I just looked it up and saw the New York Times article! Camille was spotted again at the Beachwood Cafe a few months ago as well. Harry singing about the cafe in one of his songs definitely popularized the place. Ultimately, she has very good taste so I would trust that it is nice. She gained more of a following when she was with Harry. I am personally a fan of his, but Camille and Harry have been separated for a long time now. Fine Line is a masterpiece though and my favorite album from him. She influenced him in many ways and they both share a love of art and eclectic music too. At the end of the day, I am just glad that people have stopped their hatred toward her. She is a very nice person to our knowledge. She seems like a joy to be around! But I have one tiny question. Is Beechwood cafe linked to camille? And wandering hands too? I always saw the song as very close to him...so i thought there wouldn’t be stunt lines in there....😘😊

Hey, anon! Well, Hamille was slightly annoying for the amount of connections they tried to create in the album and Beachwood Cafe was certainly one of those. I believe they were once there together, and then she was seen there alone a few times and Harry was papped there too… and then promo was over and neither of them showed up there ever again 🤣 And that was it! I don’t know if the song was already written and they tried to create a connection with what they already had or if it was placed there as a stunt line. As for “wandering hands”, people associate that with their breakup and that he cheated on Camille, but I never really saw that line as that anyway, so I’m not sure if this even makes any sense. I still think it’s a very honest and autobiographical song, though, like I mentioned in that ask you’re referring to.

Something similar happened with other songs, like Canyon Moon, IIRC she posted references to it on her Instagram. So yeah FL marketing strategy was very focused on that breakup narrative and it worked pretty well, so 🤷‍♀️
