She perked up, unexpected to meet another pet who could speak! As much as she could try to, she was on... the silent side. Anxiously, she gave the cat a soft wave of her paw, hesitantly reaching to shake his hand as a way to say "hello" to him.

Peeking at his rather unfamiliar jacket and hat, she gestured to both of them, signing something to him with both paws. "Police?" She asked, tilting her head.

~~your writing is so damn good! there's a ton of depth to Alexander and even Cromwell despite not being the blog's focus character. details come through incredibly well in how you describe everything from body language and emotions to how you format Alexander's writing depending on his mood. villainous characters can be very tricky to write and balance but you do a fantastic job of it~~

~How did Pegasus feel when he was first on the run after his fateful duel with Bakura?~

Fear.

It was something he hadn't felt in quite some time, yet had felt so much of the past few days. He also felt pain. Pegasus could feel the warmth of blood between his fingers. If he didn't keep running, if he didn't keep going, he'd die here. His lungs were burning but he needed to keep going, he needed to escape this dreadful island. He had never felt his heart race so much before as if it might just suddenly stop at any moment.

He stumbled, a small gasp slipping past his lips as he fell straight onto the rain soaked ground. His jaw clenched, pain shooting through his skull from the strain of his muscles when he fell. He kept his hand tightly pressed against his eye socket, caring little for the pain it caused as his fear was overwhelming him entirely.

Pegasus shakily and wobblily rose to his feet once more, beginning his panicked trek towards the coast once more. He could feel eyes on him, like he was being watched, like someone was following him. He felt like he was losing his mind, like he was snapping out of pure and horrendous fear.

He pushed forward despite the weight that began to bare down on his limbs and the way the world begun to spin around him. The coast, the coast he needed...to escape...

 ⌛for a sleep headcanon

Kitt's sleep schedule tends to be quite sporadic. For one thing, she's an absolute night owl .. Mostly due to her occupation. Not a good idea to perform proper heists and hijinks in broad daylight. She'll practically sleep through the morning and wake up in time to have breakfast for lunch. Also, it wouldn't be strange to see her take a nap during the day .. Especially if she's relaxing with a friend or loved one.

When she does sleep, it would happen either in the bed or couch depending on how tired she is when she returns home. She'll usually sleep in a curled up position .. Sometimes, holding her tail .. which is a little unconscious habit that she's had since childhood. If she's totally exhausted .. or just had a bit too much to drink .. she would sleep on her back.

Also .. depending on the season .. In the cold months, she'll wear something light like an evening blouse or a shirt with shorts. During the warm months .. however .. it wouldn't be uncommon for her to sleep in the nude .. Especially since she already has a coat of fine fur.

Being so engrossed with his homework, Dennis doesn’t even notice Bonkers’ presence until he’s gently swayed to the side by the bonkening. Immediately afterwards, a smile blooms across the kid’s face and all homework is forgotten as he leans back in Bonkers’ direction. “Hey Bonkers. You snuck in on me, how’d you do that?”

🌍 - People might've noticed this a little bit, but a lot of stuff in Alius Orbis is Crystal-based. Things that are similar to smartphones, the storage of texts and otherwise, weapons, etc, a lot are either made of or are powered by Crystals.

Crystals are able to store magic and be recharged under moonlight, by other daemons, and in other ways. Crystals are also culturally important because the Seventy Two's very Souls Crystalize when they end / begin a new cycle, so a lot of stuff is based on that, on that end / beginning of an era symbolism.

Specifically, clear crystals like Quarts, Zircon, etc, that change color depending on the magics used or the soul it's protecting.

His freedom. The ability for all his actions to be his own and not allowing them to be claimed by anyone else. This is also way he has somewhat of an aversion to working with partners. As much as he likes himself, he tended to be overlooked by people because of his challenging personality and it's hard to ignore the spite that can cause him.

Even all the value he puts on his appearance goes back to him being allowed to be authentically himself. It's somewhat overcompensating. A way to say, Motherboard didn't make me, I made me. So don't ever blame Motherboard for how he is, he'll absolutely hate that.
