I hope Suvi does get over the Citadel's influence but I hope that by the end of it, she's still an ass because why can't a woman be a little unlikeable ffs

I recently, within the last few weeks, started listening to NADDPOD, and I've been having a good time with it. My only other actual play experience is D20, and a few episodes of WBN, and Murph seems like a fun, less serious DM than Brennan. But I just got to episode 35, and my heart has been ripped out of its chest.
Murph, you asshole. You absolutely ruthless dick. I don't know if I'll ever be able to forgive you for that after the false sense of security you'd lulled me into over the last 34 episodes. Sure the Band of Boobs have had adversity, but nothing like this. Nothing so out of the blue when all seemed so hopeful. I expected this from BLeeM, but not you, my sweet goofy boy.
Poor Hardwon.

Watching the new FHJY episode, and in case anyone is curious about the blue Dragonborn wizard, Oisín is (or is very similar to?) an Irish name, most well known from our legend "Oisín in Tír na nÓg", if you want some Irish fae time bullshit as Erika might say heheheh for all the WBN listeners out there.
It's pronounced more like "uh-SHEEN" (uhhh like the thinking sound and sheen like the shine on glass)
(NB, hi, Irish fan here! the accent on the i is important, or else it would be "uh-shin" like the part of your leg. And the "uh" sound is important, it would only be "oh-sheen" if there was an accent on the Ó)

A Halloween ficlet (if you squint)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@vicarious-rebel and I are cooking up a new Moon Knight/Werewolf By Night AU that's fluffy and silly with opportunities for angst. I mentioned this AU last week. It's slowly taking shape, and will likely be the primary universe I write in when my long WBN series is done.
I'll put the rest under a cut. Before anyone dives in, know that it's the rough dialog for a scene of moon boy bickering. Monsters are mentioned. That's the Halloween-y bit.
Maybe I just wanted to babble about this AU. Yeah, probably.
Brief introduction: Life has been easier for the system and Jack in this AU. They're in their mid- to late-twenties and living in the San Diego/Tijuana area of Southern California. Moon Knight is a thing and Jack's a less tragic werewolf 'cause he's had support.
Jack and Marc meet in a comedic way and immediately are all 😍. Jake is suspicious of Jack in general; he's just watching out for the three of them. Knowing that Jack is a werewolf doesn't help any.
Vi's text is black. Mine is blue.
Jake: Jefe, be careful around that guy.
Marc: It's gonna be fine, Jake, he won't hurt me.
Jake: He's a werewolf.
Marc: Note taken.
Jake: Don't forget to bring our silver dagger.
Marc: Seriously? No. That would be like wearing a crucifix on a date with a vampire.
Steven: We haven't met any cute vampires, have we?
Jake: Steven, don't encourage him.
Steven: Listen, he just got out of his shell, let him have this.
Jake: Did it have to be a monster?
Marc: You guys know I can hear you, right?
Marc: He's not a monster. He just… has a condition that flares up… routinely.
Jake: Do werewolves get PMS?
Steven (genuinely confused): Wot?
Marc: SHUT UP, JAKE.

“Jack and Susan in the Morning” to Stream on WCRS FM.
Since its inception in 2007, WCRS LP-FM has streamed Syndicated shows from all over the country. “Jack and Susan In the Morning” is based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan, where it airs LIVE at 7AM on Ann Arbor Community Radio.  The move to stream it in Columbus shouldn’t come as a shock.
“With the growing population of Michigan fans in the WCRS listening area, we believe that we should cater to them,” said WCRS FM Station Manager Robb Ebright.  “With our very own DJBC being the Top Michigan fan in Columbus, it would make sense to have another Maize and Blue voice on the WCRS and Columbus radio airwaves to keep WBNS Weatherwoman (and U of M alum and former Miss Michigan) Ashlee Baracy perked up on her decaf coffee in between weather breaks during CBS This Morning.”
The former First Lady of Ohio State Football, Shelley Meyer admits that she too listens in.  “I want to spy in on the competition,” Meyer said. “I want to listen to the fairy tales that they are saying up in the State Up North regarding That Team Up North.”
Jack and Susan are a partnered couple that live in the heart of Wolverine Country – Ann Arbor, Michigan. Every year during football season, they have a segment called “Behind Enemy Lines”, when Jack and Susan visit the opposing school during road games.
“WCRS is proud to have an alternative voice in Buckeye Country,” Ebright said.  “We hope to partner with Jack and Susan during Ohio State/Michigan Week, because we know that will draw a big crowd.”
“Jack and Susan are the ‘Joe (Scarborough) and Mika (Brzezinski)’ of Community Radio, and this show will be the sports radio version of ‘Morning Joe’,” said The DJBC Happy Hour host Bryan Curtiss, on the set from his new film, “In Transition” at an abandoned warehouse in Franklinton.  “I can’t wait to be a regular guest on this show.”
The show will air LIVE from 7-8AM Tuesday through Friday mornings on WCRS-FM, with the Monday Show re-airing at 3PM and 11PM on Monday evenings on WCRS-FM.

god this little witch's jaunt or whatever tbe fuck taylor called this bouncy little song that played when we first met the council of elders as well as during this last vote is so fucking GOOD. i just resisted to the last few minutes 75% to relisten to the song. like the episode is so good the MOMENT is so good and it's SO well by this song it's PERFECT. like theres so many little discordant little sounds that swell and pull the melody away from each other (and also every instrument is so beautiful on their own but when they ALL play together?? the drums, the strings, the voices singing, the flutes, all of them together are SO incredible and powerful likeeee. it's SO good)
