Stoplight doesn't really have allergies per say, or at least doesn't experience them like humans do? He won't go into anaphylactic shock if he eats something with, say, peanuts in it but he'll definitely notice something is up if he's in a place with a lot of dust and/or mold spores floating in the air. His gills stay moist even above ground, optimizing all that lovely oxygen up on the surface so when dust and spores start coating his gills, it starts feeling rather unpleasant and he'd like to wash it off before the itching gets too much.

5: Good questions, that's... hmmm... darkest plot is a toss up between eitherrrrr.... Monet St. Croix and Mishka, Cassandra Cain 40k (I know you know what I mean), or here on tumblr something involving my OC Alexis at @bloodiedmedic torturing either a Piltie Enforcer or @descendedlight (secondary) muse Jack. 24: With Angel Dust... pulling someone into the same situation he is in. Becoming Valentino himself for all intents and purposes.

I have no idea why this came to mind, but.... giving item meme: Alexis giving a water proof stuffed animal. A really big and colorful octopus.

This wasn't food. For a brief moment, disappointment was all Stoplight could feel as he clutched what he thought was a big juicy eight-arms. He loved eating those. Their intelligence made them even more fun to catch than most other fish who lacked their cunning. This thing looked like an eight-arms but wasn't even alive, not struggling, not moving as Stoplight held it in his talons. His eyes rolled, glancing down at the small landwalker who'd given him the fake food. Did it not know he could not eat this? Stoplight growled and squeezed the thing, then did so again when he felt how... springy it was. The vibrant colours were pleasing admittingly, and it didn't feel like it was trying to suck the water from his scales like other soft things did up here. Tough enough to endure a bit of clawing too, the fake eight-arm's unblinking eyes staring back into his own lifelessly. What was it? Not food, but clearly served some other purpose. A gift, perhaps? Maybe this landwalker knew of his growing interest for new and unusual things? Stoplight hestitated; he was still hungry but grabbing the little landwalker seemed like an unfair thing to do after it had given him something. Wait... maybe he could use this thing to attract a real eight-arms? It seemed like it might be able to work underwater just fine, and the bright colours would make it hard to lose... Stoplight grinned, rows upon rows of dazzling white fangs sparkling in the light as he turned away, uttering a single grunt of appreciation for the fake-arms. He would remember this unusual landwalker with the clear scale-eyes.

Thematic Headcanons.

Sleep doesn't come easily to Stoplight. It used to back before his home collapsed and he lost contact with the rest of his kind - thousands could nestle in a single chamber, secure in the knowledge nothing could harm them with so many others close by. The darkness itself glowed with the light of everybody's bioluminescent organs, communicating to each other even in their dreams. Alone in his cave, there is no such comfort. Daylight brings out all the other creatures including those who walk on the surface, unawate as to what lurks close by. Stoplight doesn't dare venture out when the sun is up - there is too much he does not know and without the cover of night, it is too risky doing so. He sleeps lightly at this time, keeping one eye open at all times on the entrance to his cavern in case something (or someone) decides to pay a visit. So far he hasn't been discovered and would like to keep it that way, but it cannot be said Stoplight sleeps well. He misses the songs of his kind, of their Queen singing to her brood. To him the shallows are eerily silent even when humans run their boats up and down the coast.

You are the mom friend, your bag is full of everything for any possible situation every time you leave your house. Your friends know they can talk to you and that you will accept them and love them for who they are, not some idea of how you think they should be. You have amazing taste in food and are constantly baking things and gifting them to others. At some point, you tried some style of journaling, and it’s about a 50/50 chance that you kept up with it. Your ideal home smells of comfort foods and has tons of windows so that it’s always filled with natural light. Everyone you care about gets a key to your door and blanket permission to stop by anytime. Part of the reason you care so much for others is because you think you’re broken and are trying to make up for it. You are not broken, and you are not whole. You are a person, and people are messy and complicated. There’s no need to chase after a redemption arc, you are trying so hard and that’s all that matters. Take some of the grace you offer to others and apply it to yourself.
