The fact there is a whole ass article explaining why that important scene of Elliot and Noah meeting was cut on the streaming versions. Because they thought people would be confused about some crime that Olivia was going to investigate and doesn't investigate it on SVU.

While people are upset and confused as to why it got cut really defeats the purpose of it being cut.

Bringing Barba back just to ruin his and Liv’s friendship is the worst crime ever committed on SVU. They have been friends, comrades, drinking buddies, confidants, FAMILY and more for YEARS. Even after he left they remained close. Then Stabler comes back (honestly I know this is an unpopular opinion) and ruins everything!

Liv picked herself up after he left. Yes there was once a lot of love between them (both platonically and romantically) but she moved on. She opened her world up to more than just him. Before he left, her entire world revolved around the job and Stabler. Now, she’s all fixed, she put herself back together and opened her heart to Finn, Rollins, Amaro, Carisi, Barba and even Stone. She has a beautiful, kind, sweet son. She made her own family because Stabler made his choice and that’s fine. That’s his right. He had a wife and kids and he finally started acting like it instead of leaving Kathy high and dry (my sweet angel deserved better) But then he comes back and messes with her feelings all while he’s grieving? He wants to play the crying widower but still fuck with Olivia’s feelings?

Olivia is the heart of the show, and Barba said it best when he told her the problem with being an empath. “It’s too easy to lose yourself when people need you.” Liv is losing sight of who has been there for her since he left and it breaks my fucking heart. Barba was there and Stabler wasn’t. Through all this bullshit that much is true.

There was no point in attempting to make Barba the villain and honestly I understood why he took the case. He loves Liv. Whether you want to read into it as romantic or not that is up to the viewers but at the end of the day he loves her. He was right when he said another defense attorney would have dissected every inch of Bensler’s relationship. Barba was trying to help in his own way and I hope people realize that.

P.s. Where the fuck was Amanda? I need more Rollisi.

P.s.s. This is my opinion please no hate, I’m just voicing my thoughts into the void because I have no friends that watch this show

Edit: I do not believe Barba is actually the villain. I am mad at Olivia and Stabler. Carisi and Barba are just doing their jobs.

This is the closest we've come to feral!Liv in ages and nobody in the squad got to see it. I know there was no bensler content but the episode was powerful. Like Liv's taking the show and the unit back. Mariska's acting was amazing.

Also thinking about Liv meeting Eddie Wagner. Saving him from whoever is holding the knife.

Also thinking how those two are in desperate need for couple's therapy. And whenever one is lying to the therapist the other calls their bullshit.

GO OFF QUEEN i loved liv being like yes i am upset you asshole lemme tell you why. showing him she's not afraid of him, or any fucking body else, showing him that she is powerful and strong and she will not quietly go along and do as she's told, that she has the strength of her convictions and she will fight. that was a beautiful moment for olivia
