Pride Parenting Clothes (recolours of basegame items)

Here is a set of Sims 4 recolours related to queer parenting. There are lots of Sims 4 pride items around, and i’m thankful for them all, but I couldn’t find many specifically relating to families. And the Sims 4 is a game wherein a popular playstyle is raising families throughout the generations. So I have created some quick recolours for a proud nontraditional family to wear in the Sims 4!

Adult clothes are standalone, while the toddler and children clothes add swatches to the original shirts.

Adult Clothes

Standalone recolour of a base-game long-sleeved shirt.

Two designs for each word, one with a hatchling icon, and one without. The ones with hatchling icons are designed to be worn by a Sim who is pregnant, to show they have an egg in the oven, but this is just a recommended use and you can do what you want ofc.

From my research, I could find no one predominant gender-neutral term for parents. I have included four, but there are several more, this is far from all-encompassing.

Here are the words on each one, with explanations for the gender neutral terms.

Mada (Combination of “Mama” and “Dada”)

Pear (🍐. An informal abbreviation of the word “Parent”, by way of the terms Mum or Dad)

Renny (Another abbreviation of the word “Parent”, this time by way of the terms Mummy and Daddy)

Zaza (Based on the popular non-binary Ze/Zir or Xe/Xir pronouns)

Toddler/Child clothes

Added swatches for toddler and child clothes

Rainbow Icon (no words)

Unicorn. Words: “Buck gender roles.”

Brown shirt with words. Words: “Raise all kids the same.” (This was meant to say “Raise kids the same way”, and that would have sounded a lot better, can we pretend I didn’t brainfart there please.)

Yellow shirt with aspiration icons. Words: “I can be anything.”

4 files in a merged package only. Since S4S can separate packages now, I suggest you use that option if you want to pick and choose.

*And by ‘not much stuff for families’, I mean the only thing I found these onesies for toddlers by @pixiesandghosts which i love, and you should totally also download.

BASEGAME Harbinger Kitchen in 28 colors.

The EA-Kinda colors have a double countertop option, black and white, the others 10 wood colors come in only a black countertop. I’ve changed the palette a bit since the last recolours so there are different shades of green, yellow, EAWood and such. 

IMPORTANT The only cabinets that are recoloured are the one shown in the preview, all the other variant I couldn’t get to work (no idea why, I tried with S4S but I couldn’t come around it so I gave up).

Recolours of a simple AM top from CL. The original is hidden, so this version is standalone and basegame compatible. White or gray sweat base with colourful sleeves. Some come with designs nabbed from or inspired by S3 Uni.

Recolours of two shirts I originally made for Simmerapple last summer. I was not feeling to great back then and never got around to posting them.

The tanktop was made by MySimLifeFou. Since the content on their Tumblr seems to have been deleted at some point, I have added their original file (which contains the mesh) into the RAR. Base texture from the game; straight colours or with a sweat overlay. One hedgehog design, because it’s adorable. ;P

Every time i try to make a new sim their face is missing except for their teeth (which is creepy AF).

Some of my merged CC doesn’t show in game (i have the latest version of S4S).
