alright! so! quick (2 paragraph lol sorry) crash course! the mormon church is more formally known as The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. this is noted bcs i think its important to know that the church Is a branch of christianity!

the main difference between the church and other branches of christianity is that we believe that we have the restored gospel! to elaborate, we believe that during the years christ was gone, his church and doctrine began falling apart - misinterpretation, mistranslation, etc, all playing a role. the power of both the aaronic priesthood and the melchezidic priesthood was lost. sure, we also have the book of mormon (+ the doctrine&covenants and the pearl of great price), but the reason we have those in the first place is because the priesthood was restored to us.

the subtitle of the book of mormon is "another testemant of jesus christ". basically, you know all those times that jerusalem got destroyed in the old testemant? well, one of those times, this guy lehi takes his family and his pals and goes to the american continent! and then the book of mormon chronicles what happened to him and his many descendants, ending when they all... destroyed each other in war. the doctrine&covenants and the pearl of great price are both stuff from the prophets and apostles in the early days of the church! also, joseph smith (the "founder" of the church) did a retranslation of some parts of the bible. pretty neat!

now that thats out of the way, ur question - where to learn more! if there's a mormon church anywhere in your area (which is pretty likely, esp if u live in the usa) then you can reach out to that church and/or any missionaries on the area! u can attend church at a mormon church without being a member, and plenty of ppl do! ppl r very welcoming there! the missionaries can always teach u more! also, if u download the lds gospel library app (or use the library), u have access to all the lds materials! this is the bible, book of mormon, etc, but other stuff too. for example, theres the 3-volume book "saints" which is all about church history! its very detailed but not hard to listen to or read at all, and it focuses on individuals to help paint the story of how the church formed and was built (i love saints if u cant tell)

i love being mormon and wouldnt trade it for anything. however i feel like warning u that at the moment, the church has a bit of a toxic culture regarding queer stuff, and it can be rlly hard to deal with esp as a queer person who genuinely believes in all the true concepts that the church upholds. but! its absolutely not impossible! #queerstake right here on tumblr is a shining example <3

anyway im only one mormon teenager on the internet, so id suggest checking out the gosepl library, talking to missionaries, and even attending a session on sunday to see what its like if u feel like it. also go ahead and look thru the #queerstake and #tumblrstake tags, bcs theres a lot of both rlly good insight and rlly good community there! feel free to reach out to other posters in that tag for more info if this wasn't sufficient ^^ and good luck, anon!!

Would you recommend Playing Star Rail to anyone? Why or why not?

no, i wouldn't. my own dislike of turn based games aside, here are the reasons:

1.Way too little content. Right now there are basically two regions and a starter area. Each has like 6-8 maps, every map is just corridors with like 10-11 chests and couple of puzzles on some maps. You go through basically all of it during main quests. They just released second half of the second archon quest. There are like some side quests, but they play pretty quickly. You can go through all of this in like a week max if you play slowly and bc some quests\puzzles are time-locked to make them feel longer.

There is simulated universe, which is fun at the start, but once you build your characters and figure out best buffs, it also becomes boring, because it's the same enemies in the same corridors. I enjoyed it for like a week, and now I play it once a week for rewards and thats it, which takes like 40 min.

There is also like hsr's equivalent of abyss. Idk, you can theoretically replay same fights over and over there until you get 3 stars, but like. I mean, if that's your cup of tea, I'm not kinkshaming, but personally I play through it once and that's it. so like. another hour in a week mb.

2.So, once you burn through available content, there is literally nothing to do but grind resources. I explain to you my daily routine:

1.log in. Do daily rewards missions for primos.

2.use autoplay to grind resources. mb upgrade characters if you can

3.log off.

because there is no exploration in hsr, there is literally nothing to do but replay abyss and simulated universe over and over

3.Again, because there is no exploration and limited number of quests, it's literally impossible to get primos if you want them without spending. You can only get them from daily rewards (like 60 I think?) and events. Like, if you already did quests and abyss, that's it, you can't get even one wish per day. say what u want about genshin, but if you actually play the game, you can get 2-5 wishes daily just from exploration and quests. And there are roughly bazillion more quests in genshin, bc it's a huge game that was out for years. I have 100% exploration on my main account in every region and I still have like 20 quests and hangouts not done there despite playing for like 1,5 years.

so in genshin, if you want a character and you spent your free event wishes etc, you can grind the primos for free. I know, bc I do on my new f2p acc, like you can get like 100 wishes per banner which guarantees at least one 5 star. I started Kazuha's banner with 0 savings. spent 30 whishes on kazuha and then 70 on alhaitham and then stopped pulling bc i didn't want to main alhaitham again lol, so probably could get another 5 star on hard pity.

In hsr, you can do nothing, but spend money. Like, I started Luocha banner with 15 wishes saved and at the end of his banner I was at 70 pity. I couldn't even get to 5 star pity. I happened to get him on the last day on 73 pity and win 50-50. But if I didn't, I couldn't go grind like in genshin, I could just spend.

So I think gatcha monetization feels much more predatory in hsr bc once you're through very limited content, you're out of options.

TLDR: play this game if you, like me, need to waste time and only have your phone on you. Like I'm often bored at work, this is why I make shitposts on tumblr and have several other time-wasting apps. Also make sure you're won't be tempted to spend money on gacha. Please don't spend money on this game guys. Its turn based, its easier than genshin, you literally DO NOT NEED strong characters to play, and like. Paying money so game can auto-play itself is just insane to me. Please don't. You can find cool looking anime art on the internet for free.

Straight up porn is technically banned and I advise NOT putting it on your main blog since it could get the account put into adult mode (which puts a lot of limits on the account like hidden for some users, not searchable, no proper blog only the logged in dashboard mode) If its tasteful lewds, continue.

Step 2: Is there a lot of liquid happening

From what I've heard the dividing line on if a post is flagged or not lately is how much liquid is happening, if not much then continue

Step 3: Tags & Labels.

Okay now for what you actually asked lol. The tag "NSFW" is shadow banned. It will get your post flagged. There ARE alternatives though, I've seen NSFT (not safe for tumblr) as the main one but I'm sure you can also find more if you get specific in your searches.

THE THING IS: using just tags can get you reported. Because we have a brand new feature too. If you're using the BETA post editor there's a button by the post button that says "Everyone" in there is a menu for labeling the post with mature themes.

It's up in the air if this will effect your post getting into searches, I've seen them in the wild of searches but you'll find that on tumblr it's not always consistent. But what it will do is make sure people under 18 do not see it!! Oh and you can still put tags on it to reach people.

Yeah fair, basically if you think you fit within the vague constraints outlined here you can post with the mature label and be fine (probably) you can also try to post without it at risk of being reported. You can use tags either way and you should still come up in searches, just not for kiddies (and not for users that haven't turned off the filter in the settings, thats on them though, people who don't check their settings regularly deserve horny jail to me) ALSO super don't use tags that don't apply, you'll get mega reported. Nobody wants an ass jumpscare.

If your post does get flagged you probably have too much liquid or used tags that tumblr did not like. You can edit the post and contest it or just make a new post. If you're worried about your whole account getting flagged then experiment on a side, (sides can be flagged without hurting your main) but you can also contest this status too.

Alright kiddos, Daddy Jace is going to sit you all down for a long post. With twitter (and probably tumblr?) implementing genai i decided to take it upon myself to test both Nightshade and Glaze so you don't have to. Or to maybe clear some stuff up regarding both programs bc i myself was not able to find info on the quality in relation to stylized art! I'm risking my own butt for this lol

lets start with Glaze since that's just what i opened first. for clarity sake, this is what I'm chucking into it. i decided to go with 3 levels of images, starting with a basic no background fairly simplistic piece, a more detailed subject, and a full background piece from a long abandoned wip in favor of redoing it in a sense.

now there are 3 main settings I've noticed for glaze, its a default medium and high setting (there's render times too, but for this test I'm staying on the default render time which is medium and takes about 2 minutes per image)

For the most part it hasn't crazily distorted my images but you can still see some discoloration in the art. not a big deal for me personally, as you can still make out what's going on just fine. it gets pretty rough in some of the background on the big image, but thats probably the worst of it for this setting. next we will do medium!

haha ooookay just for your knowledge, I'm writing this in real time. OKAY yeah so, medium is where you will see the diminishing return it seems, while it probably really fucks with ai, unfortunately at this point my images look pretty distorted especially in backgrounds and high detail areas. but i will do high just in case anyway

Yeah so this is where the full distortion happens in all 3. again, you can still see the subject and key details, but its a bit unsavory isn't it?

now i want to make something clear. the program itself will give you feedback if the protection is enough, and for all of these tests it was fine so unless you aren't too worried about how the pictures look on social media (ie, if you share a full version in patreon/send the raw com to the owner) you can most likely choose default without any issues.

we are moving onto nightshade! in nightshade it has roughly the same UI, with the option to select a poison tag. we will come back to this later ass you can only use it on 1 image at a time. its settings are low, default, and high with similar rendering times and i will be using the same images to test them out :D starting with the low setting!

Now, i don't know if its just because I'm fresh out of the high settings from glaze, but i personally prefer this setting on my artwork. it doesn't have as much of the "oilspill" look that glaze has and is harder to notice the distortion at a glance. onto the default setting though!

Once again, prefer this over the medium for my style in particular. a lot less muddling and color distortion . obviously still there, but not effecting the details as much. High next!

This is definitely the too much gene lol however i would compare it to the medium of the glaze. Though, and this is important, please choose based off what you feel fits your needs. for me, nightshade is what i will use but it wont be the same for everyone. i just hope this gives a good comprehension on what each program does! now, to explain the tagging. in batches it will automatically tag, but it seems this is just to make an invisible coded footprint if you will in everything you do. you can overwrite them in your results, or if you do image by image (ie, if you make a new image, and put it through nightshade) you can tag it there. i will personally just be using my username as my tag going forward. and to show how that looks on an image with standard settings just to show that's its not effecting your image any extra on a visual front.

basically theres 3 of them ok.

cody, a noob who loves playing fighting games and helping people get their footing in them. very silly, very kind, and has a bestie thats a guest named horns [horns is my friends oc :3]. cody ALSO has a bit of a slow moving "curse" that is the result of their arm being Fucking Cut Off. its a corruption in their code that is slowly spreading across their body, which will end up with their entire set of code and body being Basically unraveled from the inside out in a way thats Worse than death ! :D they spend most of their time trying to figure out a way to undo that while still being the same happy person. they see blade [other oc] as a brother figure once the two meet!

blade is a bounty hunter of sorts, who goes after exploiters to make the world safer for people, thanks to his own experiences as a kid with exploiters. he is VERY good at his job, having been training since he was a younger teen, and has been doing his job for anywhere from 15-20 years [havent decided.] his current target is inkcap, his childhood friend and previous crush. its a whole thing. also, hes the one who saved cody from being COMPLETELY killed during their exploiter encounter!

inkcap is . well. the exploiter mentioned previously. instead of their encounter with exploiters driving it to better itself and help others, its trauma [and also blade leaving it when they were both 15 to go on his first mission, and then just. never coming back] had led it to lean into its trauma, and learn the same exploits that hurt it, and more. it decides that if it couldnt be happy anymore, if it lost everything and everyone it loved, then no one else should be able to have these things - because no one tried helping it when it needed it. its the one who attacked cody, and the one blade is currently hunting down - but inkcap is sneaky, and good at its own "job," being the most infamous exploiter - and for good reason.

the whole story with these three is the different ways people deal with trauma, mostly the.. unhealthy ways, and their very, VERY slow path to healing and getting better. it has a happy ending! it just takes a long time to get there. they all have a Lot of stuff to work through.

oh god yeah i never have posted a summary of wtf is going on have i. i just draw random shit LOL. ok lemme try to say all this without taking forever. um before i start i want to mention that im making the story with my friend who isnt on tumblr! i do most of the worldbuilding for promethea itself (and the creature design for all of cassandra) and they are in charge of another group of people who are pretty important lol. theres a LOT going on, so im just gonna focus on the main thing for now but if you want to know EVERYTHING then i can go over it all lmao

the story focuses on dawn (friend's character) who used to be a part of a group of sun god worshippers that were in charge of guarding the prison of a dragon named cinder. dawn was going to be the next warden/priest and in charge of keeping the prison secure, but a follower of cinder broke in and killed almost everyone there when dawn was a young child. they escaped when a wolf named theo led them to safety. afterwards, they were found and taken in by the king of promethea, jack. after a while, dawn realizes that something is wrong with him. hes being possessed, and its by the god of death. no one else is aware of this, since its been going on since he was a child and hes "himself" most of the time. however, as time goes on, its getting worse and worse and dawn starts looking for a way to help him. during their search, they find a woman named anuba, who strangely enough is looking for the same thing. well pretty quickly they realize that they both know jack, him and anuba being partners when they went to school together. so they start working together. unfortunately this sort of thing doesnt really. happen. ever. and they keep coming up with dead ends.

eventually one of them (not sure who yet, this bitch of a story is still a work in progress <3) comes up with the idea of calling on the sun god for help. the important thing here is that this god isnt the god of the sun, shes the god of damn everything. shes represented by the sun because of how powerful she is. the problem with her is since she's so huge and powerful, getting her attention is nearly impossible, even for someone like dawn who came from a group of her worshippers. anuba suggests letting the dragon whos locked up, cinder, out, since this god was the one who locked cinder up. dawn doesnt like the idea since cinder was locked up after she attempted to destroy all of cassandra, but they dont have many other options. anuba, who's desperate for literally any solution at this point, gets frustrated and goes off on her own to let cinder out anyway.

cinder is free.

now, there are two pieces of information that have been hidden from everyone up until this point. one, cinder is not just a dragon, she is a god, and she is the god who created cassandra. and two, cinder and the god that has been possessing jack are working together, and have been since the beginning. and jack is the one who killed the sun worshippers.

at this point, jack is beyond saving. hes too far gone and basically dead. his body is being used by the death god and when dawn returns, it attempts to kill them and theyre forced to finally kill him. dawn and anuba end up working together again, this time to kill cinder.

and yeah thats it. the ending is a bit rough cuz like i said its still a work in progress and jesus H christ this is so goddamn long already i need to fucking stop i hope this makes sense sorry for taking literally all day to answer its bc im atrocious at writing and it kept getting confusing LOL. theres a bunch of important shit ive left out bc of. the length. so if you have questions pls ask them

ive just watched your like 'how i make a gif' video, like the sped up process, and firstly, i had no idea how complicated it was but also (I feel like this is so stupid) but I can't for the life of me, work outr what you're actually doing?? i have no experience w photoshop so that probs doesn't help but i honestly like have no idea what like the sliders and stuff are for,, ty :)

i’m so glad you wrote this back bc that’s exactly why i made that video! gifmaking process is different for every gifmaker (the feedback i received was very funny bc we all do stuff completely different to one another). and as ames put it a few days back, it’s not only the time we spend making the gifs but perfecting the best way to make them, perfecting our sharpening, coloring and overall process

anyways, i’ll try to explain how my process works the best and simplest way i can :-)

1. choosing the clips: as you may see, the first thing i do is select the piece of footage i want to make into a gif, and to make my process simpler, i pre-trim a video into specific moments (these are my clips) and then, i select from that clip the moment i want to gif.

2. selecting the frames: then, once the clip is selected and imported onto photoshop, i now have to select the frames i will use for each gif. as you may know, most footage is in either 30fps or 60fps. fps= frames per second. so in my video, the footage was 60fps, meaning each second has 60 frames in my workplace. usually for a gif, i choose between 60-100 frames. this is where the first magic happens: i will carefully choose which frames i want to present to make the gifset look nice, while also thinking about how many gifs i will make. so in this example i did 4 gifs of 100 frames each (they need to be under 10M, if it went over that size i would remove frames). i wish choosing these moments were easy for me, but i’m obsessed with movement and little moments, so this alone can take me about half an hour in total lol

3. resizing: tumblr posts have a length of 540px (pixels), so your gif needs to be this size. the height is optional, and for the example that one had a height of 450px which is quite big if you multiply it by 4 gifs ! but also making your height bigger means more pixels available so better quality, but also a more heavy gif (which might result in less frames)

4. sharpening: do you know how some gifs look crispy and sometimes grainy? well this is made in this step. i think sharpening is vital to make the gif more professional looking. you can’t see how much sharpen i added because i made this with an action, but trust me it’s there heh. and to sharpen the whole gif and not just one frame, i need to turn the gif into what is called a “smart object”, meaning everything i add, either sharpen or grain, will be added to each of the frames i selected.

5. coloring: then once you have your gif ready, it’s time for the fun part: making your gif look nice! and you can see that i have many many layers that change the way the gif looks. for example, you have the brightness/contrast adjustment layer, which changes exactly that in the gif. or selective color allows me to change each color of the gif individually, etc. i made a coloring tutorial a while back, and although i don’t color like that anymore, i still use most of the same adjustments.

then repeat this process for the amount of gifs you want to make and post them on tumblr.com where it will get more likes than reblogs fjskfn. and that’s it for a simple gifset! now, blending, captioning, using fonts, making layouts… thats another thing that takes a lot longer, but the basic process stays the same.

First we need to understand that with recent news, it has been revealed that Trigger had 80% of its original content removed due to covid19 which made filming difficult. It originally meant to feature 3 seperate ultras, which makes some scenes it trigger quite abit of sense like the scene where all the forms of trigger were summoned in the past as they were meant to be 3 different ultras.

And because i suppose that said content was removed at the last minute, the missing links throughout the series left gaping holes which werent adequately addressed (see my commentaries for the all the exact details)This lead to really, REALLY weird pacing of the series.In fact i think i said that Trigger had the weirdest pacing of any series iirc. Now with that in mind, I wouldve purely made Trigger as a single feature from the get go(Which was for the best as we can see from the sales, and it looks like Trigger-Decker-New Gen Gaia is about to repeat the Ultraman Franchise's greatest success ever again like with Tiga-Dyna-Gaia)And i based my direction on what the Tiga movie severely lacked. Which was context and personal connection

In general, Trigger's first 9 episodes had a really, REALLY slow pacing, followed by 10 episodes' worth of content being crammed in ep 10 and 11 before it reverted back to the typical New Gen formula. So the first few episodes wouldve been used to show Trigger and Carmilla's relationship. This totally bypasses the whole wonky plotpoint of random spacetime holes spawning outta nowhere at REALLY convenient times and it also sets the tone for the rest of the seriesWhich resolves 2 of the biggest issues of the series as well, that being as said, the weird plot device that is the time travelling and Trigger/Carmilla's relationship, hich we can properly see how their relationship developed. Specifically, iirc i mentioned that there should be a repeat of Tiga's pantheon's lore here

That being a entire subset species of AU DoL ultras had an internal conflict with either another seperate species of ultras, being the dark giants, fanning the flames of civil war or even came amongst them etc.

Then the story progresses to a point to where we saw Trigger's doubt in his actions when he learnt from Yuzare that messing with the Eternity Core would basically destroy the whole universe. And we shall see a great expansion of Trigger's internal conflict that was shown in the series. But this time, with a more romantic touch. Like the 3 dark giants were too arrogant and eager to accept that they would mess up. But Trigger voiced out that the stakes are ridiculously high(Also before this, we can also see how Trigger's relationship with Dargon and Hudram developed as well). Carmilla still insists that Trigger should gain the power first, similar to what we saw. And then he pointed out that he does not want to gain power at the expense of losing his only friends. Especially Carmilla. And at this point i would like to offer a crossroads of how the story progresses. Itll have to come to a point where the Dark giants leave Trigger no choice but to stop the other dark giants

Either Hudram, being power hungry as seen, insists and hypes everyone to ignore him which eventually leads to Trigger having no choice but to stop them, thereby gaining his light form with the eternity core granting powers to him in the form of strength and sky type (in this story, im making the Eternity Core another ultra power source), which then they have no choice but to fight it out

Or, Zabil did the fanning of flames which would be an appropriate reveal for the episode Z movie later as my story progresses. But in my old essay, i chose the former so i just stick with that

So ye, the whole "turning to stone" scene would be explained under my direction as well. Because Trigger did not have the heart to kill his friends and lover, he only wished to stop them

And because ultra power sources are sentient, but in the case of the Eternity Core, being able to extract the power (via yuzare as well) would turn them to stop. So Trigger simply held them off until they all turned to stone like with the series

Fast forward 30 million years later, Trigger awakens by a kaiju attack (similar to in Tiga). Makes sense considering Carmilla was awakened after 30 million years of asteroid bombardment

He then adopts a human form as Kengo. Then the other Dark giants awaken

And they saw Trigger's actions 30 million years ago as betrayal then they go about the usual fighting, but this time, Trigger and Carmilla's dialogue would be wayyyy more interesting and logical given their past relationships. Same with Dargon. But with Hudram still being the most stubborn

Up till she awakens Trigger's dark form by force again, thinking that the power of light is "corrupting his thoughts". Which even then, Trigger still maintains and stands by what he thinks. Which he finally explains that he dosent see this conflict as Good vs Evil, and that hes trying to go against them to be the "hero of the day". But hes doing all this to protect his friends and Carmilla. Which has nothing to do with light or darkness

Hudram still fans the flames tho. But carmilla and dargon npw attacks with more doubt.

Yuna still grants trigger Glitter Eternity

Then while resting from the fight, hudram keeps complaining and plotting against Trigger.

Dargon and Carmilla then confronts him, finally figuring out that hes been very insistent and ignoring whatever Trigger said. Then it all ends with Hudram leaving the dark giants. Inwardly plotting to destroy them all and take the power for himself by allying with other aliens (like what we saw). Carmilla then asks Trigger out to meet to resolve their issues, then with Dargon as well

Fast forward, itll come to a point where Hudram attacks the 2 dark giants with a league of allied aliens.

Trigger, being the strongest held most of them off while carmilla lays beaten. Carmilla, feeling what Trigger had felt 30 milliom years ago, the feeling to protect

(And actually whats been happening in the background of all this was that the GUTS Select members also know of this story and Yuna and Carmilla have also been talking to resolve their differences as well)

Yuna's power then responds to Carmilla, recognizing her as another one with the light (since shes the priestess) and thus grants her with the power to cleanse her darkness

(So in this story, the Eternity Core would work more differently but more logically that it can use its powers to cleanse darkness and even imbue an ultra with its own powers, but it can only be done when it recognizes a worthy ultra, similar to most ultra power sources today)

With Carmilla's light form, healing Dargon and GE working together, they are able to push back. Which the aliens then decide to retreat, against Hudram's wishes. So being enraged, he stupidly decides to take on all of them. But they still saw Hudram as their friend and kept trying to get him to see the light. But him, being too power hungry as usual, didnt listen and ended up leaving being badly beaten and swearing revenge

Story progreses up till a point where Hudram manages to kidnap yuna, with the aliens holding off the rest (dargon also gets his light form somewhere in between) enough for them to come and witness him becoming Megalozoa

Story progresses till Trigger awakens Truth and like Tiga, supercharged by the Eternity Core and everyones wishes, defeats Megalozoa.

Thats more or less iirc. Skipped some details but this would be the general flow of the story. Everyone had high hopes for Trigger and Carmilla's relationship (including me) so i expanded upon that. And personally, i always wished Carmeara survived. Plus in this iteration, Dargon as well. So i incorporated them in my own story

Long post about something I think about a lot and that doesn’t matter to anyone else but me probably

I’m sure there’s a million posts out there on why good representation is important and good but I just wanted to talk shortly about something that happened to me in a recent span of a few months involving a character in a dumb game about collecting jpegs of anime women and hunky dudes with giant swords.

There’s a game called Granblue Fantasy, its an extremely popular gacha game/JRPG with a very large roster of characters and a lot of stuff to do as far as reading through character lore, fighting JRPG battles, raids, and basically playing VNs for character dialogue. It’s a pretty good game, and one of the coolest things about it, is it has (to my knowledge, I dont play/keep up with it very often) 2 canon trans characters. One is named Cagliostro, an alchemist who was born as a man but through extensive experimentation and some self discovery has since transitioned into a woman, hell bent on making herself as cute as possible. Fun right? She’s presented extremely well and is one of the game’s more fun characters. The second character is one that has become a personal favourite for me for many reasons, her name is Ladiva.

Ladiva is a part of a race of people called the Draph. The Draph are a humanoid, and pretty much human looking, race of people with their defining features being their large stature and bovine like horns and ears. This is important because male draph are usually much larger and more muscular than female draph (but its a horny anime game so who can say they’re surprised lol). Ladiva, as my discussion here makes obvious, is a trans woman belonging to these folk. Because of this, she’s both quite large, muscular(and more masculine presenting on the surface), and has rugged looking facial hair. The surprising thing about her presentation in comparison to how she looks, is that she’s presented incredibly well. despite her appearance being not as feminine as it could be (with Cagliostro even offering to make her a new totally feminine body only to have Ladiva refuse, stating that she should love her own body along with the rest of herself) she’s treated as what she is, a woman.

So why am I talking about this? Why am I putting my poorly put together thoughts on this tumblr post no one will read? Well, I am trans. I have felt a certain way about myself all my life that I’m sure most trans people can echoe so I won’t wast time waxing poetic about how I’ve always felt more feminine than I was “supposed” to be. My core purpose of this post comes from the fact that I am 6′2, nearly 300lbs of muscle/fat/body hair, and have had a full beard since I was 14. I am EXCEEDINGLY masculine, which has made my own internal struggle with my transness sort of difficult to accept. A sort of constant push and pull of wanting to just repress it all because I already pass as a man and wanting to work towards being who I know I actually am. Another factor is that I never felt truly comfortable with purely feminine pronouns. In highschool I went by a different name, and I used she/her pronouns and for a while it felt okay. But it was always just, okay. It never felt right on top of several people giving me some rather hurtful backlash for it and how it contrasted so much with my physical appearance. So I stowed it all away until about a year ago. I now have something that I didn’t have before, a truly wonderful and supportive group of adult friends who treat me like an adult as well and take me seriously. So through careful examination of how I felt i began trying new things to explore my identity. It began with me deciding I wanted to use they/them pronouns, this stuck and still feels like its the right thing for me along with the label of Nonbinary. However, slotting myself into this new label and finally feeling comfortable in an identity brought about new thoughts as well as new things to mull over in my head. Things like the fact that most nonbinary representation in media falls under the same category of a waifish AFAB person who presemts femininely if not androgynous, and how people like me are a vocal minority within the community itself even being excluded by a small portion of it. It was a new set of things to tackle and think about. But that aside, with them came the most important thing I asked myself, “am I comfortable with how I am now? Or do those thoughts I had all those years ago mean something?”

This question isnt easy. Gender is a strange subject and is different to everyone who experiences something with their identity, so I wont pretend like I have any definitive answers for anything because, there arent really any of those. The question for myself, boiled down to “Am I more comfortable identifying as transfeminine, or am I comfortable with just being nonbinary.” This question vexed me for a little while. It hurt to think about. A lifetime of bullying and being made to be ashamed of my body type and stature had made my confidence in myself rather lackluster. This made the decision more difficult. It would be easy to try and own a sense of pride in being a masculine presenting nonbinary person. There aren’t many of those in representation as I mentioned before, and at the time it made me feel nice to think that it was what I wanted. But those thoughts I had all those years ago did mean something, and thats not who I am. The answer I ultimately came to, was that I am trans, and want to present more feminine than masculine, because that’s who I know I am, and not just what I think would be easiest. So, to bring it all together, how the everloving fuck does this relate to a character from a gacha game? Well, when i first saw Ladiva I nearly wrote her off as a character that probably was used as a disrespectful  joke on trans women and how they’re viewed. She’s not though. She has an entire montra of loving herself and others for who they are and owning every aspect of herself, including her body. She’s not a small lady, she’s a large/muscular wrestler who, in no mistake of words, still looks very masculine, right down to her facial hair. But none of that matters, not her appearance, not her beard, not her height, she’s still a woman and she’s seen as one by the others around her because, well, that’s what she is. She makes it known and others accept, or at the very least, respect it. It was something entirely new to see something like this in a form of popular media, and in turn it gave me an odd sense of self confidence in my own current appearance, even though I do intend on changing it through HRT and other means (exercise and other health related means). It meant a lot to me to see someone who was, in at least some way, like me who was loved by the community of the game she was in. And it still does. In conclusion, Ladiva is a very cool character, and her existing gave me a boost of confidence that helped lead me towards accepting things about myself that I had found it hard to previously. Go look into Granblue if you like games like that, there’s even a fighting game that came out not too long ago. The Hargreeves siblings are dead.

Ben isn’t very aware of this at first. He’s been dead since 2006 -- he’s quite used to it, by now. What he is aware of, first, is light. Blinding white light. And Vanya, in the middle of it. He doesn’t close his eyes because he can’t feel pain, but if he could he thinks she would have made him blind. There’s light, and heat, and power, and then he closes his eyes anyway because the ceiling is collapsing around him and it’s instinctual.

When he opens them again he sees ash. Ash -- and Klaus.

He’s gotten used to Klaus, too. Klaus has a memorable sort of face; even if he didn’t, Ben has seen it every single day for almost twenty years. He doesn’t know if it’s actually been twenty years, for him. He doesn’t know how time moves for ghosts. Klaus has assured him it moves the same as it does for the living. Ben isn’t sure Klaus, stoned out of his mind, bleeding sluggishly from his arm, knew what he was talking about.

Anyway.

Klaus.

He’s wearing the coat he’s been flaunting around for the past week. His shirt is see-through, with little stars on it, like a pale imitation of the sky. Ben remembers his pants had laces on them, he’s sure they did not a minute ago, before the brightness that threatened to wipe out his very soul -- his soul is all he has left, really. His gaze drifts down anyway, to check.

Yes. Klaus’ pants have laces up the sides.

“No,” Ben says. Klaus is laying in a heap on the ground, his fingers curled like his tendons have been cut.

His lips feel numb because they always feel numb. Because Ben can’t feel at all. He takes a step. “No,” he says again, louder, surer. “No!”

Klaus looks up at him. His makeup is smudged, like it tends to be. His lips are bitten raw, like they tend to be. His hair is a mess, like it tends to be, and like it will be, always, because Klaus isn’t breathing.

Klaus is lying in a heap on the ground. Klaus is standing above his own body. Klaus is reaching for Ben like he’s hoping to touch him for the first time in years. Just when Klaus’ cold, dead, fingers brush his face, a voice from behind says, so quietly, dripping with disbelief: “Ben?”

Ben shuts his eyes and wishes desperately he could cry.

He feels a hand on his shoulder, for the first time in so, so long, but he also doesn’t feel it at all. He feels-but-doesn’t-feel someone turn him around, until they are saying, “Ben? Ben!” and he has no choice but to open his eyes and face the music.

Diego is gripping his shoulders like he is a dying man and Ben is the answer. Behind him, Luther and Allison watch them, stunned silent. Allison’s hands are pressed to her mouth. She looks like she wants to cry. 

And Vanya. Little Vanya, painted white. Her head is hung as her shoulders shake with the weight of the destruction she has so inevitably caused. (Ben would say he always knew she was destined for great things -- but he can’t, because he didn’t.) (Nobody ever said great things had to be good.)

The Hargreeves siblings are dead. Their bodies are strewn across what is left of their childhood home, smouldering and burning, and Ben is very aware of that fact.

righto anyway. so they have an emotional reunion but its also kind of bitter? id have to actually write this for it to make sense so lets skip it for now lol

and now suddenly hes stuck with these strange adult versions of the people he knows and he KNOWS them but also he doesnt? at all? they dont have all the years of shared experiences together? and theyre all grown up from the first ‘set’ of siblings he had which for five was like 40+ years ago??

oh btw if u have any thoughts on like. i suppose small celebs but even like “popular” blogs on tumblr being treated as just channels for people to throw their thoughts at rather than people to engage with, id love to hear!! it’s a weird niche thing i’ve been thinking about a lot but i have no idea how to articulate it and i like how u word things

omg i was literally thinking about this yesterday and mourning all the people who were genuinely interesting and funny and got bogged down by the flood that comes with notoriety where you’re forced to become a one dimensional caricature of yourself. i had typed out a bunch of stuff but it turned into a big block that was hard to understand so like here are my initial thoughts broken into categories and this is not even close to scratching the surface of what i think but. here it is

1. the sheer amount of attention they get. i just know it’s exhausting to even think about posting something. it gets to the point to where every single post comes with the added burden of having to think about every possible response to the post because it’s inevitable that it’ll be taken the wrong way or twisted or misunderstood and you have to decide if it’s even worth it. there’s no way to continue facilitating small discussions at a certain point because you’re bound to have antagonistic viewers or ppl who don’t genuinely want to talk to you and just exist to derail everything so at that point they have to just become like. the most pared down version of themselves possible and be too exhausted to post anything outside of what their audience happily consumes because they can’t deal with the flood that it comes with.

2. the inbox thing!! people do not have boundaries and tend to remove the humanity away from the influencer/blogger (dms and those ask functions on insta stories in terms of influencers in place of asks). like you don’t really view them as a person any more. one thing i’ve noticed on here is a lot of people use popular users’s inboxes as a way to filter their own content and find out what’s “good” or use it as a way to get their own joke/headcanon/whatever into circulation because they don’t get notes. this isn’t when bloggers are talking about something and ppl continue the conversation in asks but like getting asks out of the blue that are literally obviously a tumblr post draft that someone wants to get your approval of is weird and it makes the blogger feel removed from their own sense of humanity as well because they realize they’re sort of being immortalized or turned into a landmark.

3. also continuing on the askbox thing. with both this point and the point i made previously i find myself constantly having to reiterate my boundaries and remind ppl of what is and isnt appropriate to send in an askbox and it is so hard to do without being branded as mean or bitchy. I just remembered I made a post about it here but basically what i said is a lot of ppl use popular bloggers as a stand in therapist or diary and trauma dump while simultaneously guilt tripping ppl into replying. u can read the post i linked for like more thoughts about that. 

4. constantly being watched!! i alr kind of said this but being constantly watched is so overwhelming and kind of trapping in a way, especially with the knowledge that people are looking for any reason to start an argument with you or throw accusations at you.

5. they can get to the point if they’re not careful where their own self image is so warped by it that they buy into the idea that they are like this prominent famous figure. which they might be like thats cool if you are! but you’ve already lost your humanity in the public’s eye and you start to lose your own humanity and morph yourself into the caricature you’ve been presenting because why wouldn’t you! i’ve seen it happen to ppl who gain a little instagram notoriety where they begin to view themselves as a provider or better than others and enter the mindset where people are lucky to be around them and it genuinely deteriorates their ability to keep meaningful relationships bc they lose the ability to separate their persona

ok this was very messy and very surface level and so scattered i wish i had the time to flesh everything out lol but like those r some of the things that came to mind

tl;dr popularity and notoriety strip people of their perceived humanity, exhaust them into becoming caricatures of their former selves, and remove their access to creative outlets or past hobbies because they are constantly being watched and lifted onto a pedestal they never asked to be on

While Jug’s probably beet-red, he can’t help but completely oggle at Veronica- happy that they don’t have to hide from his dad anymore.

Jeronica send a little message to Hiram through security cameras (they just make out lmao), showing that he can’t keep them apart. They then proceed to trash Hiram’s jingle jangle lab. :)

Cut to them dancing in the Wyrm to the song, discussing how they’re going to make their big debut as Riverdale’s resident power couple… second to Choni of course.

“So… now that I’m your queen, I was thinking had a debut of sorts. Just to educate the public of this new order.” Veronica jabs, only kind of joking.

Jughead laughs, but it sounds more of a huff.

“Could you settle for a hand-in-hand entrance at school? Or would you be more comfortable with a red carpet event?”

Just kidding, he’s alive, and he and Veronica have a really cute moment in the bunker. Veronica starts reading his novel, per his request, and he just starts playing this on the record player and she smiles but her eyes are still on the book. He just kind of watches her, and when she starts beaming at the book he can’t help but kiss her right there. Then they just cuddle and little bit, Veronica on Jug’s lap, reading the book some more.

Girls Like GIrls-

Veronica has to prove Jughead is dead, so she and Betty kinda sorta… make out. Like, a lot. Betty is dating Archie at this point, and he’s the one who gets “mad”. But basically Betty and Veronica end up making out again cuz they spot Donna watching them. Veronica is a bi con, and Betty might be too but everyones in denial so *shrugs*.

Dream Lover-

(Time skip, because I’m lazy) Jughead’s alive again, sadly, his spot at NYU was taken by well, Veronica. Luckily, after pulling some strings, she surprises Jug with a full-ride acceptance letter from NYU starting second semester.

Magic Moments-

Yay! Prom! Barchie gets crowned king and queen (Beronica was kind of forgotten about, but thats fine, because we’re here for Jeronica first). While Betty and Archie are totally lost in each other, Jughead and Veronica are just kind of joking around on the side. While it’s Barchie’s moment, Jeronica is still looking pretty damn cute rn. Also, this becomes Barchie’s song!!

The song comes through the speaker at prom, Jughead invites Veronica to dance. As they sway, they gaze at one another like they’re seeing one another for the first time, to the song that started it all.

Genshin Impact theory

So this topic kind of digresses from what I usually post, but I felt the urge to make this post bcs i am too lazy to do my assignments rn.  Jokes aside, I wanted to make this post on tumbler bcs not many ppl posted genshin theory on tumblr ( from what i seen). 

While everyone has been shipping different characters and fangirling/fanboying over them, my friend and I talk way more about the story line and make guesses/theories about what might happen in the future stories. Yes, I have read several theory posts online, and a lot of character related things to come up with my own theory (mixed with what I have read of course).

Spoiler warnings under cut. If you are under AR 29, I suggest you to scroll through unless you want to be spoiled.

Okay this is going to be a hella of messy post. I have made so many theories about the game itself and I am going to organize as I go. 

MC

First things first, lets first talk about twins origin. 

From what has been told so far, it is rather hard to guess what really happened after unknown god (sustainer of heavens) separated them. Who are twins exactly? Well, we don’t know for sure but we can theorize from what we know so far. Let’s list out things that we already know about the twins.

1. Your twin is the ruler of abyss order

2. Your character (MC) possess special power, where you can basically change any element you want 

3. There is a BIG time gap after you got separated from your twin, and before you fish Paimon out of water.

4. MC does not remember what happened during that time gap

Don’t these information raise any questions? 

How did your twin fall “bad” and what is his/her goal? Is she just playing along to achieve whatever her/his goal is or did she/he actually fall bad? 

Why can your character change element? Who is your character exactly?

What happened during those timeframe? 

Another big question is, do you think your character is going to stay “good” until the end? I actually have not thought too much about this until I came across this one vid:

If this vid is really referring to the the twins, maybe it is foreshadowing the future route for our mc. It hints that our mc might turn bad like the other twin (does that mean, the other twin is being brainwashed like what they did with Dvalin?). Was our mc evil before she/he lost memory? or are we just being toyed with?

Characters /Storyline (so far)

There are several character I want to talk about.

1. Paimon

Theres SOOOOO many discussion posts about Paimon and theories about her. The most theory thinks that Paimon is actually that unknown goddess (whom we meet in the beginning) in its weakest form. If this is true, big chances are she is just fooling mc and waiting for the right moment to take over the world. Another theory I read was that maybe she actually forgot all her memories too and she doesn’t know who she is. 

While I think all of these are very convincing theories, I want to put my own version of theory out there: what if Paimon is the Pearl from the video, the one who is trying to make mc walk in the path, believing she is the queen/king of darkness?

Paimon might actually turn out to be good, but who knows? She might be our biggest plot twist. 

2. Childe

Not much of a theory for this guy, but do you guys think this guy can be trusted? After ar 29 story, I started believing this guy has ulterior motive.

There weren’t that many theory about this dude so I will come up with my own:

Theory 1: In lvl 23 story, Childe helps you because he wants you to believe him. It would be way easier for him if there were someone he can “use” , especially when the entire city suspects you (bcs he is a Fatui). He urges you to go tell your version of story to 3 guardian mtn birds (idk what to call them) so that they will listen to your story, before Qixing members got to explain their version (If they believed in Qixing’s story, it would trouble fatui so much). 

Skip to lvl 29, Childe’s actual goal is to take Geo Archon’s Vision (how La Signora took Venti’s). Knowing this, Ningguang and Geo Archon related ppl (adepti) or maybe ever geo god himself, plan to fake death- so that Childe/fatui will give up 

Theory 2. Childe is actually a double spy- he got into Fatui to find their ulterior motives and their goal. 

3. Ningguang (Geo mage)

At first, I thought Ning was a bad person. However, reading about herself, she is just a big business person. I think she is working closely with adepti from Liyue (in secret of course). She knows too well about how letting things out in public is not always good. 

4. Zhong Li

Geo Archon yet to be revealed. Do I need to say more? 

5. Katheryne (Adventure Guild Receptionist)

Theory: she is actually a robot:

*Mondstat and Liyue has exactly same looking Katheryne 

*If you chill out in front of her for long, she murmurs “error” or “rebooting”.

Is someone spying on MC using Katheryn? or are we in a “virtual world” within the virtual world? Is everything in this game “fake”?

Fatui and Abyss Order

My biggest question rn is... Who are fatui?? What are their goals? What do they want to achieve? Are they related Abyss Order? 

One theory is that, Fatui and Abyss Order ARE related (fatui working under Abyss Order). Thats probably why La Signora left MC unharmed, while she attacked Venti. Either mc is/was someone important to Abyss Order (eventually), or maybe the other twin ordered them NOT to harm his/her twin in any way. 

But then this is JUST a theory. 

Conclusion

Well, this is pretty much it. We could go on about different characters too, but that would take forever lol
