weird bleach headcanons: fuck marry kill edition

Alarmingly some of you pornbots and perhaps actual humans (hollows too I dont judge) seem to enjoy this kind of fuckery so enjoy your juice I guess.

When you start spicing up your LoL matches by playing unhinged Bleach "Fuck Marry Kill" with your friend and what we've found is the following:

-Shuhei Hisagi wins an alarming amount of the time. We are just feral for Hisagi and not afraid to show it but honestly we already knew that anyway it just becomes apparent in FMK how thirsty we are for him

-Perspectives were forever changed here. Adding Yamamoto into the mix when he's the real catch is just cruel because I had no choice but to eliminate him. "It's not that I'm too good for him, it's that I'm not good ENOUGH for him." "Oh fuck I didnt think of that"

-Grimmjow is not housebroken in the least. Put up against Starrk and Aizen, was the fucking worst thing to rationalize. Aizen ended up the marry option. I'm still not sure how that happened.

-Gin gets the Kill option far too much it's so fucking unfair

-Kisuke beats out Aizen though (this is where we differ in taste though previously marrying Aizen was a shock)

-Bazz B gets the fuck option a lot. I feel like no one is surprised here.

-Kenpachi needs to be eliminated from FMK for the pure reason that he is forever relegated to either fuck or marry status BECAUSE YOU CANNOT KILL KENPACHI. ONLY KENPACHI CAN KILL KENPACHI. THATS HOW NEW KENPACHI HAPPEN. SO UNLESS YOU WANT TO ALSO BE NEW KENPACHI (which wont happen because as previously stated you cannot kill Kenpachi) MAKE YOUR PEACE WITH MARRYING OR FUCKING THIS MAN. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT IF YOU FUCK HIM SURVIVAL CHANCES ARE LOW. GODSPEED AND ENJOY YOUR DEATH BY SNUU SNUU.

-Renji was curiously not brought up this time. Nor was Byakuya. Do what you will with this information.

I'm a disgrace, what else would it be? They don't like Kido in the 11th division, and I went through a lot to be there. Even changing my family name from "Itsuki" to "Osode". I've answered this quite a few times, don't know how you missed it.

very basic questions like "what's your favorite gotei 13 division" often have people answering things like "3rd, 10th, 2nd, 6th" etc as if 12th division doesn't eat them all up for breakfast lunch and dinner

Kenpachi's Place

On the subject of "what people call each other" more generally, my favorite Bleach topic, Aizen is also kind of weird about Zaraki. He refers to Renji leaving the 5th for the 11th as Renji being "taken away to Kenpachi's place." Was he. Was he kidnapped. Is Kenpachi's Place a trafficking front.

Referring to Zaraki by title is a Choice, for sure. I don't know if anyone else does that (besides Ichigo), but I can think of many who do not, would never.

Referring to the 11th as "Kenpachi's Place" also feels like a Choice. It makes me think about Renji's question to Ichigo when they first meet:

His meaning of is speech bubble is, "Which [number] Division are you affiliated with?" but the pronunciation is just "Where are you affiliated?" So there's already a sense, I guess, that the geographic question of "where" implies your divisional affiliation, and that divisions are thought of as places. Makes sense, given that all the divisions are meaningful geographic spreads in the Seireitei.

Is it still weird that it's "Kenpachi's Place" and not just idk, "the 11th Division"? I mean, I think it is, but it does speak to the unique tradition of leadership succession the 11th's got going on, and how intense the cult of personality is in the 11th, as a division whose nature is extremely tied to the nature of whoever its leader happens to be.

Aizen also never actually refers to the 11th as the 11th, so in order to make that connection we'd have to remember Zaraki's name and number from when he showed up at Byakuya's Place. Why wouldn’t he? Idk but I enjoy it as character info. (NB: Byakuya is perfectly happy to refer to Tousen purely by number, as "9th Captain" and not by any name at all, so there's a lot of different conventions out and about across the various captains.)

So a few more thoughts on my super dumb Bleach AU where Quincy war goes bad and Aizen and Ichigo go back in time. (Links to previous posts here and here)

This is just arrancar all ending up in soul society. Like Ichigo somehow finds a way to get them to evolve to arrancar form (Residuals of the Hogyokus powers? Ichigo somehow ended up becoming the soul king without anyone realizing? Aizen has no idea and a t this point has given up trying to figure anything out about Ichigo and his powers all it does is give him a headache and have hs office turn into that always sunny meme)

So Ichigo ends up smuggling Grimmjow in and tries to hide him... it's actually the disaster trio of Byakuya, Soi Fon and Gin who start the mess. (Because they've followed Ichigo on trips to Hucheo mundo and know all the arrancar it's a little hard for their sensei/surrogate big brother to hide his maybe a boyfriend from them)

Someone catches them when Ulquiorra is with them in soul society and Byakuya starts it all when he just turns to the freaking out Shinigami and says completely calmly 'This is my cousin' and of course all the Shinigami are like 'No...No we can sense hollow reiatsu' and Byakuya just stares back 'no he's my cousin, can't you see he's clearly a Kuchiki'

And no one can quite argue with that. Also they don't exactly look like a normal hollow. (When asked about the mask and Hollow hole Byakuya and co just answer 'it's a skin condition')

This leads to Soi Fon ad Gin joining in and all three of them coming up with dumber and dumber excuses for the arrancar that they smuggle in, just to see how dumb they can get.

After a while the entire soul society is full of arrancar, and a lot are in multiple divisions 11th love them! these guys are awesome at fighting, we will protect them at all costs, 6th, 3rd and 2nd for obvious reasons, 4th because Unohana thinks this is hilarious. Then 5th because Shinji thinks this is part of Aizen's plan and wants to see what he's planning. He still thinks Aizen has an evil scheme going on... when in reality Aizen is trying not have an aneurysm and screaming into the void.

So anytime central 46 tries to do execution orders or be like 'WHY ARE THERE HOLLOWS EVERYWHERE' everyone else just goes 'What hollows? Those are just Shinigami with a skin condition'.

Shinji is still doing the keeping your enemy close thing... at this point there's a betting pool of how long it takes him to figure out Aizen's no longer planning the whole evil take over plan and just how close he'll get to him...as they're basically currently dating most bets are like 10 years after they're married

The Captain commander knows whats going on but after dealing with Ichigo and his chaotic trio of students he's just given up at this point
