We express satisfaction about something based on how much we value it. We won’t find happiness in it if we don’t appreciate it. For example, if you have received a long-anticipated or cherished gift, you responded with joy because it was something you valued.
For the believer, when you appreciate God more than anything else, you will experience the greatest pleasure possible. You will be forever happy because Christ is eternally valuable. https://lifeovercoffee.com/a-post-christmas-follow-up-are-you-happy/

Biblical counseling services #Biblicalcounseling #Jesus #God #Confidenti... Again, please pray for my friend giving him traveling mercies. He is traveling across the country because his stepfather recently passed away. He and his family members will be paying respects to his stepfather and doing the business of the family when a member passes. As discussed, I am a counselor. I am a paraprofessional and approach counseling using the Bible. This type of counseling is different from traditional counseling and very inexpensive compared to traditional counseling. My counseling covers a variety of areas, these include relationship advice, family counseling, personal counseling involving trials and tribulations as well as situations involving mental illness. I am NOT a doctor, so if you need the advice and treatment of a doctor, please SEEK OUT MEDICAL ATTENTION. I am available to talk. I will help you find a way through your situation, being totally confidential. I am available to work with your medical provider. The fees are very reasonable. No insurance is accepted. I do not do this for profit, but to help people work through the situations they are in using the Bible as a basis of resolution. I pray each one of you is blessed by our Lord Jesus and that God provides you with grace. To contact me, please use this email. [email protected]. I will do an interview with you to discuss a protocol to help you through your situation. If you are a couple, (husband and wife or boyfriend and girlfriend) individual interviews would be needed first so I can understand what your situation is and formulate a plan. Again, I do not replace the need for a doctor. If you should need one. In fact, if needed, I will recommend you seek out a medical professional. Everything said is in the strictness of confidence! Today was my last class I’ll take in Seminary. I’ve learned a lot and been challenged in my thinking. Even if I didn’t agree with everything I was taught, I still greatly appreciate the professors I’ve had. I don’t think it’s sunk in yet that after 4yrs I’m almost done. #almostdone #southernseminary #biblicalcounseling #2022grad https://www.instagram.com/p/Cctm6AxLBVeC9CjRHNlu0UQWVMBN5LyIvSluq40/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

How do you PERCEIVE it and what would you DO about it?” This was the word I received from the Spirit when I inquired about the next series. What did God say? The legalism that drives perfectionism is an illusionary lifestyle. It only works if we can hide our real problems—our true selves—by avoiding public scrutiny. Think fig leaves (Genesis 3:7). If we can keep our issues hidden, we can present ourselves well in a performance-based religious culture that pursues righteousness and harshly judges mistakes.
hello! i'm creating this blog to chronicle a journey in the fight against scrupulosity, also known as religious OCD. recently putting a name to a struggle I've had for years- is both scary and also liberating. in the words of one of my favorite musicians, "when the lies don't bend but break you know the truth is at stake." there IS truth that sets us free, if you're hedged in- don't just press on some unyielding foliage. put your arm straight through because it's all lies, and there is freedom on the other side, through faith! so many people suffer with this and there are really just not that many resources online that I have found. so I feel lead to make this. maybe no one will see it, but I hope people do. scrupulosity must bow to Jesus. His grace is sufficient for you, and apart from Him- you can do nothing FOR Him. He loves us. let's fight the good fight of faith, taking hold of the eternal life to which we were called!
