I was playing Luigi's mansion 3 and comparing Luigi's height to litterally everything always amuses me. Same height as a trash can, eye level with the door knob, has to litterally climb the sink to turn it on, the toilet is taller than him(like, how does he use it??) And not to mention the fact at the beginningof the game, he litterally had to climb to get into the bed. It's great. I love it
How does he reach the top buttons of the elevator? I don't know.
OMG you're right.
What is this, a hotel for giants? Looks like one of the very few things that Luigi can properly reach is the elevator buttons, and even then he needs to stand on his tip-toes to get to the upper floors.
Actually, this raises similar questions to the weird height differences in Super Mario Odyssey.

Like... are Mario and Luigi in the game universe only human-esque but are actually a different species from humans altogether ? Or are they just really really small people with funny proportions? We may never know for sure.
#askbox#anon#Super Mario Brothers#heavy evidence that Super Mario Odyssey and Luigi's Mansion 1 2 & 3 are in the same universe#my going theory is that the hotel was originally built for New Donk City proportioned people#Mario Headcanons

I dunno if you talked about this yet, but very few ppl are talking about s5 since the dub hasn't come out yet so I'll just put a thought I had here (and again, if you've already talked about this, sorry!!)
This isn't really a theory, bc the "evidence" is flimsy, more like a gut feeling, but like:
You know how 9 (I think that's his name) asked Macaque "who did you make a deal with to get these powers?" and Macaque seemed genuinely confused?
I think Wukong might have been the one who made some sort of deal.
Again, this is mostly speculation, I'll honestly have to rewatch the LBD storyline just to ensure that it doesn't contradict this, but idk, for me this would explain certain things fans were pointing out before- I'll just get to the point tbh:
1) It would explain Wukong's lack of confusion at Macaque's first appearance.
Macaque died, plain and simple, and as far as we're aware, this was the first time they had seen eachother. Wukong is definitely not happy to see him, but he certainly doesn't look confused. He never questioned it, actually.
I don't remember if he was surprised with him working with LBD, but I do remember that despite everything, he still affirmed to MK that Liu Er was not a bad guy. And coming from Wukong, especially at that point in the series, that's not something small.
2) Wukong clearly regrets Macaque's murder.
It's difficult to tell what happened when Macaque died, since we only have some vague screenshots and (now) a small audio that might have or might have not have actually happened (since Wukong's memory might have been very biased). But what matters is that we now know with 100% certainty that the murder HAPPENED. It wasn't mind control (or at least doesn't seem like it), it wasn't an illusion by a third party that tricked Macaque, and Wukong certainly KNEW that Macaque was dead.
This is important bc the main conclusion lots of fans got from the whole "Wukong didn't seem confused about Macaque being alive" thing was those theories. Which now seem pretty much impossible.
For a character to do something in a story, 2 things need to be true: they need to have a reason AND they need to actually be able to do it.
Considering desire alone, it seems like a Wukong thing to do. He clearly didn't wanna have anything to do with Macaque (seeming at least annoyed and at worst angry with his presence at the beginningof the story), but he also just didn't want him dead. It wouldn't be out of character for him to revive Macaque if given the chance, but also simply not look for him.
If he can do it? I don't know. He has alot of artifacts, and he's known for breaking rules to get his way, both in JTTW and in lmk. Whatever it was, it probably had to do with chaos magic, but (although not the the lmk's team fault, it's clear that this was mostly bc of complications in production) the season's plot was kinda rushed, they had litte time to tell their story, so I can't be sure.
3) Wukong's conversation with Macaque at the start of the season.
Okay, so this is the main one (bc it can make or break my entire point, which I'll explain real soon), since this WHOLE season had alot of references to past events AND alot of the first episodes' scenes were brought back in some way by the end.
And their conversation felt a little... idk, out of place. Kinda Chekhov's Gun-y.
Bc this wasn't a season focused on how their old enemies came back. Heck, it wasn't focused on Wukong at all! Sure, the poor guy was the season's punching bag (or in this case, more like a squishy stress toy lmao), but the vast majority of his scenes were focused on his bond with MK (be it with the fact both of them came from the same stone, or just his general love and care for the kid, to the point where he was willing to die in his place if it meant keping MK and the world safe.)- and those that weren't were glimpses with Macaque.
Okay, so why can it make or break my point? Because it's gonna entirely depend on weather or not Wukong is being honest in that conversation.
Now, Wukong is a big, fat liar. We all know this. The Samhadi Fire thing happened ENTIRELY bc of his lies. This man is not honest, and he loooves passing the blame to someone else when he can, especially to Macaque.
And I think he's lying in that conversation. I genuinely think he's lying. Why? Because he said he didn't know what MK was before he chose him as his sucessor.
And, okay, he might not have known the full story, but that man knew SOMETHING. We see in flashbacks that he had been observing MK far before he found the staff. He might not have known that MK came from the same stone as him, but c'mon. He is not that stupid. Also, the body language might be a bit harder to read bc of the budget cuts, but he did not seem honest at all. His first instinct as he said it was to avert his eyes and then TURN THE OTHER WAY, angry.
"Okay, anon, but your whole argument was about Macaque's revival, not MK's birth-" I'm getting to it.
What I'm trying to say is that we should take Wukong's words here with a massive grain of salt. Him and Macaque seem to be working together to discover more about MK, but that does not mean that Wukong is gonna be 100% honest with him.
Which comes the juicy part of this conversation: when the topic switches to Wukong's old friends with grudges returning. More specifically, Macaque mentions Azure Lion.
M: We still don't know who released Azure Lion. All of your old friends are back at once. You don't-
W: What about you?! You came back all of a sudden too!
Wukong's body language was really weird here. Like he was angry that Macaque was questioning things. Maybe it's just him being nervous about it too and letting his fear show off as anger, but it's still weird. This could be him just immediately throwing this at Macaque, because it's easier, with something along the lines of "What about you huh?? You came back too!" as a response for having his methods questioned, but again, it feels really weird.
Especially since this is not the thing you do when you're willing to be honest. Even when you're not willing to be criticized.
This might be a language barrier thing, since the subs I watched with weren't the best, but it was unclear to me wether Wukong was trying to lump Macaque together with everyone else that returned OR wether he was trying to differentiate him from the rest. With the eng dub it'll probably be clearer, but I genuinely couldn't be sure wether this was a "You came back too, just like the rest of them." or a "It wasn't JUST them, you came back too" meaning. This could also be attributed to him possibly being the only one who might have actually died before his return, instead of just "imprisoned", but idk.
And then Wukong looks down, with this weird conflicted look, until he mentions that someone might be manipulating MK, which makes him blink up and immediately pin it all on Macaque again, despite him definitely knowing by this point that Macaque would not do this.
As if he felt like it was a personal attack over something he did.
Which makes me feel like he was involved in some way with at least SOME of these returns, and not just in a "the ppl I messed with came back with a grudge" way. Since the topic of a deal was specifically mentioned by this season's villain, (which Macaque, again, didn't really seem to know about) it might have been that.
4) Lady Bone Demon.
So, I'm really gonna have to rewatch her entire story to be sure about the details, but this woman is the definition of opportunistic. She knows quite alot about destiny, and at some points, even the future.
She was sealed and became a whole lot stronger, sure, but the power to bring others back from the dead? Lmk is not very accurate to JTTW, but she was legit just a skeleton demon with the power of illusion from what I've managed to find. Heck, before she tricked MK into releasing more of her power, she was pretty much stuck with the Spider Queen.
And this was AFTER she supposedly brought Macaque back from the dead.
This woman is powerful, but not THAT powerful. Not at that point! Wukong supposedly defeated her with ease before according to the show, and even he had troubles with the underworld. Also, out of all of Wukong's past foes, it feels weird that she'd willingly choose Macaque to be the one to be revived- the guy with a conflicted past with Wukong that, considering everyone else he's faced, is pretty avarage in terms of power. Also, again, this man has a huge grudge, but he also has a really big past with Wukong. Even IF she could just bring someone back from the dead like this, she'd be smart enough not to choose Macaque. The risk of disobedience was far too great (since he's pretty smart + would likely not want to put up with her bs for long) and his strength is simply not great enough to justify that decision. She had to constantly check on him, threaten him, and even THEN he still found a way out of it.
Sure, maybe Wukong could go easier on him compared to other foes, but that's still not a good bet. Wukong killed him, after all, likely bc he was a danger to his JTTW friends based on previous scenes- so who's to say he wouldn't do it again?
So all of this: the flawed logic of choosing to revive macaque; the likelihood of her being able to just bring someone back from the dead WHILE weakened; the fact that she clearly didn't trust Macaque like she did the totally not a mayor guy; how her biggest strategy has always been to wait for an opportunity instead of doing the work herself... It makes me question wether she brought Macaque back at all.
Because maybe she just saw an opportunity and took it, maybe she just tricked him into thinking that she was behind his revival- as to make him obey at least somewhat- so she could lock him in a deal. Maybe it wasn't Wukong, maybe it was someone else, but the fact that the chaos magic thing along with the word "deal" wasn't immediately attributed with LBD (the only one we know to have made a deal with Macaque at some point till now) was just really weird to me.
Anyway, wow this was long! Sorry about that! Again, I don't truly believe this is the show's intention, I might just be overthinking/misinterpreting things, but idk. I thought it was at least an interesting enough hypothesis to bring it up fhdhdhhdhd
gawddam anon 👀 that’s quite a theory
also here’s a link of what Nines said to Macky (also there seems to be a new ship between the two and i, for one, suggest that their ship name should be called SixNine :D )
idk i agree with Wukong being the one who struck the deal but you do bring up a lot of hood points 👀✍️ Wukong lying about only having a “feeling” when he met MK (even i could smell the bs), Wukong’s “and what about you!” being more of a misdirect from what Macky wanted to talk about -> like these things i def thought were fishy but you bring up a new perspective 🧐
time will only tell!

DUUUUUDE !!!!
Okay so I was looking through my notes on ideas I have for my GX rewrites because I've been kinda wanting to get back to that since I haven't worked on that in like... FOREVER 🥲 and I found some gold!!!
-----
Okay so! I hadn't looked at this in a while but I remembered everything as soon as I found it in the doc and I'm gonna rework it from what I originally had so I'll get into that instead! So in season 2 there's the whole fiasco in Domino right???? Well that's happening pretty much the way it happened UNTIL they go to Kaiba Land to rescue Syrus and Hassleberry.
So in my version Jaden, Aster, Bastion, Grandpa, AND Atticus all go to Kaiba Land rather than Atticus staying behind because what's even with that? More Atticus erasure that's what 🙄 and Grandpa stays outside still because they're like "it could be dangerous" and all that, but the four kids go inside and we still go into the virtual space BUTTTTTTTTT instead of just a weird virtual void they actually have to go through a whole virtual fantasy adventure world A LA the Legendary Heroes episodes at the end of DM season 1 since it's the same tech and the same system, but it's not the same world. This ones a whole new one that Sarina created to test Jaden and Aster to discover who the chosen duelist is, so they have to undergo a trial!
And they all get fun fantasy costumes because why tf not aksksk
The trial is two-fold: first, they have to rescue Syrus and Hassleberry who are imprisoned at undisclosed locations somewhere in the word, then to escape they finally duel Sarina where she'll determine who the chosen duelist is!
So they get into the virtual world and have this explained to them by Sarina, who appears to them in a vision or whatever you want to call it kinda how she appears to Jaden through the like mirror shit at the end of episode 77 directly preceeding this stuff. So Sarina appears and explains the trial and shows them vaguely where Syrus and Hassleberry are being kept. Jaden, Atticus, and Bastion are pissed about their friends being kidnapped and held hostage for this mess but Aster doesn't really care, he just wants to prove he's the chosen duelist and not Jaden. But during the visions she's showing them, it's revealed that Syrus and Hassleberry are each being guarded by none other than Chazz and Alexis!
Sarina reveals that to pass the first test, they'll have to each defeat one of them to rescue their friends and make it to the final test of challenging her, which they'll have to do together as a tag match. Sarina departs and the boys decide that because Jaden and Aster each have to win against Chazz or Alexis, they should split up and take them both down at once. Jaden's going after Syrus, so he'll be going to duel Chazz rival match obviously because we didn't have nearly enough of those lol, which leaves Aster to go challenge Alexis for Hassleberry also Aster and Alexis were supposed to duel at the beginningof the season then Jaden came back and ended up dueling in her place but I want to see that match up it would've been sick. But nobody's going on their own so they use the buddy system, and Atticus is torn because he wants to be there for both duels. He wants to help everybody, and if they can manage to break Chazz and Alexis free too that would be super helpful and he wants to save them both more than anything.... but he can't leave his sister, so he joins Aster while Bastion joins Jaden and they go their separate ways.
When Aster and Atticus arrive at their location, they find Hassleberry locked up but as they expected, Alexis stands in the way, resolute and stone cold. All of Hassleberry’s attempts to get through to her haven't been successful in the slightest, so he's a little down plus he's caged like an animal because he's part dinosaur and the Society is mean 😭 so he's stuck and has to wait to be rescued which sucks and he's worried about Syrus as much as he won't admit it even though they're cool at this point. Even Atticus can't seem to rouse her as she doesn't react to him when they arrive, but he's determined to get through to her somehow!
The duel begins and it's a hard fought battle, Aster and Alexis are both excellent duelists and Alexis's deck is souped up with all the cards she got from Sartorius which isn't helpful. But during the duel, Alexis almost seems to falter as her life points decrease, and the sound of Atticus's voice seems to affect her. Atticus keeps calling out to her, and once her life points reach zero and she assumes the traditional 'I-just-lost-a-card-game' stance on her hands and knees, Hassleberry’s is freed and Atticus runs to his sister! He drops to his knees beside her and she looks up at him, her eyes unclouded and normal, looking into his. They share a brief reunion, but it can't last long. Sarina is in control of this world and Alexis hasn't been fully broken from the Light of Destruction, but Atticus has caused her true self to be able to reach through. She warns them that she won't be able to stay like this for much longer and tells them about Sartorius's ambitions to drown the world in Light and Atticus promises her he'll save her once they get back to the real world. But not before Alexis tells him that if they want to stop Sartorius, Atticus will have to stay safe because he's darkness, he can combat the Light and Sartorius will want him gone so he can't ruin his plans. They'll also have to save Chazz. He's Satrorius's most powerful duelist, they can't let him keep him but his hold on Chazz is strong, it won't be easy to set him free. Atticus swears they'll rescue him too, and Alexis is going to warn him of some other dangers Hassleberry being immune to the Light putting him in danger as well and obviously Jaden but before she can say anything else, Sarina whisks her away and she's back under the control of the Light.
Atticus is understandably upset but also fired up! Aster is admittedly concerned about what's going on, not that he'll admit it, and the three duelists head off towards Sarina where they can meet back up with the others!
Smash cut to Jaden and Bastion, who arrive at their location to find Syrus imprisoned and guarded by Chazz, who's eyes are starting to lose their life, which is a very bad sign. Jaden tries to talk some sense into Chazz with Bastion joining in as well, but when their words can't reach him, Jaden and Chazz proceed to duel! Jaden’s convinced he'll be able to rescue Chazz as well as Syrus if he wins the duel, but unlike with Alexis, nothing makes Chazz waver in the slightest. If anything, it's almost as if the Light's hold on Chazz gets stronger as his life points decrease... it's a very difficult duel, but Jaden comes out on top and is able to rescue Syrus! Chazz falls to his hands and knees and Jaden makes a move to go to him, but Sarina whisks him away before Jaden can have another chance to get through to him. She can't lose her brother's prized duelist, after all. They're all bothered by this of course and Jaden resolves to rescue Chazz when they get back, and Alexis too! He and Bastion make sure Syrus is alright and they had off towards Sarina to challenge her and get back home!
-----
That's as far as I've got with this part, I think it's a SICK idea !!! I originally had Atticus go with Jaden because you KNOW I wanted him there for the Chazz duel to try and reach out to Chazz hehehehe but I like this way better and it's just better narratively. Since she duels and brings him back in my Shadowrider arc, I like the idea of him dueling and bringing her back during the Society of Light arc, plus I know we both agree he should've had more involvement in the arc in general much less breaking her free from the Light, and I like the idea of this encounter planting the seeds in his mind that he'll actually be able to do it that leads him to be the one to duel and ultinately free her later. And I always thought it was kinda lame that all the Domino stuff happened and was building up something then all it was was a duel in a virtual void and for some reason Hassleberry and Syrus were a dinosaur and a car? I dunno I just think that whole situation was underwhelming and I'm sad about it so here we are akaksk and like since they're doing a virtual thing at fucking Kaiba Land why not go through another fantasy adventure world??? Hehehehehe I need to develope the Chazz and Jaden duel a little more I've clearly thought more about Aster and Alexis's duel because of Atticus and Alexis but shhhhhhhhh it's fiiiiine akksksks
Anyway sorry that was a whole ass novel but I HAD to talk about this !!!! 😅
ABBY!!! YOUR MIND!!!!
ugh i am in AWE!!!!!!! i love the way you write because you always know just how to make a narrative hit where it really hurts and IM PACING AROUND MY ROOM READING THIS!!!!!!!!!
YOU. 🫵 YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THE SOCIETY OF LIGHT ARC SHOULDVE BEEN!! ATTICUS BEING THERE FOR ALEXIS AND HER WARNING HIM ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE’S DARKNESS SO HE’S A TARGET IS 10/10!!!

LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER
Roald Dahl’s short story “Lamb to the Slaughter” published in 1953. Roald Dahl was a British novelist. His works deals mainly on social issues such as violence, racial issues, sexism and unequalopportunities between men and women in real life. His representation of women was quitedifferent from that of earlier times. He is concerned about the gender stereotype that somehowmakes a woman’s life miserable. Mary Maloney is the protagonist of the story. In the beginningof the story she is portrayed as a diligent homemaker. But when the story develops the perfectwife turn into the murderer of her husband.
At the beginning of the story, the main character ofthe story Mary Maloney is described as she was in a happy mood. The author gave her theperfect image of a domestic wife. She is expecting a baby and in the beginning of the story shewas waiting for her husband like every woman does in a patriarchal society. The image of Maryas a domestic housewife can changes in to something dangerous at the end of the story. Being aperfect wife to her husband, she might never expect that her husband might leave her one day.No woman can accept it easily. That shock led her to hit her husband with leg of lamb and killshim. Actually, the real strength of Mary is shown after the murder. The way she uses her mind toprotect herself and unborn baby from the law.

I will have several questions Foxy~
Maybe we are confidential but will we show Jungkook in his enlistment in Secret Song or instead there is a time jump? I wonder it because sometimes it has 100 thousand words to explore only one week with our heroes. I love it! And I had wondering if this would be glossed over or skippe. But maybe we will be having a lot of separate time, in like when they broke up! This is 2 years longer instead of a month, maybe? Either way I will gratefully read the story and I have no happiness one or the other both! You are so talented! And I think I did know from that you have writen the whole series already long ago! Are you writing again as time passes or maybe as you go, more editing? I am really fascinated by your work xxx
I don't want to give too much of the story away but enlistment is handled in the story --there's a way I had written it ages ago, and we'll see if it keep it that way as the story gets closer to it. The whole thing feels a little uncomfortable to me to write because those real men are really going through it and I don't want it to feel like a capitalzation on a terrible situation, but thematically it is also so accurate for the story (bodies and souls feeling like they don't belong to the owner, etc.)... so I am not going for RL accuracy in the story.
You are right that I did write most of it long ago! There are pieces in between the plot points I had written before that I fill in with writing, and editing of the parts I had already written which is sometimes only just fixing punctuation and other times doing quite a rewrite. In a way I guess this is the second draft of this story/series.
Time will pass quickly at times and slowly at times. In the beginningof this book we're very day to day (although less day to day than Little Bean and Flux were), but get more to week to week as we go, however this book still takes place in a relatively short timeframe. Later books cover much longer periods of time (right now I estimate I have about five books and they cover about ten years.)
Thanks for reading, I"m glad you're enjoying it!

the speeder thing happened on brotherhood by mike chen end of chapter 6 (they went for a date to celebrate him being knighted and girlie had FOLDED BLANKETS TO FUCK HIM ON A RENTED SPEEDER)
second part is just mentioned but lol here it is
"I wouldn't......hmm....know" stfu this is a child show and they were fucking
And last but not least the third one happened on clone wars wild space by karen miller right ate the beginningof chapter 6, takes a bit of interpretation, it's obviously not explicit but-

"as he savored the sticky juice, the fragance of her, let him fall headfirst on their shared, secret passion" yeah he was eating her out
sometimes I think how anidala had the most unmatched sexual attraction they canonically fucked in the underbelly of coruscant on a speeder not to mention that one time he forgot his robes on padme's ship or when there's a description of anakin eating her pussy and last but not least the whole deal of his meditation time was being with her
#what you guys think id lie about something like this?#anidala#the clone wars wild space#star wars brotherhood#star wars books#padme amidala#anakin skywalker
