Spitfire: - I have five different designs for her i rotate through depending on how im feeling, so i went for the one that would best fit for this au - In canon shes one of the younger members of palinquin (in my hcs she is the youngest) and pretty timid, so plays more of a support role, in this shes a more a frontline fighter, so natrually, more scars - ^ and i like the idea of her getting burnt by her own powers (not canonly fireproof and all) - many thoughts about her you have no idea - having more of a spine is a good thing, but it is also causing her so much stress - went for a more assymetrical design partly for the lack of resources due to her not ending up taking any teams offer, parlty bc i thought it looked fuckin sick - very curious as to why she turned down faultline - was homeless (i belive this for a number of reasons), her and Apsis are crashing in some abandoned basement somewhere Morrigan: - I dont really have much to say, i am so hyped to watch her be rescued from her original narrative and i want to make art for it - n0brainjustvibes prowler!sophia design is so good it rewrote my brain entirely, shes ourple now - your (nonplatonicsubtexts) description for her costume was so vivid i just picked it up and threw it at the drawing software
Apsis: - Shes kinda just free real estate to do whatever with so this will be mostly hc's - Also havent given her a full costume design bc i am waiting for a more solid vibe if that makes sense - Mixed south asian/white (in the above art, at least) - May i suggest the name lila/leela - Whilst Emily and Sophia are roughly 15, shes more 18/19, and that age gap might contribute more to the gap she has with the other two - Fell out with the Merchants a while back due to petty drama and managed to avoid their aquisition into the Syndicate - Has a bit of a substance problem from that, but wont really recive any support due to the whole 'tramatised homeless young adult whos primary job is kicking the shit out of white nationalists' thing, so thems the breaks i guess - Shes just chillin

Anna Maria Horsford (born March 6, 1948) is an American actress best known for her roles in the film Friday(1995), as Craig Jones' mother Betty, Thelma Frye on the NBC sitcom Amen (1986–91), and as Dee Baxter on the WB sitcom The Wayans Bros. (1995–99).
She had dramatic roles on the FX crime drama The Shield playing A.D.A. Beth Encardi, and CBS daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful as Vivienne Avant, for which she was nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Guest Performer in a Drama Series in 2016 and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2017.
Horsford appeared in a number of movies, most notable as Craig Jones' mother Betty in 1995 comedy film Friday and its sequel Friday After Next (2002). Her other film credits include Times Square (1980), The Fan (1981), Presumed Innocent (1990), Set It Off (1996), Along Came a Spider (2001), Our Family Wedding (2010), and A Madea Christmas (2013).
Horsford was born in Harlem, New York City to Victor Horsford, an investment real estate broker originally from Barbuda and Lillian Agatha (née Richardson) Horsford, who emigrated from Antigua and Barbuda in the 1940s. She grew up in a family of five children. According to a DNA analysis, she has maternal ancestry from the Limba people of Sierra Leone.
Horsford attended Wadleigh Junior High School and the High School of Performing Arts. After high school, she got into acting through the Harlem Youth for Change program.
Her first job out of high school was with the Joe Papp’s Public Theater, a part in Coriolanus at the Delacorte in Central Park.
On October 29, 2011, Horsford was awarded the title of Ambassador of Tourism of Antigua. She is also a member of Sigma Gamma Rho sorority.
Her first major role in television was as a producer for the PBS show Soul!, hosted by Ellis Haizlip, which aired between 1968 and 1973. One of her first TV appearances was in 1973 on the first run syndication game show of To Tell the Truth where she was an imposter for Laura Livingston, one of the first female military police. Horsford made guest appearances on such sitcoms as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Sparks, Moesha, The Bernie Mac Show, The Shield, Girlfriends, and Everybody Hates Chris.
Horsford currently has a recurring role as Vivienne Avant on The Bold and the Beautiful. For the role, she was nominated for Outstanding Special Guest Performer in a Drama Series in the 43rd Daytime Emmy Awards.
She began playing a recurring role on B Positive in the show's second-season premiere. She also has appeared in the TBS sitcom The Last O.G. featuring Tracy Morgan, as a recurring character (Tray's mother).

OPENING NIGHT of THE PALAZZO
El Palacio, in its original form, though slightly altered to better cover for the hosts behind the scenes. 
Tonight, the Cartel expands its political real-estate through the opening of Palazzo, located in one of the best zipcodes in the city. An expansion that’s well overdue, and riding on the heels of their competitors — Syndicate and the Brotherhood — who have for years harbored those high-end connections.
It’s their turn now, in the form of an upscale nightclub and lounge, crafted for the creme de la creme of New York City elite. The building towers over Broadway and makes the gilded insides a lewd yet safe haven for the most influential names in Manhattan. 
Guests rush in, and songs play loud. Just shy of 10pm, the night is only but starting.
OOC INFORMATION:
IC, the event takes place on the night of March 1st (WorldBurn’s 2 Year Anniversary!). OOC, we’re starting it a bit earlier. 
Part One out of Three. Part one will run briefly, and an update will be made both of the blog and discord for subsequent parts. 
Members are encouraged to pause non-event threads during this event, though it’s not mandatory so long as you prioritize event threads and ensure those are developing along.

THE PALAZZO:
A freshly launched Cartel property. This fact is not yet known by the masses — only Cartel members are aware of this.
An upscale nightclub and lounge, crafted to fit a more elite clientele than the Cancún was able to reach so far. 
All are welcome: it targets civilian, media, and government elite — though gang members wouldn’t be turned away, either. If anything, not yet.
Not your typical nightclub, Palazzo is built almost like a five-star hotel, except for the debauchery held within it. Guests can expect a bar, dancefloor, lounge areas, as well as private rooms should they wish to stray away. Due to the nature of its owners, alcohol and its illegal counterparts can be found in abundance. 
Privacy is promised within the Palazzo’s walls... but there’s no guarantee, paparazzi aren’t waiting just outside of it.
