Levi sinks down in his seat, softly closing the rulebook. Gina tucks her hair behind her ears, dropping her head to look at the ground. But Jin doesn't back off.

"Dude, you're making a mistake. All I'm doing is trying to help."

"Well, dude, you're not."

"But—but it sounds like warlock! You just switched out the 'w' for a 'z'. Like, dude—" A disbelieving scowl furrows Jin's brow. "Think about it. Okay? Really think about it. Your warlock's patron is Zorlok?"

"Umm, okay, and did any of us say anything when you named your bard Amadeus?"

"Oh my God, what?! That's completely different! My choice was clearly intentional, it is a reference, and it sounds cool. Now, if I'd named my bard's mentor Bozart or Fuzician, then you'd have a point. But I didn't. Because that's ridiculous."

"I. Don't. Care." Tommy throws out each word like a dart. "Cut it out, Jin. You're acting like a jerk."

Jin and Tommy glare at one another for a long, uncomfortably quiet moment.

"Fine," Jin eventually concedes, breaking the silence and some of the tension. He leans back and looks away from Tommy, his buff arms flexing as they tighten across his broad chest. Tommy quickly looks away too. "Sorry," Jin mumbles. His voice is so low that Tommy can barely hear it, and so terse that he can't tell if it's sincere.

-imo, i still really like all the arranged marriage ships, so my headcanon is that even if the engagements are broken, they get back together at a later date anyway, once blaine resolves his issues and maybe visits a certain monastary. i do think lorena/lance/suzie happens.

-i still don't really like leopold/jamie as a ship? i really tried, and i just... don't see it working out, even if i like jamie falling for leopold! i still can't figure out why i don't like leopold returning those feelings??? all of princesses' romances had such fun manic energy to them, but that was also them finding common ground... whereas jamie's fun manic energy kind of just... worked negatively on leopold, so from leopold's perspective, yeah, i can see him loving jamie as a friend, but more than that, i'm just... not convinced.

-i'm still v. surprised that leland didn't declare his unrequited love for jackie tbh??? to me, he's been in love with jackie for such a long time, marrying isolde only because jackie/lilyth were going to get married too. whatever, i'm still v. charmed by them, and i think they could work it out after some relationship councilling or whatever, what's a couple of revenge schemes among friends and potential incest implications with the whole plaid/pastel marriages happenings.

-i imagine prez/whitney get back together. he may not be rich, but she bears him four children anyway, and they're beautiful together.

-not sold on aurelia/cronis. i liked aurelia's redemption storyline, and her reading the diary when prez told her not to. but... didn't care about her dating life. i do kind of wish she had more panels with her bestie tho.

-monika/orson cute as hell!

-thought i was going to get some syrah/saffron declarations of love, and well... so sad that didn't happen!!!!! oh well, at least i get them both admitting that they had crushes on each other at different points of the story!

Does history of ships is repeating itself?

Those are assortement of the moments between Jack and Leelathae / Gwendolyn and Frederick. The generational ship moments repeating itself there

Also if I could make some narration there:

Appearance wise, Gwendolyn indeed looks like Leelathea and Frederick himself kinda sparkly and yeah a hunk like Jack (both men have hypnotizing very gorgeous eyes, one is as sparkly as vast ocean while the other one is as magical as green woods is)

but antics-wise, Frederick easily freaked out like what Leelathea did when she meets Jack, while Gwendolyn shares her papa antic in some scenes (especially the heartbreaking scene where they thought their loved ones not liking them-> Lilyth by exclaimed that she didn't wanna marry Jack, Gwen by the pain of not believeing Frederick's feeling is genuine one at the end of the gala)

Relationship resolution-wise, both Jack and Frederick asking their loved ones what the problem that makes Lilyth and Gwendolyn sad - both do it twice, but answered not clearly;

Jack asking Lilyth what's wrong when he told that he prepared an engagement party, then asking her later before he gone to expidition - Lilyth never telling to Jack that she cornered by Helena and Jesse, then taunted to will have ugly children if continuing to be with Jack

Frederick collected his heart to asks Gwen if he did something that makes Gwen sad when they first meet (at the crystal room of Jamie's art exhibition), but Gwen freaked out as she realized her confrontation got missed message and lie to Frederick instead=never tell that she heard him calling her ugly at Jamie's wake. The second time at the haunted house in the gala, Frederick offering Gwen to tell anything that might bothering Gwen - but as Gwen thinking her psychomatic stomach 'gone' and Bozart/Schozart announcing that the raffle gonna starts, she missed the chance to tell the truth -> and we get the heartbreaking scene at the gala of revealation instead T^T

I feel like Blaine would name his after a pianist, might even name him after Bozart. Or if a girl probably ’Symphony’ or something musical related.

Lance obviously would name his something like ‘Zeus’, ‘Titan’ or ‘Athena’ cause he thinks they sound cool.

Frederick would either name his after a character from one of his favorite books or just go with something simple like ‘Cody’ or ‘Daisy’ (reference to his bullies nicknaming him ‘Sunflower’)

I don’t know just how shallow Maria and Lorena were at first but for all intents and purposes, they never found Gwen’s appearance to be abnormal and would be surprised people would say otherwise. The Pastel sisters grew up pretty sheltered and barely interacted with people their own age so they have little to no examples of what’s considered “normal” by society’s standards. Maria actually thought they themselves might be considered ugly since the Plaid brothers thought Gwen was ugly. Though she was more offended that they only consider Gwen ugly considering as the oldest she would most likely remember what their late mother looked like. So to call her youngest sister (who’s a spitting image of her) ugly would be calling their beloved mother ugly which prompted her to end the relationships.

I mean, they knew what was handsome, at least. They might be sheltered, but it's established that they've read tons of books and heard from the outside world (like Maria listening to bozart, which I probably spelled wrong), which might have even made the shallowness worse, considering media's established view on this stuff, especially in the pastel kingdom. They never thought their sister's appearance was abnormal because they've known her their whole lives.

What's breaking my heart for Blaine/Maria, is that they were most likely each other's first real friend 🥺 Blaine was the first person outside of her family/female staff Maria ever spoke to, shared her passion of music with (and Bozart fangirling) and struggled to maintain. And Maria was the first person Blaine found endearing WITH her flaws, confided his unsecurities to and the 1st to tell him clearly "I am rooting for you, not your perfection" 😭 I don't think they are meant to be as a couple, but let them be each other's bff please??

They most likely won't date anymore but damn I too really hope they become bffs. Here is my DnD 5e character an Aasimar I called Cyril Bozart who is a Maytr Burden of Revolution.

Cyril Bozart was quite a complex individual, on one hand, he had this strong need for order and was pretty strict about rules as he craved order and often liked to enforce rules and succumb to anarchistic tendencies. He believed in the harsh realities of the world and lived by that, often coming off as stern and unyielding, but beneath that tough exterior, he had a rebellious streak, unafraid to challenge the norm. A man of contradictions as he craved order and often liked to enforce rules with an iron fist, his life was a balancing act between enforcing order and succumbing to anarchistic tendencies, while his methods often came across as stern and unyielding a reflection of his belief in the unforgiving nature of the world. This philosophy manifested in a strained relationship with his son, Zalen. Cyril envisioned a future steeped in religious devotion for Zalen, a path the young man vehemently rejected. Cyril's methods, though fueled by a twisted form of love, were harsh and unforgiving, driving a wedge between them. Although his methods were driven by a kind of tough love that had ended up creating a divide between them. However, when the land was faced with a deadly plague unleashed by Vax'halli, Cyril took it upon himself to stop its spread. In his pursuit to stop this threat, his true nature emerged as an enforcer of order yet a harbinger of chaos.

Random Headcannon List of Characters

Jolie's eye socket of other pocket dimension connects her to the Marble Empire (CPC equivalence for Greece) where things that happened in the 'fictional' books that related to Greek in CPC (Dogyssey, Medusa, Tale of Deaneira) series actually really does happen - those Greek monsters exist, and one of them is biting Saffron at episode 19. Btw Monika's reference at ep 76 of Maria Kondo come from celebrity that like MK in her kingdom - The Quilt Kingdom.

Blaine and Lance's academy isn't St. Cerulean like Frederick and Leland - but both uniform is blue, so I feel the name of the school will be related to blue.. I suggest "Lapis Academy"

Frederick isn't a picky eater (contrasts to Leopold that dislike sweets, or Jamie that had disdain over 'healthly foods' like vegetables) - but he had tedency to eat green-colored foods, so similar with Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan but instead blue is green. This means he loves eating green vegetables like broccoli, spinach, lettuce, cabbage, etc - green fruits like green apple of granny smith, melon, lime, etc - and green flavor associates like matcha (milk green tea)

In the Monochrome kingdom - the most favorite ice cream taste is Cookies and Cream because monochromatic color. Whitney associate that taste as the flavor of his childhood

Maria's collection: she listens to the (Bozart/Schozart) music using grammaphone that she keep at her wardrobe, also she have soft spots to all fairy tales with female blondies in there such as Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland and Rapunzel

Lorena actually the one that cares the pets at their palace the most, not Maria with her animal gathering ability or Gwen with the vermins [like Mr Possum and Mr Rat] - She built a cat tower house for Colonel Snuggles, keeping stash of catnips for Col. Snuggles, buying treats for them - and even the one that cosplaying them [kinda shown being the one that gives them the military gears, or a skirt]

[warning for dark, grim HC there] One of the horrifying taste that Jamie encounter is when the chef feeling suicidal, the food taste abruptly changes to feel like aftertaste of metallic blood. Gwen is very creative person indeed, beside creating various dishes - she also crafting a teddy bear plushie in homage for Frederick, hence the reason Frederick depicted as the bear

Thermidora know and singing "Under the Sea" because the Lobster Kingdom is near the Mermaid Kingdom - which actually exist but never be mentioned to anyone. Another case of similarity with Marble Empire, the 'fairy tales' books actually depicting real life things instead as fictional

Velvet Kingdom where Renée come from specialized in the ringsmithing, everyone rings that depicted so far (Jolie's to Nell, Blaine's to Maria, Lance's to Lorena, Frederick's to Gwen) all are come from this said kingdom that masterfully crafting rings (which imbued by minor magic so always could fits the wearer) and putting it on specialized velvet ring box

Prez literally studied everything from algebra to biology to finance to geography to zoology + curses, espc if depicted from fairy tales - hence she's the one that capable to checking potential CPC member with her knowledge. Her knowledge is so vast but sadly she can't teach

Saffron from Foliage Kingdom and Syrah from Metallic kingdom actually come from neighboring kingdom - their border is metallic fences that has vines of ivy grows there. Their kingdom has many alliances business, which the prominent one is "Goblin's Silverwares" - which a specialized, magical wares (weapons included) that always pristine so no need to get cleaned up + imbibed to get more powerful if getting strong stuffs like venom's beast. Goblin's silverwares are very rare and expensive, with the goblins usually won't ever consider to making one to human unless a very special ocassion arise which also prevents malicious people to get it

Miss Agatha's questionable book collection, she brought it from Pastel Plaza - yes the market selling smut stuff openly
