Hi flipse! I know you don't teach but what advice would you give to start making themes?

Apparently a hot take, but: Make it responsive.

Learn how to do that, it's so simple. hell my tumblr basecode has eveything in it already for you to use!! (don't need to use it just learn from it at least!)

There's this weird thing with Tumblr that seem to be stuck in 2014 where no themes were responsive. Like, we all have different screen sizes, it's such an insane thing to only make it work for like 20% of people.

Hi, love the game and I can't wait for more of it. I was actually coming to see if it was possible to get a little bit of coding help. I'm currently using Vahnyas template for twine and am having issue getting the progress bar to work. (such as go up or down with choices.) I was wondering if there was a way to use the current codes supplied in the code or if I would have to use a new one?

Hi Anon! Can you let me know what you mean by the progress bars?

I helped a friend with Vahnya's second template to get stat bars that change dynamically with the variables they are associated with, since those weren't coded in for whatever reason. I made a macro for that friend that I haven't shared since it is specific to Vahnya's second template, but I can share the code with you! Is that what you mean? Are you using the first or second? I think we can work something out together!

I would appreciate it greatly if you can DM me on Tumblr (uroboros-main, since this one doesn't accept DMs as I am sharing it with a friend) or Discord (my user is mistyrious. -- with a period!) so I don't clog up anyone's dashboard with specific coding asks, hehe :)

are you an artist who wants to get away from big site-builders like squarespace & have a place to put your work that isn't social media? i threw together a super basic portfolio code template you can use to make your own website!

it should be easy enough to customize if you have a basic understanding of what html and css are. features include:

responsive to fit on different screen sizes

fairly compact — less than 300 lines of css, and you never have to look at anything after line 30 if you don't want to

customizable fonts, colors, image sizes, and decorations right at the top of the css

image gallery with a lightbox function (clicking an image to make it bigger)

free to customize to your heart's content!

hi! the icons in your bloomy theme are not showing up anymore.

Hi there! I'm aware unpkg.com is becoming more and more unstable, where certain themes using phosphor icons, had them hosted through.

You can find this in the code though:

https://unpkg.com/@phosphor-icons/web

and replace it with: https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@phosphor-icons/web

This goes for all themes affected by it (I only believe it's one or two).

I'll be updating the themes in the coming days.

edit: Bloomy has been updated! I also implemented my UnifyAudio script.

I just saw a post with Caine in Kinger's robe and I immediately wondered what that would be like in your au because Kinger is BIG and Caine is NOT. It'd be a whole hill of robe with Caine's head popping out of the fluff somewhere. Kinger could genuinely trap Caine with that robe bc Caine panics and forgets he can literally teleport.

For sure, Kinger's coat is HUGE on Caine no matter what size Kinger is; even at his smallest, his coat is like the size of two bed blankets!

He loves sleeping in it thinking he's in Kinger's arms. He considers it a safe space whenever he gets stressed out <3
