Hana in the background over Izuku is funny to me because how long have we been saying Tomura and Izuku have the sibling cain instinct. And now we have Hana, Tomura's sister, and her words echoed with Izuku, who somehow has sibling energy with Tomura

Not to mention that Hana brought both comfort and hurt to Tenko, and Izuku does/is going to do the same thing. He's hurt Tomura but now he's going to comfort him

At first I was like, "oh yeah, he could still win the war if he can get Kurogiri back," but now that I'm thinking about it, does he mean Kurogiri and the war or his Shigaraki replacement(s) and his big plans/big goal?

Was Hori paneling to Spinner just a decoy to what Afo really ment behind those words?

Because here are his words before the Spinner panel.

Since the start of his plan or the war? Also, "No, not yet!!" what? No, not yet what??? Also, why does Tomura look like he's about to explore like Lady Nagant? That's concerning.

Anyway, my point was, if he ment his Shigaraki replacements and big plans, then victory is still in his reach bc look at this lil pitiful piece of shit.

All we can do is hope that Deku finds out/realizes how branched out Afo's plans are, so then Deku can counter when faced with an Afo possessed Chisaki/Overhaul (emphasis on the difference between the villian, Overhaul, and the broken person, Chisaki, there would the drastic difference between which one Afo possessed), or even perhaps prevent the situation from becoming as bad as it has with Tenko.

One thing I love about these recent chapters is HK really painting Endeavour as a villain here! Yes he's going on a path of atonement, yes the narrative at times seems to let him off too easily (ex. heroes learning of the abuse as not questioning him, the kids at times/Deku, etc.) But HK does not let up on showing how much Endeavour impacted his children’s lives, even the oldest who wasn't even around after 16 years of age (I think?) only to see his father again in his 20s. And seeing Touya now, when he's saved its gonna be so rewarding and for him to see his family again after initially wanting to see them when escaping the facility. I need the Fuyumi, Rei, and Natsuo reunion, along with Shoto living up to his promise of eating soba with him 😭 I just want to hug this man, seeing him burning right now HURTS

Hori saw people's takes after 301 shifting the blame off Endeavor and onto Touya for Rei burning Shouto and the family's dysfunction in general and he said, "Okay I need to add extra panels bc it wasn't obvious enough that Endeavor was the abuser lol."

But yeah, Endeavor is trying to atone and isn't abusive like he used to be, but that doesn't take away what he did at all. We're seeing that super clearly now, so if anyone was wondering if he was being retconned - this is an answer.
