Welcome to my blog within a blog! I'm going to try updating this tumblr account with links to my blog posts as they update so that people can... social media it good... it made sense in my head.

What is the blog? It's where I challenge myself to cook and eat every recipe in a selected videogame. I'll just start with catching up on my Splatoon 2&3 challenge and you'll get the idea. I'll get the idea. We'll both get ideas.

okay college au, I have some other college ideas here (namely frat boy Gale and nerdy John, hella hella sweetness) but gonna officially start an au lmao

heyyy blogception with this pic but I thought it was good for this au lmao anyway

Gale who's an aerospace engineering major with a minor in astrophysics, just loves all things space and wants to work at NASA or Ball or smth on their spacecraft

John who's a kinesiology major who wants to specify in sports medicine, maybe even open his own practice for injured athletes

but they meet when they're in gen chem together and they IMMEDIATELY butt heads, Gale's very methodical in labs while John wants to joke and have fun, like I said before Gale's trying not to throttle John for the whole three hour lab

things are tense for the first couple of labs because of how much their personalities clash, but they're forced to spend so much time together that they have to get used to each other, spending countless hours pouring over lab reports and studying for midterms together

it becomes their weekly routine, John will wander into the commons of Gale's honors dorm and start acting annoying, drawing little stars and hearts on Gale's paper, writing "HEY BUCK" in big scrawling writing and while Gale pulls away his paper a little annoyed he can't help but smile and blush

they end up spending a lot of time together, getting dinner and lunch when they want a break from studying, studying for all their chem midterms and finals together and they become close friends

of course John would come in bitching one day about not having a date for valentines day and Gale's like "we could do something" and quickly tacks on "AS FRIENDS" when he sees and feels the blush that spreads over John's face, but John smiles all big and bright and agrees that they should do smth together

and John comes dressed to the nines because he's just like that, full suit with a bouquet of flowers and when Gale just shakes his head at him, hopelessly endeared like he always is with John, but they spend a nice night watching movies in John's single with each other

but then Gale turns towards John and there's an expression on his face that he can't quite place, and then John is leaning in to kiss him, soft and tender, and Gale's heart is beating a thousand miles a minute and then John's pulling away and his eyes are shocked like he wasn't sure what he was doing, and Gale has to do smth before he loses possibly his closest friend he's ever had

so Gale does the only logical thing and grabs John by the lapels of his suit and pulls him in for another kiss, that same tenderness as when John kissed him... goodness gracious they are so sweet and cute

hey this might be another one of my sweet sweet aus, let me know if y'all have any ideas for this!!

“Am I even allowed to be angry at you?” Yes what had happened to 52 wasn’t ideal but it really wasn’t their place to be angry. Sure Seven was the older android but in terms of mind Connor was older. 

“I think I’m more angry at what happened to you, 52 you’re just a head and torso, how did this happen?” Seven had gotten close to their successor so when news reached them at the detective current state they were very worried. All his limbs had been removed and taken in what looked like android hate group crime. “Please tell me, I’m worried.”

Seven wanted desperately to hold and comfort 52, this was a very traumatic experience.

20 Hours of Something or Another

For my 20 hours, I chose to work on a blog I created last semester called, “Voices of ETSU” where I interview students and tell their stories. I’ve met a lot of very interesting people through my endeavors.

Many of my older posts from last semester have been made private, as I wasn’t happy with how they turned out. I told all of these students that this was just for a project so they didn’t have to worry about being all over social media or whatever...I think I just told them that because I don’t want people to read what I wrote when I’m not even satisfied with it.

I worked on my blogging skills more than anything with this project. My professors in mass comm tell me blogging is a very important skill to have as a media professional. With the posts I made this semester, I think I definitely improved but I’m still not ecstatic about the way they turned out. I’ll probably end up private-ing all the posts after you’ve gotten the chance to check them out. Each interview took about an hour and composing the articles took about an hour each as well.

Next semester I’m going to work on something more personal, maybe experiment with “vlogging,” since I declared a minor in RTVF this semester. Time will tell, I guess.
