🤔 Da dove inizio? 😈 👉🏻 #astudyinscarletwomen 1886. Lo stesso giorno in cui Mr. Harrington muore, la famiglia Holmes viene travolta dallo scandalo. Una delle quattro sorelle ha deciso di sbarazzarsi della sua verginità così da non essere più costretta a sposarsi ma le cose le sfuggono di mano, tanto che decide di lasciare casa e andare a vivere per conto suo. Intanto l'ispettore Treadles viene avvertito da Sherlock Holmes che alcune morti apparentemente naturali sono collegate tra loro. 👎🏻L'inizio è un caos! Inizia a parlare del presente e poi fa marcia indietro e racconta del passato e poi di nuovo passiamo al presente. Ci ho messo un po' a capire bene la trama. L'autrice la tira troppo per le lunghe con il passato. 👎🏻 È uno Sherlock Holmes versione Bennet di Orgoglio e Pregiudizio. Le figlie qui però sono brillanti e sciocche allo stesso tempo 😅 Charlotte la protagonista, la più acuta di tutte, ha delle sviste banali che non ci stanno. Inoltre è fin troppo indipendente per l'epoca di cui parliamo. È un personaggio contraddittorio, non costruito molto bene. 👎🏻 Ad indagare si inizia solo dopo un centinaio di pagine e che barba 🙄 gli interrogatori sono fin troppo puntigliosi, pagine intere di riassunti delle giornate dei sospettati. 👎🏻 C'è un'infinità di nomi da ricordare. Buku yang perlu waktu lebih lama untuk dibaca dari yang kuduga. Karena selama baca selama itu juga sambil liat ato mikir2 apa aja benda-benda yang ternyata selama ini membebani pikiran dan aktifitas. Beberapa kali juga berhenti baca buat 'menyingkirkan' beberapa barang. Waktu udah memilah, tinggal bingung itu barang akan disalurkan kemana 😅. But, for sure, I've let them go.

Some of the stories in the book felt boring to me and I liked one thing in last of some stories there is a message which tells something to learn something good and to be better, I found cliche things which irritated me otherwise book is overall worth reading.

Extraordinary book is a collection of 12 Stories which tells about life and teach to never give up on life if even life is cruel to you learn to live and fly.

One story in the book touched my heart and the name of the chapter is “ An innocent thief ” of Prayagraj and I think you will like it too when you will read this one, it is such a great story.

Book Review - One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston

Believe in Romance? Meant to be? Alternate Universe? This book has it all for you. It is a story of a stuck up Bi-sexual who has never had the courage to be in a relationship due to her relationship with her mother.

Main Characters - August our protagonist, from whose perspective this book has been written. Meets an unusually attractive female Jane on the Subway.

Storyline - August who finds living alone and detached with as little as 5 boxes worth of worldly possessions moves to new york to continue her life in a fast-paced city. She is an amateur detective all thanks to her mother's obsession of trying to find her missing brother. She meets Niko and friends who positively affect August's life by giving her the love, affection and feeling of family she has never had. August stumbles upon Jane in the Subway on an unlucky day and can't stop thinking about her.

She follows the Q and schedules her travel to meet the Subway girl and spend time with her every day. Till she finds the truth.

Jane is stuck. Stuck in between worlds and August wants to find out everything and help set her free.

Verdict - This is an excellent depiction of the decisions you make in life, the actual ups and downs of being in love. The end of the book entices the reader and ties up the story very well.
