Golden, milky, soft radiance. Eyes like the universe, they call her the siren princess. The king found her in a majestic lotus. She's come from the azure oceans to rob a handsome cowherd from his sleep. Never has misfortune touched where her shadows fall. The dagger beneath the folds of her skin— oh, it's her wit. She has seen the self proclaimed emperor create pawns in her loved ones. The gliding movements as she slips through the fingers of one and all, she's time and timeless.
The earth-goddess. The curst gem’s heiress. The warrior princess turned queen. When Bhama walks her abode, the earth is an embrace. Her bosom. She fancies cradling her babies, abundant patience manifested. The soil up your arms and in your nails, these are her kisses. These fragrant flowers and leaves and misty grasses, this petrichor is her. Everytime you strut barefoot on shores, she sings to you in ghostly brontides.
The wayward princess of the greens. The beasts bow to her commands, they are her playmates. You hear the daughter of Jambavan laugh in the way the winds whisper and the leaves rustle in the jungle. Their cries are an invitation for her to join them still, but the personification of victory is long lost in the viridescent peacock feathers. She refuses to bid adieu to her beloved, like that stubborn tendril fondling her blue water lily visage. He charms all, she bewitches him.
Father's darling, father's mirror. Death's twin, justice is her kin. The ferocity of the solar god poured in a suave maiden of liberation. Yamuna rushes always, in the ears, even if never in sight. Dark, beautiful, beguiling Yamuna. You cannot deny her allure. She's too enticing, like a mother. Like a magician. She's stolen her complexion from sobbing rain clouds. The turbulent waves are only an inch of the fury she's capable of, but you only ever find her frolicking her own banks in childlike zest to the tunes of a flute that call for her.

The Lost Flute - Part 10 (The Lull before the Storm)
Krishna opened his eyes to find the worried faces of Rukmini and Yashoda peering over him. Rubbing his eyes, he sat up, only to realize the sun had risen almost to the centre of the sky. "What?" He muttered to himself when he noticed, a bowl of water and a cloth lying beside him.
"You had a high fever, all last night. You don't remember? Your attendants woke me up when you wouldn't get up for dinner!" Rukmini added helpfully.
Yashoda looked more annoyed, "All that work, I'd warned you, Kanha. Would you never listen?! Your wives also didn't get to sleep the entire night yesterday; I had to postpone my return. Are you happy?!"
Krishna shook his head weakly. "I'm sorry," He added.
Yashoda snapped again, "You should be!"
Krishna sighed and turned to his wife, "Where are the other two overthinkers? Gone to announce it up and down the city squares, have they?"
Rukmini smiled, "Jambavati went to make you some stew...don't worry, I'll slip in some honey when she's not looking, to temper the spice! And Bhama? Well, she went to collect the doctors!"
"Doctors, plural?" Krishna asked gingerly.
"Well, her target is fifty, but we'll see." Rukmini smiled brightly, "Although she is an overachiever, so you never know!"
"And, who's going to pay for all of them?" Krishna asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Probably you, my Lord," Rukmini replied gently, completely missing the sarcasm in his voice.
"Well, where do you think you're going now?" Called Yashoda, as Krishna stopped in his tracks, one leg hanging out of the bed, "Well, the parliament...like, my job?"
"Can't you skip one day?" Rukmini pleaded.
"I cannot, my dear. I must go." Krishna sniffled.
"Yeah," Spoke Yashoda, "Fine! Just walk up to that door without help, hun? Then you can go wherever you want to!"
Krishna stopped to ponder a bit. His head was really spinning a mile an hour. "Fine," he conceded, "The living room, then. I'll work from home."
Yashoda looked angrier, but Rukmini stepped in, "Better seal the deal, Maiya. He'll work either way. This way at least we can keep an eye on him."
---
Krishna sighed as he looked around him. In the short time that it took him to descend from his bedroom to the living room, his wives, with the help of Manmatha, had created a makeshift bed in there. He was propped up by at least twelve soft pillows and Yashoda had insisted on wrapping him in a woollen shawl, "Bhama said this is fashionable nowadays, Kanha!" She was now sitting beside him, feeding him Jambavati's spicy stew as he tried to ignore the sniggering of the people who had brought him some ordinances to sign. Rukmini sat on a throne nearby, her eyes fixed on Krishna's face. By divine grace, he had been able to convince at least Jambavati and Satyabhama to return to their quarters. He shuddered to think of the gossip that would filter through the parliament if they saw him being fussed over like a baby by four grown women!
An attendant entered, announcing the arrival of the Prince Shishupala of Chedi. Krishna's jaw hardened at the mention. "Go," he whispered to Rukmini, "That idiot spews double poison when he sees you! Maiya, you too! Come back when he's gone."
Rukmini left the room, mutterring insults under her breath, alongside Yashoda. The last thing she also wanted to was to have a civil conversation with him.
Krishna sighed as he braced for the upcoming unpleasantness. Shishupala, his cousin, was always too eager to butt heads with him. Although he never dared to go as far as to actually go to war against Krishna, his comments and jibes were a constant source of annoyance at family reunions. He was one of Jarasandha's closest lackeys, and that gave him some sense of superiority as the latter constantly fanned his hatred towards Krishna. Even though he was sick and tired of listening to Shishupala, Krishna chose to always ignore him or leave because of a promise that he had made to his aunt, Shishupala's mother, a long time back. He was to pardon one hundred mistakes of his bratty cousin, who spared no occasion to mouth off to him. Rukmini being betrothed to him before Krishna abducted and married her, also complicated matters significantly.
Krishna forced himself to smile, as Shishupala swaggered in. Immediately he sat down on the throne Rukmini had been occupying. As usual, he had paid no heed to the convention where you do not take a seat in the presence of an elder unless specifically invited. "What?"Krishna snapped, his irritation bubbling up with the fever.
"Just wanted to impart some friendly advice, cousin to cousin." He smirked, "I had gone to visit dear Duryodhana the other day, and saw your assistant, old Akroora, getting real chummy with Auntie Kunti's kids. Their situation is real messy. even I am telling you that! It'd be in your best interest to keep out of it. They're really unlucky, even for their own flesh and blood! Why do you think no one talks to that side of the family?"
Krishna spoke sourly, "My parents were held captive in a dungeon for twenty-five years. I'd say that's pretty unlucky. So, would y'all not talk to us as well, if given the chance?"
"Exactly!" Said Shishupala, baring his teeth, "You do get the point. I honestly don't understand why my father likes you this much, given you are the cause of all your family's problems! Uncle Vasudeva was really a fool to have sa-"
"Shishupala!" Krishna interrupted, "The vow I made to your mother, keeps me from killing you, not smacking you across the face, so don't tempt me!"
"Ooh, the cowherd threatens me!" Shishupaal spoke mockingly, "Count your lucky stars that I didn't tell anyone that I saw your spy lurking around in Hastinapura!"
Krishna laughed in spite of himself, "Ah, thank you, my brother, from the bottom of my heart! For not telling them about the esteemed messenger that I sent to the royal court with gifts for the lot of them, was roaming the palace in his free time!"
Shishupala grunted, "Well, the topic of mother reminds me, she's dead."
"What?!" Krishna cried, almost dropping his bowl of stew, "When?! What happened?"
"Oh, she slipped on the stairs and hit her head I heard. I was in Hastinapura sorting your mess!"
"And you were planning to tell us when exactly?" Krishna spoke through gritted teeth, "When's the prayer meeting?"
"What prayer meeting? We don't have that for women, right? In Chedi, at least I've never seen one." Shishupal scrunched his nose.
"You do realize she's the only reason you're alive right? No, I'm not talking about my deal. Your father was about to have you thrown in a ditch, scared by your divine arms. She's been saving your arse since the day you were born! She was ready to leave your father; to go live in a forest in a thatched hut, begging for alms if that was to be the cost for keeping you alive!" Krishna lifted an arm to stop Shishupala from interrupting, "You don't even care though, do you? Well, I am sorry, my bad. I had expectations." Krishna shook his head, "Well, I'll have a meeting arranged for her here. You and your father come or don't. I don't even care. Well, there's the door. Please see yourself out before I lose my mind!"
Krishna found himself breathing heavily, vision blinded with rage, as he watched his cousin walk out, scattering a string of expletives on his way. Yashoda was standing behind the doorway listening to their conversation. She rushed in with a glass of water, gently caressing Krishna's hair. That would always calm him down as a child, but today Krishna seemed too angry. Yashoda had never seen him this angry before. "What does he think?" Krishna fumed, "That we're all joking when we caution him? Mention the deal with his mother. Wars are started for less than what he puts us through on a regular basis! He thinks I won't ever have the heart to actually kill him. Well, I would've..." Krishna trailed off, and Yashoda tried to shush him in vain.
Suddenly, Manmatha rushed into the room. He looked as if he'd run all the way up from the beach. "Sage Durvasa is here, he wants you and the princess." He said, panting. Krishna sighed. "Of course," He said exasperated, "Where is he?"
"Making a scene at the main square."
"Of course he is." Krishna laughed ruefully. Turning to Yashoda, she asked where Rukmini had gone.
Yashoda replied in a small voice, "She said she felt dirtied by the words of your cousin, so she went to take a bath."
"I'll tell her to meet you there," Whistled Manmatha as he ran past them. Krishna let out a miffed grunt as he tried to steady his head in order to face the troublemaker rishi.

This patient was referred to Dr. Bhama for nasal obstruction. She had a long standing history of difficulty breathing through her nose and desired nasal surgery. She also requested cosmetic refinement of her nasal dorsum and tip. Options were discussed and the patient elected for dual functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty. Dr. Bhama performed surgery at the surgery center, which went well. Early post-operative photos are shown, demonstrating an excellent improvement in her nasal tip and dorsum. She was very happy with cosmetic results and was able to breathe much easier through her nose. Her swelling will continue to improve with time.

Because my last piece of writing got a lot of love and this what I present you now, was written an year ago and I do think my present writing (at least in Krishavyayam) is slightly better than this.
I'll be posting the hyperlink of this too in my intro post, because I realised it'd be tedious to scroll all the way to Vaikuntha. The other three writings (Lakshmis come home, Yamuna x Kanha, Rukmini - Satyabhama) have their hyperlinks already updated there. Alright I ramble a lot don't I-
══✿══╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿══
SatyabhaMadhavam
He was brawn, his biceps clasping his foe betwixt them as he thrashed him to the ground in a trice. His knuckles morphed white, blue-black curls which donned an iridescent peacock feather all the time bellowed at his outrage and danced upon his shoulders. His warm hazel eyes, which were oceans of compassion blazed like the dancing flames of fire, rage filling him at the mere sight of his imprisoned parents, at them from whom he had to part right after his birth.
A nine year old Satyabhama witnessed in awe, the glory of the son of Devaki, of whom she had harkened limitless narratives of. Of his bravery, his extraordinary strength and prowess at slaying demons which his own maternal uncle sent for the sole purpose of killing him right from his very first day in the world. The eleven and a half year old boy afore her chocolate eyes wasn't the cowherd of Vrindāvana, he was the Kāla of Kamsa and his tyranny at Mathurā. Vraja leela had come to a cease, and this was the commencement of his Mathura leela.
Gritting in his teeth, the immoral son of Ugrasena jumped to his feet and pounced upon his sororal nephew, desiring to push him to the ground with all his vitality, but to no avail. Satyabhama's Madhava stood like a bull among men, his feet on the ground as firm as his character and resolution. He was to be known as Yogeshvara after all, a title bestowed to him which made him the lord of yogis. Krishna was Leela Purushottama, the best among men.
"If you lose, my lovely nephew, then you die. And if I do, your guile parents and vicious grandfather will be pushed in the mouth of death, Krishna!" Kamsa sneered, reminding him the rules of this duel and casted a spontaneous glance on the executioners. "I'll kill you." every syllable he uttered dripped acid, his eyes now bloodshot.
"We shall see that, dearest uncle." Kanha scoffed, his eyes a swirling melange of his fury and the agony that sprang in him at the sight of his children who cried 'Trahi! Trahi!' over the years. Ugrasena, Devaki and Vasudeva, raised their palms in abhaya mudra, blessing the lord who bowed his head subtly, assuring them with a sempiternal seraphic smile. The shackled royals stood at a dais, awaiting to be guillotined the moment their Kanha would dispatch his vicious uncle to the afterlife.
Kamsa marred his face with a sickly scowl, growling as his nephew dodged his blow and twisted his arm, hauling him to the demesne once again. Krishna's clenched jaw twitched a muscle, the grim look on his face speaking of his ability of creation and destruction, his fierce form which the universe seldom witnessed.
Clasping her father's angavastram in her dainty fingers, Satyabhama concealed herself behind him, feeling her heart thump at the sight of a howling Kamsa as her curious eyes remained rooted to Kanha. Her eyes met his for a split second, and the daughter of Satrajita was swayed off her feet. She found in his eyes, a zephyr of his pure love kissing her heart. She knew that Bhudevi would forever belong to her Varahadeva, this form or the other. Much like how Hara-Gauri and Medha-Brahma belonged to each other alone - from the beginning of time, now and for the rest of eternity too.
'When have we ever parted, Bhamae?' he teased and she almost facepalmed at his mischief.
'Even at this time, hey Naatha?' The mystical curl of her lips and the scarlet of her cheeks were enough to amuse and confuse the merchant of Dvaraka, her father Satrajita at the same time as he failed to notice the warm and similar aureole the two kids radiated, being the parents of the universe.
'Never ever, my lord.' the corner of her lips tugged up, her chest swelled up in pride as she faced the duel arena once again. Her vaatsalya dripping doe eyes softened as she took in the form of a thoroughly exhausted Kamsa, catching his breath as he glared daggers at her lord. 'Convey Jaya back to our home in Vaikuntha. It is time.'
With a final groan, the manifestation of MahaVishnu pounced upon his maternal uncle, sending him flying back. A last, harsh blow of a fist and Kamsa breathed his last, his eyes rolling to the back as he was freed from his sinister body. Waiting with bated breaths, some adored Keshava while some loathed, some were left dumbstruck while others seemed pained.
A triumphant outcry erupted in the arena and Satyabhama released the breath she didn't know she had been holding in. Haladhara ruthlessly smashed Kamsa's supporters who attempted to ambush his baby brother. Resting his mighty mace on his shoulders, he gave a wide sarcastic grin to the ones who cowered away.
With a lone solemn glance, Krishna turned to the executioners of Kamsa who held his family and had been ordered to execute the instant Kamsa would lose. And within a fraction of second, Vasudeva, Devaki and Ugrasena were set independent, now breathing a sigh of relief.
Krishna gingerly strutted to his aunts with folded palms, Asti and Prapti who lamented and beat their breasts at the commencement of their widowhood by the corpse of their late husband. "Even though I tried my best to prevent it, it is I who has caused you great sorrow, Aunt. Please bestow me with forgiveness." his facial features bore torment and his gaze remained rooted to the floor, guilt eating him up from the inside. The daughters of Jarasandha then instantaneously left for their father's abode, Magadha. Satyabhama's shoulders dropped in dismay, knowing where this was going.
Mushtika, Chanoora and after the elephant Kuvalayapeeta, Krishna had passed the final hurdle named Kamsa like a child's play. Ultimately a new sun emerged from the back of the mountains, emitting rays that marked the break of dawn. A dawn of dharmarājya in Mathura. But, would it prevail for a prolonged period of time?
Grimacing, Satyabhama shook her head to clear her thoughts. For, for the world she had been a mere child and she had to keep everyone in that illusion, everywhen.
"Putri, come!" called Satrajit when he had scurried to the Yādava family. Pulling up a beatific beam, she twirled and hopped in her steps. Every step pulling her closer to where her Avyukta was, her giggles representing the ecstasy of the universe.
"What is your name, child?" Vasudeva smiled, noticing the way Kanha's gaze never left Satrajiti.
"Satyabhama." came the prompt, chirpy reply. The birds began singing melodies sweeter than honey as pleasant winds enveloped the arena.
Satyabhama, sang the universe, much like how the sound Om repeated itself over and over again.
Satyabhama, her name was like clouds weeping elixir, breathing life in barren lands.
"Satyabhama." Balarama repeated, almost in a whisper. "Beaming with truth. A jewel among women that you already seem like, little sister." he beamed as Ugrasena cooed at the child too.
"Indeed."
Devaki ran an affectionate hand in the midnight black tresses of the doe-eyed girl who in turn batted her eyelashes innocently, almost casting a spell on everyone. Krishna's feet drew him to his Bhama, her magnetism like that of the sun, and her petite frame only seemed to be squirming in front of his brawn one. A wine hued blush coated her cheeks as she lost and found herself in his lotus orbs at the same time.
"Satrajiti." he pronounced, his eyes bearing the purest form of love for his eternal consort.
'Priyatamā.'
"Rajkumar." she breathed, feeling him in her soul like she always did.
