[Mise en scene: The mobile "pop-up" shortwave worldcaster of Honey and Sis during a surprise daytime worldcast being carried out in the early morning hours somewhere up in Wisconsin, shall we say. Hayward Lakes, perhaps? As the scene opens, the duo formerly of The Hanna-Barbera Happy Hour can be seen at the table of their motorhome/studio getting coffee and rolls ready for the most part as the final notes of their sign-on number, Queen's "Radio Ga-Ga," fade out ...]
HONEY: To paraphrase the songwriter, it's breakfast somewhere, fellow shortwave heads--
SIS, chiming in: And it most certainly IS breakfast here among the Hayward Lakes region in Wisconsin, whence our breakfast worldcast originateth from this time around! No doubt the coffee's on and the cinnamon rolls are nice and warm....
HONEY: And I have to admit and acknowledge that for our European listeners, it's getting close to lunch, and in Australasia, it's getting close to tomorrow for the most part. And for those of you listening across the Americas, it's likely you're having brekkie with us--or soon will be, depending on where you're situated! Hence, we'd appreciate the reception reports you send us in response to this worldcasting emission ...
SIS: And while it may not be in the league of those breakfast shows with celebrity hosts as ruled some 70-75 years ago, do understand we're trying our best to keep them going in spirit at a mininum! Especially considering where, later on today, we plan to do some diving in the lake where we're parked beside, hoping to give some notes on same during another of these worldcasts!
[We find the duo going into a double take of sorts, and they can be heard laughing it off before proceeding onward and upward--and skyward, for after all, this is a worldcast on shortwave radio!]

I hope you are well and have enjoyed your week so far. Nothing really to report on the home front this week as we are getting on with final jobs inside. We have not been out and about much the last three months but hope that once those jobs are done we can be a little more social.

Polluting the ocean? You're harrassing my boyfriend you're SO going to pay for this. Oh, you're cutting down forests? No way in hell are you putting Grover through that you capitalist imbecile. Acid rain? Damaging MY architecture projects? Oooh I'm going to send them to Tartarus and I'm going to fucking love it.
David Tennant on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show talking about Staged :D ❤, 15.03.2024 (x)
Chris: For people who don't know, it was you and Michael... was it Michael McIntyre or Barry Sheen you did it with? Oh no, Michael Sheen! You did it with Michael Sheen!
David: Martin Sheen. We like to call him Martin Sheen, he loves that.
Huckleberry Hound and Clementine doing a breakfast-type radio show in the vein of the husband-and-wife such which dominated morning radio in New York (and perhaps a few other cities) in the 1940's and early 1950's?
(In particular the sort as originated at the breakfast table of their house, with some light banter about current events, what's going on with the neighbours, that sort of thing.)
