Please provide three headcanons about your character:

For Alys, growing up second to her brother was as much of a challenge as a rat trying to free itself from an inhumane glue trap…impossible. His bright personality and commanding presence had always lit up the room as if King Ewen, himself, had already entered the building. And it didn’t take the younger of the two to realize her place in the world; silent and in the background. Though extremely bright and well rounded in her studies, the young woman remained quiet watching as her brother grew more fit and apt to take the crown someday. Of course, no one saw what was coming. In everyone’s minds, the belief that Alwyn would one day rule Wales, and quite successfully, had come as default. But of course, there had to be a set path for Alys. Like any great spare, she was set to marry.

Arranged to a man she quietly despised, Alys didn’t counteract her mother and father’s wishes. Though loving him didn’t come easy. While she could tell he longed to be in the spotlight, much like her brother, she thought nothing of it. Instead, she went about her daily life, sometimes bluntly wrangling him back into his place by reminding him of whom he would be marrying.

Life carried on until a trip to Rome. King Ewen, trusting in his son to negotiate policies with the leaders in Italy, sent the young Crown Prince, and his wife. And with some convincing, Alwyn managed to bring along his sister and future brother-in-law.

The trip was a success. The Crown Prince had brought together two nations just as his father had hoped; a sign that he would be a great ruler someday. And to celebrate, Alwyn, along with Alys’ betrothed; a young liaison who had been present at the meeting of the two countries; and a young diplomat to Rome, left the women of their own accord for a night out in Tor Bella Monaca to celebrate. Not exactly the greatest place for two princes, but the perfect coverup for the heinous crime that Alys’ betrothed was about to commit.

Word of the Crown’s death came sometime over the next several hours and the next several months were like a blur. No one had suspected a thing, and the one coherent witness that was there that night was threatened to great lengths. However, in all of this, Alys’ life was thrown upside down when she was soon announced as the new Crown Princess of Wales.

Mourning her brother’s passing would be put on hold as she would take over a role she never expected. But relations between the country of Wales and Italy had turned sour. And with tensions mounting elsewhere in the world, Alys’ father and mother felt it best to send her off to Russia for protection. Losing their pride and joy had nearly destroyed their family, and the idea of possibly losing their daughter as well, and the right to hold the throne in the future, couldn’t be fathomed. But what they didn’t know was that the murderer of their son was engaged to their daughter and set to be the future King of Wales, if all continued to go according to his plan.

Please provide two or more connection ideas for your character:

The Betrothed: This is the man who is set to marry Alys, but is the same man that murdered her brother in cold blood and managed to cover it up. He’s conniving, sly, outgoing, and charming. She secretly despises him and isn’t afraid to put him in his place, when he acts unruly. Neither one of these people are in this relationship for love, though she genuinely tries, despite how difficult he can be. She has no idea that he is the one who murdered Alwyn, and he plans on keeping that way no matter what lengths he has to go to.

The Crown Prince’s Widow: After Alwyn’s death, his betrothed was left a widow. Aside from her brother, Alys considered the woman a best friend. While Alys hasn’t been able to fully mourn her brother’s death, she has been able to talk and share her feelings with his widow; a woman who was also sent to Khatanga out of fear for her safety.

The One True Love: Since being forced into a relationship with her betrothed at a rather early age, Alys hasn’t gotten the opportunity to experience real love. She has tried her hardest to love the man she is supposed to, but she just doesn’t feel the way her parents and everyone else expects her to. It’s a dangerous game to play, but it’s the first time she’s ever felt such a thrill and longing for something so wrong.

What is one thing you are proud of/love about your country?

“I love the landscape. Being out in nature has always been an escape for me. It’s where I can think. Where I am most free. I am going to greatly miss it, as I hear Khatanga is a very flat, and at times, gray land. But as long as there are horses to ride and a place outdoors that I can escape to and call my own, I suppose it will suffice.”

What is the most important thing in your suitcase?

“A rather worn out copy of Little Women that my late brother gifted to me. He always encouraged and supported me. Noticed me, even when I thought he didn’t. He knew how hard this life we were born into was for me, and he always told me to follow my dreams and to trust my instincts. Everytime I read the story of Jo March, I think of him and how much he believed in me.”

Who and/or what will you miss most from home?

“My sweet Corgi, Dylan. I received him after Alwyn passed, and he’s kept me company and been my support. I will, of course, miss my parents. While my brother was the apple of their eye, I know they love me dearly, as I do them. And my betrothed. I’ve word that he should be arriving any day.”

She wants to be more than a pawn. Luciana is the youngest in a family of 5. She is the only girl so it is pretty obvious why her parents hired people to train her to be someone “that will be the perfect wife”. She, of course, hated it.

She wants to be queen. Ever since she was a child, she spent time with those her parents refer to as “their people” and grew to love them. Her parents, especially her dad, did not like this but she did not care. As each day passed, her desire to help them out became stronger and that desire made her want the crown. When she turned 17, however, she realized that her being the heir of the throne was impossible because one, she had two older brothers who were “more fit for the throne” and two, she was a woman.

She wants to learn about the world. Having so little chance of being queen did not throw her off. She still wanted to help and she was going to do whatever it takes for her to do so. As she studied in both highschool and college, she kept that in mind.  Here she is now four years later, with a degree in economics, Latin honors, and a personal mission to give back to the community that taught her to love life.

She wants to be free. Out of anger towards the way the system works, she became the exact opposite of what her parents wanted to be. She disobeyed the rules imposed on her and she fought whenever someone would yell at her. She spent her free time drinking and flirting around but of course, she had her limits. She did not want to end up like her father.

She wants to feel less lonely. She was in her third year of college when she heard about her father’s death. It took her a while to accept this but once she did, she realized that she was not as sad as her brothers were. She never got close to her father after all. In fact, she never got close to anyone in her family. Her brothers never really talked to her or hung out with her and her parents were too busy that they neglected their youngest child. It was when her father died that she realized how lonely she has been for who knows how long and for once, she wanted to feel like she was not alone.

She wants to be loved. It is not obvious but Luciana believed in love and happy endings. Of all the things that life has taught her, her favorite lesson is that everyone deserves a chance at love. However, once she turned 13, she realized that that chance was off the table for her because at 13, she was betrothed to a prince. BACKGROUND / FAMILY:

Bellatrix Black came crashing into the world on the night before Christmas Eve. She wasn’t due for another four weeks, so her birth was a mostly unwelcome surprise --- but she was also the first child of Cygnus and Druella to carry on the Black legacy, which was an honor. A necessity.

After her birth, her father never really hid his disappointment --- it was no secret that a daughter was not what he had hoped for. He was an old fashioned man, and had prayed for a strong son, to bring glory to the family name. Bellatrix, small in size and eerily quiet as a baby, was far from that.

She became strong fast, because she had to be. The tiny infant who could barely muster a scream seemed like a faint memory, and was soon replaced by a mean toddler.

As a child, Bella was vicious. Biting, clawing, screaming and cursing were things she picked up fast, and she’d terrorize the other kids at the playground ( with an almost scary aim for her muggle born / half blood peers ). But she never hurt her sisters, and instead came to protect them.

Once she reached the age of six, she calmed down a bit, and instead started following her father around ( and was lovingly referred to as his ‘little shadow’ ). Eager to prove herself, she learned everything that a son of Cygnus would have learnt. She was determined to show her father that being a girl would not stop her from becoming worthy of the Black throne, to carry his name with pride. Over the years of her childhood and adolescence, Bellatrix forged herself into the golden girl, a respectable heir in the making. Desperate to wear the crown.

Most of her childhood was characterized by harsh words, strict rules and high expectations. Her family’s reputation weighed heavy on her shoulders, constantly pressuring her to excel. Luckily, she shared her parents’ ambition and values, and had no problems conforming to their rule. Which also meant that she could get away with much else.

She was close with her sisters, and even as a young girl, she would have gone to war for the both of them. She still would, for Narcissa.

HOGWARTS YEARS.

Bellatrix had been duly prepped before arriving at Hogwarts. She was the first of their children to walk the halls, so it was important to both Druella and Cygnus that Bellatrix knew how to behave. Who to fraternize with. Who to avoid. Who was worthy of her time. Her parents had also made sure that she already had the appropriate friends --- and play dates with other pureblood kids were a common occurrence when Bellatrix was younger.

During her Hogwarts years, she kept out of trouble. For the most part. Her problems with impulse control and uncontrollable rage got her into some fights. She was also known for mocking ( and occasionally jinxing ) muggle born kids. But mostly she kept to her fellow Slytherins, biding her time.

Took the following electives while at Hogwarts: alchemy, care of magical creatures, study of ancient runes.

Was in the charms club, the potions club and the dueling club. 

She was a beater for the Slytherin team during her time at the school, and was notorious for her cruel playing style and foul tricks. In her opinion, playing dirty was just part of the game though, so....

During her sixth year at the school, Bellatrix was recruited into the Death Eaters. With them, she found a second home.

AFTER HOGWARTS.

After graduating from Hogwarts, Bellatrix took a year off from her studies. The official reason was that she needed to “find herself”. Whatever the fuck that meant. Obviously, it was a lie to hide what she was really up to. In reality, Bellatrix was at Voldemort’s side, learning leglilimency and occlumency, all the while developing her dark magic and her shitty personality.

At the age of nineteen, Bellatrix found work as an obliviator. Though the choice had ultimately been hers to make, the dark lord was always whispering in her ear, encouraging her to infiltrate the ministry. The goal was to have sleeper agents of death eaters in every department once it was time to go to war. It also helped that becoming an oblivator just made sense --- fucking with the minds of muggles could already be counted as a hobby (albeit a twisted one), and she had always been good at taking things that didn’t belong to her... Memories would be no different.

At the age of twenty two, Bellatrix married Rodolophus Lestrange, and secured a worthy pureblood union for her legacy. 

Among the Death Eaters, Bellatrix is in the inner circle. She considers herself the dark lord’s right hand, and prides herself on being his most loyal servant.

AS A PERSON.

Bellatrix is a fucking shit show. She is deranged, a little bit unhinged, impulsive, angry as hell, childish, ruthless, playful, arrogant and lethal ( and she barely has a moral compass to speak of ). But she’s also calculating, focused, quick on her feet, protective, fiercely loyal, assertive and intuitive. Bella often contradicts herself --- she has grown up believing that it’s best to be cold and devoid of emotions, but she’s a highly emotional person by nature. She tries to suppress that as best as she can, but she usually boils over pretty fast. Other emotions are usually translated into anger as well, so that’s fun. I think the best way to describe her is that she’s just fire, always burning cold.

Most people probably suspect that Bellatrix is a death eater, because she’s not exactly subtle about it. She won’t outright SAY it, but she enjoys a game of cat and mouse, and will heavily imply... stuff. Especially to the aurors, who are her favorite people to taunt. 

Doesn’t have the most finesse. I like thinking of her as the Hammer™. Gets shit done, but not in the most Delicate or Intricate way. Intensely focused, and can control herself when needed, but she usually finds that it’s not.

STYLE / FASHION / APPEARANCE.

Bellatrix has jet black eyes ( resembling the pits of hell ) and the hair to match. It falls in messy curls over her shoulders, and she doesn’t bother with it ( and doesn’t cut it either tbh, so it’s very long ). 

Usually wears dark red lipstick ( to hide her sins && match the blood of enemies ).

Dresses mostly in black. Has to wear clothes that can fit into the muggle world while at work ( since she is often out in the field, interacting with muggles ). While there, she wears a well worn leather jacket ( with shoulder pads, in true 70s style ), and wide, black pants.

Files her nails into long claws, and paints them black.

Fiannia Quinne @fiannia-quinne

Fia is a character I had over on mg that I just recently brought over to WrA.  She is a Human priestess of the Holy Light who was from Arathi Highlands.  She is a travelling priestess who goes between the farms spreading the word of the Light wherever she can.  Alliance character, but cross faction accepted. She also is a seamstress as well as helps to run her family farm. At the moment she is single. In game as Fiannia on WrA. FC: Molly Quinn Status: Alt character.  Brand new, not in the rp scene as of yet. Can be called upon to rp if desired.

Velinthria Lightwhisper @velinthrialightwhisper Veli is a Sin’dorei water healer who is in limbo between the Argent Crusade and working in her catering company as well as being a librarian very rarely.  Veli also works quite frequently as a painter and can go weeks without much contact  while she works on her paintings.  She is also a fairly good chef and will teach people how to cook or make them different meals, if asked to.  Is in a committed relationship. Cemearea Bloodshard @cemeareabloodshard Mea is a Sin’dorei Warlock who is currently working on honing her skills and keep them under control with the appearance of argus. She was a former lady of the night, and she used her skills in alchemy to help her with her work.  She is currently single. Horde character.  In game as Ceemearea. Ema Brightvale @emabrightvale Ema is a Sin’dorei priestess working for the Argent Crusade.  Her and her boyfriend joined them and work mostly with eachother.  Ema is an avid cook and also enjoys doing tailoring.  She is in a committed relationship. i’m interested in joining but i’m just a little a little confused as to why the paul’s & bella thorne are banned but tana’s not? especially when she’s made racist remarks and has been openly problematic in the youtube community and she’s not really a fc i feel comfortable rping with

To be completely transparent, I don’t really follow a lot of youtubers. Probably only two or three. The only reason the Paul’s and Bella Throne are on there is because the Paul’s were widely publicized with their problems and bella Throne because I’ve seen her on other banned lists. But with Tana, I wasn’t totally aware with how problematic she’s been (I knew of the whole tana con business but other than that I try to not pay attention to youtubers) and that she would make some people uncomfortable with. And for that, I apologize. 

With that said, i’ve talked to the rper who plays her and she’s willing to change the fc of that character!
