No one asked for more of it but I wanted it so I present to you: THE PACIFIC RIM BIRD AU!!!

In this AU, humans are the Kaiju and technically not all the characters are birds (looking at you Newton).

But anyway, I’ve been having a lot of fun with these doodles so I decided to share them with you all. If you have any suggestions for doodles you’d like to see in this universe, feel free to let me know. I definitely plan on making more of these.

I came to realize A Hat In Time has the setup for a popular Scottish tongue twister.

Been working on this for several days now and only just realized I have no good way to present it; Tumblr kept encountering an error uploading the individual panels, even coupled by 3's, and I don't have any fancy software to organize comic panels but I did have enough panels to call it a storyboard animatic so I slipped it into a video sequence. I'll try to post the strip when I can get to work.

I have no experience writing a Scottish dialect so I typed it how it sounds.

a) one of your drivers is p2 in the championship the other is a good 40 points behind im not sure there’s much question abt which one it would be fighting for p1 this season

b) how are you not going to help one of your drivers in a championship fight until the last couple of races???? i know he knows how championships work you can’t leave it until the last minute???? literally now is the time you’ve got to properly go for a championship, while red bull and max are struggling

unfortunately Andrea this is a sport where you can't always exactly "be fair"

I know you don't want a no. 1 and a no. 2 and we're not saying to blatantly prioritise a driver, but like maybe don't stick to agreements you make before a race even fucking starts, especially one as fucking stupid as "whoever leads into the second stops gets to keep it" - the race ends at the chequered flag not with 20+ laps to go

right now with Checo apparently competing to see who can lose his newly won contract the quickest, Red Bull also fumbling strats and Max seemingly letting his temper influence mistakes, it is the PERFECT time to capitalise on finally having designed a championship winning car and having not one but two very capable drivers, with one of them who is genuinely in contention for P1 with the way he's been driving all season
