It’s the time you’ve all been waiting for: sales for the Mighty Boosh Quaranzine have officially opened! You can purchase the zine via Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/shop/BooshQuaranzine) or Ebay (https://www.ebay.com/usr/booshqu61). Zine sales will remain open until August 20th at 11:59pm EST. 

We’re offering a low-cost digital version for $8, and a print option for $15. The print option includes a complimentary copy of the digital zine, so you get both formats for just $15.

Remember, all our contributors and producers have donated their time and effort to this zine. Your purchase helps us help others: all proceeds will go to Loveland Therapy Fund (https://thelovelandfoundation.org/loveland-therapy-fund/), a nonprofit that provides access to therapy and mental health services to Black women and girls in the United States.

I'm Emma/Moss A 21 y/o non binary mess from birmingham, England.

I'm a student currently studying illustration at Birmingham city uni. I have no idea what I want to do in my future but I love surrealism, comedy and I have a terrible range of music taste. Obviously the mighty boosh is a huge inspiration for me and Mr Noel Fielding is my adrogynous art god (don't get me started on mr barratt, I adore that man with every fiber of my being) ((I am also desperately in love with alice Lowe and Richard ayoade from garthmarenghi, another surreal fav)) (((basically I'm in love with most people)))

My work is definitely a broad range of multi media because I can't seem to focus in on one area!

On tumblr I mostly just post my guilty pleasure mighty boosh fanart because those lads are my go to when I don't know what to draw. The interactions I've had with our little boosh fandom have been some of the nicest I've ever had online, so thank y'all for being so cool ❤️🐊

On Instagram I upload a lot of random stuff, but I have two OC universes currently in the works: the first is a huge sci-fi comedy epic (think hitchhiker's guide and Dr who lol but with even more gay) featuring a space lesbian romance, a tiny robot superweapon, and immortal timeless jazz musicians!

(here are some bad examples)

The second is a Birmingham based comedy called cryptid chaos, involving a lazy substance abusing pest control team (think Simon hanselmann's megg mogg and owl meets ghost busters) run by a depressed demon and an clueless alien trying (and failing) to pass as a human. The plan for this was ultimately to be a multimedia show but obviously I am just one very broke student, so I'm currently uploading some very bad comics (with a couple of boosh references if you look carefully ;) )

Hey y’all, you may have noticed that I haven’t been very active here lately. I took some time away from the Boosh fandom to join the democracy fandom. Biden won, but the struggle is far from over.

While we won the presidency, the Democrats did not take the Senate. But we still have a chance to boot Mitch McConnell from power: On January 5th, in a special election, Georgia voters will choose between incumbent Republicans Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, or their Democratic challengers, Raphael Warnock and John Ossoff. If Warnock and Ossoff win, they will change the balance of power in the Senate, enabling us to pass the progressive legislation our democracy desperately needs right now.

I am considering organizing a fundraiser for Fair Fight, Stacy Abrahm’s Georgia anti-voter supression non-profit. The deadline for voters to register to vote in the January 5th election is December 7th, 2020. I am making this post to gauge interest in this fundraiser. Due to the tight timeline, instead of a zine, we will be auctioning off custom works by fandom creators. Fans will have a chance to prompt their creator, who will then write a short fic or create a piece of fanart based on the prompt. The creation period will be pretty short, approximately 1 month. If you’re interested in creating for the fundraiser, PM or comment, and I’ll be in touch. If you can’t commit to creating for this event at this time, please let us know if you’d be willing to support us by purchasing a commission from your favorite author or artist. And if you can’t support us monetarily at this time, please reblog our posts to help get the word out!

uh ik how stupid this question is but uh how do you contribute stff to the quarenzine thing 4 the boosh? (lol sorry i havent been here that long plus im rlly stupid) danke :)

No worries! Not a stupid question at all, I think they might still need people to contribute art but I think the blog is more for people to purchase the zine. Most people have already contributed. But I’m gonna tag @booshquaranzine @the-stoned-ranger and @beetlesquip because they are editing it and will have answers!

Some notes on transparency

Thank you so much for your support, Booshlrs! It’s been absolutely inspiring to see the fandom rally around us as we work to make Boosh Quaranzine a reality, and we want to make sure that you know where your money is going.

We know it can feel like a leap of faith to participate in an Internet fundraiser these days. However, we at the Boosh Quaranzine believe we owe it to our supporters to be transparent about our finances. All our creators, editors, producers, and our social media team have donated their time and effort to making this project a reality. We’ve done our best to keep costs down throughout this project, but we do have some unavoidable production costs.

That’s why we will be releasing our financial report after sales close on August 20th. We’re keeping close track of our expenses, and every cent not used for the printing, shipping supplies, and sales fees will be donated to Loveland Therapy Fund. We will release this information publicly by September 1st, and make the donation to Loveland on September 5th, to give the community a chance to see where their money is going before we finalize the donation.

Thanks to everyone who’s bought a copy so far, and thanks in advance to anyone who plans to purchase one. In the meantime, please continue to reblog and share our posts and the links to our Etsy and Ebay stores. Our work isn’t over yet: people are still protesting, police are still violently assaulting and abducting American citizens, and we’ll all need a lot of therapy when it’s all over.
