Okay so I have this little thing that has a tendancy to bother me.

I like makeup. And I'm a boy.

That wouldnt be a problem on its own, but the problem arises when people have to bring in the fact that I am Transgender.

I dont go out in public wearing makeup for this very reason. I already have a very rough time with being misgendered on the daily and the last thing that I need is to wear makeup and someone immediatly call me a liar about my identity, say that it is just a phase, or straight up ignore my comfortable pronouns.

I don't wear makeup in public specifically because I know that the standard person on the street or a customer at my job isnt going to immediatly know my pronouns.

Some of the top people I look up to (Because of their skill, not their personality or lifestyle necessarily) are people like Jeffree Star, or James Charles. I don't look up to and aspire to have the talent of Female beauty Gurus (Besides Nikkitutorials because she is just a delight) because I don't want to be a pretty /girl/ wearing makeup. I aspire to be a stunning MAN in makeup.. A guy who really knocks your socks off with how gorgeous HIS eyeshadow is kickin. How blinding HIS hilighter is.

I get that your average jo walking down the road wont get that. And I respect their way they choose to think just as I would want them to do for me. Maybe someday in the future when I go through my second puberty and my voice lowers, and I can grow a beard, and I can pass easily ill be able to wear it out. But i dont do it now for this very reason.
