I can tell an otome game will be good when I like at least two of the dateable characters early on. If only one really appeals to me to begin with then I'm unlikely to remain interested enough to keep playing. I'm a two boyfriends kind of guy to begin with, but also it's hard to stay invested in the group dynamic if they're not really characters I'd wanna be around as a whole.

That being said, I'm really liking this one I just started. It's got a guy I'm immediately super invested in and everyone else seems fun too. I also like the protagonist she's really witty and I can relate to it easily, as opposed to the standard "self insert ready" protagonist. She's still that of course but with some spice.
