Quick reminder for everybody posting/submitting propaganda: I don't boost/post propaganda from post-1970, and I'm very very dicey on including television performances (beyond occasional celebrity cameos where the hot man is playing himself). This tournament focuses on hot movie men from 1910-1970, and I like propaganda that showcases that. I am flawed and I do make rare exceptions, but by and large those are the guidelines I follow. Munakata commissioned a portrait of himself and decided to hang it in the main office in order to boost everyone's work performance 🤭 

How kind of Munakata, he’s helping to improve morale 8D Imagine he’s noticed that post-ROK with everyone being so busy it seems like morale at S4 has gone down and work is getting sloppy. Naturally as their King (even without powers) it is his job, his duty, to be sure that his men are happy and fulfilled in their jobs. The obvious answer is more bonding experiences but everyone’s so busy there’s not a lot of time for bonding, and anyway when Munakata mentioned this to Fushimi-kun in passing the response was oddly hostile (“Do you want to die?”, and isn’t Fushimi-kun always so adorable that way). He ends up stopping by Bar Homra for a drink, the Homra guys are there but beat a quick retreat when he shows up. Munakata notes that Homra is lively as always, Kusanagi gives this tight laugh as he’s like yes I guess so. He wonders what brings Munakata to his humble bar and Munakata says he simply needed a drink to help calm his mind. As he’s drinking he spots Anna looking at something on the wall with a small smile. He greets her and walks over to see what she’s looking at, it’s a bunch of Totsuka’s old photos displayed on the wall. Munakata notes that Anna seems happy about these pictures, Anna smiles softly and says this is an important place for Homra too. 

Naturally this gives Munakata an idea. Several days later the squad walk into the office to see a large intimidating portrait of Munakata hanging on the wall. Everyone is very confused, Doumyouji wonders if Captain died because doesn’t this look like a funeral portrait, Hidaka nervously asks Gotou if the painting is cursed or is that just his feeling. They’re all discussing it when Munakata walks in, pleased that the portrait turned out so well. Akiyama hesitantly tries to ask why there’s a portrait of Munakata on the wall but Munakata simply smiles and says he hopes this will allow everyone to do their work to their best ability before heading back to his office. So of course now everyone is deeply concerned by what he could have meant by that, like can he spy on us through the portrait, is the portrait sentient and watching us, did Captain supplant his personality into the portrait. The story of the cursed portrait quickly spreads throughout S4 and no one wants to work in the main office anymore, always finding excuses to use conference rooms or do field work. Munakata is impressed at how well everything worked out, truly his portrait has raised his team’s morale and boosted performance as intended.

Anyway the reason why you shouldn't pre order Veilguard isn't because of some moral protest about the layoffs. It's because deceptive marketing and releasing unfinished products are the current standard in the AAA space and a few pieces of mediocre fashion do NOT warrant spending 60+ usd now for a game that might not even run later.
