soo ive been tagged by @i-am-an-atomic-bomb to name six albums ive been listening to a lot lately :) thank you! recently ive been having lots of putting on a specific song and listening to it a bunch of times moments so i havent been listening to whole albums as much but! i do listen to them. soo there we go (in no particular order):

1. umowa o dzieło by taco hemingway. listening to taco unironically helps me fall asleep sorry.

2. makes me sick, makes me smile by pretty sick. ive come across one of their singles on youtube i think (?) sometime during july and ever since i found out theyre releasing an album ive been really excited for it. check it out. it's good.

3. the mad gear and missile kid (do i even need to say the artist). i guess you could say its technically not an album blah blah blah but whatever. you got rickety bones im turning into some rats etc etc etc. easily sound of the summer and genuinely one of my fave mcr releases.

4. wakage ga itaru by atarashii gakko! one of those times i absolutely havent been disappointed by an artist suggested to me by spotify. i first listened to koi geba and it got stuck into my head so much that i decided to check out the whole album. totally worth it.

5. sprzedałem dupe by zdechły osa. havent been listening to the actual whole album as much but a lot of songs from it have been on my heavy rotation. i almost saw him live... im like genuinely upset over not making it cause a lot of my friends have seen him and apparently he puts on a great show. anyways!

6. le tigre by le tigre. well what can i say. its a classic! thank you kathleen hanna <33

800 yards of hand spun yarn already on its way to becoming a hand knit sweater vest <3

#N posts stuff #i’m going to dye it but i didn’t want to go to the store yesterday so #whenever i get around to it i’ll get around to it lol; but i will probably dye it before i finish knitting #just bc i’m curious about dyeing loose skeins VS awhile fabric; i’m going to go with a muddy green #or perhaps a greenish brown — i haven’t decided on that exact ratio yet #the roving was 100% wool so it’s not the Best texture but that and the yardage made for good sweater vest potential #i managed a decently consistent weight of the yarn which is nice; on the other hand there are Some areas where my plying was too loose but #you know. such is life; it turned out pretty good

I have officially started painting the walls in the living room.

well, I've mixed/adjusted the paint and painted some swatches and put up masking tape and all that stuff. I'll be painting tomorrow. I'm so excited (to get started, but mostly that I'll finally be all done with evvvverything*)

*until I think of the next thing I want to do, and the next one after that, and -

#I'm just so damn happy I actually managed to get everything else done today!! the living room was a mess before #well it's even worse right now but that's because all the furniture is in the middle of the room lol #but yeah I finished unpacking almost everything (there's still a few boxes with like old memory stuff etc. in the storage room but that #doesn't count because we don't use or need that stuff)#and I cleaned and I did the laundry and I put away (some) clean laundry and I blocked most of the bunting for the birthday garland I'm #making and I tidied everything and I fixed a bunch of things and #okay I think that's all #but hey that's kind of a lot?#idk but it definitely is for me #I think I sat down for maaaybe an hour or two the entire day?? that's. actually concerning and it explains the pain in my feet oh no #sometimes when I'm walking (not standing) I don't notice the pain until it's too late...#well shit I hope I'll be able to actually paint tomorrow lol. guess I'll have to sit down for some of it but I did that last time too and it #was alright #personal

Hey do you think Master Yip would ever interact with the new turtles in your AU? I feel like Mikey would want to visit him sometime.

He does! The tots know about him before he passes from age, his dog following him not long after.

When the tots are a bit old enough to withstand traveling, Mikey visits Master Yip rather frequently when he needs someone else to help with the kids And someone to talk to (calling April helps but someone actually being present helps Mikey even more).

The tots think Master Yip is quite fun! His dog Nori is really cool! His jokes are silly and he teaches them Chinese whenever they visit!

When the kids grow older they remember him fondly.

"Asmodeus stop hanging off me."

Lucifer tries to pull his brother off, but he doesn't budge. Asmodeus who was currently kneeling next to his study chair, continue to hold on to his arm with surprising strength.

"But you have to help me! Pleaseeeee!"

Lucifer lets out a deep sigh, continuing his work and looking through documents as if Asmodeus isn't there. "I already told you, Father's word was final."

"But-But there has to be a way to talk him out of this! And you're the only one he might listen to!"

"Trust me, the one suggestion I made was completely rejected. He's completely resolute about this marriage."

"Then make another suggestion!"

"Can you at least meet MC first before you throw a tantrum like a child? From what we've seen they're polite and mostly keep to themselves. So getting along with them should be easy for you as long as you don't do anything foolish."

"Hmmm…they sound kinda boring."

Lucifer pinches the bridge of his nose. He could feel a migraine coming on. "Behave when you actual meet them Asmo."

Asmodeus huffs and finally releases his older brother and instead begins pacing in front of his desk.

"But why does it have to be me? I know I'm a catch, but last time I checked, other people in this family weren't married!"

"I already explained this. Father expects you to be more involved in the socioeconomic affairs of the family. Which you've managed to avoid for years."

"Pssh but am I the only one though?"

Lucifer doesn't even bother answering him.

Asmodeus looks off to the side. Maybe he wasn't that involved in the more "serious" aspects that kept their family on top, but at least he went to all the important social events unlike Leviathan. That must count for something.

Though the idea of Leviathan getting married was definitely something he couldn't see happening any time soon. It might overload him. Only recently did his older brother start showing his face in public consistently….and it would be nice to see Levi fall in love naturally one day. Maybe he could convince him to go out on the town with him… Baby steps, baby steps.

Mammon was already married (surprisingly). Which much to his dismay, really cut a lot into their nights out. Though he would never admit it to his face.

Lucifer and Satan could probably avoid marriage if they wanted to, considering all they do.

All that left was Beelzebub and Belphegor. Shoveling off marriage to his younger siblings didn't feel right though.

Asmodeus visibly deflated. He sighs and flops down in the chair in front of Lucifer's desk. Even though he was doing this, he already knew it was over before it even began. It didn't stop him though. In fact, he had complained to Lucifer the day before.

And the day before that.

He'd cried to Satan and even bothered Mammon, who gave him terrible marriage "advice" that he made sure to tune out.

But it wasn't like him to not be at least a little persistent and complain when things weren't going his way!

And this was something worth complaining about. Him getting married? There's certain things marriage entailed right? Wouldn't he be expected to stop with his current lifestyle? Partying and playing around? Sharing his beautiful existence with the world? It just wasn't right!

He wouldn't do it, especially for a stranger.

Asmodeus crosses his arms. "….Are you sure I can't get out of this?"

"Asmo for the love of God. Father was serious about getting in this family's good graces, and this is a sure-fire way to do so. As you said so humbly, out of everyone here you're the most practical choice. And even if one of your brothers were picked instead, who says it won't be you the next time?"

Asmodeus's frown deepens. If he wanted to continue living such a comfortable life, he couldn't really just go against Father either. Even if he was okay with giving it all up, it was too scary.

"Meet them first. Now can you go find someone else to whine to. I'm busy."

Guess that was the end if the today's discussion.
