too. hopefully i can post the new version soon! i'll double check how it looks on other browsers before i release it :)

hello! different theme 81 anon here, sorry to bother you - but i was wondering if there's a way to make the audio player on the theme to look like the one on theme 89? thank you in advance ^^

hi! theme 89 was made with my new basecode / post styling. if you're handy with html/css you can take the styling from the external stylesheet from 89 and put the styling of the audio section into theme 81. you can always take bits of my codes and morph them together, no problem :D

photoset gutter

I'm experimenting with photoset gutter sizes on npf photosets on this blog. (legacy photosets are easy)

It's with my new basecode from eggdesign that the themes Mauve and Everlong are based on as well. As soon as I've worked out the kinks I'll update both themes with this!

Hi flipse! I know you don't teach but what advice would you give to start making themes?

Apparently a hot take, but: Make it responsive.

Learn how to do that, it's so simple. hell my tumblr basecode has eveything in it already for you to use!! (don't need to use it just learn from it at least!)

There's this weird thing with Tumblr that seem to be stuck in 2014 where no themes were responsive. Like, we all have different screen sizes, it's such an insane thing to only make it work for like 20% of people.

Contrary to popular belief, one does not actually need the infinity gauntlet to wield one or any of the stones. The stones give one aces to what is essentially the base-code of the universe — abiet, different sections for each stone — the gauntlet is just... UI, basically.

Because while the stones may be the base code the gauntlet is the console. Without it, you’re flipping bits one by one by hand on a computer the size of all of infinite space and time without even being able to see what the hell you’re doing.

Technically you can program without a keyboard or screen? Just, maybe do it with one. Just a suggestion.

okay, took longer than it was supposed to but blog’s back up!    the new theme is only super simple bc it’s only meant to be temporary but it was still fun to play around and do smth a little more minimalist with my own base theme. an educational experience! tbh, i don’t even know why i thought i’d get changed over to a temp theme in one night when i confirmed have terrible brainworms that make me overthink literally everything but it’s okay, we’re embracing it <3333333333333 anyway, now that’s done, i’m gonna see if i can get some writing done but i’m also a lil tired so i might just start some stuff and finish/post it tomorrow. the real point of this is that uh yaaaaaaaaaay my pages are all readable again, we love that!!
