blitzø quite honestly doesn’t understand all that hype about loo loo land, but if it makes you happy, than hey, fuck it, am i right?

the only thing he genuinely doesn’t like is the possibility of running into fizz, they may have sorta made up, but it’s still a bit awkward — at least for now

he’ll go do all the rides with you, even the ones he thinks are dumb, or straight-up creepy, whether he says it or not he likes seeing you get all excited about it

although, he genuinely does get into the rides that go upside-down and backwards and that go crazy fast, he’s screaming out of excitement the whole damn way, and you both probably end up going on those like 100 times

and yes, he did spend the fifty dollars on that novelty cup that you can only use once, all for you

while at loo loo land, he may baby you just a tad, especially if you’re an age-gap couple where he’s significantly older

like blitzø, he’ll go on all the rides with you, but not the big, scary rides like blitzø would do, nah, stolas would do the kiddy ones and sit there clap his hands like a small child…

as we can see in S1E2, he will spend a shit ton of money on any kind of merchandise like shirts, hats, cups, toys, etc — will probably bring something from for via as well

speaking of via, her father will constantly be sending her pictures of the two of you while on your outing, while octavia is stuck at home with stella…

once millie finds out your going to loo loo land for her birthday, she’s over the moon!! she gets packed and dressed up and everything!!

she gets all excited like a little kid, she’ll be the first one rushing you both to any sort of ride, kiddy or not, or any of the game booths

honestly, it’s very heart-warming and sweet to see this grown ass woman get excited about a theme park, and i’m not even kidding

though she won’t hesitate to tear anyone apart who even thinks about ruining her birthday date for either of you…

One of the main things that annoys me in Helluva Boss (among the other problems of the show) is that they make Striker and his ideas look ridiculous but he actually got a fucking point.

His whole point is literally just being a low class person who wants equal rights. He's right- the rich and powerful abuse the poor, the system is rigged against his people, it's not fair.

Yeah Ozzie and Stolas are good, it doesn't mean they're not part of the problem of social hierarchies. They're not actively trying to change things, they're letting the problem still happen- even if they have a soft spot for Blitz and Fizz.

The system still sucks. And it's working against imps.

But he's a joke of a villain, his ideas not taken seriously and not explored beyond the first episode he appeared in.

He's not treated seriously as a character.

He's wrong in his ways of execution, but I admit- the man has a point.

He doesn't come close to being my favorite character from the show, the amount the show made him look ridiculous made me dislike him.

Liked him in the first episode but after it he was just an eh. But he has a fucking point.

“When did you adopt your daughter?”

Blitz shrugged to himself, “Let’s see, how many years now? She was seventeen when I adopted her so . . .”

“Seventeen? I had assumed you had gotten her much younger than that.” Stolas said.

“Meh, don’t say gotten. Makes her sound like an object. She’s a hellhound, so she’s sensitive about things like that.” Blitz said.

“Oh, right. I'm very sorry.” Stolas immediately replied, “Though, and please pardon me for saying so, I’ve never heard of someone taking one in to be their child. What made you decide to-”

Blitz pointed his butter knife in his direction, “Listen buddy, you’re dating an imp, so I assumed you weren’t prejudice on stupid sh*t like that. Don’t prove me wrong.”

Whoops, perhaps too surprised, “O-of course! I mean, I-I didn't mean to- I'm sorry. It's very new to me, so I don't know the right words to use,” he explained, “but if she’s your daughter, she’s your daughter.”

Blitz grinned a proud dad grin, “That’s right.”

“So, she joined your family at seventeen? I’m curious. What made you choose her of all the pups that were available- I mean, up for adoption?” Stolas spoke as he realized that the vocabulary he had been taught really was outdated at best, “I’ve always wonder what kind of thought must go into such a big decision.”

"Well,” Blitz sighed, “There were so many that were sad and needed a parent desperately. And given the state of things, many of them wouldn’t get them, just an owner, if they were lucky. But . . .” he trailed off for a moment and smiled, “I saw her, looking so big, and yet so small. I heard the lady who ran the place talking about how useless she thought she was,” he spat the word and sighed again, “I was about her age when my life first fell apart. I didn’t have anyone to help me back then. I just thought . . . maybe I could help her.” He looked up, then back down again, “S-sorry, it sounds stupid . . . saying it outloud.”

“No, no!” Stolas said, leaning forward, “It sounds wonderful. You needed her and she needed you. There’s nothing more beautiful than that. And there’s nothing else needed to make you two a family.”

Blitz smiled, placing his hands on his hips, “Yeah . . . I don't know about beautiful, but yeah, you’re absolutely right.”

“So . . . how did your life fall apart at her age?” He quickly added, “I-If that’s alright.”

Blitz was quiet for a moment, “Meh, that’s a story for another time. . . sorry.”

“No . . . no, that’s a perfectly valid answer.” Stolas reassured.

“I-I really do want to tell you, I just . . .” Blitz searched for the words, and came up empty.

“It’s alright, really. It’s just the first date. There will be plenty of time.” Stolas said the words, but felt he was choking on them. Blitz didn’t know it yet, but unless some miracle happened, there would be no next time.
