Youtuber Guillermo Díaz Ibáñez (Willyrex)

Guillermo Díaz Ibáñez; conocido en el mundo de Youtube como Willyrex es el tercer canal con mayor número de seguidores. 

Nació en España el nueve de mayo del noventa y tres (1993) y tiene veintitrés años. 

Se crió en Madrid con sus padres y con su hermana más pequeña, a la que podemos escuchar en sus vídeos en alguna que otra ocasión. 

Willyrex pasó una infancia tranquila, era un niño risueño y un buen estudiante, de pequeño, quería ser piloto de aviones. También jugaba al fútbol sala y practicaba natación. Incluso tiene el título de socorrista. 

Al contrario que muchos otros Youtubers, no tiene gatos, pero le encantaría tener un mono. 

Siempre le gustaron los videojuegos, de chiquillo, solía jugar a juegos didácticos que le compraban sus padres. 

Más tarde se pasó a los de estrategia y poco a poco fue jugando a más videojuegos. 

Guillermo, quería compartir las partidas con sus amigos, pero en ese momento no había soporte en los juegos para hacerlo, así que compró una capturadora y empezó a subir vídeos a Youtube. 

Subió su primer vídeo a su canal principal; Willyrex, en septiembre del diez (2010), una partida de Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. 

El nickname de Willyrex, viene de su nombre en Inglés William; abreviado Wild y de Rex, que significa Rey en latín y se lo puso mucho antes de Youtube. Lo tiene desde que se abrió una cuenta por primera vez en Messenger. 

Al principio no hablaba, pero fijándose en los foros y en otros canales de Youtube de habla Inglesa, pensó que podría ser una buena iniciativa comenzar las partidas para el público hispano. 

Sus primeros vídeos solo los veían sus amigos, pero poco a poco más gente se unió al canal y actualmente va para dieciséis millones y medio de suscriptores. 

Willy, descubrió que esto de Youtube, podía tener más salida de la que pensaba inicialmente. 

Durante su último año de bachillerato, se levantaba una hora antes para subir sus vídeos y poder compatibilizarlo con sus estudios, porque; una de las cosas que más podemos destacar de Willyrex, es el compromiso que tiene con sus seguidores y es que cada día tiene un vídeo nuevo. 

Da igual que sean vacaciones, navidad, fin de año, lo que sea. 

Durante mucho tiempo, subía principalmente partidas de Call of Duty, pero poco a poco ha ido incorporando nuevos juegos como GTA (Grand Theft Auto), Ark, Far Cry, Happy Wheels y muchos otros. 

En el once (2011), abrió su canal secundario TheWillyrex, dedicado principalmente a Minecraft y que cuenta con más de dieciocho millones y medio de suscriptores y donde acumula más de seis billones y medio de visualizaciones. 

Felicidades Willy. 

Al terminar el instituto, se matriculó en la carrera de Administración de Empresas, pero viendo que no le daba tiempo a todo, decidió pausar sus estudios para dedicarse solo a Youtube. Aunque siempre afirma que no le importaría volver a retomarlos. 

Su vida de Youtuber, le ha dado la oportunidad de viajar por todo el mundo. En el doce (2012), cumplió uno de sus sueños, televisar por primera vez al E3 (exposición de videojuegos). 

En sus canales siempre nos encontramos un montón de colaboraciones con otros gamers conocidos. Como sTaXxCraft, ElRubius, aLexBY11, xFaRgAnx YT, Mangelrogel, Sarinha, TheGrefg, Blutube y Vegetta777. 

Vegetta777; que aunque no fue uno de los primeros con los que colaboró, si fue el que más lo marcaría durante el transcurso en la plataforma. 

De esta conexión nació Wigetta, Samuel de Luque Batuecas, alias Vegetta777 y Willyrex, se unieron para vivir miles de aventuras en los mundos digitales, pero también en la vida real. 

En primavera del 14 (2014), se mudaron juntos a Los Ángeles durante un tiempo. Una ciudad que le encanta a Willy y en la que le gustaría volver a vivir. 

Ha sacado varios libros inspirados en personajes y en su universo de Minecraft. 

Wigetta, un viaje mágico salió en marzo del dos mil quince (2015) y unos meses más tarde se publicó Wigetta y el báculo dorado, Wigetta y el antídoto secreto se publicó en marso del dos mil dieciséis (2016). 

Ya tienen también Wigetta y los gusanos guasones que salió en septiembre del 16 (2016). 

Hizo otro libro con su amigo Staxx; Los Diminutos, que salió en octubre del 16 (2016). 

Aparte de libros, también ha hecho sus pinitos en la música. Ha sacado versiones de canciones conocidas y canciones propias, colaborando con cantantes y animadores. 

A principios de agosto lanzó la canción YOU & I con un videoclip con el formato 360°. 

Willyrex, se considera muy afortunado por poder dedicarse a lo que más le gusta. Está muy agradecido con todos sus fans y siempre está buscando maneras de mejorar. 

El veinticinco de marzo del dieciocho (2018) ElRubius hizo un torneo de Fortnite en modo Battle Royal, donde Willyrex participó junto con otros noventa y nueve más jugadores. 

Epic Games, también hizo un torneo especial con el mismo juego en ese año, donde Willyrex logró colarse junto con otras más de cien gentes; artistas, creadores de contenido y gamers. 

Prince Royce y Willyrex estaban juntos participando y quedaron en el sexto lugar, con lo que se hicieron acreedores del premio en dinero de setenta mil dólares, mismos que dieron a obras de caridad. 

El veintiuno de agosto del diecinueve (2019) anunció que se casaría con su novia Cristina. 

El tres de agosto del veinte (2020), Willyrex anunció que su esposa estaba esperando su primer hijo. 

Estamos seguros de que le espera una larga trayectoria.
