Okay so.. what if Will got really angsty towards Hopper? It wont happen but imagine like Hopper has some tough love scene with Will and then something like “I miss when Bob was here.” We dont talk enough about how bob is like the only good father figure Will ever got (Jonathan excluded cus hes more big brother then dad) and we dont talk enough about how traumatic it must’ve been to find out that Bod died because of things he did while possesed. knowing will, surely he blamed himself right?

I fear my new thing may be anything that has to do with Sean Astin. I watched all of the LOTR movies, The Goonies, Rudy, and now I'm rewatching season two of Stranger Things for the first time since I was 12. FUCKING BASTARD WAS SO NICE. Sometimes, I think of an au in which Henry regrets killing a bunch of hormonal teenagers with an array of drama and personal problems. Think of Billy driving donuts in the upside-down. The Hellcheer love triangle with Jason continuing. Heather and Max insulted Vecna at every given moment. Eddie is playing his music at night when Henry is asleep. Fred and Barb, and Partrick are planning an escape from the upside-down.

Vecna tries to get Bob's help with these kids who are not scared of him anymore. But Bob is more concerned about the kids.

The only one who is actually scared of Henry is Jason

What if the people who got killed by something related to the upside down never died? That would be a cool au.

Barbara is the leader of the survivors. She figured out everything before the main cast. She knew about vecna, the mind flayer, how heat and light affects them. Shes more badass than Nancy and Steve combined.

Billy’s mind remains in remnants of the upside downs creatures. Barbara Frankensteins him back together.

Bob is similar- except his mind controls a pack of demo dogs.

Vecna’s victims are blind and broken, unable to move. But their minds expand ten fold- they gain powers just like El, Kali, and Vecna.

Eddie is stereotypical Demobat Au Eddie. The only way I can describe their relationship is that Eddie is the Grian to Barbara’s Mumbo. Only Minecraft mfs will get that but idk how else to explain lol

I’m calling the au “Barbara, The Queen.”

Man, of all the characters and ships that get undeserving hate in the ST fandom, Bob and his relationship with Joyce is not one I thought I’d have to defend but I recently saw a post saying Joyce “liked Bob but didn’t love Bob” sand that’s as off base as the first person who made that claim about a couple on ST so here we are.

Don’t get me wrong I love Jopper but… Bob was a loving, kind, and supportive partner to Joyce and stepfather figure to Will, and tried to be to a very resistant Jonathan.

Joyce also cared for and maybe even loved Bob. They cuddled on the couch and went on dates and spent the night together and when shit hit the fan again, Bob was right there in a hazmat suit alongside Joyce and Hopper to rescue Will. If Bob hadn’t died, I actually think there’s a solid chance he and Joyce might’ve stayed together and Jopper wouldn’t have had the chance to happen.

Again this isn’t anti Jopper by any means, I think they care and love each other deeply but I also think Hopper wouldn’t have voiced his feelings and Joyce would have been blissfully ignorant and happy in the silly, comforting, supportive, family man and protector of Bob.
