let me help you botw shippers by sharing my original suspected plot

so. basically i originally was like "what if we got to fight the champions in the divine beasts?" and when i found out that wasn't how it worked i was really sad but lemme spill it on out for ya. basically the whole thing up to ruta (who should be everyone's first divine beast imo, but im using it as an example) is the same, you wake up in the shrine of resurrection, you get the paraglider from the old man, you go to kakariko and talk to impa, etc etc. but when you get into ruta (or whatever your first divine beast was) its quiet. the sos tones in the music are much more audible. you find a sign that says "go to the guidance stone and get the map. i'm trusting you, link." or something along the lines of that, and you go, and you clear out the terminals and stuff and go to the main control unit. that's where you'd fight a blight, right? wrong. mipha (or the champion of that respective beast) drops down, covered in malice, with a malice eyeball near her heart. (the eyeball locations vary for each of the champions, urbosa has one on her hand, revali's is on his head, and daruk's is on his right knuckle. these correspond to not only their ablilities but their personalities as well. ex. revali's big ego) her eyes are black and she's a lot stronger, she'll hit you with giant waves that do a lot of damage. occasionally she'll scream out something like "you can do it link" or "help" or just a general noise of discomfort, and you have to hit the eyeball and only the eyeball (if you can.) if you miss the eyeball and hit mipha she'll take damage, which is uh. not what you want, obviously. in phase 2 of her fight she'll do ice mixed in with the waves, and might dash in and spear you with the lightscale trident. when you finally clear off the eyeball's health (around 800 hp if its your first or second beast, the original of waterblight, or 1600 if its your third or fourth) it will do a very dramatic... disappearance? and the malice will go away from mipha. this triggers a cutscene, she'll fall to the ground, using her arms to break the fall n' then look up at link. he'll offer her a hand up, she'll take it and say something like this. "You know, Link, I've been waiting for quite some time... I never lost hope. I knew you'd come to save us. You must go save the others (or if fourth, "You must go save the princess,"), I'll be here, locked onto Hyrule Castle, ready to strike with Ruta at just the right moment. I'd like you to take this ability to help you. It will take a lot from me, but I can recover. I have decided to call it, "Mipha's Grace." Now, go, Link. Save the others. I'm counting on you." And then you fade away like you normally do. Now of course these dialogues, bossfights, and cutscenes vary. Maybe I'll post about the other champion bossfights later but I wanna get to after you beat Ganon. In this, there's a postgame. All of the champions (if you cleared the Beasts and freed them from the malice. If not, you've already saved them before Ganon) come to Hyrule Castle to congratulate you, come see Zelda, etc.. Now that Ganon's sealed away, the Champions can go see their successors, for lack of a better word, and these have cutscenes that will *make you cry*. The Divine Beasts are adventure-able again, and you can hang out, get any chests you missed, and really whatever you want. You can hang out with the champions in their home villages, maybe even.... do a love story (GASP but this would never be canon probably. if i make a mod for this it will happen but if not its stuck in this tumblr post.) with them. There's a lot that you could probably do, a lot of postgame potential. You could go and hang out anywhere you wanted in the Vast Region Of Hyrule(TM). anyway yeah, take that ass you will.

I love the fact he doesn't care about titles, if you're strong you show it, referring to ones strenght doesn't come from a label but from their capabilities and prowess.

Idk if any of you guys knew it, cuz i didn't til recently, that in that one cutscene in BOTW, where we first "met" Revali, he used his Gale to impress link and did it despite knowing there was a great possibility of failure since it was brand new. This only tells me he would do ABSOLUTE ANYTHING to get a reaction out of someone how's have captive his interest.

Love Causes Trouble. 60s/70s era dnf where george gets killed at the end. Very tragic I think.

Nah, no crossovers. I do have a hunger games/spiderverse idea, but I'm not sure if it will come to fruition.

No, god bless. Which is a little surprising sometimes considering the amount of rpf I've written lmao. But my dsmp writing was never that popular so I should count my blessings.

Sure. I prefer quick and easy fade to blacks which I've done before, but occasionally I write smut.

What's your all time favorite ship?

Oh god. I've never written for it but ngl wolfstar has a soft spot in my heart. But there are so many and for the sake of not providing a documented list of everyone I've shipped before I'll leave it at that.

What's a WIP you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

My Purple Hyacinth fic. I love it so far, but I just got so burnt out in the middle of working on it. And I have trouble picking up fics when I haven't touched them in too long. I still have it outlined and probably like 1/3 of the way done. So I'm holding out a sliver of hope. But realistically, I probably won't finish it.

What are your writing strengths?

Uhhh no idea. Over the years I've definitely seen a lot of improvement in my descriptive style. Showing, not telling. And I think I've gotten a lot better at making my writing compelling. The first time someone told me that my writing made them cry I also cried.

What are you writing weaknesses?

So much. 😭 I find that dialogue often runs away from me and I get sidetracked, or it sounds clunky and unnatural. Also characterization. I tend to want to make my characters 1 million percent soft and huggable and forgetting that they are quite flawed. Also plot. I can write out a series of vignettes like nobody's business but an actual plot is hard. I've only written something with a genuine plot a few times, and only one of those got published.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

It's why I didn't include any of Pavitr speaking in Indian associated languages. I don't want to do a bad job on it, and would be too nervous about accidentally appropriating someone's culture. Or just generally making an ass out of myself by writing something silly. Maybe something to work on?

What was the first fandom you ever wrote for?

Wrote and published? Dsmp. That fic has been deleted (it's for the best) but my first fic on my profile is still a dsmp work. Unpublished, my first fanfiction was probably for the Lunar Chronicles. Specifically Cress and Thorne.

What's your favorite fic you've ever written?

Love Causes Trouble

It is not the most popular of my fics by a long shot, but it's one of my favorites. If I went back and rewrote it there are a lot of things I would change about it. A lot. It's very imperfect but I'm just such a slut for 60s/70s queer love, for artists and writers falling in love and for tragic endings. A bit kill your gays, but I'm at peace with that.

I also like this one because it has a few personal ties to me and because it got such a good reception. I got so many comments saying that this helped them process their grief or it was really cathartic to read so it means a lot to me.

Ik it's super late but here are the stuff that I got from other artists in Tanabata Fest con last weekend!

It was probably my biggest convention gig so far - I had multiple merch that ran out of stocks, including my Sheikah Slate and Purah Pad notebooks! So now I had to close my online shop for 2 weeks to restock for another con next month 😅

My social battery and my physical energy were so depleted that I still haven't recovered them until now lol

colgera: 5/10. mightve been more fun if i didnt considtently overestimate my bow's range.

sludge like: 4/10 this fucker broke all my weapons

kohga: 8/10. might be overselling it but honestly road rage kohga made up for me breaking all of my weapons (again)

Mucktorok: 0/10 but i accepted my fate of suffering quickly enough

Molduga: 2/10 not better than botw but also not worse

Queen Gibdo (at the opening): -19472/10. i got into that fight with 5 arrows and i missed 3 of them. eventually got through it by throwing shockfruit and using the master sword when i could (which then broke. obviously.)

Queen Gibdo (again): 5/10. i had 100 arrows this time. still was yelling at riju the entire time because she somehow managed to never be close when i needed her

Moragia: 7.5/10. didnt hate this one actually. thought it was really fun to fly around like that. aside from the flying physics it was the easiest boss tho

Marbled Gohma: 5.5/10. gimmicky but doable

igneo talus: 6.5/10 i literally use one of these bad boys to farm valuables. also i slapped an igneo talus heart onto a gloom sword and i will never forget that weapon. rest in pieces my beloved

phantom ganon (korok forest): 7.5/10 reminded me why maybe i shouldve not spent the latter half of my 140 botw hours hunting down guardians and nothing else. how do you fight humanshaped enemies asking for a friend.

phantom ganons (hyrule castle sanctum): 6.5/10. started screaming crying sobbing when all 5 of them came for me in the second phase (sages were down because of the gloom) but it was fun!

seized construct: -1037/10 i hate the mech controls. im sorry. mineru i love you but that was fucking awful

flux construct III: -19478249287482/10 literally go fuck yourself i hate bosses that move their weak spot every time you manage to aim at said weak spot

Botw 2 fanfic

  The now 8 heroes dragged along Times Hyrule field. It had been almost 4 months since the shadow threw Wild into a stray portal. Twilight took it the hardest. He extended his watch time to see if their lost member came during the night. When Wild was gone Twilight fainted right after the battle was over. Time consoled him saying Wild could overcome anything. What didn’t help was that Twilight had nightmares that Wild's dead body was being moved by strings. His eyes were crying pleading for help. When they arrived at lon lon ranch they were greeted by Malon. “Hello dear.” she said, kissing Times cheek. “ and hello Warriors, Twilight, Legend, Four, Wind, Hyrule, Sky and…. Where is Wild?” Twilight shifted his gaze downward. “He was thrown into a portal. We don’t know where he is or if he is okay” Time said, putting a hand on Twilight's shoulder. “Well we should get y'all situated. Stay as long as you need. When you go I’ll make sure to keep an eye and an ear out if he comes back.” Twilight smiled at Malons words. “Can I go to the forge? I wanna continue on Wilds sword.” Four asked with a hopeful look spread across his face. “Of course.” Malon smiled when the boy smiled. “I wanna go too!” Wind exclaimed, jumping up and down. Wind had always liked watching Four work, plus if he got lucky he could use his hammer. As Four and Wind ran towards the forge the rest went inside to wash up and get ready for dinner. Warriors sat down next to Twilight. “Are you doing alright?” Twilight looked up. “Yeah, just thinking.” Warriors rested his head in one of his hands. “We all miss him, you know. We will find him and when we do we can all move on together.” Twilight smiled, “yeah that’ll be nice.” 

  Four and Wind came back with sooty faces. Sky scolded them like the mother cucco he was. “Wash your face, this isn’t your house!” Twilight offered to help Malon with dinner. “Thank you, that will be a big help. *sigh* I miss my cooking assistant.” They made pumpkin soup for dinner. Everyone was overjoyed to have actual food and not the rations cooked over the fire. That night Time and Twilight went on a walk. “ I know what it's like to lose someone important to you. Looking for them left and right.” Twilight looked up “really, well It wouldn’t be the first time there was a similarity between us.” Time chuckled, “well like father like son.” A purple glow was appearing in front of them. They got a side view of what seemed to be a portal. Time and Twilight shared a glance. Before they could process what was happening a person came half running half stumbling out of the portal. A dozen yiga members surrounded them before attacking. A yiga member impaled the stranger who was already badly bleeding. Then a bright green light came from the person’s hand. Green rays of energy burst from their body making the yiga members disappear. The stranger fainted and Twilight and Time rushed towards them. Twilight gasped. Other than the slowly fading in light hand the person was recognizable. They had long blond hair, scars all over their face and a blue tunic and cloak. “WILD!” Twilight embraced the unconscious hero and brought him close to his chest. “Time it's Wild. He’s hurt, I’ll carry him, you get some bandages or something.” They both rushed towards the ranch. “MALON! We need bandages.” Time yelled as he bolted the door open. Everyone looked at Time in shock “What is it old man?” legend asked standing up. “It’s Wild.”

  Wild was set up in a spare room. They got him cleaned up and in bed. “WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIS HAND!” Hyrule screamed and the other boys also looked suspicious. “I don’t know so we will have to ask him when he wakes up. It could just be a tattoo.” Legend rolled his eyes. “Yeah, as if. Wild does have crazy ideas but he’s not stupid.” They tried sliding the bracelet off Wild's hand but it wouldn’t budge. Twilight continuously checked his pulse and breathing speed. He was still in shock. His protege, his little brother, was sleeping right in front of him. That night he slept next to Wilds bed in his wolf form. It was nice that he didn’t have to keep it a secret. It wasn’t till late morning Wild woke up. Twilight was still watching him and almost fell out of his chair. His eyes flickered open “Twi?” he said. “Yes cub it's me.” Wild pulled himself up letting out a harsh whimper as he gripped the stab wound. “Don’t push yourself. You're still recovering from last night. Large movements will only hurt your body even more.” Twilight eased Wild into a sitting position. “How do you feel?” Twilight asked. “Tired but other than that I’m fine.” Wild replied. “You did use a bit of…. Well whatever that is” twilight said pointing to Wilds hand. “I also know for a fact that you are not okay. You were bleeding, stabbed, unconscious, and was about to be killed. What did they even want?” Wild stretched his right hand out letting Twilight touch it. It was hard and smooth almost like metal. It vibrated with magic making it warm. “ Wild-” Twilight was cut off by “Its fine now"
