If I just work a bit harder at being different from “me” I will eventually make it …to being someone else!?!

If I see multiple counselors and healers and meditate for all eternity I will still keep bumping up against my main issue on the path to perfection …“me”

Just like John C. Parkin I can be peaceful, calm and generous, kind, centred and balanced. I can also be stressed, anxious, angry and aggressive, afraid, selfish and cold

It is all “me” and it is all absolutely fine. Its not “good” or “bad” but simply different expressions of my character. And expressions, as their title suggests, must be expressed or “released” now and again.

Trying to exhurt too much control over all the myriad aspects of my true character, holding on to them or keeping them secret, has caused me stress and tension for yeeaaars (I now realise)

Holding in all the “bad” made me very focused on it, to keep it in check. If you concur with the theory that what you plant you grow, it follows that I subsequently just attract more of it into my life.

Obsessing about being less needy simply puts my laser-focus onto neediness in all its forms and draws them in like a magnet. In my attempts to deny or eradicate them, my focus on control, defense and selfishness is then reflected in me and the people I attract into my life

Expressing my character in all its forms keeps everything flowing and stops the laser finding a target. I can just let go and be exactly who I am, instead of trying to be someone else.

I am a beautiful and unique snowflake after all! So there is no need to be like anyone else. I have read so many times, though never put so succinctly…

How very predictable, how very dull. So f**k it, when you put it that way…I prefer excitement to control thanks very much. I’m already who I want to be, I just need to stand by it and enjoy being “me”
