This little NPC is lost. The Narrator [Black] has come to guide her back to where she needs to be. [Blank Scripts AU]

I imagine Black would be a lot more tolerant toward his NPCs since they're basically just the Dungeons spawns, and by extension, his own creations.

[If you're familiar with manhwas / manhuas that features the dungeon / system genre, you'd be able to understand this AU a lot easier. The majority of my inspiration for worldbuilding came from those specific genres.]

[NOTE: 'Dungeon' is just another term for the Parable. Technically, Black owns a Dungeon and the Parable is just a small part of it. The Dungeon itself is much, much larger.]

For context, the comic below references this post about the Dungeon's children/guard dogs.

[They're more like the immune system since all they do is make sure the (body) is safe.]

[The reason the Narrator [Black] considers them his children is that the Dungeon is feeding off his energy and in turn shares the 'nutrients' to the monsters it produces, which transforms them into an image that resembles his power.]

And the old man below is Joseph!

Joseph is NOT AN NPC! He is a person who exists outside of the Dungeon!

[There are two separate 'worlds' for this AU. Inside the Dungeon (where most of the game-like stuff is happening) and the world outside (pretty much their normal world.)]

[There is a secret third world, and that's our world. Our reality.]

These characters are not actually important or anything, I just made them to make the AU feel more lively. To make a world that exists, you know?

When the Narrator [Black] first established himself in their world, he found a growing problem with homelessness. Not understanding human norms or why this has become a problem in the first place, he offers (tricks) them into working for him as janitors for the Dungeon and they accept for the money.

Most of them left after they got paid, but Joseph was one of the people who stayed. He doesn't have anywhere else to go and has no ambitions in life. He just wishes to live a peaceful life with food and a roof over his head.

Joseph defaults to referring to the Narrator [Black] with feminine terms due to his appearance despite his voice. The Narrator [Black] is not the type to care for such terms anyway so he doesn't care how other people refer to him as long as there's respect.

This post focuses more on the worldbuilding and background aspects of the AU! There are a lot more in store for the Blank Scripts AU, and I want to explore more on how the characters might interact with their surroundings and how this would work to make a world that makes sense.

It would be so cool if people made self-inserts or OCs for my AU actually. I'd love to see how you guys would work with my stuff. Play around with it like a barbie world for your little barbie dolls. Be canon compliant, be canon divergent, who cares, have fun.

Parental figures who curiously pose together well when they are together for a wild kid (neo3) ☝️ (Like those movie posters LMAO)

They complement each other very well and Neo3 is a parentless young Octoling with "Inkling personality and culture" so he sees them as an example to follow in both ways. 🥺 In terms of combat, Three as the captain would teach him more how to fight and Eight is the emotional support part because he doesn't like fighting (and is very absent in the Squidbeak Splatoon, but sometimes he happens to be there) and is more into fashion and songs stuff despite being the one who has had it the hardest.

BLACK SHEEP LOOKS SO...AAAAAAA MORE INFO AB THIS LORE SWAP AU:

Black Sheep's Lore (in this AU, also not exactly the same as my OC's orig lore, just similar, just so it can fit Black Sheep's character) - has issues with family - her father, Dexter Wolfe, is a crimelord. and Isabella wanted to follow in her Father's footsteps, but Wolfe was ofcourse against this so Isa ended up running away from home to pursue her passion for crime - she was nurtured by a gang of Thieves, one of the thieves secretly being a Seasoned operative looking for recruits, said operative didn't expect to see such amazing Thieving skills from a person as young as 10 years old (yes Black sheep ran away at 10 years old, my oc did in my original AU so yh) - she worked hard just to even be considered by Vile, and was admitted to the school with strings attached (having to go through extra classes due to the fact that she started being a student at Vile academy at the age of 13) Carmen (Blank) Sandiego's Lore (In this AU) - similar to Black Sheep, Blank's Father was a Crime lord/Vile Faculty member - His Father, (Codename: San Felipe Delos Reyes, often called just Reyes) a Vile Faculty member had been planning to leave Vile. and just as stated in the show, No one ever leaves Vile. i think you know the rest - Blank was given his code name because he came to vile as a Blank Slate (the same as the my orig AU)

Caldera (on left) and Deci (on right) are the same person, just alive and dead. I wanted to do some physical comparison between them. She/her for both Caldera when she's alive and Deci when she's dead.

More info below

Height: Caldera has bad posture and stands shorter than 5'5 when hunched VS Deci who is stretched like taffy. Deci can be anywhere from 6 to 7 feet and usually floats.

Eyes: Caldera has bad insomnia and has noticeable eye bags VS Deci's eyes are wide and she doesn't blink. (the second of Caldera's eyes there is the color pallet her eyes get after a demon deal)

Expression: Caldera is usually tense and easily disgusted and annoyed VS Deci got rid of all emotional facial expression. Reading faces sucked during life so now no one gets to read hers. (when Deci isn't centered her face/body get more abstract with anger or mania)

Hands: Caldera struggled with nail picking (Onychotillomania) all her life. It eventually evolved into general ocd about having nails. Attempts have been made to cut them out completely. VS Deci has no nails whatsoever and no toes at all. Deci's hands are also elongated and spidery to match her new look.

Chest: Caldera has tits. Deci got rid of them. (indulgent on my part heheheh. autism sensory nightmare both Caldera and I shared..)

Clothes: Caldera would wear one pair of clothes out completely before having to buy another. Picking out clothes was a annoying. VS Deci's default form is both nude and clothed at once. Convenient.

Caldera was a miserable genius when she was alive, in death Deci is free from society and anxiety. Deci thinks all humans are trapped in their gross flesh bodies with things they don't need. Since she's smart she knows this better than most people and will kill and/or lobotomize others to help them. Smart ones turn into ghosts like her. Ones that pass on should still be grateful.

She is a fun villain to have around other mentally ill characters.

OOHhh! Hugo was looking for a caregiver because he needed one, and he liked Fletcher’s mane. They were pretty apprehensive with each other at first, Hugo likes to keep to himself and Fletcher wasn’t sure on how to look after a child. But they got along well over time to the point where Fletcher sees Hugo as his own.

BLANKS

Blanks are a species created in the sparkle cat factory. The factory was once a lab that held their creator till she....cleared it out. But it was lonely on her own so she wanted to make more creatures like her BUT she didn't want to force anything on them so their final form is up to them. She can help them become their true selves instantly if they want her to or they are free to find out on their own.

She cares for the blanks protecting them like their her family she wants them to be safe she wants them to be free. It's why she let's them go on to new places if they wish it but she will always warn them that she is not able to keep them safe out there. But they are always welcome back home at the factory if they need it

The factory is a old lab in the middle of the deep woods and it's full of all sorts of machinery tanks and homes for each blank that is created. They expand their home with whatever is needed for each blank or sparkle cat be it aquariums, greenhouses or anything else you can imagine.

A trait they have picked up from they're creator is the ability to have their paws glow with a flurry of showing off the creative energy that makes up their bodies
