CARROT 3D??
Yes, I got there too!
I had a concept for 3D Carrot since the fall... but Orlam 3D and Iggy’s room were the first
Tumblr media
I'm making leaves now, and will try to make fur on the jacket.
And yes, I finally figured out the “parents” function, hurray! It's more convenient than in collections...
Yes, we still need to make the sleeves, yes.
And then deal with the skeleton. With animation - there is practice, all that remains is to try to make a character, bones, and try to make mini animations: Carrot waves them hand
Regarding color, I found a guide, and in shading - I will do it with the help of light, reflection and so on
I hope there won't be any difficulties :3

My first ever 3d render in blender! Obviously a little weird and plain, but i think it's okay for my first try. The camera is what was hardest.

This is my first COMPLETE ✅ 3D sculpture,I started with the character I've loved since I was a child(and still do),Naomi from Microvolts❤️❤️💕💕💞 (an online shooter). It hasn't even been a year since I started learning 3D independently while studying for university and I have realized in this short amount of time that I've fallen in love with the 3D world (not just sculpture) that's why I really want to monitor this journey of mine, keeping you all as updated as possible because I would like to gradually aim for much more exciting things. My dream would be to create and sell figures based on my 2D art and I sincerely hope with all my heart that I will succeed, and if I do succeed I swear it won't be disappointing.

"Nawy what do you MEAN quick-ish 3D render it's got scratches and everything and I thought this was real for a minute!!"
Well, first, thank you very much that was the intention ❤, and second, you see, all speed is relative, and between finding my references, modeling, texturing and lighting, on top of having to learn how to make convincing gems, it still took me quite a few hours. I, however, cut corners everywhere for speed, and I wouldn't put this piece in a portfolio in its current state.
But! for the curious, I thought I could do a simple breakdown of how the witchcraft happens, without using too much specialized language to make it more accessible. In short,
Tumblr media
In this case, I’m talking about a 3D model that was textured (colours and stuff) and then lit (lights on!) to make a pretty final picture. The objective is not to make a tutorial, but to put in simple terms what a 3D artist does to make something go from this, to that:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(people curious and/or trying to see if this interests them welcome)
I'm skipping the 3D modeling part altogether, since it isn't where most of the magic happens here. Just know that to be able to add colour and stuff on a 3D object, you have to go through the process or "unwrapping" it, which is like doing those foldable cubes in reverse
Tumblr media
and then we can draw on it!!
Now, the good stuff:
Surfaces (metal, plastic, fabric, wood, skin, etc.) have different looks that make you able to differentiate them on sight. To make something look realistic, you have to try to replicate real life into the 3D world (duh.)
The software developers took care of the hard part (math and coding), so as artists we can play with the parameters available to make something pretty. What those parameters are depend on which "recipe" we're using. One of the most common "recipes" for realistic results is called PBR: Physically Based Rendering, named that way because it's trying to replicate real-life light physics. In this case, the 4 basic parameters are called albedo, roughness, metalness, and normal.
Tumblr media
Albedo is the base colour of the surface (easy stuff). Roughness is to determine if a surface is rough or shiny. Metalness is to say if something is made out of metal or not. The normal is there to add all those tiny details you don't want to or can't sculpt on your 3D model (engravings, fabric bumps, etc.)
The roughness and metalness are black and white images because the information you're giving to the software is black = no and white = yes. It's easier to understand in the metalness image, where everything that is NOT a metal is black, and everything that IS a metal is white.
Tumblr media
The normal is a bit more complex, but in short, it uses the colours green and red to know what is up/down or left/right, and will help the software fake relief on top of the model. You don't make it by hand; it's computer-generated from other stuff I'm not getting into.
Tumblr media
With the technical stuff out of the way, we can actually use these. There are specialized softwares that will let you preview the results of each parameter in real time, so you can see what you're doing easily. This is what I have.
That software comes with some types of surfaces that are already set up, like the fabric in my piece, which was already 85% good for me straight out of the box. Then, it's up to me to use the tools available to decide how shiny a surface is, if there's dust or scratches and where, what colours things are, if there's metal parts, etc. That's where you can see a 3D artist's skills.
And finally, you bring it all together into a specialized software that can render 3D stuff and use those images on the corresponsing parameters, and then light the scene.
Because it all comes down to this: the light! For something realistic, light is vital to get right. You can pour your heart and soul into those tiny scratches, but if you don't light the scene correctly, well...
Tumblr media
So we carefully light the scene to get some nice highlights to make the textures look good and highlight our subject (it's basically a photography studio inside a computer)
Tumblr media
And then we add some camera effects...
Tumblr media
and voilà! pretty picture!!
... and if you somehow did notice something different with the bolo tie from my last post, I did find out while taking all these screenshots that I messed up my initial renders in a way that made everything darker than it was supposed to be and that's why my gold looked so muddy...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I hope this was interesting and that you learned a thing or two!

Beginners guide to manifesting!!
By love4ng1e 𝜗𝜚
Requested by @limitless180
Tumblr media
You asked for techniques, but Imma give you the whole pack because i'm cool like that. I'm going to keep it simple so you don't overcomsume. I said this was going to take a day or so, but never mind because I manifested time to make this.
I did a separate post on some of those stuff, but this is it all together. This is the only post you need.
─────── ༺ ❦︎ ༻ ───────
1.0: What is manifesting?
By simple definition manifesting is getting what you want. There is no need to make it any more complicated.
2.0: How to manifest?
There's multiple ways to manifest and there's no wrong or bad way.
I am a master manifestor, so I'll be honest and say that I do absolutely nothing to manifest except simply just acting like a master manifestor. I'll still give you ways I used that worked for me when I was a beginner, and that works for other people, too.
2.1: Robotic affirming.
Robotic affirming is repeatedly repeating any affirmation of your choice. What that does is reinforce that you have your desire and then plays out in your 3d (I will talk about the 3d a little farther).
It's very important to persist when it comes to this technique. Your affirm until it is factual in the 3d. You do not take no for an answer. It has no choice, but to manifest.
You repeat the affirmation any time. Regardless of what you're doing. As much as you want/feel necessary. Before falling asleep and first thing in the morning are both very powerful times. If you tend to forget, you can set alarms.
If this gets tiring to you, please switch techniques. This isn't for everyone.
2.2: Subliminals.
Subliminals are hidden affirmations under music/sounds. These affirmations directly bypass the conscious mind, directly to the subconscious mind (I also will talk about that a bit farther).
There are plenty of subliminal channels out there, but not all of them are trustworthy.
Good ones are:
I want it, I got it > link (she's my personal fav)
Cee > link
Baejin Cafe > link
Moza Morph > link
Kottie > link
Eve > link
Enchanted Workshop > link
Crystie > link
The best way to know if a subliminal channel is trustworthy is to read the comments. If there's none, I would stay away.
You can listen whenever you want. Headphones/Airpods are recommended.
2.3: Vision boards.
You can use pinterest for that. You simply make a board full of pins of what it is you want to manifest. For example, if you want a cat, you make a vision board full of cats. After that, you visualize it anytime you want. You can mediate while visualizing.
2.4 The law of assumption/loa.
The law of assumption/loa, also just called the law, was popularized by Neville Goddard, It focuses on your belief system. The core idea is whatever you assume to be true will manifest in your life.
Assume the feeling of wish fulfilled - Instead of focusing on attracting something external, you convince yourself that you already have it internally. That belief shifts your reality to align with that assumption.
Step 1: Identify what you want.
Step 2: Assume it's already yours. Feel and act as if your desires is already yours.
Step 3: Persist in the assumption. Even if your external reality doesn't reflect it yet, hold on to the belief until it manifests.
3.0: The 3d and the 4d.
There's the 3d and the 4d. The 3d is your physical world/external world. The 4d is imagination. Imagination is creation. Manifestation happens in the 4d.
The 4d is the only thing you need to focus on. Nobody cares about the 3d. The 4d is where everything happens, and then it shows up in the 3d. Therefore, circumstances do not matter.
Also time does not apply in the 4d so do not wait for your desires. It is already yours.
3.1: The conscious mind and the subconscious mind.
This is my personal take on the conscious mind and the subconscious mind.
The conscious mind is the main part of your brain. It has rules and uses logic as its main principle. You live in xyz country, with xyz people, you go to xyz school, whatever.
The subconscious mind is more hidden. It's sort of like a blank canvas. It's influenced by the conscious mind. Whatever you get it to believe will show up in your reality. Logic is not its main principle, so nothing is impossible or absurd.
You do not need to convince the subconscious mind to manifest, but it can be helpful.
─────── ༺ ❦︎ ༻ ───────
─────── ༺ ❦︎ ༻ ───────
I hope I could be of help! Much love.
"Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions." - Albert Einstein.

I’m making comics now !? Guess so !
This one’s a super experimental thing, mostly just me trying to get the hang of Clip Studio Paint. I learned so much with every single panel !
Sorry for the totally inconsistent style, just think of it as the attempt of someone who doesn’t really know how to draw but is giving it a shot anyway 🙏
It was so much fun to make, and I’m definitely doing more 🤎
Whisk belongs to @quietneighbor and their AU @phrasetale 🤍

first attempt
For your attention, my attempt to make Orlam a model.
Tumblr media
Not bad for a start, considering that I'm not very good at Blender.
Firstly - I don’t know why painting doesn’t work for me. I just had to stretch the photo to make it look like a pocket. >:/
If you know about this, write please
Second - sew on the head and jaw. When I wanted to combine them, the blender just crashed. The teacher advised me to connect using dots, so I’ll try later 🤔
Regarding the clothes - I decided to just create a different figure, although I have seen textile and how they are sewn on. I'll check that later too.
