Controversial hot take: the Princess Bea in the rwrb movie isn't the bea from the books. Not that she's different, it's literally not the same character. The character Ellie Bamber plays in the movie is very sweet and supportive, yes, but is missing every fundamental aspect of Bea's character from the books, from her fierce rebellion to fashion sense to her self-destructive tendencies to her guitar/violin set up to her understanding of grief to her role in the super six.
