Not to be a little bitch but I got my flu + covid vaccines yesterday and my arm hurts and I have a headache :( at the very least I don't feel sick or like I have a cold...

having been sick the past couple days means anytime i am reminded of The Sickness (sneeze, cough, feel like shit when not resting in bed doing nothing, etc) my brain just blasts "i think i hauve covid" over and over again until i get distracted with something else and forget about The Sickness again. then repeat.

Lmao thought it was allergies but, after sweating through my scrubs twice yesterday due to fever chills, I’ve finally accepted I’m actually ill
#it’s funny how growing up with a parent who - for whatever reason - decided every time you’re sick you must be faking it affects you#I was sickly as a child yet every time I had to ‘prove’ it to my mom#so now I just assume I’m ‘faking it for attention’ (why would a child do that?) whenever I’m ill#and take 3-5 business days to recognize oh no I’m actually sick#once again tested negative for covid tho#big vaxxed papi untouchable meme
