A mess of notebooks and papers. I've taken to organizing them in multiple piles across my floor. Somewhere slowly functionality over aesthetics has taken over life. My various fragile and beautiful fountain pens swapped for a sturdy indestructible rotring 600 ballpoint. Beautifully kept notebooks exchanged for loose sheets of paper flouncing around. To some extent, I do miss the enforced slowness of the other tools. At the same time, I've always had an aesthetic obsession which has often been suffocating. It has been nice to let go.

If I see this in a natal chart it would indicate to me that the native has had issues with their father or figures with authority in general. Could also be men in their family. I have also noticed the fathers side of the family were absent, early on they could have been separated. The separation could be due to many threats. If not cultivated well, this aspect is common amongst serial killers and people notorious for being bullies.

i think the thing i'm most disappointed about with riordanverse fandom now versus like 2014 is not only has the fandom not gotten any less racist or queerphobic or ableist (in fact in some regards its gotten worse!) but now it's just boring too. like there's no fandom infrastructure anymore - the community these days is almost entirely source material-driven - and you deviate from canon even slightly people get weird about it. whatever happened to the post-HoO fanon boom. the fandom needs to get weirder again. and self-sufficient. and less offensive.

happy april fools folks here's non-joking work on the sticker sheets finally *wheeze*

the sticker sheets may end up having fresh dough design variants or just be the fresh dough designs to remove some of the copyright possibilities, we'll see!

reminder/tip, particularly for newer pjo fans: do not crosstag!

for those who don't know, crosstagging is tagging irrelevant tags on a post, usually popular tags to try and get more views on the post.

Tumblr doesn't work the same way instagram or tiktok or twitter does. Crosstagging is considered spam, and your blog will be flagged if you do this.

particularly in pjo fandom, crosstagging includes tagging characters that don't actually appear in the post, tagging books or series unrelated to the post (like tagging "TSATS" on a post not specifically about TSATS, or tagging HoO on a post about first series specifically, etc.), tagging "pjo fanfic" or "pjo headcanon" or similar on a post that, obviously, isn't that, and/or tagging irrelevant ships. More recently, this also includes tagging the show (PJO TV, etc) on posts that are completely irrelevant to the show.

This mostly only applies for original posts - Tags you put on reblogs only apply to your own blog's organizational system, and has no bearing on the original post itself. But it's really annoying to the original poster if you spam tags, because it will appear in their notifs. It's pointless to spam tags in reblogs for these reasons regardless, so it's best not to.

just remember: crosstagging is not allowed on tumblr, doesn't work that way here anyways, and is just generally rude. so don't do it.

Like, no, he's not dangerous, wants to kill everyone and hates Jack, he's just as much of a teenager as everyone else in Newsies, the only difference is that he's been put in an EXTREMELY important position, which is the leader of the most respected borough in New York, which makes him, like Jack, adopt a facade so that others will respect him

I understand those who do this for fun, it just makes me a little angry when they don't put any depth into his character in a fic, for example, and make him be like that

About Jack's betrayal, I agree that he probably never forgave him and probably never will, but he doesn't hate him as much as the fandom make him hate him, like, if you have headcanon of them as siblings, the hate and the hurt becomes much more justified
