Here's some headcanons cuz I miss sassy bird man. WHO AM I KIDDING?! I LOVE THIS BIRD MAN MOM, I LOVE HIM- 😩😭😢🥺

He's an orphan.

Or maybe he had parents but something bad happened to them when he was a fledgling, bcuz I don't like the idea of them abandoning Revali :,(

Has a real soft spot for kids.

He tries to cover it with his sassy and mean actittude and for the same reason he proves himself to be the best and get recognition from anyone. (I think this one is pretty obvious)

When he was given Vah Medoh, he used it as a safe and comfort place.

(It's literal written in his diary, it said Revali flied to Vah Medoh for solace after his encounter with Link who didn't gave a single thought about Revali's skills, no hate intented for link tho)

I love the fact he doesn't care about titles, if you're strong you show it, referring to ones strenght doesn't come from a label but from their capabilities and prowess.

Idk if any of you guys knew it, cuz i didn't til recently, that in that one cutscene in BOTW, where we first "met" Revali, he used his Gale to impress link and did it despite knowing there was a great possibility of failure since it was brand new. This only tells me he would do ABSOLUTE ANYTHING to get a reaction out of someone how's have captive his interest.

- link feels detached from his fuzzy sparse memories of his life 100 years ago, and because of this changes his name and introduces himself as a traveler rather than the hylian champion

- link rescues and registers horses from bokoblins and retires them immediately, so that they can live out the rest of their life being spoiled by stablehands instead of used for fighting and hunting

- link and sidon are dating ofc (also they’re both abrosexual and have low sex drive overall)

- link is genderfluid and sometimes dresses up and travels to gerudo town just to feel the gender euphoria

- LINK LOVES HORSES

- link’s favorite food is just simmered fruit but he hasn’t met a food he dislikes

Link isn't an idiot. He's an avid problem solver.

With that being said, i like to characterize him as being really bad with putting his words together. Often times using strange language to describe things, even things he's knowledgeable on, like swordplay and weaponry.

Like he'll think very hard on a word and then will give up and give a bunch of nonsense descriptors.

both you and link had been traveling on your own, before the two of you even met for the first time

one evening, link joined you by your campfire as you rested for the night and the two of you realized you were both traveling hyrule on your own

so, you decided to team up! 

with no concrete destination, your goal was to see as much as you could together! 

during your trips, you often came across enemies or had to hunt for food and link always admired your strength and courage

you were often the one leading the expeditions and walking ahead to clear an area, despite link being plenty capable himself

link genuinely admired you, thinking he had found an equal in you – or maybe even someone who outshined him! 

though one night by the campfire, the two of you were talking and you ended up confessing to link that you weren't as brave as he thought you were

you only pretended to be fearless, hoping that one day you really wouldn't fear anything anymore… 

despite that confession of yours, link refused to change his mind about you! 

doing the things you fear was the definition of being brave! 

if anything, he only admired and loved you more now…
