I didn't think the Twitter thing could get worse but it did

1. So Musk sent emails to European Twitter employees, firing them. Problem is, you cannot legally fire people that way here, so legally they're still employed and legally owed money for their time. But also, firing people as exists in the USA doesn't exist here...

2. Firing requires a breach of a term in the employee's contract. Even then 2 written warnings are expected. You can lay people off. That requires notice and compensation by local law and written documentation submitted to local governments explaining why the layoffs are necessary.

3. Legally all these people are still employed, even though they have now apparently been shut out of Twitter networks. Lawsuits are coming.

4. Elon also asked his remaining employees to work long hours. But for his remaining employees here, doing so requires notifying the local government and the union. There entities have the right to enquire about the necessity of this. So this is another legal breach.

5. Elon has taken over a global company and is acting like it is a purely American entity. And only seems to care about its cultural impact in that country. This all supports the idea that his reason to takeover the company is politically driven.

i know I can't say this on twitter but tumblr's a safe space right. no elon bullshit here right. ok so last night I had a dream that I killed elon musk by brutally stabbing his head and my brain visualized it as chopping up a cake at mach 11 speed. then I got really nervous and scared bc I didn't mean to actually kill him but my parents who were there (who coincidentally got assaulted by elon's drunken daze earlier, hence why I killed him to defend them) said that everything would be ok and they would cover for me by scattering his remains in an open field where eventually a tree would grow from his burial and no one would have to know it's him. and his death could remain a mystery forever. upon hearing this I was content but thought, "I'm definitely gonna have a nightmare tonight about how I killed elon musk" and then I had like 6 random dreams afterwards before I woke up

okay so kind of an unpopular opinion but as much as i want limbus outis to have her lovely wife penelope, i want them to be divorced as fuck.

i want the way they speak to each other to be filled with as much snarkiness, tension and unresolved feelings as possible. yet with a little bit of yearning and at least one of them reminiscing about better times. i want them to act like they have each other contact names set as "ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT" hope at least one person gets it.
